Oyster Bah Review - Lincoln Park - Chicago - The Infatuation

"It may have taken you a minute to realize that “Bah” is the phonetic spelling of the New England pronunciation of “bar,” but what do you expect from the Midwest trying to do East Coast seafood? Oyster Bah is the casual seafood shack alternative to the more formal Shaw’s Crab House, and as the name would indicate, the place feels like a Chicago copy of a New England seafood shack. Your experience kind of goes like this: You walk in and feel like you’re in coastal New England, thanks to the fish and fishing pictures on the wall. The vibe is comfortable and charming, where we imagine Ivy League kids like to hang out when they’re not inventing Facebook. As for the food? You order a few oysters, and they’re delicious. So far, you’re thriving. By the time the rest of your meal rolls in, you’ve had a few drinks, probably wine or a light beer, and after a few drinks, nothing tastes bad. But you’re definitely regretting your decision to share plates, and you’re starting to get anxious there won't be enough food. Then the check comes. It’s only now, in retrospect, that you realize Oyster Bah can be hit or miss. Yes, you had fun and were relaxed. Yes, dishes like the red snapper and New England stuffies are great. But not everything else was as good, and that was even more noticeable once the prices added up. There are certainly far worse things than having a fun, casual evening and paying a little too much for it, especially when excellent oysters are involved. So use Oyster Bah for a first date or a casual group dinner — when the people are more important than the food. Food Rundown Oysters These definitely do not disappoint. We suggest getting a mix of both coasts, and planning the rest of your meal from there. Tuna Poke Avocado, soy ginger, and sesame. It's tuna poke. It's fine. Arugula Salad Something about peppery arugula and parmesan cheese never gets old. It’s a nice break from all the seafood. Little Stuffies The name of the dish makes these sound like a tiny tasting item. Little did we know these are made with quahog, which is a giant clam. They’re stuffed with a ton of chopped clams, chorizo, and a few breadcrumbs. These are awesome, and will be the pinnacle of your meal. Consider two orders. Steamed Maine Mussels There’s nothing we love more than mussels, but there are a lot of mussels we love more than these. They're tiny and the sauce is decent, making this dish far more work than it was worth. Lobster Roll Mixed with a mayo sauce. It's a safe bet if you want to order something for yourself. Red Snapper The presentation of this dish is impressive. It comes with the head on, so it looks like you’re getting a whole fish. But you’re not—the filet on the back is removed. We don’t usually like successful trickery, but $28 for this fish is still a good order. The spicy Thai chili sauce makes it all worth it. Dirty Rice We wouldn’t order this again. It was almost $8, and despite boasting a creole lobster sauce, it's mostly a flavorless bowl of rice. Carrots Solid roasted carrots, but, they're still carrots. Keep things seafood heavy unless you're dying for a veggie." - Caitlin Doermer

****Updated as of 2.22.25 Sadly it's pretty clear this bar will close soon, we came here last night and it was almost empty, except for one bartender. We had one of the worst dirty Martinis ever drank and they only had one vodka for the bar. It seems that the owners don't care anymore, sad as this used to be a great spot but it'll be gone soon. So glad we decided to come here, the vibe, food, and drinks were all amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and service was excellent. See some of my photos but it has a cool retro vibe and all the mirrors make it seem bigger than it actually is. We ordered the whipped feta which you need to get, was one of the best apps I've ever had! Also did the tenders which were pretty standard but great, and lastly did the burgers with truffle fries which were so good with the aioli. (Pics attached) The espresso martini was so good and definitely recommend getting that as a drink. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5

Google
The happy hour at this spot offers a decent selection of menu items, including oysters, wings, and tacos that seem designed for a lively atmosphere. The oysters, in particular, are a favorite and fresh, while the lobster rolls add a nice touch of variety. The drink menu is also broad, with options like sangria and espresso martinis that are perfect for unwinding after a long day. However, despite the appealing menu, the experience was underwhelming due to the slow and inattentive service. Staff seemed to lack urgency and attentiveness, leading to delays and a lack of follow-up throughout the meal. This was disappointing, especially during a busy happy hour where timely service is essential to keep the energy up. Even when we asked to speak with the manager, the response felt lukewarm, which unfortunately added to the feeling of being overlooked as a guest. While the prices were reasonable for the quality, and the menu offers some enjoyable items, the service experience made it difficult to fully appreciate the setting. Improvement in staff attentiveness and overall service would greatly enhance the potential of this otherwise appealing happy hour destination

At a loss for words… and oysters, too, apparently. Showed up to this self proclaimed oyster bar only to be told they are out of oysters. Our server went to the back to check, and then came back to tell us that we could only order them in batches of 6. Advertising $1 oysters on your happy hour menu sounds great, but there were only four of us, and we only wanted four oysters. So why wouldn’t there be a clause on the menu stating that the minimum is 6? We ordered the whipped feta, truffle fries, and some tacos. Tacos at an oyster bar??? You know what, sure. I tried to order a steak Caesar, only to be told they did not have steak. I decided against the Caesar all together, but they brought it out. I asked them to take it away because I did not order that and they included it on my bill anyway. The feta was not whipped in any sense and we were skeptical that it was even feta (See attached). The “truffle” fries were just sprinkled with parm parsley and pepper. The ketchup side was criminal. Hello??? My friends and I were completely confused with our entire experience here.

We came for Happy Hour today and tried the espresso martini, oysters, wings, and tacos and enjoyed them all! Beto was so friendly and accommodating when we switched seats at the bar (embarrasingly) twice! The ambience/vibe was very cozy yet upscale and the Happy Hour appetizers were delicious!

Been here multiple times, Food is quite delicious but a little pricey. Quality is definitely there. Drinks are always good. Service can be slow. Happy hour is the best in river north and worth trying out. Wings are also sooooooo good!!

Google
Went here after a party nearby with a group of people, and they had $1 dollar oysters for happy hour! Not only was happy hour taking place on a Saturday, but it lasted until 7PM!! Love that! Had white sangria, truffle fries and oysters and was pleasantly surprised. Good music and vibes, staff were attentive and bathrooms clean. Will return!

Google
Happy hours $1 oyster start at 11am but the place is empty. Really small oyster, dry wings, tacos is nothing special. Happy hours drink is frozen espresso martini. I was holding the happy hours menu but I read it wrong and the waiter didn't even check it. He brought me regular espresso martini and charge me regular price.

Google
New favorite happy hour spot! See photos for all menus — not online. They also have a full food menu and last time I got the lettuce wraps which were really good!! I was pretty convinced this place didn’t exist because their website doesn’t work and there wasn’t much info online but happy to report it does! Highly recommend the oysters (super fresh somehow), the sangria, espresso martini, and lettuce wraps if you want something light ! Edit: came again today and the not your moms cosmo was amazing ! Heads up that they literally have 0 vegan options, just the guacamole so if you’re vegan eat before

Yelp
I tried Happy Hour with a friend. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They clearly explained how happy hour worked, and checked on me while I waited for my friend. The sangria was great (especially the red sangria), the white wine was not great, and my friend liked the Espresso Martini. Given the bars oyster focus, we were disappointed that several of the oysters had shell shards in them, and could have been shucked better. The flavor of the oysters were fine, but it's the risk you take for $2 oysters. Honestly the highlight were the chicken tacos. Those were really good! Also so fun seeing the Christmas decorations, and the various seating types were cool.

Yelp
You want a good Happy Hour place, this is where to go. I got in early, around 4:50 and was able to get a seat. The place certainly clears up at 7, considering their happy hour goes until 7 pm, which is fantastic! For their drinks, they offer a selection of choices like espresso martini. They have oysters, tacos, and wings. You could get full eating happy hour items, because I did! You really should probably try to reserve during Happy Hour because it's packed. Music is a bit loud but the energy is fun and the atmosphere is trendy slash vintage. It's really good to catch up with folks after work and still hit a train where you're not too late getting home.

Yelp
Stopped by for HH to take a break from a summer rain bike ride. Nice deco decor but it's a bit diminished by loud bumpin' music and 9 TV's in the room, mostly airing COP America USA 2024 though scanning the room, aside from one bartender checking his watch and watching the game, everyone seems to be ignoring the TV's. Now, for the $1 oysters - the answer given to "what kind do you have today?" was "we have east and west". For a place that has "oyster bar" in the name, this is oddly vague. I order 6 of each and am promptly informed that a dozen is the limit. (Wings must be ordered in multiples of six also; three flavors were on offer or you can order them plain and get the sauce on the side.) The shucks are crude with shell bits and no oyster liqueur; the cocktail sauce is a limp ketchupy weak sauce, but the lemon wedges are good and mignonette is fine. Cant complain about one-buck-shucks... And hitherto i never have! BUT, 1 of the 12 was truly spoiled/rancid... I returned it to its halfshell after a sad little gag in the mouth. Worse yet, there was also a live little vertebrate worm of some kind crawling between two shells; the still photo below doesn't do it justice and I dont think i can upload video. The bartender offered 4 more oysters on the house and, although I've eaten some questionable stuff in my varied gastronomical adventures I did not feel courageous about eating more than the 11.25 oysters I already had here. Good thing they set a limit of 12 off the bat... Hopefully that is the stomach poisoning threshold and Ive eked below it. The front-of-house knocked a chunk off my check and offered apologies; obviously they werent the ones who didn't clean/shuck properly but golly.... If I never post another Yelp review, let the world know i'd die for hh oysters :)

Yelp
Happy Hour Bliss at Yours Truly! With the irresistible offer of $1 oysters, available in sets of 6, 12, or 18, it was an opportunity we couldn't pass up. Despite the quiet ambiance on a Friday night, the experience was worth every penny! Food: 4.5/5 Indulging in the fresh and succulent oysters at Yours Truly was a treat for the taste buds. Each bite was a burst of oceanic flavor, perfectly complemented by a squeeze of lemon and a splash of hot sauce. The quality of the oysters exceeded our expectations, making them an absolute steal at just $1 each. Service: 5/5 The service at Yours Truly was top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring that our happy hour experience was nothing short of perfect. From friendly greetings to prompt service, they made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our visit. Ambiance:5/5 While the ambiance was quiet on a Friday night, it provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and enjoyable happy hour. The laid-back atmosphere allowed us to unwind and savor the flavors of the oysters without distractions. Price:6/5 With oysters priced at just $1 each, Yours Truly offered exceptional value for the quality and freshness of the seafood. Whether ordering a small or large quantity, every oyster was worth every penny, making our happy hour experience truly memorable.

Yelp
Needed a nice happy hour to go to with good drinks. Decided to go to yours truly for some cocktails. I got the wings and tacos. The tacos were a bit dry so I was a little disappointed. But the wings were pretty food. Service was ok, they were super busy this day but still made sure to check in on me. All in all I do like to visit for happy hour and I'll be returning soon.

Yelp
Great food good atmosphere very attentive nice crowd of people. Sat at the bar the service was top tier. Food came at in a timely fashion and they have a great line of different drinks

Yelp
This place has a killer happy hour, perfect for trying a little bit of everything. I'm an espresso martini girl, so that's what I ordered, and it didn't disappoint. I also had some oysters, wings, and a fried chicken taco--all were solid. The prices were great for the portion sizes, and everything tasted good (not amazing, but good). For happy hour vibes, cost, and service, this place is a win. The ambience was also enjoyable.
google avatar

Alex W.

Yelp
We came as a small group to try out the happy hour because we like oysters and these are $1! You can pick East or West coast and there is no limit on the amount you can order. The white wine went well with the oysters. After we tried the chicken wings which were really good! They didn't even need a dipping sauce. We had some sangria with the wings because I think it's similar to a soda anyways. Lastly the tacos were the only item I'd skip next time. They were pretty dry. Definitely going back though.

Yelp
This is one of the cutest bars I've been to in a long time! Went in around 9 pm on a Thursday and was able to sit at the bar immediately! The bartender gave us plenty of time with the menu and was quick to serve us when we were ready! Music was fantastic, decor was so cute and definitely instagram worthy if that's your thing! The only reason I'm not giving it 5 starts is we weren't given the drink we asked for, they had a special espresso martini on the menu but they gave us regular. It was still delicious but I can get one of those anywhere and really wanted to try a yours truly special. I would still highly suggest stopping here! One mistake should definitely not keep you away!

Yelp
Wonderful happy hour deals for food and drink. They have a small outdoor patio by the sidewalk which has about 10-15 tables! The service was quick and the ambiance was nice. I tried the espresso martini, sangria! Whipped feta and mac n cheese, which were average overall. I'd recommend wine or beer off the happy hour menu!
google avatar

Tamara F.

Yelp
Happy Hour deal is phenomenal- I be slangin oysters left to right!!! The sangria was really good too
google avatar

Bea A.

Yelp
A pretty decent happy hour. Oysters are $1 and Chicken Wings are $2. You're also given the option between East and West coast oysters. With these prices, you can't go wrong. The decor is very intimate and trendy and it's a good spot to bring a small group of friends. From my happy hour experiences, service has been a bit delayed, so it may not be the spot for a quick bite.

Yelp
PSA: found my new favorite oyster happy hour spot in Chicago - AND it lasts until 7pm !! $1 oysters, $2 house wings, $3 fried chicken or cauliflower tacos, $6 drafts, $8 toasted espresso martinis, etc. etc. not only are these great deals, but everything was also actually delicious. i know sometimes happy hour oysters can be mediocre quality, but these were great. and the wings... this might be a controversial statement, but they were some of the best i've had in Chi!! i also loved the vibe - it's a mesh of "gossiping over espresso martinis" + "watching football and drinking beer." love it. what we ordered: - oysters - house wings - fried chicken tacos - mussels & linguine (not HH) - toasted espresso martinis, sangria
google avatar

Rob L.

Yelp
$1 oysters and $3 chicken tacos for happy hour! They do east and west coast oysters as well as $8 espresso martinis. Service was good and staff is friendly constantly checking on us and clearing items. Overall great experience and great oysters!!
google avatar

Franke H.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday happy hour. It was super packed but I grabbed a seat at the bar. I waited about 15m. The happy hour menu is decent. I had six oysters and two chicken tacos. They all were delish. The ambiance is cozy but nicely set up. Light music playing. It's a great spot to come hangout solo or even with friends or a date.
google avatar

Ha T.

Yelp
Service was really slow despite it not being that busy during HH. our server missed a few of our items or maybe just forgot to put them in? It took really long to order more drinks during the limited time we had there which was a bummer. Didn't feel like we were able to make the most out of the HH deals here
google avatar

Zoe T.

Yelp
A really cute spot for happy hour and drinks. We loved the $1 oyster deal as well as the chicken tacos!
google avatar

Susan W.

Yelp
While on vacay, my friends and I had time to spare before dinner so we decided to find some happy hour spots. We just happened to come across Yours Truly and I am glad we did. Although their HH menu was small, they had everything we needed. Whether that was an espresso martini, sangria, or different wine offerings. We also got a dozen oysters to share. The place was super cute, the vibes were right, and music was good. Although our service was great, it was very slow at times.
google avatar

Truc N.

Yelp
Definitely a total vibe at Yours Truly with the unique decors. The place is definitely beautifully decorated with a modern but a hint of vintage vibe. Our server was friendly and gave us some recommendations for our drinks. We were only stopping by for a drink before heading to a club. I got the Not Your Moms Cosmo which was delicious. Good amount of flavor and a good balance of alcohol. Definitely want to come back to try the food.
google avatar

Andra T.

Yelp
This is such a fancy cute little place that i noticed in February because it's next to Bar Cargo where I normally go to watch sports and since then I've been a lot of times especially for the Happy Hour ( 7 days per week from 2PM to 7PM. Now in the summertime they have also table outside which it's nice if you looking for outdoor sport. The service it's very good and they are quite fast. They have the best offer for 1$/each oysters ( 2 types East coast and West coast ) they add also the chicken wings 2$ /each ,special price for wine ,beer and expresso martini.Wish that they add more options for the cocktails.
google avatar

Faheem A.

Yelp
No the best, but surely not the worse. A great aesthetic located in the River North area. The food wasn't the best but it also want the worst. We had ordered the chicken wings, oysters and tacos the best were the wings. The fried chicken tacos were horrible definitely would not order those again.. The service and establishment was not great at all. The bartender seemed to not want to wait on us. The pricing online and the pricing in the actual restaurant also caused a discrepancy. The outside signage stated that martinis were eight dollars. Once we sat down we were told that this was only for espresso martini. The inconsistency needs to be improved.
google avatar

Gyamfua G.

Yelp
Cute lil spot in the West Loop that has one of the best Happy Hours in the Loop!! The Happy Hour starts at 2:00 pm. Which was perfect because the lunch crowd has left and the dinner crowd is still at work. The ambiance was cozy and intimate. Service was amazing...fast and courteous! For Happy Hour my friend and I ordered half east coast oyster and half west coast oyster. Half dozen wings Garlic Parmesan flavored and chicken tacos. The oysters and wings were amazing, the chicken tacos could be skipped. We washed everything down with a small glass of Sangria! If you need a cute and economical spot for Happy Hour, this restaurant is perfect?

Yelp
First time here with my friend so I was excited. We were told to find our own seats but felt awkward walking around to find the best 2 person seating. I loved the interior of the place, it was dark and easy to have intimate conversations. The couches were comfy for sure. The Espresso Martini is made from actual espresso our waiter said. The marshmallow was a nice sweet touch since the martini wasn't as sweet but it was definitely strong. I think the espresso martini is good for someone who isn't trying to get sugared up but enjoys actual espresso flavor. The oysters were delicious. But the Mahi Tacos Al Pastor is not a dish I recommend. Although the tacos themselves were delicious & cute, the chips were stale & the salsa was bland. Definitely not worth the price point. On the other hand, Lobster Mini Rolls were tiny but were like flavorful bombs from the lobster butter. And the fries were fresh, but at the price point, I would've expected 3 mini rolls. Overall will be trying to come back again for happy hour & try other foods. But I am hoping our server will be more attentive to us, rather than us having to look and try to grab their attention.

Yelp
Came in to Yours Truly Oyster Bar for dinner with a good friend the other night for the first time ! The ambience is cozy, yet very classy which was nice! Their drinks were good! I had the pops spritz which was sweet and fruity and my friend had their toasted espresso (I'm not a big fan of espressos but their toasted espresso was yummy!) Oysters were great! Strong ocean taste and fresh. The Mahi Tacos Al Pastor would've been great too but the chips were cold and stale and the salsa was flavorless which is a bummer! They weren't kidding when they named the lobster minis. They're so tiny but were amazing with the butter and the French fries were crispy and crunchy too! Probably my favorite from our entire order. Our service was subpar. They weren't awful, but I wish our server was more attentive with us. We waited very long for our food for it to come to our table cold which was a bit disappointing.
google avatar

Aasiyah D.

Yelp
Drinks were good, oysters were decent. The decor is absolutely beautiful and I loved the vibe. However the cool didn't show up so we were unable to purchase anything but oysters and drinks. The server was very kind and accommodating about this and gave us a huge discount.

Yelp
I've been here 6-7 times now. Mainly around the Happy Hour. The owners are originally from CDMX, Mexico City. The vibe is cool like you'd find there! There is an Oyster Bar I frequent in Guadalajara and CDMX La Docena. This is of similar ilk and stock to that. The drinks and about half of the wine list are of good quality. They have a nice mix of Spirits (photoed) as well. Their draft beers for the past 6 months since I've been coming at Modelo and the 3 Floyd's Gumball Wheat Ale. The Modelo plays to both those who desire a light or Mexican Beer. The Gumball can easily substitute for an IPA or Ale drinker for most. Perhaps even a Blue Moon of Wheat Beer drinker. For a long time they had no social media. I suspect by design. Funny story, around 4-5 months ago I was coming up Wells and was about to pop in. I noted some Black Limo SUVs in front, but didn't think too much of it. There was a doorman. Of the Irish variety, and I was taller than him. He asked if I was here for the event? Of course I said yes. I passed through. When I got on there were f*CK ton of security agents/guards everywhere, and as I approached the bar I immediately felt VERY out of place. I turned and left. Walked across the street where 8 Chicago PD were outside station, I said, "what the f@CK was that. They said some, "something of a very high level Democrat variety". I never even looked at the full back table since I was spoked by all the security. Point being- this place was kind of underground and cool. It is a cool neighborhood spot with good service. Kind of underground like The Listening Room nearby. I'm here every month or two.

Yelp
Bar was great until I was charged $5 for a cup of water. Tap water at that. Mistake or not, definitely a problem

Yelp
Honestly didn't look at any reviews prior to coming simply searched in advance for Oyster Bars in Chicago and this one came up. I made reservations for 3pm just in case they were crowded. We took an Uber so I can't comment on parking, I didn't even pay attention, but it's on a kind of Main Street so I assume you will have to search for street parking or maybe a lot near by. Walking in I was blown away. Love love the decor, so cozy, yet sexy, trendy, yet not overly. Just perfect. The lighting was super dim and the music was poppin! If yku follow me, you know I'm a fan of bars, restaurants that play music, I just think it adds to the experience, especially when it's good music. It was more 90's R&B which was perfect for the time of day. Although we had reservations we didn't need them because there were plenty of seating at the bar which is where we prefer to sit so we can chat with the staff. We ordered oysters. They offered East coast or west. This is why I give them a 4 and not a 5. The oysters weren't very good. They were very plump and although they described them as "small" they weren't. We also ordered the chicken wings, specifically Tajin wings which is a spice. They came out heavily sauced with very sticky sauce at that. They weren't very good. So that's why I rate it a 4. I did, however, love everything else about it. Drinks were good (wine) and the music was perfect, our server was attentive and the other customers were pleasant. There were many TV's around too. College football was on so that's what many patrons were watching. Would I go back, yep but probably just for cocktails.

Yelp
Came here yesterday for happy hour. Great specials fro 2pm-7pm! Inside is decor is really cool and modern. Had some wings, truffle fries, and oysters. Wings had a nice little coating on them and good flavor. Oysters were not the greatest. Shell was very dark gray and they were kind of dry. I was talking to my chef friend and he said they probably came frozen and half shucked already which makes sense how we got them so fast too. Definitely will be back but I'll pass on the oysters.
google avatar

Alwin A.

Yelp
The service and the ambiance was the best part of the restaurant. Around 4pm they dimmed and set a romantic mood. The food wasn't the best which was to be expected from a place like this. The happy hour deal is a steal but the food is mid. I would steer clear from the garlic wings but the chicken tacos were pretty good.
google avatar

Kendall C.

Yelp
I would give ZERO stars if I could. The fact that it was Happy Hour with $1 oysters and the bar was still empty should of been the first RED FLAG. This establishment claims to be an oyster bar, however, those were the most disgusting oysters I have ever had!!! Extremely dirty oysters. They gave ketchup with the oysters and insisted it was cocktail sauce. The bar back kept bringing us random food that was never ordered so obviously we didn't want it. The bartender was constantly confused. There was confusion by all the staff. The martinis were below average. The ambiance was nice, but I would NEVER RETURN. After a $100 tab for disgusting oysters that we did not eat I will be spreading the word not to spend your money here. The bartender saw we didn't eat the oysters and never questioned it. There are many other oyster happy hour specials in the area. I would recommend Hugo's Fish Bar or Ocean Prime. People can get VERY sick from uncleaned oysters and you're taking the risk of that at Yours Truly Oyster Bar. Will not return.
google avatar

Diana M.

Yelp
Good drinks and great happy hour! I'd return for the espresso Martinis and to try other things on the menu!
google avatar

Mark B.

Yelp
As far as happy hours go, Yours Truly falls right near the top of the list of solid places. They have cheap drinks and food options that left us wanting more. Two friends and I stopped in on a Friday afternoon, specifically for their happy hour, and were delighted with everything. Naturally we kicked things off with drinks but we did not hesitate long on food. The Cauliflower Tacos, wings (big and crispy!), and oysters were all delicious and very sizable. We couldn't have been happier with all the consumables. Price should have already been covered but I'll detail the deals: $1 oysters! Can't beat it. What hasn't been covered is the staff: wonderfully attentive. My first visit to Yours Truly was a success and I cannot wait to come back!
google avatar

Bianca P.

Yelp
Listen, I'm not going to tell you that the service is good here--because it's not. But if you're not in a rush, if you don't mind the wait, it's a really nice experience. Yours, Truly has a great vibe. Beautiful decorations and dim lighting feels very chic but not too dark or too loud. It was Saturday night and not too busy. It started out slow because the Sangria that I ordered was pretty boring, but my boyfriend's cocktail was delicious. Then our appetizer showed up. The elote dip was delicious. The brussel sprouts were soft and mild, while the corn was sweet and juicy. I really recommend that dip. My sister liked her fried chicken tacos, my boyfriend enjoyed his Buffalo wings and I really liked my lobster roll minis! The food and ambiance were good enough that I would go back with friends. Just make sure you have enough time and things to talk about!

Yelp
You can't beat the happy hour deals here, that's a fact. However, I've been here 3 times now and the service has been very inconsistent. The first time here, service was great and the happy hour menu was even better. Since then, I've revisited with new friends and the service was awful. We had made a reservation but didn't get seated until 45 mins later, and it took another 20-30 minutes until we were served our drinks/food. The waitstaff were scrambling around and were a mess. Honestly the only reason I went back for a third time is because of their happy hour (2-7pm) $1 oysters, and their wings. I'd just be aware of their inconsistent service if you're dining here.

Yelp
Ambiance is very cute, chic beach vibes, however the food was underwhelming. Went in for happy hour and the food was just okay. The oysters were not cleaned well, had a lot of shell. Also very poor quality of east coast oysters, with all the topping the oysters just did not taste right, very cheap. The wings were fatty, the sauce was all butter little spicy, wouldn't even call them mild Buffalo wings it was very buttery with a pinch of pepper. The tacos were tasty but pricey for one taco. Espresso martini was a good HH deal and very delish. Would only go back for drinks, the food was not good.

Yelp
Great happy hour because it's the earliest in the city Ive seen! Starts at 2pm ends at 7pm. Be weary that certain things have a cheap price but you have to buy in multiples (chicken wings $2 but u have to buy 6 or 12, tacos $3 but u have to buy in multiple of two, oysters $1 but multiples of 12) cheap drinks and cute vibe! Love the decor. Service often times seems rushed but that's like at any place now a days.

Yelp
Disappointing happy hour. I recommended this place for some out-of-town guests, and we did not have the best experience. The bartenders were rude, unfriendly and unaccommodating. My guests commented that the bar wasn't well-staffed and the bar staff was rude. We had to wait very long for drinks and they never once came over to ask how we were doing, etc. I had wanted a draft beer that was part of the happy hour but was rudely told "we don't have any drafts" with no offer of a substitute or anything. I was embarrassed at my referral of this place. We did manage to spend over $500 and tipped well but I will not be back, nor recommend to any more guests. I've honestly never been treated so poorly in my life.

Yelp
Prompt service that got us seated right away! Old-timey ambiance with its green seats and gold finishing. Came for happy hour for 6$ sangria. They had 2$ wings but needed to order minimum of 6 wings. Sangria came with slice of orange... not horrible but did taste like boxed wine

Yelp
Came for Happy hour, it's very limited. We ordered wings, they were $2 each but it's a 6 wing minimum which wasn't stated on the menu. We also ordered the fried chicken tacos and there was barely any chicken, it was mostly veggies. Their service was mediocre at best. I would say the only nice thing about the place was that it had a happy hour that started at 2pm (even though it's not really worth it) and the aesthetic was nice. Also we wanted to order a well rum and coke and they told us they only serve top shelf rum and it would be $16...thats not really a happy hour deal

Yelp
Popped in for happy hour-- got in by the skin of our teeth. The host was on his phone, so we had to wait for him to finish his text so that kind of started things on a rocky start. We were able to order the oysters on special. They were big and meaty. I didn't care for the malt vinegar dipping because they had onions or something in it. But the cocktail sauce had a nice kick to it. We also ordered sangria, the mini lobster rolls and wings. Food was all decent and fulfilling. I tried to order the Pops Spritz because it looked really interesting-- peach caviar, Aperol & champagne with a popsicle--doesn't that sound amazing? But. They were out of popsicles. The bartender added club soda--and the other bartender said that the drink was supposed to have grapefruit not peaches. Sucks. But it inspired me to get the ingredients to try the advertised drink at home. We shall see..... The bar is loud so be prepared to speak loud. The tables looked small but comfortable. The women's bathroom is broken-so be aware that the bathroom is all-genders--but aren't they like that at home anyway? All in get there before 6:30 and get you some good oysters for the low and order the sangria to go with.

Yelp
I wouldn't recommend it. The oysters were dirty and smelled actually refused to eat some of them! The bar was empty after happy hour started 3 hours ago!!! I ordered a martini and it was made with well vodka. The drinks were nothing special. Wanted to like the place but no one was friendly or welcoming. Definitely won't be back which is unfortunate.

Yelp
Ambiance was great. The espresso martini was fantastic. Brett was an awesome bartender. We will be coming back soon!

Yelp
Decent happy hour for $1 oysters, a few other $2-3 bites, and $6-8 drinks! I will say the drinks taste as cheap as the prices you're paying though so if you want better quality, there are other (higher priced) restaurants in the area. Service can be a little slow but it's always because they can get crowded, especially as the night goes on. There's a hip ambience/darkly lit. Outdoor seating available!

Yelp
I also got the $2 wings but they were a lil undercooked. Everything else was delicious. Loved the Oysters and Sangria. Waiter was really nice.

Yelp
This place was so chill and intimately set for an early Saturday night, 7-8pm! Not too busy but a great place to chat and just unwind from the week. There was music playing not at a nice volume where the dine experience can be enjoyable. The pineapple martini was great followed up by shots. I didn't get a chance to capture a picture of the chicken tenders but I certainly enjoyed it so so much. I can't wait to come back and enjoy the happy hour specials. Thanks again Andrea for the great service--sweet sweet bar!

Yelp
Really enjoyed the happy hour! The $1 wings with the garlic bbq sauce are some of the best wings I've ever had in the city. The oysters were good as well, just really small...but they were $1 each so can't really complain. The ambience is really nice and a great spot for date night. Service was a tad slow due to what seemed like understaffing but our server was really nice. I would return for happy hour or brunch.

Yelp
Happy hour: $1 oysters are great and I love their sangria. Cauliflower taco lacked seasoning and flavor and wasn't really anything special. But their chicken taco more than compensated in flavor and taste.

Yelp
We came during the Happy Hour special and were treated to some extremely fresh and delicious oysters. The rest of the food we ordered was okay but also cheaper (couple of dollars) but if we came back we are only getting the oysters. They were shucked perfectly so not a single little shell piece and all of the oysters were meaty and tasted so fresh. The service does take a little long for the oysters so recommend coming early into the happy hour and ordering a high quantity of oysters as you settle in with drinks. The drinks were relatively inexpensive since it was a happy hour and the espresso martini was really nice.
