"Clever lighting, dark wood and shades of red lend this modern Chinese restaurant a slick, stylish feel. Amidst traditional recipes, novel dishes also feature on the menu. Either way, the food is always meticulously plated. Don’t miss the fish bone and fish maw soup, double-boiled with chicken and pork for six hours. Chilli crab served in a casserole boasts firm, flavoursome meat. Order deep-fried buns to mop up the knockout sauce." - Michelin Inspector

Had dinner at Tong Lok Heen during our Sentosa staycation. The food was amazing — highlights were the cereal butter prawns, sweet & sour pork, and seafood fried rice with sakura ebi. Great Chinese fine dining experience. Would love to come back! Our only regret was not being able to order the roast duck and roast meat, as they were already sold out before 6pm.

Google
Chinese restaurant with very delicious food. There are many types. Easy to order via tablet that can see the appearance of the food before. Roast duck is delicious. I recommend ordering with cherry tomato. Crispy pork is also well done. Not greasy but crispy and delicious. Suitable for many people because the dishes are large.

No queue on weekday dinner. $112 for 3 mains and a tofu with $6 off $60 min spend. Good for 3 adults and 2 kids. Tasty, with wok hei hor fun. Love the tofu spinach and the Pao fan broth

My third time here and I am still impressed. My 1st 2 times was years back. Surprisingly, this time round, the portion is bigger and quality matches the price. They were understaffed, yet each staff were amicable and tried to be as attentive as ever. I'm impressed with the efforts of this business.

Went with my family. We had a great experience. Food is cooked well and delicious. It was too my family liking!! Not too salty or oily. Portion was just right too!! Staff was quick and helpful too. My recommendation is the boston lobster with garlic. It was well seasoned and cooked. The lobster was fresh as well. Would bring my friends here the next time.

Google
Well deserving of their Michelin mention, food was great. We ordered the set for simplicity’s sake and surprisingly, all dishes were well done. The baked paper crab, steamed lobster were unique and pretty well done. Loved the ee fu Mian. Claypot fish? Nice. We added a grilled pork neck. Wow. Duck was superb and tasty. I would definitely come back

All the dishes were extremely salty, even though we had specifically requested less salt. They tasted very bad and were overpriced. Definitely not worth the money. Won’t be coming back to this restaurant again. The Google review is overrated.

I recently visited Tunglok and ordered the $188++ set meal and their popular fish maw soup. The White Pepper Crab was fresh, meaty, and cooked perfectly. What really made it shine was the white pepper sauce. Aromatic, punchy, and just the right level without overpowering it.

Yelp
(Overall: B) - Overall, I was pretty happy with the Cantonese offerings here. The staff were fast and kind, and the atmosphere is peaceful and calming with lots of space for comfort. However, given that the restaurant is on the Michelin Guide, I think there is room for better technical execution and presentation of the food. (Baked Oyster: B) - These baked oysters are giant and just as good as those in China. There is an abundance of garlic and the vermicelli combination is a classic that works well. The plating was a bit sloppy and the oysters were a bit expensive but otherwise a well executed dish. (Crab Fried Rice: B) - This crab fried rice is filled with an incredible amount of crab meat without any lingering shells. I think the dish is calling for some fresh vegetable component that it is missing though. (Garlic Gai Lan: C) - This is a classic Cantonese style Chinese Broccoli that is borderline tender. I felt that there was room for elevation with the garlic, but is nevertheless not a bad dish. -- Food: E Presentation: E Price: E Atmosphere: +1 Service: +1 Menu: +1 Overall: +3 B Insta/Beli: @amei_eats

Yelp
Came here with some friends for dinner on Saturday night. We ordered the Triumph Menu. It was a pretty pricey menu and hence we had pretty high standards. Service and ambience here is excellent. The presentation was delightful too. Unfortunately, the dishes were not great. Pan-fried Hokkaido Scallops served with Parsley, Ginger and Spring Onions Sauce - Scallops were overcooked, especially at the sides. It could have been better with 20 seconds less searing on each side. Gordon Ramsay would definitely have rejected it. Peking Duck - The duck was okay, but the pancake skin was a little too large as the duck skin slices were pretty small. Hence, there is reduced satisfaction from the crunch due to excessive pancake skin. Braised Superior Shark's Fin with freshly-peeled crab meat in Noble 'Tanfu' style Broth - To be honest, I'm pretty against Shark's Fin but since this dish was served, I gave it a try (or it would have gone to waste... I know I know, horrible!!). Anyway, the broth was definitely very good, thick and savory, though slightly too salty. Steamed Catch of the Day with Sweet Preserved Vegetables - Fish was overcooked :( I do like the yam puree lining the plate though. Roasted Beef Ribs with Homemade Sauce - Once again, beef was overcooked :( Would have done better if it wasnt well-done. Poached Udon Noodles with King Prawns - Soup was great. Prawn was fresh. Good dish, but we were too stuffed by this time to enjoy. Coconut Jelly topped with Crispy Forbidden Rice and Coconut Ice-cream - Best dish of the night. Highly recommended. The ingredients served were definitely high quality. Unfortunately, the cooking was subpar :( If I came back here again, the dessert would probably be the only dish I'd order.

Yelp
Dine here for my BF's birthday lunch and we were not disappointed. The food is great and the service is good. The food are reasonably priced. Definitely worth it.
