Buon Giornio Italia!
That is how I felt after eating at the Tuscan Kitchen. We had just finished swearing in our Father in Law as a new US Citizen and we wanted to celebrate the occasion.
It was very cold outside and trying to find a good place to eat, until we smelled an amazing bacon, garlic and other combinations of aromas coming out of the Tuscan Kitchen, so we jumped in!
We need to start with the drinks, which as you can see from the picture, were beautifully served with great combinations, colors and decor. We loved the Aperol Spritz with Orange Juice, which the bartender made for my father in law, who loves a screwdriver, but wanted to taste a twist to it and he loved it. My wife's Sangria was great as well and with plenty of wine, which you can see in the color. We have been at other places, where the mix is more juice than wine, so she was happy that hers was blended the right way.
Having said all of this, my main dish, the pasta bolognese was absolutely amazing and out of this world. I had this plate in Siena, Italy, which is at the center of the Tuscany region. That restaurant had help the spot for the top bolognese I have had, but this one topped that one and one that I will never forget. The picture just shows the amazing colors coming out of the sauce, dark reds, plenty of spices and fresh ingredients that you could taste throughout. It was clear that the person cooking or managing this recipe knows their stuff and our bartender told us that he was Italian and hailed from the area.
I must confess that I came to the Tuscan Kitchen with my reservations, given that the Seaport is trendy and this is an Italian Restaurant chain. They have many locations in Boston, Burlington, etc. but this place did not disappoint and I am looking forward to coming for dinner, as we were there mostly for drinks and lunch and were surprised by this place!
Thank you for making our day, especially as we were celebrating an amazing occasion and hoping to see you soon!
Cheers!
