Relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious. We tried a few things and our favourite was the Vegetarian Rice Flour Rolls.. yummy. We also had Vegies Bun and a Plain Steamed Bun .. also tasty. Steamed Beef Balls and Steamed Pork with Mushroom Dumplings.. all good. Will be going there again for sure.

Absolutely delicious and great value dim sum. This place is busy even during off peak hours and I can see why. A large, covered open space and lovely staff made for a very relaxed dining experience. There's a lot on the menu and each of my dim sum was delicious. Notable were the soup in the xiao long bao which was light and herby, the steamed beef ball, very flavoursome and the fried gyoza. When you factor quality, taste and cost is excellent value.

There were a lot of people at the shop and we had to wait around 10 minutes to get a seat. In contrast to the number of people waiting, the food wasn’t very good. The food wasn’t bad but I don’t think it warrants the number of people waiting in front. The dumpling wraps were too thick so you get full quite quickly and the seasonings were just ok. The dumplings also sometimes stuck to the parchment paper in the basket so it is quite annoying to get it out. It also doesn’t help that the shop doesn’t have A/C so it could get quite hot and the smell from the car exhausts on the nearby road doesn’t make it any better. The staffs, however, were pretty nice.

OG dim sum restaurant. I am GLAD they moved from the original location. Now they have a legitimate parking space across the street. No comments on the taste cuz they never missed. Now they’re serving porridge. Small bowl, good price. Must order: fried sticky rice with pork filling & taro fried. Drools. Can skip: chicken feet and spareribs.

Sheltered but open air seating. Order your foods and drinks by filling dim sum order form. Unlike traditional Chinese tea dining elsewhere, most diners choose to have iced drinks but not hot Chinese tea here. I recommend the rice congee, served with a small plate of side dishes. The congee is smooth and thick. I like it. “Sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves “ tasted good and with lots of stuffing. Recommended too. The skins of both “Sticky rice steamed bun” and “Xiao Long Bao” are too thick but they both tasted okay. “Chiu Chow Dumplings” are not my cup of tea. So different from those I have eaten for many years elsewhere. In terms of both taste and stuffing.

We came to Tuang Dim Sum specifically to enjoy some authentic dim sum, and it was definitely worth the trip. The food was incredibly tasty, and the dishes we ordered were prepared and served quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. The ordering process is straightforward. You simply mark the dishes you want on a paper menu, making it easy to choose. For those who don’t speak or read Thai, there is a laminated sheet with pictures of the different types of dim sum, which is really helpful. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of dim sum offered. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious and affordable dim sum!

Tuang Dim Sum on Charoen Krung Road is a fantastic spot for dim sum lovers. The food is freshly made, packed with flavor, and comes at an affordable price. The menu offers a great variety, but some must-try dishes include the shrimp dumplings (har gow), rice noodle rolls with shrimp, and the pork ribs with black bean sauce. The custard buns are a perfect way to end your meal. Highly recommended for a delicious and authentic dim sum experience in Bangkok

My go to breakfast place and love all the dimsum. Always order congee, egg custard sticky rice, steamed seaweed and shrimp roll, and dumplings
