Trump National is a Beautiful Golf course. Plenty of free parking. A Beautiful park with Hiking trails. That go down to the beach. A great restaurant Lunch dinner. Sunday a Sea food Buffet. A great pro Shop with Beautiful clothes and Souvenirs. A Huge fire place. Great customer service. Very kind friendly staff.

Nice ambience, and the course condition was very good, well maintained. The layout also was interesting, some with ocean views. Played late afternoon, comfortable, less expensive!

Beautiful location, the views are spectacular. The club is absolutely beautiful. The room was ornate and had million dollar views of the ocean and Catalina. Came here for a business meeting. I had a hard time focusing due to the impressive view.

I've played many golf courses in California and other states in this country, when considering a balance of beauty, conditions and service.. this golf course is five stars in all categories starting with the views! If you want a down side to visiting this club than I would have to blame yourself for not being prepared for a tough course, accuracy and placement of shots are a must if your keeping score, I love this course! Its humbling and rewarding with tee boxes that are epic, greens true and fast with gorgeous ocean views. It's a must experience for mid to low handicappers, the service and food is unparalleled for a public use golf course. Bring your A game though, This course offers everything you'd want in a challenge and a fabulous place to enjoy your day on the links rivaling Pebble Beach and more challenging in my opinion.. First you get greeted with a nice club drop off which is awesome. The club house, resturaunt, bar and patio all have a beautiful view of the pacific ocean and the beer on tap is good beer and not your regular basic stuff. The golf carts were super comfy and well equipped. You don't hear one car passing by or any noises, just pure bliss. The greens are really fast and challenging but just trust your line. Sand traps are like dunes that I never seen before, it was fun to feel like a pro for a day and try and get out of those. The fairway was amazing conditions and to top it off, every tee shot, fairway shot, and putt come with an immaculate view of the ocean and course. The course was amazing and will definitely be back.

Excellent venue with a beautiful view of the ocean. So much room and wide spaces with plenty of parking. Food was great and staff were all friendly.

I came here just to try the Trump burger ($25). No membership required for entrance. No parking fee.

Great staff! Great golf course that is very well kept. Amazing views! We golfed in a tournament and were immediately impressed with the clubhouse and views. As expected, the grounds crew does a great job and everything is nicely manicured. The greens are fast and true and offer a good bit of undulation. Take note, not everything breaks to the Pacific. If you can find the right deal, come play.

With the golf course this beautiful and right off a beach , it's no wonder that people come here not only to play golf ‍! This golf course is expansive and you could definitely take your families out here for a walk. The beach may not be much but it's good enough for a picnic! I definitely found myself enjoying the views of this place. If you are the type of person who tries to walk 7,126 steps daily (helps to keep your heart healthy) but could hardly get to 2,000 steps per day, this place would help you achieve that with ease ! What's more, the parking here is free! Overall, I totally recommend this place to anyone who appreciates beauty !

This review is not for the golf course but for the park/trail and beach open to the public. I think this is a good place if you and your family need to get away from home with the kids. We live in LA, and the drive wasn't that bad. My family and my two kids were there this past weekend, and it was perfect. wasn't crowded like how it was during the pandemic. We were there for about good 3 hours before sunset, and it was so nice.

Wonderful ocean view at almost every holes. It has better golf course than Pelican Hill Golf Club&Monarch Beach Golf Links!

They need to take care of the path way behind the golf course parking lot . I have a bad back and can't bend that far over to get through it so now I'm taking the golf course cart trail to get around it . They need to trim back the trees and keep up on this area . Just cause the golfers can't see this part does not mean you don't have to take care of it

Great course, something for everyone's game. Wide fairways and challenging greens. Beautiful lay out you can see the ocean from almost every fairways and Tee-boxes and for a lot less than Pebble Beach.The Young guy in the Pro- shop could have had a better attitude but, Manny the starter is very much friendly and helpful and has been every time I have played here, and Jim the driving range attendant is top notch as well. We are from the SanFrancisco Bay Area and we try to play here at least once a year. The Food is outstanding at Trump as well, and not just Burgers and hotdogs, they have Ahi tuna, Street Tacos, Italian Sandwiches and wood fired pizzas all reasonably priced. They have a full bar and wine selections and every kind of beer you can think of and the fresh brewed ice tea is exceptional. You can see Catalina on a clear day so great views everywhere, even if you don't golf there is public access for great photos and sunsets watching.

Playing here was an experience of a lifetime! i play a lot of golf and a lot of courses and this has to be close to the very top in all aspects from the condition of the course / fairways, greens etc to the service and our amazing starter Manny (that guy is a legend) to the ocean views on every single hole. I hope to be back here soon!!

The best course I've ever played on. The scene is absolutely spectacular. The grass was maintained to perfection. 18 holes. The last hole is on a bunker and feels like you are on a special platform with the ocean views you can't beat. Highly recommend playing here.

Cafe Pacific at Trump National Golf Club is such a great property for grabbing a delicious meal. We had dinner here, and everything was amazing. We started with the oysters that were cold and delicious, especially with the sauce toppings. The claim chowder was made exactly how clam chowder should be made. The sashimi plate was simple but very well balanced with plenty to share. The melon with Prosciutto was delicious, but the melon could have been more soft and sweet. The Tomahawk steak was cooked perfectly, and the seasoning was just right. We get Tomahawks pretty often, and this Tomahawk is now at the top. The dining area is well balanced between upscale and casual with stunning views of the Pacific and Golf course. The staff was very friendly and attentive, which made our experience that much better. We can't wait to go back and do it all over again.

Beautiful scenery! The view was gorgeous and the food was AMAZING. The Clubhouse was great and the golf course was the highlight of it all. I enjoyed this visit so much and hope I can return soon.

After an unexpected issue that came up in our family, we decided to make reservations here at Trump's. I was so glad we did. Buffet-style Thanksgiving Dinner. The food was so delicious. So much food to choose from, too much. I did not know what to expect when my family made the reservations for all 16 of us. This place is so beautiful and has such an Amazing View. Our Waitress could have been more attentive, she was missing most of the time same we had to wave her down. The ones who should have been thanked are the Bussers, they were there when we needed more water or Champagne. Our Waitress was MIA. A little suggestion, switch the waitress with the bussers for a couple of days, maybe they'll improve. Overall great place to come for any occasion.

This review is based on the Cafe Pacific Restaurant and the hiking trail of Founders Park. Parking: Arriving at Trump National, you can self-park for free on the left side or, if it gets full you can park at the curb. If you're a golfer, you can park at the golfer's area and I believe it's valet only. Cafe Pacific: Check-In at the receptionist at the lobby by the fireplace. The restaurant is very nice and luxurious with beautiful decor. There is an outdoor patio and more tables outside by the golf carts. It gives a nice view outside the Pacific Ocean. The menu is somewhat limited in options. I've tried the Creekstone Angus Burger w/ Sweet Potato fries. $18 for the burger and fries and $2 add on for cheeses or caramelized onions. It tasted fresh and definitely juicy! Fries were crisp and well done. Founders Park: Open to the public, this hiking trail offers easy and difficult trails. The difficult ones are going down and back up a cliff. It can get trippy on loose dirt/sand/rocks so wear the appropriate shoes. Beautiful views by the Pacific Ocean! Be sure to bring a water bottle on your hike!

***Golf Course Review*** The course is tough, and with the hefty price tag, it keeps the new COVID HIPSTER golfers away (for now). My brother, buddies, and I purchased an UnderPar deal which is now about $175 a person. Worth it? Kinda. If you bring your A-game, it's worth it, if you're a hack, save your money, time, golf balls, and just go hike around the course instead. Course is hard, and is unforgiving. Drives must be in the middle for most of the holes, or else you're saying good bye to your golf ball. Be mindful of the tons of bunkers all over the place on the course. Course was in pretty good shape. Nice fairways and SUPER fast greens. The round also played quick, the guys behind us teeing off at 740am couldn't keep us with us. We were the 730am tee time. We couldn't keep up with the group ahead of us as well and we play quick. The service is good, from the starter to the pro shop. Nice place to play for the views of the Pacific, Catalina, Pangas, cliffs and gazillion dollar homes. A couple of cons to the course: 1 bathroom that has 1 stall to go number 2 in. Morning time isn't good, a lot of people trying to poop. Our golf cart was crappy from the start (cart 73). It wasn't driving normal and so we called the course and left the cart of hole 14. Finally got a guy out there on hole 16 to bring out another cart for us just in time to finish. Would I play again? Yeah, maybe. I'll just need to bring my A-game and not my B-game. For the price tag, I'd probably pay elsewhere though. The green fees are hefty.

Had a wonderful time last night with 12 American Patriots. The service was amazing, cocktails spot on and standard pricing I see everywhere. Had the best BLT Wedge Salad 5stars. Everyone raved about the food and it all looked amazing too. Best of all I patronized an establishment of My Favorite President

Course is in good but not great condition. Greens are not as fast as I would like. The layout is great with ocean views on every hole. It truly is a championship level course. I love the perfect amount of slope along the sides to keep the ball in play if you play the angles. The fairways are smooth and you get decent rollout. The wind condition when we teed off around 2:30p was a bit much for our liking, but the blue tees were designed fair enough where average to good golfers can carry the ravines. Since we mixed up tips and blue tees we realized that there is no way a non-pro is going to have enough carry off the tee on some holes. Headwind was just too strong. Those are the holes we moved up to the real blues. Yes, some of us were humbled when we realized our best drive was only 210y into the wind. The staff here is very accommodating. We had a couple reservations on same day and they allowed us to adjust without penalty. We called their after hours service and confirmed in the morning with head pro. The bag drop, pro shop and down to the cart guys were all professional. If you get an underpar.com voucher, you may be able to play your round for about $180 instead of their rack rate. You just need to pair up with a friend and play certain days. I wish we played earlier because of the fierce afternoon winds. Since we played on a Wednesday, we would've made good use of the voucher. There! I hope I saved you a few bucks and made your round more pleasurable. I recommend playing this course even at rack rate. I've played Pebble Beach, Kapalua and other great resort courses. This is among the top 3 even with conditions not so perfect.

It was raining but I enjoyed the "Trump burger". Excellent huge burger and actually good coffee. The building has gigantic wine collection on one wall and many many many many Trump pictures. I was there on weekday and raining so it was easy to find table. Check out the golf goods store. It has huge selection of baseball caps including "make America great again". The MAGA cap.

Overall, pretty satisfied, great check in service. Starter was friendly...He got us out a little early. Course in great shape, green we're running smooth. The cart girl didn't really come around, considering it was really hot, i would have liked to see her more then once. The turn wasn't the best , the grill ran out of grilled chicken burgers, and ended up offering me a tuna wrap that was just awful.

Beautiful property and setting with amazing ocean, Catalina and golf course views. Met girlfriends for Happy Hour. Drinks were very well made, Skinny Margaritas and Dirty Martinis. Loved the Calamari appetizer. It's a mature upscale adult setting and clientele. Lovely room although lighting was a bit bright for a happy hour.

I haven't played here for quite a while. I remember when it was Ocean Trails, and 3 holes fell into the ocean. You had to replay 3 of the holes to get in a whole 18: It was pretty lame. Fast forward to about 10 years ago when I played here last. There are 18 holes, but I still don't remember being impressed. A friend invited me here this time, so I said I should finally review this place. The course is in Rancho Palos Verdes along the water and not far from Terranea Resort. The course was in pretty good shape, and some of the holes have great views of the ocean. However, what I didn't like it was cart path only that slowed the pace of play. Usually most courses enforce this rule the day after it rains, not three days after it rains. In addition, #15 is a par 3, followed by a short, driveable par 4, followed by another par 3. The foregoing combo slows the pace of play down considerably, esp at the end of a round. Nonetheless, all of the workers are friendly & helpful. Additionally, they have a complimentary valet. You def feel like a high roller here. My friend said he paid $175/person. That price was a special, so idk if I would return if I had to pay. My country club is $99/person for guests, and it is much more conveniently located. I guess this is an okay splurge place, but def not your every day place. There are other less expensive options.

Played Golf here ... amazing views, challenging course, and well managed as we never felt rushed by the group behind us or delayed by the group in front. Everyone gets angry at Donnie but this is a great course! BTW it's friggin expensive but we got a deal :)

Non-Golf review My daughter is taking group golf lessons here. As far as that goes. it's 3/5. As far as the restaurant and club house/ course goes it's 5/5. So, image, you are in the early 90's and want amazing food, a Caesar Salad, a nice burger etc. and you get that. This place gives you that, that no nonsense Caesar salad and burger. Not over dressed in anyway, and not dripping with grease or oil. As you savor your meal you can stare off into the abyss of the Pacific ocean dreaming of your next conquest. The golf club is beautiful, and the food excellent. I like this place ALOT. I haven't played golf here.

I recently had dinner here for my mom's birthday (August 6), and what a tremendous dining experience it was! My mom had the salmon while I had the Sunday special: Prime rib with caesar salad and cheesecake dessert. My mom loved the salmon, and let me tell ya...That prime rib was something else! HUGE slab of meat...biggest slab of meat I've ever had. Tender, juicy, flavorful, succulent. For $80, I can't recommend the prime rib special enough. My birthday is coming up on Sunday, Sept 24, and I'm definitely going for the brunch. Somebody on here complained that $125 per person is too much for brunch, but I disagree. Seeing what they offer for brunch and how much I loved my first experience here, I have no doubt that I'll also love my next visit!

Celebrated my birthday with my best friend this afternoon and had an amazing time. This was our 2nd dining experience at Trump LA. We love this place. The views are spectacular. Our waitress Lorri and Miguel were incredibly sweet and provided excellent service. After brunch, we walked down to take a few photos on the bottom level. While we were taking photos, several staff members stopped and offered to help take photos of my best friend and I together. That meant a lot. The food, the service and staff are amazing and very sweet. We hear the cheeseburger and fries are Trumps favorite from his last visit to the restaurant. We plan on coming back again for that very soon

Trump National Golf Club in Palos Verdes is magnificent. The course is located in Palos Verdes which has fantastic breathtaking coastline ocean views, and throughout the course there a a number of cascading waterfalls. Luckily played twice here on a corporate invite, and lots of business agreements are done on a golf course, and Yes, I am here to confirm that fact. The restaurant on the course is very Club like, with dark wood used throughout. Continental cuisine steak and seafood menu as well as bar lounge selections of burgers sandwiches and some snacks. I've posted Tiger Woods championship win photos, because he has played this course many times along with Donald Trump prior to his presidency, and turns out both are good friends and support each other's endeavors. Both Trump and Woods are working on developing a golf course in mega rich Dubai. With that said, I am sure President Donald Trump is thrilled of Tiger Woods victory today, as it will be a positive effect on their business ventures. Next to this golf course is Terranea Resort and Spa which is a 5 star hotel and spa with ocean views and at least 3 restaurants. Worth playing a round of golf at Trump Golf and then relaxing at Terranea afterwards...definite recommend!

The course has very beautiful views for the location. The staff was very friendly and supportive when checking in. They do have premium rental clubs available. I would advise not playing after the 6pm start time for 18 holes. The course was very slow pace, and it wasn't possible to get 18 in, and with no refund at that. Overall very positive experience! Glad I got to play the course while visiting California.

I did this trail on Sunday morning with my family. Ages 33-63. I thought this hike was moderate at times, but mostly easy. Long straight paths with a few steep hills. If you plan to take a path down to the beach areas then that's when you'll hit most of those inclines. You will sweat and yes obviously you can make this trail more intense by running. I must say though, probably my favorite trail so far in this area. I felt I was able to get a little bit of everything. A good workout with nice views throughout, which made time go by faster. It was kind of a gloomy day with a little sun on Sunday. We had a slight breeze throughout our hike, which felt nice. With such stunning views you almost lost track of time.

Wow by far one of the best courses in LA. Tee boxes are in mint condition as well as fairways and greens. The view is panoramic beautiful breathtaking thank you to all the greens man who work at this facility. For sure I will return. Thank you Mr. Trump!

This is one of the most beautiful and challenging courses you will ever play! Stunning views of the pacific oceans and immaculately taken care of tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, hazards and greens. Stopped in acouple hours before my tee time to have some lunch and enjoy the view from the balcony at the club house. The place is beautifully designed and all the staff were super nice. This has become my new favorite spot to tee up! It is definitely a must play for any avid golfer if you're in the area. Well worth the price and very challenging! Can't wait to come back next week and play again!!!!!

Expensive? Sure. At least you get 18 holes of stunning views rather than the single hole at Monarch Beach for comparable price. Plays tight. You'll likely find more balls than you lose. Best course conditions around. Best bev cart girls around as well. Everyone is attentive and on their A-game and I absolutely love that!

Amazing natural landscape and amazing hiking trails to the ocean. Go here for peace. A bit steep if you're going the whole way to the shore, but it's worth every step!

Always enjoy dining in the more casual bar area. Servers are always pleasant and accommodating and the food is solid.

Top notch is all i can say. Started with the staff and how helpful they all were. The course was in great shape and the facilities were absolutely perfect. Worth every penny.

The view is PRICELESS!! With the ocean breeze and the view.... hiking/exercising is fun!! There are a few trails there. Not super challenging, saw kids could do it too. Love to go all the way down next to the water. It is so nice to get away from the busy city life and enjoy the nature. The Parking: Small parking lot at the end of La Rotunda Dr. (free)

Parking: easily found on the street Hike: mostly flat terrain. Slight inclined if you go to the shore then back up. From a scale to one and ten I saw this is a 3. Perfect for beginners. The ground is sturdy and not a lot of loose Gravel so it safer compared to other trails like Runyon canyon or Escondido trail. Scenery: beautiful. I came here mid April and there is a sea of yellow flowers. Not only that there is an amazing view of the ocean. Great place to take photos, walk, jog or run.

The golf course looks beautiful. I didn't play a round here because it was a little expensive for me. $495/round is a bit stiff but the price does vary depending on the time of day. You can probably get a twilight or super twilight for much less but you won't finish your round, etc. I did go to check out the grounds and also went to the driving range for some practice. The driving range is nice and long. There is a grass area where you can hit your drives. They did not let anyone hit irons in that area though so mats only for irons. The woman working the driving range was friendly enough and seemed to know some of the regulars. The pro shop guys were cool and they sell a lot of decent merchandise in there including clothing from top brands, hats, etc. If you play a round, you can drive your cart over to the driving range and the woman will give you a small bag of balls (~20 balls?) to warm up. I saw some ask for more balls but she refused. That's probably the policy but seems like if you're paying that much for a round, the warm up balls should be unlimited. Oh well.

Food is great but $125 for their Sunday brunch? Plus tax and tip. A little too rich for my blood even for special occasions.

Easy running trail & beautiful view! I would suggest going in the early mornings as it gets crowded. The trails can be narrow but it's beautiful. The flowers in the spring bloom very well. Parking is not bad if you go early. We went on a Saturday at 8-9 AM. Friendly people around as well. As far as attire, I would say wear long comfy pants/leggings & a light windbreaker... The hiking goes downhill first, then goes uphill, so be prepared. The beach is close to the the area & you can see Catalina island on a clear day. Would recommend for an easy hike!

Fantastic view!!!! The food is great and the property is amazing looking over the Pacific Ocean to Catalina Island!!! "Red" or "Blue" I highly recommend this hidden gem...you won't be disappointed!
