Out on Fremont and saw their truck. No line and it smelled goooood. I got the chicken burrito, pleasantly surprised by the quantity and quality! Big chunks of chicken and veggies with rice. Get the spicy sauce! That is great!

Google
Awesome food. Got a Chicken fried Rice while I was at NAHB IBS 2025 Show . I should say that , this is one of the best. I would be eating here again.

Ate at the truck at the world market in Las Vegas. I ordered the surf and turf plate ($32 rip off) the so called "Sizzling Ribeye seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic butter, soy sauce and sake" the shrimp was good, the rice was not "fried rice" and it was short grain brown rice to me, no egg or veg. if you are serving Japanese style fried rice this is not it. The steak with not sizzling and not ribeye, it wash tough overcooked and more like beef out a can, save your money so disappointed. I told the worker and they said have a nice day

Very good food truck near the Las Vegas Convention Center. It has Japanese inspired burritos and rice bowls. got the chicken burrito with the hot sauce and it was very wel made! The chicken was juicy, the fried rice inside was great, and the veggies were sauteed to perfection. The hot sauce was an amazing compliment to the burrito, and it had me wishingI had more to douse the burrito in. 10/10 come here if you find yourself at the LVCC, like did for CES 2023, you won't be disappointed.

Google
One of the best food trucks in Las Vegas. Whenever I am craving Japanese food or even specifically teppanyaki (hibachi) I no longer have to go to a restaurant to get my food cooked for me. Owners are super friendly and accommodating. I always order the 2 meat plate just for me, and I get there juicy ribeye and shrimp, which comes with fried rice and stir fried vegetables. And you can't forget their delicious MAS sauce (hot sauce) that comes with all the burritos and plates at their truck.

Tried the shrimp tacos. INCREDIBLE. The flavors are unlike anything I’ve tried. 10 /10 recommend.

We were blessed to have this truck parked by our wing of the convention center. Holy Sh!t…amazing flavors, so fresh and delicious! I happily ate it every day of my trip. (I ordered the veggie plate and my coworkers got steak and chicken—everyone loved it) Beats everything inside the convention center and most hotels by miles, especially for the price) Thank you again guys, y’all got it goin on!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽😋

We have now made Truknyaki a weekly thing; so good. Beyond that, the first time we tried them our battery died in the parking lot and Francisco was super cool enough to come and offer to jump us. :) It's the people that make a business and these ones are pretty amazing.

Yelp
The food here is sort of meh... all the flavors in the Japanese burrito just sort of blended together. The concoction wasn't as good as the sum of its parts... not bad, but the combination of flavors just didn't sing. Service was friendly, so at least they have that.

Yelp
I keep doing this to restaurants and food trucks recently and I don't know what the deal is, but I have had this before and it was awesome. I spend upwards of $100 for 3 people and the meat was dry and not even close to seasoned like Japanese food. The rice was crunchy and the egg rolls were burnt. The only good thing I bought was an iced cold coke! Honestly, we threw all of it away after a couple bites and I was upset! It's too expensive not to be top notch. (Pricing did differ because they travelled to private property to serve) Try $20 for hard chicken and gross crunchy rice. If I could have gone back and returned I would have. Beware. Its not like it was a year ago!

Yelp
Went to this food truck and the customer service was so bad . The lady taking the order was rude and when my order was ready it wasn't called and when I asked if it was my order because it was sitting there she just slide it to me . The food I will say was delicious but after this experience I won't purchase anything else from this spot

Yelp
A few weekends ago we attended the Anime Las Vegas con where this fabulous food truck was feeding the very hungry cosplayers! The smells coming from this truck were absolutely heavenly so we chose them. I went with the prime rib burrito and my sister chose the prime rib plate. The cashier was so friendly and helped me pick which sauce I would most likely enjoy more. They had a great system with numbers and a loud speaker calling out orders. Unfortunately there was a little mixup with mine and a different customers order but it got figured out quickly and with an apology. On to the food! The meat had some chewy pieces but mostly was tender the flavor was incredible! The rice and veggies were so yummy and the portions were very filling! I will be looking out for a schedule to try this place again! Overall 10/10 would eat here again!

Yelp
The food is solid, no doubt, with some tasty flavors going on. The chicken teriyaki hit the spot, but I've had better. The vibe is cool, but it didn't blow my mind. Decent spot for a quick bite.

Yelp
Food was over priced for what I ordered Drinks are not good to get, got a soda and I didn't even open it and it had white flakes in the drink, reason for that is the drink are in hot weather and back on ice and then back in hot weather I recommend not going to this drive up food truck down right a disappointment

Yelp
In the food truck game around town Truknyaki is one of my favorites. I always get the Shrimp plate and my husband always gets the Rib Eye Plate. Always delicious. Wish there were a bit more veggies or option to add a side of veggies or extra fried rice. Decent price for a food truck comparatively. Service is always friendly.

Yelp
I love this truck. Doesn't matter which other trucks are around I always go to truk-n-yaki. It's delicious and most importantly to me it's consistently delicious. Every time I take a bite I'm mad I didn't order a second one. By the time at the end of the burrito I'm barely able to finish it and probably made the right choice only getting one. I do wish they would give you a bigger container of the spicy salsa because that is also delicious.

Yelp
I really wanted to support this business and give it a try. I placed a pick up order through their website and it was smooth and easy. I got an email confirmation, cross streets, and a number to call for the pick up. I waited an hour plus to drive down and find... Nothing. Thinking I'd been scammed I tried to call the number in the email and it said it wasn't in service. Panicked, I googled another number that thankfully did go through, and they tell me my order is ready. "Great! But where are you?" Turns out they're in North Las Vegas, some 40 ish minutes away. Yeah, I'm not driving to a food truck to pick up 40 dollars worth of cold food (including a 15% tip). I requested a refund and am still waiting on it. They cite iPad issues for the delay. I'm incredibly disappointed because the food looks great but I won't give them another chance after this frustrating experience that's left me pissed and hungry. Especially given I still haven't received my refund. Edit: Though it took some time, I did receive my refund, so I have adjusted my review to reflect this. I do still wish they could have let me know their location had changed and they need to update their email contact number for pickup. I would have gladly ordered another day when they were closer again.

Yelp
Teppanyaki on wheels? Yes, now that's possible thanks to the delicious Truk-N-Yaki! I was at the furniture convention in Las Vegas and there is have a food truck court outside the buildings. I did not what to get for lunch. I wanted something yummy but not too heavy or greasy. I saw this teppanyaki truck and decided to give it a try. I ordered the "Japanese plate with two meats:" Shrimp and rib eye, the plate comes with rice and veggies. The food was delicious! Great steak and shrimps. The steak was a little over cooked but it still tasted good. You have the choice to have a side sauce either sweet or spicy. I got the sweet to put on the rice. I also got a "Japanese Chicken Burrito," for my co worker and he loved it. He got the spicy sauce with it and enjoy every bit of it. I think is awesome you can find this type of food in a truck. I don't give them 5 stars because the paper plate where I got my food was mushy by the time I got it. The soy sauce was dripping and it was a little mess! Luckily I had a plastic bag to put the food in!

Yelp
Feels like a San Francisco food truck but it's actually here in Vegas! What a delightful find. The flavors to both the chicken and beef are amazing! They don't have vegan options but you can just order the veggies sans the meat, it's delicious as well. Definitely try them if they're in your hood.

Yelp
They've been around for almost two years, but I only just tried this local truck today at the overpriced Great American Foodie Fest. (Not entirely my choice, so don't judge.) Truk-N-Yaki bills itself as somewhat of a Japanese steakhouse on wheels. They offer a simple menu of rice plates and burritos, with the same protein options for each: chicken, shrimp, and ribeye. My mom thought that the ribeye burrito ($12 at this event) sounded relatively interesting out of the available foods at Foodie Fest, so we got it. It was conveniently sliced in half on the diagonal and had a medium-spicy sauce on the side. The burrito was hot and pretty rich in flavor, the protein portion was sufficient, the ribeye was meaty yet tender and the shell was crispy. The sauce was nice but not essential. I enjoyed it overall, but the flavors weren't mindblowing and the portion was very modest. I liked them, but this could've easily been a 3-star review if they'd been slightly more stingy with the meat. Maybe I'll try them again after I've explored the rest of the local Asian truck scene.

Yelp
Tried this truck today and unfortunately the food was very disappointing. They advertised as Japanese teppanyaki-hibatchi style plate but the food did not taste like it at all. I got the chicken plate and most of the chicken had fat on it. They over peppered it and it was straight up a bed of oil at the bottom. I threw away most of it and it was a total waste of my money. The only plus side was that the girl who took my order was nice.

Yelp
Hot, fresh, deliciousness! So tasty, and I was glad the Truk was stopping by the Government Center on a Friday to cheer up the government workers! I chose the chicken bowl instead of the burrito. The chicken plate is very flavorful, and is a pretty good sized portion. I do enjoy a spicy kick to my food, and this meal was just spicy enough! There was enough meat in the chicken plate, and the veggies were pretty good too. There were about 5 customers waiting to pick up food, and my wait was about 10 minutes. I'd rate their food better than most trucks that I've ordered from! Credit cards are accepted also.

Yelp
I love this truck! Every time this truck visits my work, I always choose them. I really enjoy the shrimp plate with fried rice. I've also tried their ribeye plate with fried rice but in my opinion, it was way too salty. Especially when I got to the bottom of the bowl. Good thing is, they really don't skimp on the protein! I have yet to try their other combinations but I look forward to trying more next time they stop by my work again! Service is also great and quick. Give this place a try!

Manuel P.

Yelp
Truk-N-Yaki is without a doubt the best food truck in Vegas. The customer service is great, food is prepared right when you place your order. Very tasteful and great price. I will continue coming back.

Yelp
I was looking for something different to eat at other than Lucky's and spotted this food truck outside the LVCC during CES. The menu looked interesting and I decided to give the ribeye burrito($13) a try. They have rice plates with your choice of beef, shrimp, or chicken that comes w/ fried rice and veggies. You can also roll any of those up into a burrito for a couple dollars less. Even though I enjoyed my burrito, the meat to rice ratio was 1:4 and after a couple bites of getting just mouthfuls of rice, I tore the burrito apart and finished it with a fork. The sauce they put in it is a creamy, savory sauce that really made the burrito. Also grab the hot sauce for a little kick! Next time, I'll probably try one of the plates since they seem to have more meat!
google avatar

Alicia H.

Yelp
The food is good but overpriced. The veggies are 90% onions even when you ask for easy onions. So I would say it's good, but not great.
google avatar

Robin T.

Yelp
Had Truk-N-Yaki for the first time at the RISE Festival & their food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Great food at a reasonable price considering the fact that they had shrimp & lobster! My pics don't do it justice, but if you try their food you DEFINITELY will NOT be disappointed!
google avatar

Arabela C.

Yelp
Had to give 3 stars since the rice was sorta hard and tasted old. Sucks. I do have to give mad props to the ribeye. It was delicious and tender. The sauce wasn't too bad either. I'd definitely try it again, just in hopes that the rice is a bit more fresh. I'll try the burrito next time.

Alana L.

Yelp
Really disappointing when you try to support a local business and they act like they're doing you a favor by even talking to you. Lady in the truck ignored multiple requests to order (we were trying to be patient because she looked stressed) then yelled at us that they ran out of food and had the balls to keep shouting at me after I walked away. The guy next to me look shocked. Sorry you got into the wrong business because clearly hospitality isn't for you.

Yelp
It's Friday night and in the mood for something quick. I stopped by where all the food trucks where and Truk-N-Yaki caught my eye. I ordered the surf-n-turf burrito which was super delicious. Everything was very well seasoned and packed super tight in the burrito. You get a lot of meat for your money. I also got the gyoza which came with five. Also very flavorful and delicious. I would highly recommend you try this for yourself. The owners/staff were super friendly and everything was freshly made.
google avatar

Aaron P.

Yelp
They were so friendly and willing to assist me in all of my boogie particular ordering specifications (accommodating AF). Not only that, but they were fantastic. Unbelievably good. I got the Japanese burrito with medium rare ribeye and shrimp. Let me tell you... if one of these shrimp trucks exploded and killed us right now, I would have died happy. I strongly recommend it.

Yelp
Our favorite truck!!! My go to is steak and shrimp plate, it's amazing!!! It should be served in a restaurant. They are also super friendly and always serve with a smile. Thank you Truknyaki !! We look forward to the next time we have you!! We will have to come find you to get our steak and shrimp plate!!

Yelp
Best healthy choice at 1st Friday. I LOVE HIBACHI!!! And they make great hibachi style! Always fill your plate and stomach, and I can put it down.

Clarity F.

Yelp
This truck has come to my office multiple times now, so I figured it must be worth a try. I ordered the rib-eye burrito, and at $12 I had really high hopes that it would be amazing. It was decent, but nothing special...certainly not worth the cost. The meat was scant, the rice was overflowing, and the onions were in large chunks (far bigger than I like). The meat was just average in flavor, and on the tough side of the spectrum. I had a side of sweet sauce, which turned out to be just soy sauce? ‍ I ended up re-wrapping the second half, because the ingredients were not mixed together. In my first half, most of the meat was at the bottom, and most of the rice was at the top. I ate it because I was hungry and paid a lot of money for the food...but I don't think I'll be coming back to this truck. I REALLY wanted to love this burrito. But sad to say, I could make something better at home.

Yelp
Some of the best food-truck food I've ever had!! They're here at the convention center Beer Garden tent serving food for the InfoComm show. Yesterday we tried the chicken teriyaki and it was wonderful! Excellent seasoning and flavor, and the fried rice is done to perfection. Today we had the Ribeye dish and again, some of the yummiest food from a truck I've ever had. Same awesome fried rice as yesterday. Pricing is typical "food truck" pricing - not elevated just because they're at a major trade show. If you're at a show and these guys show up, skip the crap from the LVCC food service and wander outside to the Truk-N-Yaki truck - you won't regret it. Dave

Yelp
We were lucky to catch this place at a food truck event at Sunset Park one time, some time ago. YUMMY food! This was the best in the food truck arena, in my opinion (I've tried a few). I had the teriyaki dish and so did my husband. I love fusion food (but sadly, some miss the mark). Not this one! I've tried a few and I've got my favorites. This place easily falls into the category of "my favorites." The quality of the ingredients is important. Isn't it terrible when you get a stir-fry dish that has mushy veggies? Not the case here. I like my stir-fry veggies crisp-tender. The flavors are equally important. What I mean by this, is that they all have to come together, and not overpower each other, if that makes any sense. If there's too much sauce, then it's too sweet, ya know? The portion size is also important (lots of food trucks are pretty skimpy). It was a good size, satisfying and substantial. The price is also a factor. It wasn't breaking the bank (some food trucks are outrageous). Oh, and the wait wasn't too bad, either. So, when all of these, are on point, you really take notice, and the lasting impression/ memory is enough to try to follow up and try to catch this food truck at another event. (Note: I really did take my time to enjoy and savor this yumminess, because I didn't want to rush through it.) We really want to have this yummy teriyaki dish again (Hubby loved it too!!!)! I think I need to check out their website again very soon.

Anne S.

Yelp
Super friendly people - but honestly - WAY overpriced and a little tasteless. Got a burrito from there last night when they were parked outside of the Tractor Supply. A burrito that was packed inside a Styrofoam hot dog container was $11.78. There was more rice than there was actual chicken. It tasted okay I guess, but I definitely wouldn't recommend.
google avatar

Mike B.

Yelp
Wow, why haven't I tried this sooner?! Life was beautiful at the "Life is Beautiful" festival simply after taking one bite of this food truck's Japanese Burrito. Think chicken teriyaki wrapped up into a burrito. The chicken was perfect in here. I'm talking super flavorful, tender, and moist. My wife compared it to eating the from the best Chicken and Rice halal dish in NYC! That says a lot! The burrito was so good and the food truck will be something I'll be constantly tracking down anywhere in Las Vegas. Definitely looking forward to trying their other meat selections as well as their Teriyaki bowls. If you haven't came across this gem yet, I suggest you do something about that now! It's really that good!

Stephanie R.

Yelp
Our PTA got their truck to come to our school for teacher appreciation week. I love burritos and this was delicious. I got the chicken burrito with both sweet and spicy sauces. The service was quick and friendly. The food was wonderful. I will definitely look for their truck and eat here again.
google avatar

Kevin Z.

Yelp
I know there is a lot of hype around food trucks these days, but it's rare I catch a really good one. Truk-N-Yaki is one of them. I love my burritos & have my favs from various places. Truk-N-Yaki is now apart of that list. I ordered a combo burrito w/ chicken & shrimp. It came w/ fried rice & veggies. Super flavorful. W/ flavors like that I'll be coming back anytime I see them.
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
Went to there truck at Ces had a huge line so I was excited, took 35 minuets to come out and they got my order wrong! They got me a new plate fast and I think they hooked me up with extra meet. Beef was okay nothing special shrimp was good not over cooked. Fried rice tasty but little undercooked. Wasn't to original but meat was done right. I would go back if there wasn't a wait.
google avatar

D. W.

Yelp
Apparently just having a food truck is, in and of itself, virtue enough. No need to serve high end food, just having a grill on wheels. Mobile food is where it's at, amirite? This is about as phoned in of a representation of Japanese food as I've seen. The wraps are "Japanese burritos", which means about half of the food you get in a plate stuffed into a shell. The "Mas" hot sauce is awful and the teriyaki not much further behind. Rice is not so hot and none of the cups seem to fit well, so sure, spill that sauce all over yourself. What the Hell, it's Vegas, right? All the extra expense is because it's so cool and all... So, if overcooked ribeye and vegetables predominantly high in onions, yet without any actual cooking technique, are your thing, here you go. Look no further.
google avatar

Tegan M.

Yelp
I have to admit - I was a little bit nervous about shrimp from a food truck. Boy oh boy was I wrong! Yesterday I got the shrimp teriyaki plate (served with veggies and fried rice). The shrimp was nothing less than delectable - perfectly cooked, plump and delicious. The fried rice and veggies likewise had amazing flavor. I will definitely order from this truck again. Also, they have a really interesting sounding Asian burrito with similar ingredients that i really want to try...

Yelp
Had Truk N Yaki for the first time and was highly impressed compared to many other food trucks I have eaten from. Francisco really gets great flavor from his ingredients and cooking talent! He also had a very nice young woman working with him and our whole group of people enjoyed the food. If there was a line of food trucks in front of me, I would choose Truk N Yaki for sure! Thanks!
google avatar

Linda P.

Yelp
Had Truknyaki at the Sunset Park food truck event. Amazing food. Cooked to order. I guess they are pretty popular, the line was long and due to the fact it is prepared to order there was a wait for food. Worth the wait. Their custom sauce was to die for. I have never had food of this quality from a food truck.
google avatar

Jem M.

Yelp
Came here for the first time during this every 3rd Thursday event downtown. I had the japanese shrimp burrito with a soda. Love the spiciness to it and honestly sad to say I had to babysit this burrito being full half way. Delicious!
google avatar

Emily V.

Yelp
Ordered a chicken burrito ($8) between class periods and they made an immediate loyal fan. While there was a lot of rice, the sauce added enough flavor to make up for it. The mix of onions, zucchini, and mushrooms is a definite favorite for both texture and taste. There was an included cup of sauce that added heat and a hint of sweetness, though it was a bit hard to dip without spilling rice. It's hibachi in a tortilla, and that's pretty much all I could ask for out of lunch. My only issues were the limited drink selection (water, Sprite, and Pepsi) and that the chicken was a bit gristly. Everything was delicious and served quickly.
google avatar

Just Another Hungry Guy C.

Yelp
Tasted like a frozen dinner. The meat in the steak burrito tasted like it had freezer burn. Go back to the drawing board. Japanese and Mexican food does not mix well together.
google avatar

Peggy J.

Yelp
Shockingly GOOD! First time trying this truck, we ordered the "shrimp burrito" it was amazing, full of flavor, perfectly seasoned and loaded with all things teppanyaki. The shrimp were plump and fresh, which I was a little worried about since we live in the hot desert. Putting everything inside a tortilla is genius, as it can be difficult to eat with a traditional knife and fork when you don't have a table.
google avatar

JK H.

Yelp
Ribeye burrito Haha.. tasted worse than the old microwaved bean burritos... Loaded with cartilage, tough, inedible bla. No more food trucks for me. UGH! JKKUHL
google avatar

Ron D.

Yelp
Excellent! Spicy chicken burrito was a big hit at SEMA. Hope you expand to So Cal soon.
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
Sunset Park'd event and the Japanese Burrito sounded good and could have been better. I ordered the Burrito with ribeye and it only took a few minutes. If you remember the old Wendy's commercial with the old woman saying repetitively "where's the beef" this burrito would be perfect for that commercial. About 90 percent rice the veggies and ribeye are just a few chunks in each half. You definitely gets bites with no meat. Flavors were good and the sauce had a little spice to it but not worth the $11 they charge. Now I know why there was no line!
google avatar

Tim W.

Yelp
Wow! Absolutely amazing food for a reasonable price! Thank you for coming to punk rock bowling, you guys are amazing! The Japanese Burrito and the Chicken Plate were both perfectly done! Great job guys!
google avatar

Cassandra D.

Yelp
The ribeye Japanese burrito is THE BOMB. I'm normally really picky with vegetables, unless they compliment the flavors and oh mannnn, every single bite of this burrito was so good. The ribeye itself was perfectly tender. I can't wait to have another burrito from them.
