Visited Truist Park (stadium #20 for me out of 30) for the first time for Braves vs Phillies on Aug. 22nd and had a fantastic time.
I managed to talk a couple of my friends (one being a huge Phillies fan, the other who was there for the vibes - and a beer) into going in on Xfinity Club tickets for the game (mainly because when you're visiting Atlanta in the summer, having access to a/c is a big 'ol bonus - though the weather ended up being AMAZING... about 80 and a slight breeze). The Phillies fan-friend showed up in an old Utley jersey, which, of course, got her some hilarious attention from the Truist Park and Xfinity Club staff. Honestly, all the staff we encountered were super lovely and friendly and fun.
We all wandered around the park for a bit - both inside the club and outside of it. I got my passport book stamp, bought some pins for my collection, and we found concessions to fit everyone's tastes (I'm not vegan, but I quite enjoyed the vegan cheesesteak at Slutty Vegan - the cheesesteak itself being called the "Hollywood Hooker"). We bought drinks at one of the grab & go concessions inside the Xfinity Club... on the expensive side, but it's all good. When I go to a new stadium, I expect to splurge a bit. It didn't hurt that the tickets we had purchased each came with a $15 credit on them either.
As others have noted, the Xfinity Club level also offers free popcorn, peanuts, and Cracker Jacks for free throughout the game - you can just grab them from any of the stands yourself.
And, of course, the view itself? Fantastic. We sat in section 226, row 7, and we really got to enjoy the full view of the stadium from a bit above homeplate.
TL;DR In my journey to see all 30 MLB ballparks, Truist Park was a memorable stop. While I didn't really spend much time in The Battery area, I can say that Truist Park is a fan-friendly delight.
