WORST Chinese food ever. The chicken was GRAY. The noodles were hard. The “white rice” was GRAY and crunchy. The crab Rangoon was old with a weird powder. We immediately called to have the delivery driver take the food back. Or I offered to bring it back. They said to throw it away and they’d give us a refund. NO REFUND WAS PROVIDED. SAVE YOUR MONEY and go somewhere else. Disgusting, never again.

I agree with most the reviews. I've lived in the neighborhood since 2010 and have been eating here just as long. My husband and I ordered tonight. And there is no way it's the same owners. Nothing was spicy everything came to us cold. And it was just terrible. Half the portions for the same high price. I won't be eating here anymore time to find a new Chinese place. Do not eat here. Edit: called to talk to them. And the lady kept offering me a coupon after spending almost a 100$ and wanting a refund and then told me some guy named Jason would text me. It's an absolute scam. DO NOT I MEAN DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS.

We have been going for years and it must be new owners because it's not the same. We ordered a happy family and pork double pan fried noodles. The noodles are amazing or used to be. The noodle dish seemed old. The happy family meat didn't taste right. Like it had a sour flavor and the beef tasted like it was defrosted in the microwave and left in too long. Veggies and rice were good, but didn't hit the spot and I still have an after taste. I also waited in the lobby for 5 minutes before I yelled, hello? A minute later someone showed up, but I could have easily walked out with my food sitting on the counter for that long and no one called back to me, "will be right with you". This place does not care any more. 😞

We have been going here for years, but not any more. I think there are new owners. The portions are now half the size and the prices are still high. The hot tea tasted like dish water. The only thing that was good was the soup at least that size didn't change.

This is a classic restaurant here in the Springs. They've been around for a long time now and for good reason. Even though they have changed their staff a couple of times, perhaps even management, they have managed to be consistent with their service, food, and prices. So, if you're the kind of person that doesn't like surprises and loves consistency, this is your safe spot for Chinese food. I was happy to see that, recently, they have included Thai food in their menu. Staff is always friendly, food is good, prices are more than reasonable, and it's a pretty decent ambiance. Overall, great place.

The service was very friendly. The food was very good, and the atmosphere was great. I got the orange flavored chicken and my partner got sesame chicken. Both were cooked very well. My only complaint was the crab rangoon that came with our plates. The cream cheese filling was dried out and likely not very fresh. Overall would go again and try something new.

Watered down sauces… Dry rice…. Soggy and poorly made Sweet Sour Chicken. Had more dough than chicken. The beef in the Beef and Broccoli was even cooked good. These are Asian people and their Egg Drop Soup was the worst I’ve ever had.

Absolutely the worst Chinese food we have ever had.. if you have any part in this business you should be completely embarrassed and fined/sued for serving inedible food. Day old Chicken, crunchy Rice, dry nasty noodles.. go anywhere else. I wouldn’t dare feed this garbage to my family so it immediately went into the trash where it belongs. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

This is my go to Chinese place. I do takeout from here, mostly. I never have had any complaints. The food is always good, hot and is as expected. Portion sizes are ok. The people that work there are nice too. Overall it's good, consistent Chinese food

Used to be great, not so much anymore. Maybe new owners since they're now open Monday's??? Ordered two combination dinners with hot and sour soup. Came home and received two large sizes of sweet and sour sauce??? No soup. Very strange. Food wasn't fresh and was all very sweet. Will go to Fuji bistro across the street from here on.

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in town. Great variety, reasonable priced, large portions and friendly staff. Large menu to choose from. I only wish they offered more authentic plates as everything is for the American pallet. Overall very good if your wanting good. Honest food in the area.

I tried the sesame chicken (only four pieces had sesame seeds on it), the Tsing chicken, the drunken noodles, and the fried rice. The chicken was crispy. If you have ever had covid and lost your sense of taste, this food will feel all too familiar. From the fried rice, to the chicken, and lastly the drunken noodles, everything tastes bland. Not bad, but not good either. The best thing about the meal is the quantity of food that comes with an order. I would recommend Panda Express before spending your money on this overpriced, under seasoned, "food".

My wife and I came to Tsing Tao for lunch because I was craving Chinese food yesterday. I haven't been here in some time because their portions have gotten smaller. This visit, however, the portions of my shrimp fried rice were large and I was actually able to take some home for today's lunch. The shrimp were really good too. The waitress was on top of things and helped make the visit really good for us. My wife and I were really satisfied on this visit.

The food and service are exceptional. The variety of food is exceptional. Very tastyyyyy!!!!!

Our favorite asian restaurant! We have ordered delivery as well as dined in. Delivery: The food is always hot and fresh and comes quickly. Serving sizes are huge. We served three people with one dinner sized order of Sesame Chicken and large egg drop soup. Their breading is crispy and the sesame sauce is so good. Yummy egg rolls and donuts too! Dine-in: Cute little restaurant with comfy seating. The service is great, friendly, fast. Love the variety of menu items and they came out quickly. I tried the Panang Curry and it was wonderful! Also ordered the Sesame chicken, its our favorite.

Awesome fried Thai rice , the ambience was good and people were very polite, definitely will go back, they are not open on Memorial Day :)

I was craving shrimp lo mein and this may be the worst lo mein I've ever had, the noodles were gummy and the flavor was awful. I called to see if I could get something else instead and the girl on the phone says the manager isn't there and rushes me off the phone. The staff was nice but I'm not happy with how they handled this situation and I definitely will not be back.

This was the best Chinese food we've had in a very long time! We ordered the Chicken Lo Mein, Cashew Chicken, and Sesame Chicken and it was all so good and wasn't greasy. Delivery was also really fast - we got it 30 minutes faster than estimated. They also throw in free egg rolls or wontons for orders over a certain amount!

I am very picky about my sesame chicken and Tsing Tao makes it my very favorite way!! It's crispy and saucy and I love it! This is my favorite place when I treat myself to my favorite kind of Sesame chicken!

I really like Tsing Tao House. There food is very good and I'm very impressed with their pricing, which is more reasonable than a lot of other restaurants. I'm a particular fan of the Chow Fun, General Tso's chicken and Orange Chicken.

Today I decided to get some comfort food for the horrible couple of days I had. Decided to get it delivered so I didn't have to drive while I have family over discussing funeral arrangement for someone who recently passed away. My food was supposed to be delivered by 6:13pm I didn't receive it until 40 mins after the supposed delivery time. I called the store got the run around manager never called me back. I WILL not order from this place again since they clearly don't care about the customers or making their delivery times. Do better

They double charged me on an order. I ordered online and something weird happened. They charged my wife again when she picked up the order. Somehow they convinced the bank that they are right, so we paid $1 is for the two of us for a typical dinner. It's interesting they convinced the bank of anything, because they barely speak any English when we try to communicate with them. Interesting. The food is ok, but not worth double. So beware. There are many, may other places around that do as well or better.

This had been our GoTo restaurant for Chinese take out for years until it changed hands awhile back. The prices are too high for the current quality and the three times in the past year that we've tried it there has always been something missing from the order. We've given up on them. Looking for a good oriental place near Woodman and Rangewood.

Best Kung Pao Chicken! It's not only sweet but has a pleasant vinegar sour to it. I've eaten at many Chinese Restaurants, but this is my favorite. Sweet and sour soup is full of umami. Mondays are sad days for me because they are closed on Mondays. I almost forgot, service is great.

Food is good we over order with 2 meals each and have plenty for leftovers the next day. ... easy to order and pick up. Our go to for Chinese takeout

This used to be the best Chinese food in town. I'm not sure if they have new cooks or new owners or what. For delivery now items like egg rolls arrive soft or soggy, placed in a small paper bag. Packaged fried foods like house style Kung Pao chicken are sauced and packed in a plastic container. By the time the food is delivered it's starting to get super soft and gross. It's time to find a new place to Chinese Food. It's an even worse deal now that food prices are sky high.

My wife and I are on the search for the best Chinese food within a small radius from our house, Tsing Tao House isn't it. We had two lunch specials, Chicken Lo Mein and Sesame Chicken. Both were the typical greasy "Chinese" that you can find all over Colorado Springs. It is an easy decision for me - I have no need to go back.

We got some takeout a few days back. The egg rolls were really good and paired well with the sauce and I really enjoyed the hot and sour soup. I had a beef/veggie dish with some rice (forgot the name of the meal) and it was decent. We also got General Tso, but it had a different flavor than that dish typically tastes when I have it. It wasn't bad and the chili peppers had some good kick, but it just wasn't what I expected.

My husband and I went to this restaurant tonight and was not pleased to say the least. We ordered drinks and my husband got his beer. I ordered Shrimp with Lobster sauce I was still waiting for my drink for 15 minutes. They brought out the food and on top of my shrimp was a black type bug. We called the waitress over and she had my drink. I showed her the bug she said sorry have your drink, of course I didn't drink it. We said goodbye and will never go back.

I've been going to Tsing Tao since I was a kid, and it's never been anything short of the best. The staff is friendly and really efficient, the food is absolutely the best, and they always fill your portions up to the brim. It's an amazing bang for your buck. I never order Chinese food from anywhere else.

I have been a frequent customer of Tsing Tao House for nearly 20 years. The service has always been excellent and the food is delicious. Their consistency is incredible. I have taken many family and friends here and will continue to do so! (The orange chicken is the real deal)

Tried this place for egg foo yung. I Was wary because of varied reviews. Very clean, good service. Dish was ok, but not like back in New England. Good Egg foo yung is tough to find in the springs.

Love this place! Always fresh, warm food! Professional and clean! Even how they bag their food for delivery is always careful and organized. We ordered 50.00 in food and they offered us 4 free egg rolls! I know not such a big deal but when you love a good egg roll it's something to be excited about! We will always come back!

2 stars. One for the friendly smiles. The other star is for the food. This joint went downhill a long time ago. I keep coming back from time to time to feed my own nostalgia. Today may have been my last go. Cute smiles be damned. Simply, half orders of entrees charged at full price will ruin your business. People aren't stupid twice. Beware of this place now. Sadly, they are not what they used to be. As a caveat I will say that if they could go back to the days when their cost of goods didn't affect their business, they would. Welcome to the new norm. Hopefully it changes soon.

We ordered sesame beef and sesame chicken. Both were over cooked and tough. We ordered early in the evening and it still wasn't fresh. Very disappointing.

Do not eat here. My husband got food poisoning from the broccoli beef. When I called to talk to them about it, the man I spoke to asked if he was dead and then hung up on me.

Best take out/delivery place for Chinese food!! It is hard enough as it is to get authentic Chinese, but this place not only provide good flavor but also good quality. Food is Always delivered hot and on time, they never get our order wrong. They give free spring rolls and soup with their lunch orders. This place is also much affordable compared to nearby Chinese restaurants. We tried multiple places, this is the place we go to when we're craving Chinese

Eh. I have had way better, and way worse Chinese food at other establishments. While this place was quick with the order and everything nice and hot, I wasn't impressed with the food. We ordered crab cheese wontons, white rice, fried rice, sweet & sour chicken, pork lo mein, general tso's chicken and the broccoli chicken dinner. The fried rice and lo mein were good. I don't eat the wontons or white rice, but I was told they were "okay" by the other diners in my group. The sweet and sour chicken wasn't up to par for me. The chicken was pretty dry and over cooked. General Tso's chicken is usually my favorite dish at a Chinese restaurant. This place surely cannot make it correctly. There was no spice to the flavor at all and the chicken was super soggy. The broccoli chicken my father ate was good he stated. The portion size for dinner were average. The general tso's though.. it was crammed into a container the size you'd have rice in. For the sizes, I'd say the prices were a little high. Not sure if I personally would order from here again, but we don't live in the area..our family does.

This is my go to place in the Springs. They have such a nice lunch special and the service is quick.

still waiting for food called to check in order an hour after I had called it in the gentleman told me the driver had left and would be to me shortly 20 minutes later I called and asked the status of my order and the guy said he was in the area and would be there shortly - that was 10 minutes ago will not be going there again and unless you want to do your own pickup - suggest you pick another place awful

Hot and Sour soup has a flavorful kick to it. Veggie fried rice has just the right amount of veggies. Pad tai is wonderful. Take-out service is only about 20 minutes = great.

This is a terrible place and I will never order there again in the last three weeks they have screwed up on the order and not willing to make the correction today our company ordered lunch from them again and guess what our order was wrong and to top it off I found a metal string in my sesame chicken!!!! I can't even call them because they already took our money and they just don't care!

I don't think that was chicken I ate. Honestly. There was something about the texture and the chicken meat flesh just felt 'different'. I don't know how else to say it. And I would say the same thing if this was an Italian or Brazilian restaurant. I don't have anything personal against these guys and I've only ordered once, but I can guarantee you that I don't believe I ate "chicken" and it was some different type of meat. Maybe I am wrong, but if there was some way to prove this or if someone who's reading this is a butcher or a chef, maybe they can prove it. But I'm just saying what I am feeling after eating from this place. Nothing racist. Just honest opinion.

A real sleeper. Nestled into a strip mall in the King Soopers parking lot you don't see it unless you are looking for it. Very tasty and good portions. Eaten there three times and consistently good. Food is not over salted and they are never terribly busy. Pickup, delivery, dine in ... friendly staff and easy parking.

Ate lunch at the restaurant location. My entree was oily, bland, no flavor, it was supposed to be a "spicy dish" . The soup was good but it was barely warm not hot. The music even sucked. Who is running this place? Are they on vacation? Someone tell the cook a chili pepper next to an entree means it's supposed to be spicy to go to dollar tree right across from their location and get some spices - and add some flavor to their food and keep the soup hot. I may be back because they are close to my house but if I get that same tasteless "spicy entree" it will be the last time I go there.

the food is alright the wait no matter what is always crazy there's like 5 people in here and I called in an order I've been waiting an extra 20 minutes at-least. there's a lot better places in the area

We have been doing takeout from this place. We normally order three lunch combos so we noticed that the price today was a lot higher. After looking and comparing their online menu and the paper menu that we have we concluded that they had charged us for two dinner combos and one lunch combo. We ordered lunch combos during lunch time, specifically 1:32pm. My husband called the restaurant and was told that we had received dinner combos because there was no specification of lunch combos. How is it that when we ordered lunch combos during lunch time they automatically charge for dinner? Mind you we have been doing takeout from here regularly and order lunch combos and have received the same amount of food as we did today but the lady insisted that we received more food today. Needless to say we will not be ordering from here. Double check your receipt if you eat here.

I used to love Tsing Tao but their quality has really declined. I order three entrees and none were up to usual standards. The chicken tasted bad in Lo Mein and Cashew Chicken. The Sesame Chicken was severely over cooked and the sauce was more like Buffalo sauce than Sesame chicken sauce. we were all really disappointed.

Tsing Tao used to be our go to for Chinese food because its local, and used to be really good food. Unfortunately, the last 2 or 3 times I have ordered take out / delivery, it is just horrible, and a complete waste of hard earned money. I ordered Garlic pork, side of hot and sour, and egg drop soups, fried dumplings, and 2 orders of egg rolls. Not one item was even remotely good. The hot and sour was intolerable, egg rolls tasted sour, and the dumplings were just blah and stale like old frozen food. It makes me very sad in that, it seems nobody can seem to keep their restaurant food quality up, and we are running out of good local (non-chain) food here in Colorado Springs.

I have been coming here for years. The lunch combo is where it is at. I love their Chicken in Garlic sauce. They are very accommodating to special requests as I get it without green peppers. The staff is very friendly and the place is clean.

Hello fellow diners and gastronomes everywhere! Since the wife was feeling down (with sinus infection) I thought dinner from TsingTao might be the picker-upper she needed. My logic is simple: the excellent flavors associated with her usual choices (Happy Family with Hot & Sour Soup) would wake up her tastebuds and motivate all those white blood cells to cure what ailed her. It is my observation she might be on her way. I had the 3-meat Kung Pao also with Hot & Sour Soup...MARVELOUS!!! I did not mind the change from Combo Egg Foo Yung. Keep up the great work!

This is some of the best chinese food I've ever had. The Kung Pao chicken was AMAZING! Spicy just like it should be! My husband enjoyed the Sesame Chicken. Authentic and delish! Try it for yourself!

So my mom and I aren't huge on complaining. Tonight something had happened that I've never had happen before. I ordered from Tsing Tao house. The food got here. The order was fine, although when I grabbed the food he told me that I didn't tip, which I did the receipt just didn't show it. So therefore he asked for an additional tip which was given. So I guess my question is. Is this what the new normal is? So I guess if your going to order go pick it up or find somewhere else to have food delivered.

really friendly staff and the service was great. Had the Beef Fried Rice cook to perfection. LOVE IT!! Will definitely be back!!
