"Brand new San Francisco player Turquaz is the only place in the city for $130 Anatolian feasts, stuffed with seafood and meats meant for four. It opened in spring 2025 with a full coffee bar with phyllo-loaded pastries, to boot. Order one of the lamb plates." - Dianne de Guzman

Absolutely loved my experience at Turquaz! The food here is full of flavor and beautifully presented. I tried their pistachio kebab the meat was juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. Also mix kebab platter the meat pie it was so delicious! Coming to the baklava was fresh and flaky, and I highly recommend the milk baklava if you’re in the mood for something a little richer and creamier. For dessert, the San Sebastian cheesecake was a standout super smooth and not overly sweet. I paired it with a pistachio latte (so unique and delicious!) and a traditional Turkish tea that tied the whole meal together nicely. The ambiance is cozy and thoughtfully decorated it felt warm and inviting from the moment I walked in. The staff were friendly and helpful in guiding us through the menu. If you’re looking for authentic Turkish flavors with a relaxing atmosphere, Turquaz is definitely worth a visit!

Google
I can say that it is the best Turkish restaurant you can find in San Francisco, or even in the western United States. I have not had such a good meal recently. Food, kebabs, desserts, cookies.. I couldn't decide which one to try.. The kids loved them all. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, the staff is attentive. Thank you very much. It is worth coming back from Germany to eat again 🙂😍

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was professional. The ambiance is wonderful—perfect for large groups or business meetings. There’s truly something for everyone here. I don’t think any other restaurant in the Bay Area can match the quality of this Mediterranean cuisine—definitely the best spot in San Francisco! Be sure to try the desserts, especially the baklava, which comes in a variety of unique styles. And don’t miss out on the unforgettable Turkish tea experience. This is hands down the best place to hang out with your besties and crew!

Google
Welcoming SOMA's newest resident, a Turkish bakery and restaurant. Stopped here to get some work done grabbed a caramel latte and one of their feta cheese pastries. Inside aesthetic is white and blue, customer service is great, and the pastry and coffee was delicious. I found it a perfect place to get work done with the light jazz music playing in the back. Their sweet pastry section looks incredible, and will definitely have to be back to their food and sweets. You can also get the famous Dubai chocolate here, cheers!

Google
Absolutely amazing experience! This is hands down one of the best authentic Turkish restaurants in San Francisco. I tried the kavurma, güveç, a variety of mezes, yayık ayran, and döner — every single dish was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The baklava was a standout — made fresh daily, which is rare to find in the Bay Area, and it was incredibly delicious. You can really taste the authenticity and care in every bite. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the ambiance felt just like a cozy spot in Türkiye. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Happy to get such a beautiful and delicious Middle Eastern spot in SOMA. The restaurant is spacious and elegant. I tried only sweet part of their menu and can definitely recommend their baklava and chocolate dessert. My husband was also happy with his chicken wrap. The personnel was very nice and fast. Looking forward to trying more of their baked goods

Google
This Turkish kebab restaurant was very good. The meat was well-cooked and flavorful, especially the lamb and chicken kebabs. The rice and salad on the side were fresh. The bread was warm and soft. Service was friendly and fast. The place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. I would go again.

Google
I had an amazing dining experience at this authentic Turkish restaurant in San Francisco, which exudes an upscale ambiance and refined dining experience. I visited with a group of friends and was thoroughly impressed by the freshness and quality of every dish. The Turkish simit was perfectly crisp on the outside yet soft and satisfying on the inside, while the baklava was an absolute delight—sweet, rich, and beautifully presented. Every item on the menu showcased the true flavors of Turkey, elevated by a modern twist in an elegant setting. The refined atmosphere, combined with top-notch service, made our evening truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an upscale and authentic Turkish culinary experience in the city!

Yelp
Everything about this please is amazing. Ambiance clean, cute and super welcoming. Service, great, everyone is so friendly and FOOD, delicious and high quality. Don't feel heavy and super good prices. I have been here 2 times this week.

Yelp
The all kebap are great, delicious and yummy. The service is great as well. We would like to come again, again and again.

Yelp
I was so excited to try Turquaz Restaurant because I had heard the food tastes just like it does in Turkey and it truly reminded me of home!! I went with my husband, and everything we ordered was amazing. The lahmacun was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the Adana kebab was juicy and delicious. I really enjoyed it, though next time I'd prefer it without the pistachios, just as a personal taste. It truly felt like I was eating back home in Turkey. We also tried the lamb shawarma with bulgur pilaf, and it was incredible. I honestly haven't had food that tasted this authentic in a very long time. For dessert we had baklava and Turkish coffee. The baklava was perfectly sweet and flaky, and the coffee was rich and strong, just the way it should be. The ambiance was also wonderful, I especially loved the color matching and decor. It felt cozy, warm, and thoughtfully designed. The food was so good, we completely forgot to take any photos until we were done eating!!! I highly recommend Turquaz to anyone craving real Turkish cuisine. We'll definitely be coming back!!!

Yelp
I live right by this restaurant and can't believe I waited this long to try it! Turquaz is in Soma, which isn't the nicest part of town, but the restaurant itself is nice and inviting once you get inside. The staff were also friendly & helpful in making food decisions. I ordered the chicken kebab plate and also tried some of the doner wrap. Both were freshly made and full of amazing flavors, I especially liked the wrap. There are so many choices of pastries, and I ended up trying the sutlac rice pudding and the malaga. I thought both were good, but not particularly my taste. I definitely want to try more of the options next time I stop by. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Turquaz SF is a relatively new addition to the SoMa food scene. It's biggest draw is that the space is vast and beautiful. It operates as both a dining establishment and cafe, with savory offerings alongside desserts and caffeinated beverages. I found the food to be satisfactory, but not exceptional. I think the space has enough appeal on its own to warrant a visit, but be prepared to pay steep prices for the food. A plate, coffee, and baklava ran me $40 after tip! Adana Plate: The adana kebab was much fattier of a cut than I'm used to. However, thats not a bad thing. The kebab was succulent and juicy. Although, I found the spices lacking. I also found the accompaniments disappointing. The pita was thin and plain, the grilled tomatoe and pepper were good, but far too little, and the salad was far too sharp. Baklava: Incredibly dry. A slog to eat. I wouldn't have been able to finish it without the cappuccino (which was just decent).

Yelp
Great service and help from cashier. The cheesecake with the warm chocolate sauce was great ,a bit pricy at $14 ,but good for a once in a blue moon treat. Great interior design and pastry selection.

Yelp
Solid, yummy Mediterranean spot in San Francisco! We went on a weekend night and the place had a lot of seating. The restaurant is huge! I believe it's a café in the day and a restaurant at night which is a pretty cool concept! Food wise it was solid! Nothing too surprising. The dessert is interesting! It is a little bit on the expensive side. Our dinner with three items averaged around $100 total with tax and tips.

Yelp
I was in the area with a friend and Turquaz was one of the few options within walking distance. The Meat Bowl was reasonably priced for SF and had a generous serving of protein. It's served with a dressed salad and your choice of carb. The meat was on the dryer side of charred and could've been a bit more tender. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. I think the meat could've been more seasoned but it was fine the way it was.

Yelp
This is a great place to have in SoMa where so many things have been getting closed. The building itself is super sleek, I really like how they've done the interior, and I was surprised to see how much space they had inside! They were pretty busy when I went, but I appreciated how accomodating they were. I have a couple of food allergies, so I had to ask for a substitution, but they handled it without issue. The staff was very attentive and friendly! As for the food. 10/10. The salmon skin was crispy and seasoned perfectly. The bulgur was delicious and the red sauce (harissa?/zhoug?) was awesome with everything. Definitely going to become one of the regular spots. Gonna have to work my way through the menu!
google avatar

Yelp
Super cute space in a somewhat sketch neighborhood. I'm actually really glad they opened on this street corner, it livened up the street. I ordered the salmon bowl and it was really good. I also ordered the tiramisu and classic pistachio while waiting for my food and it was pretty good. I would come back for the really cute vibes and friendly staff.

Yelp
Well decorated cafe with an extensive menu and lots of seating! Keep in mind this is a cafe where you have to may in the front when you walk in or scan a QR code at the table, not your typical service restaurant. I had a falafel wrap and it was really good, my friend had the falafel bowl which had a generous portion and my other friend had the pistachio kabob. We really liked the food! There are also a lot of dessert and coffee options. I recommend this place if you're craving Turkish food!
google avatar

Yelp
Located in a sketch area but a well decorated spacious space once inside. We tried the kebab platter which was good. The stand outs was the pistachio latte and desserts though. Still thinking about that Malaga... would love to come back and try their assortment of baklavas.

Yelp
Turquaz is the definition of a hidden gem. Tucked away on Mission Street, I would have never known about this place had I not walked by. It's beautiful inside with a bright Mediterranean interior and shiny checkered floors, easily the most aesthetically pleasing cafe I've visited in San Francisco. I ordered the falafel, pogaça, and pistachio baklava. For some unknown reason, the cafe was almost empty and I had pretty much the whole place to myself. The food came out in less than ten minutes and arrived with pretty blue and white checkered napkins on colorfully designed porcelain plates. The mozzarella pogaça was good, but not particularly flavorful. It's very similar to a pierogi and has a similar consistency and taste. The pistachio baklava was delicious, not too sweet and filled to the brim with thin layers of pistachio. My favorite thing about them was the thin layers of pastry that cracked immediately upon cutting the baklava in half. Finally, the falafel was served with a kind of yogurt sauce on the side. Unlike so many places I've been, the falafel is refreshingly moist and packed with tomatoes and lettuce. The only small thing I wish was a side of spicy sauce and some more pickled vegetables inside. Otherwise, the falafel was just about perfect. Hope to be back here soon!

Yelp
Lovely new bistro-type place, with so many sweet and savory offerings. So far I've only tried some of their sweets so just reviewing my experiences there. Service was mostly good ~ the primary server person at the bakery was super sweet & greeted everyone with a warm smile, but there were a lot of staff around I guess they mainly handled the background flow or other duties, so even when the wait was a little long, the other staff didn't provide much assistance. Possibly they are still working out their workflow. I tried a chocolate cherry cake slice which I'd say was not bad ~ the chocolate layer was thicker like a ganache which I personally like much better than buttercream but was a tad sweet for me, the cake part was on the drier side but which I think is standard for this cake type, and filling of light cream & some pieces of cherry was pretty good and not overly sweet. I also got a few baklava to try (wow they have so many varieties). Tried the milky pistachio, milky hazelnut, palace pistachio (smaller green roll), classic walnut, Turquaz roll pistachio (it was described as softer than the classic and it was), roll pistachio (larger green roll). My favorites were the milky ones as I felt they tasted less sweet (maybe the milk balances it out), and I also liked the palace pistachio for its firmer texture. The (larger green) roll pistachio was interesting in that it had some savory notes. Noting, my coworker tried to order coffee to go, but currently there is no option for this. Coworker had even brought her own travel coffee mug tumbler, so that coffee can be poured into it, but they were unable to fulfill the request. Not sure if they are still working that out, and if it'll be available in future. Overall, glad Turquaz is here, like an oasis in this somewhat sketchy area, and looking forward to trying more items.

Yelp
How do you like your meat sticks? Extra juicy? Turquaz got you! Cuz that cow or lamb doesn't need to be slaughtered a second time on the grill with dry, well-done meat. Soft opening last week, Turquaz is new Turkish resto and dessert shop in SoMa (replaced Foccacia Market & Bakery). Currently open for takeout and indoor dining. I appreciate that they're open 11 am - 9 pm for those who eat at off peak times. Fast-casual service with two separate lines: food and dessert. M E N U Turkish cuisine with an extensive menu: soups, salads, meze (apps), döner, kebabs, stews, and more. There's also some prepared food in steam trays. Hope they consider offering a lunch menu with more affordable options like wraps. For desserts, they have a variety of housemade baklava, pastries, and individually portioned cakes. Bottled drinks and self-serve water. F O O D * Turquaz Pistachio Kebab: Grilled minced lamb blended with pistachios, served w/ lavash, bulgur, cacık ($29): https://tinyurl.com/ys93dmj7 The adana-like kebab (2 pc) was hella juicy and well-spiced with a delicious buttery nuttiness from the pistachio. Still a bit pink (my preference) with a nice, charred flavor from the grill. The accompanying bulgur was perfectly chewy and flavorful from the tomato/pepper paste. Served with grilled tomato + peppers, warmed lavash, crisp raw onions, and a creamy cacık (Turkish yogurt w/ cucumbers). It's the best Turkish kebab plate I've had in recent memory where everything was well-executed, balanced, and so delicious. D E S S E R T S * Palace Pistachio ($3) Like baklava filling without the crispy phyllo, chockfull of pistachios. Ran too sweet but that's true of most baklava-like pastries I've had (except for Baklavastory) so that's a me problem. * Chocolate Pistachio Profiterole ($9): https://tinyurl.com/yc6rrv5t No label and the staff told me it was a chocolate and pistachio cake. It turned out to be a deconstructed profiterole - a bottom layer of crisp choux pastry topped with thicccc chocolate cream akin to pot de crème. Finished with chocolate shavings and crushed pistachios. Just two bites hit the spot - rich and chocolatey. Not overly sweet. S E R V I C E Friendly and prompt service. Received my order in 10 minutes. Visited at 3 pm after work so it was very quiet. A M B I A N C E Cozy, casual elegance with a large open kitchen (grill and two spits), beautiful pastry case, and ornate fireplace. There's plenty of seating, some with comfy nooks and decorative throw pillows. Free WiFi (90 minute limit). P A R K I N G Two parking garages on the block: SoMa Grand and Trinity Garage. Overall, Turquaz is such a welcome addition to SoMa for office workers and those who live in the area for lunch, an afternoon pick me up, or a casual date night.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Me and my family came her for breakfast and as soon as you walk in the decor is unique and well coordinated. At a certain seating area you can see the chefs making the food which was really cool. The staff was really nice and helpful. The menu was really big so there is something for everybody. They have a breakfast menu and a dinner menu which was really nice. Overall I really liked this place and I would recommend it if you are in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
Turquaz has taken over the old Focaccia space and has turned it into a nice casual eatery with a lovely and bright design. It keeps a lot of the casual vibes through at the counter ordering and the display for not only the desserts and other sweets, but for some of the main dishes as well. The Lamb Shank is very nice; tender, but still holding it's integrity and not getting mushy. I haven't seen how it is during the daytime, but for now, dinner time is fairly empty. I hope things pick up for them. Look forward to trying the other things they offer!

Yelp
I was so excited that this beautiful place opened up near my apartment and wanted to come check it out as soon as I could! First the inside is absolutely stunning! Gorgeous seating area along the windows and even a fireplace in the back. There are two lines, one for food and one for the dessert and pastries. I came around noon and there were a few guests reading and sipping on what looked like tea. I just felt happy being in there. The line quickly grew behind me for lunch and at the time there were only two waiters/cashiers and I don't think they expected that amount of foot traffic so quickly but despite that they were always so patient answering everyone's questions about the menu, different types of pastries and never made anyone feel rushed. Ps. They have an assortment and different types of baklava! She said to come earlier for their most popular ones because they go fast! The presentation was beautiful! Would be a great place for a lunch date, a place to work/study or just to hangout! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
WOW! Can I give 6 stars for this place? Thanks Yelpers for helping me to find this little Turkish oasis / hidden gem. I feel like I hit the jackpot with this place. The first thing you gonna notice is that hospitality hits DIFFERENT here. Like no offense, but everyone here is not from the US and apparently Turkish hospitality is greater than US hospitality like ten-fold. Warm greetings, smiles all around. Special shout out to Syrine (the only staff member not from Turkey but who is from Tunisia of all places!) who made me feel so welcome and who checked in on me. Second the food is out of this world. I don't know what voodoo magic they use to make their chicken kebabs melt like butter but these were completely succulent, tender, juicy, and easily the best chicken kebabs I've ever had. GET THIS! Get the slightly spicy bulgar with it as it's unique and has a nice al dente chew. Amazing hummus and smoked eggplant yogurt and something unique called carrot tarator (like a carrot yogurt). My only complaint is that the bread they serve it with is a little hard; I would have liked a soft, warm pita instead so a little feedback for the crew. My eyes were bigger than my stomach and I also ordered their famous malaga cake for dessert (I pre-ordered on Toast but when I saw it in person I was like uh-oh I ain't gonna finish this myself because the cake is HUGE!!!...like 5 inches 2 in x 2in...definitely plan to share this...I ended up sharing this with a large Turkish gathering next to me and they said that the food here is super authentic and reminds them of home. The cake itself was delicious! Not too sweet which is exactly how I like my desserts. Super moist chocolate cake on the bottom, lots of fluffy whipped cream, fresh banana, and a hard white chocolate mousse exterior. Would totally get this again but bring a dining companion next time. Lastly, the ambience here is just SUPER CUTE. It's BEAUTIFUL inside and I was able to sit at this little nook and cranny spot. But yeah amazing food + hospitality/warmth + ambience = 6 stars for you guys. Well done Turquaz; wish I lived closer to to you guys but glad I found you guys before my concert at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.

Yelp
I love this place. First of all, the decor, the cleanliness, and the ambiance is sooo beyond this location. Makes it seem like this place isn't located near the Tenderloin. The folks who work here are kind and professional. The food offerings seem countless. In my first go round I tried the pastry side only. They have a whole other side dedicated to lunch food. I also ordered a Turkish decaf coffee. It was yummy. They gave my a piece of Turkish delight to enjoy with my coffee and a small glass of carbonated water. Definitely will need to come back and try more drinks and food.

Yelp
I came here on the recommendation of someone who has tried their hot foods a number of times and really enjoys it. Unfortunately I was not in the mood for a meal, just a snack so I was excited to check out their dessert section. The shop is absolutely adorable. I love the decor and color scheme and it was very inviting from the moment I stepped inside. The customer service was attentive as there were not many people inside and quite friendly. There is a side featuring hot foods and a side with dessert cases and baked goods. There was so much to choose from that it took me a while to decide. I settled on the "Layers of Taste" Baklava flight and Keskul. I ate the Keskul right away. It is described as a silky, milk-based Turkish pudding enriched with ground almonds and subtly sweetened with sugar and vanilla, finished with a sprinkle of shredded coconut and crushed pistachios. I really enjoyed it, with the exception of the coconut. It reminded me of the rice pudding my mother would make when I was little. Had they substituted the coconut for raisins, I would have been in heaven but it is definitely a tasty dish. I don't know that the texture is for everyone but I definitely enjoyed it. The layers of taste was an assortment of 5 pieces of baklava including walnut, chocolate milky, turkuaz roll, mussle and roll pistachio. I really liked the mussle roll and the chocolate roll was nice as well but the rest were just standard baklava. Pets are not allowed in per the sign on the door so that will definitely prohibit me from visiting often as I have my pup with me most of the time but I definitely hope to come here again soon to try some hot food and hopefully increase the review rating. The shop is a great addition to the area and I wish them the best of luck!

Yelp
My new fav bakery/hidden gem! The place is surprisingly spacious and gives you a cute bistro vibe. You wouldn't expect this kind of charm in the middle of downtown SF. The blue themed decor gave off a in a relaxing, Mediterranean vibe. This is an adorably perfect place for a date, catch up with friends, a lone lunch, or grab and go! Service was wonderful, the staff are all so nice and patient with explaining the menu items :) Turquaz offers a variety of hot dishes. My first time here, I tried the "Turquaz Pistachio Kebab" plate ($29). Which came with a large lamb kebab with pistachio inside, a side salad, hummus, rice, and some flatbread. There are lower priced items that looked good as well, but as it was my first time, I wanted to try a chefs special menu item. Was it mindblowing? No. But it was thoroughly marinated/seasoned while also feeling healthy (I find it's usually hard to hit that balance at restaurants). I also tried my friend's kofte bowl ($19) and I thought it was not bad. Thank goodness the meat wasn't dry and overcooked! Where Turquaz really shines is the bakery! All the menu items are beautiful and delicious. I think the price range is reasonable as well, and makes me want to come back more often. I loved the "Izmir Bomb" cookie, which was a thin layer of praline wrapped around rich and smooth chocolate! For chocolate or pudding lovers, I would also recommend the "Supangle". Very rich and yummy! For a less sweet option, I liked the "Keskul", a beautiful almond milk pudding. And lastly, I really enjoyed the "Malaga" cake, which features a whole banana hidden in the cake! There was a lot of cream to sponge cake ratio when the cake was cut open, but surprisingly the (custard) cream didn't feel TOO overwhelming. Eventually I'd want to try their menu items one by one! Let's hope Turquaz is here to stay!!

Everything we tried was delicious. Appetizers, entrees and desserts. What a great addition to this area.

Yelp
Their baklava is excellent. There's got to be over 7 varieties. Turkish delight anyone. It's an oasis in there. Lovely music, charming decor. They make everything fresh. Turkish coffee. Their entree is around $25.

Yelp
An absolute gem of a Turkish café and bakery! I stumbled upon this beautiful spot just two months after it opened, and I'm already obsessed. The design is stunning--light, airy, and meticulously curated. It's spotless, elegant, and so thoughtfully laid out. The staff is beyond kind and welcoming, which makes the experience feel even more special. Now let's talk about the sweets: the selection is unreal. Every Turkish pastry and treat you can think of is here, and there's even an entire section dedicated to Turkish delight! It's like stepping into a dessert dream. The food menu is also excellent--authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Yes, the location might not be the best, but trust me, it's worth the visit. This place is a hidden treasure, and I'm so glad I found it. It's officially my new go-to café!

Yelp
I went to try this new place. I was excited to try the food. The place was clean and full with desserts and pastries. It was pretty pricey. Ordering was pretty fast. The food was delicious but the only disappointing thing was that they got mine order wrong. I order two bowls and for those two bowls I order bulgur wheat and instead I was given two bowls fill with rice. Just a bit disappointed.

Yelp
Wonderful place. All sorts of delicious food and drinks. Very authentic. Great staff.

Yelp
Went yesterday with friends and we are raving about this place! A short walk from Civic Center BART and the Orpheum, we loved the food, the atmosphere, the wait time (none!) and the service! Nur and Syrine took wonderful care of us, guiding us on the drinks, the appetizers, and main courses. And the desserts! WOW! Seriously you gotta try this place!
google avatar

Ria R.

Yelp
This establishment is a gently blue oasis in a grey desert. The kofte bowl gave me a (Disney) ratatouille moment: the meatballs taste like my mom's homemade hamburgers, I became a bit emotional. I ordered them with bulgur. It's delicious and just the right amount of food for lunch. I don't feel like I hate myself after eating but I do feel full! Give this place a try before it becomes too popular it's impossible to dine in. Oh and get a dessert on your way out!

Yelp
One of the best Turkish restaurants I've experienced in the Bay Area From the stunning decor to the serene poolside vibes and top-tier service -- everything was a solid 10/10. So authentic, you'll feel transported to Türkiye. And yes, even the kids couldn't get enough of the kebabs! Food 20/10

Yelp
Really happy to get a legit Middle Eastern spot in SOMA! The restaurant is spacious and elegant. I tried only sweet part of their menu and can definitely recommend their baklava and chocolate dessert. My husband was also happy with his chicken wrap. The personnel was very nice and fast. Looking forward to trying more of their baked goods

Yelp
It was a very sad experience for me and my husband, we had been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time when we had the opportunity, it was really very disappointing. The service was completely bad. We waited for 20 minutes to place an order and waited for another 40 minutes to receive the food, which arrived in parts, we asked the waitress if it would take long, to which she totally ignored us, after waiting 30 min more we never received the other part of the food we ordered, is sad that they treat their customers in such a bad way.

Yelp
SoMa has a new delight, and it is Turquaz. A beautiful quaint location that is an absolute escape from the endless nonsense on the surrounding streets. This Turkish style restaurant is not only beautiful, it's also extremely tasty as well at a very responsible price for San Francisco. (I only hope the tyrant's new tariff war doesn't impact this delightful spot. Along with heart healthy mezze, the teas (sold separately with the Turkish desserts) are extremely satisfying. Don't leave without trying one of the hot botanical teas. Lastly, while the restaurant doesn't require full service, the host and hostess were bubbling with energy and extremely helpful. If you find yourself in the area you will miss a treat if you don't drop in and take a moment.

Yelp
I am thrilled that a business finally opened on this corner as I frequent the intersection often. They serve an assortment of dessert and Turkish entrees. You can also purchase a variety of sides. The restaurant (more like cafe style) just opened tonight and I'm excited to hear that they will be serving Turkish coffee and a lunch menu soon. It's cute, cozy, and the staff are friendly. I ordered a lentil soup, a chicken plate, a hummus, and a baklava. As they are new, they are still working through some kinks and a few items I wanted were not available albeit being on their menu. I enjoyed the hummus and the soup - really good! The baklavas were perfect. I'll need to try the cakes next time. I'm hoping they will create a vegetarian entree (non cold salad) and a full seafood entree options (beyond the salad and bowl topper) option soon so I can more fully try their offerings.

Yelp
This place is great! I love Turkish food and they've got all kinds, from doners to stews, and a huge selection of baked goods. I really hope this place makes it, since it's so close to where I work and I could easily see myself coming here once a week. But it's a tough location and a huge space so fingers crossed. They really did a great job with it though and I plan to be a regular.

Yelp
Amazing experience! I have to shoutout the wonderful staff, specifically Syrine! She was so patient and willing to explain things to us. She really made our first time great! All around, the service and food were really great! I loved the mixed grill plate. I will be going back!

Yelp
My friend and I had dinner here last night. We had salmon and bulgur among other things like falafel plate and sigara böreği and we both agreed it was perfect. We never had salmon that was made to such perfection. I am thinking about it this morning and wish I can have it again today. Bulgur was made with tomato sauce I think and it was very tasty. Big thanks to chef. Elinize sağlık. Also, love how the place is decorated. It reminds me of restaurants in Çeşme and Alaçatı. We are from Bosna Hersek and love Turkish food.

Yelp
As someone who is very particular with Turkish cuisine, I was very impressed with Turquaz. I would highly recommend the Iskender and the Cold Baklava, although everything our group ordered was great!

Yelp
Visited this place today with the family. The service and the ambiance were excellent. They have a wide variety of selection on their menu and the food was delicious. We also had dessert, trileçe and profiterol. They were both excellent. I really loved the decor of the restaurant. Recommend it

Yelp
I'm adoring this new spot! The ambience is SUPER cute, the people were so welcoming, and food was delicious. Had the Turkish coffee, which was served with a very delightful Turkish delight. Also had some baklava, homemade Ayran mint yoghurt drink, and a chocolate covered pistachio cluster. All of it was delicious. I can't wait to come back abs try lunch sometime!

Yelp
Big selection of freshly made desserts. Can order their specialty baklava in bulk for a party or event. Their fluffy pancakes and Turkish coffee for breakfast is a must.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was professional. The ambiance is wonderful--perfect for large groups or business meetings. There's truly something sweet for everyone here. I don't think any other restaurant in the Bay Area can match the quality of this Mediterranean cuisine. Definitely the best spot in San Francisco!

Yelp
Went to SF for the day for passport services and this little gem was the highlight of our morning! Amazing service, customized lattes, amazingly delicious breakfast and pastries, all very fairly priced. And the ambiance was the absolutely adorable. Had to save this one and will be back!

Yelp
Ok, bottom line is that the food is phenomenal. Their restaurant side is great. Their bakery is amazing as well. As it's a newer restaurant, I will say that they have to work on minor workflow issues with orders on their websites and receiving them (our lahmacun order got "dropped")....but I think they can easily be fixed. Regardless, I will be frequenting this restaurant a lot in the future. This place is going to be a big future hit in sf

Yelp
Everything is beautiful in this place: the color palette, the decor, the cuisine, the desserts, the platings, even the cobalt blue gingham napkins. Lovely waitstaff and service as well. 10/10.
