"Tucci’s italian sub has a devoted following, and there’s plenty about it that we enjoy. On this particular tasting, it was a little heavy on the ham, and the bread didn’t seem super fresh. It's the type of sandwich we’d toss in a bag for a day at the pool or for a work lunch, but not one worth any sort of detour. We prefer Tucci's turkey sub." - nicolai mccrary

The full-size sandwiches are generous, so consider ordering a half unless you plan to have a second meal. Both South Austin locations offer indoor seating and easy online ordering. "Tucci’s feels like it was airlifted from a busy street corner in New England and dropped into a South Austin strip mall between a tax office and a Gatti’s Pizza. It’s one of our favorite spots for deli staples, like a classic italian or turkey sub. "It’s rare to get excited about a turkey sandwich, which tends to be the safe and healthy option on any menu. But at Tucci’s, it’s the highlight.
