Tuscany on Taylor is straight-up fire. The atmosphere is super cozy and stylish—perfect for a date night or dinner with friends. I got the wood-fired Margherita pizza, and let me tell you, it was chef’s kiss. The crust was crispy, and the fresh mozzarella was perfect. My buddy went for the seafood pasta, and he was loving it—loads of flavor, and the seafood was cooked just right. We split a bottle of Tuscan red wine, which paired perfectly with everything. Ended up spending around $50 for two people, which is pretty reasonable for the quality. Definitely a spot I’d hit up again when I’m in the mood for legit Italian in the neighborhood!

While staying in Chicago's Little Italy we were looking for a nice sit down and found that in Tuscsny on Taylor. Seemed busy but we had reservation for our party of 7 and they got us right in on Saturday night. Good food and great service

Tuscany on Taylor has some fire food! I enjoyed everything I ate. We also got there a little bit before the dinner rush came. That was a good thing because I looked up and the place was packed! The service was immaculate and all of the wait staff that helped us were very attentive. I would definitely eat here again. If you haven't, what are you waiting for? Also don't mind the cake pic. I couldn't help but take a bite before I took a pic lol.

The Pollo Tuscano Arrostito, The Linguine con Scampi, Raviolini Pera, Fillete Vino Rosso was outstanding The flavors here are second to none presentation was superb and food was an absolute delight the desserts the white chocolate caramel brûlée and the tiramisu are delicious The pino noir is a great pairing and the espresso martini hit the spot as well. This place is special, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellence in their dining experience Alfredo was the best host making sure everything was perfect highly attentive and brought requests quickly he is truely an asset to this restaurant We will be back hopefully sooner than later 5 stars well deserved!

We had a great experience with my wife and special needs son. It was his birthday and the server and staff were very friendly and made the time special for him. They brought a piece of cake with a candle and sang to him. The food was delicious and was served promptly. We would eat here again .

It's been some time since we dined here. I had chicken marsala. We had soup. And dessert. It was a wonderful experience. It's close enough to downtown to eat here first, and not have to deal with the downtown traffic situation. We went to the theater after dining here. We shouldn't have waited so long to come back. We will be back.

The garlic bread is really special. The food is like family style food for us. They have a special menu and we love the fried eggplant meat roll. They also have a deck outside. It is very relaxed to sit outside during summer time.

Cute dinner spot on Taylor. Lots of street parking options nearby, but on a Friday night, when the streets are packed, there's an affordable valet lot for the restaurant! Valet is cash only. Would recommend making a reservation :) The inside ambience is so cute and a great dinner spot. My friend and I got wine and our husbands got some of their specialty cocktails, the Moscow mule and margarita. I got the eggplant parm which was flavorful, but a little soggy, I wish it was a little crispier but it was good! My husband got the orichietti and enjoyed it. My friend got the tortellini and our other friend got the gnocchi pomodoro. All in all, solid meals with good portion sizes and prices. Will likely be back!

This is a solid and reliable option in the Little Italy/University Village. So many businesses in the area have closed and there has been a lot of change to Taylor street, especially since Covid. You can come here and still feel that you're having an authentic Taylor street experience, complete with white tablecloths and excellent, warm service. My favorite dish is the pollo montecarlo, a chicken dish with prosciutto in a wine sauce. Some other good options are the meatballs and chicken parm. Look forward to coming back.

I went to eat here on a Thursday. This place has valet parking & is only open for 5 hours the night I attended. The Clam Vongole wasn't on the menu but we requested the dish and the restaurant gladly prepared the dish for us. The restaurant is a la cart however the proportions are healthy + hearty. The drinks are not watered down and the staff didn't rush us whatsoever in fact the staff made every effort to make sure we were comfortable and were very attentive. The decoration is quaint and trendy plus very pleasant.

Sometimes it's just the little things..... I had the good fortune to have dinner recently at Tuscany-Taylor. It was packed last Saturday night but fortunately I had a reservation for 7 pm and was seated about 10 minutes later. By the way the 'Taylor' in the restaurants name is the street it's located on. It has the feel of a popular neighborhood restaurant that attracts customers from all over Chicago. I ordered the spaghetti di mare for $31 and added the insalata della casa for another $10. First to arrive was the complimentary bread basket and olive oil except for one little thing. The waiter took a small plate and began crushing some garlic cloves on it and then adding the oil and mixing it all together. I could easily tell the freshness of the mixture on my delicious bread and it was hard not to eat the entire basket. Next, the salad arrived. Most side salads like this are an afterthought and put together to just get by. Sure, this salad had nice looking romaine, carrots, tomatoes and vinaigrette, etc. but the little extra this salad had were cucumber slices that actually tasted like real cucumber with a delicious flavor AND house made croutons that had a unique texture making me realize what a real crouton tastes like. Finally the entree appeared in a big bowl. Spaghetti with calamari, mussels, clams and shrimp of course in a red marinara. Kind of typical ingredients but the little difference with this entree was the actual amount of seafood included. Believe me, the picture I took doesn't do it justice. It was all the seafood I could want. Tuscany doesn't skimp with the content in this dish. It tasted great! The table service was very professional during the meal. It was easily a 4 star meal but it's because of Tuscany's attention to the little things I give 5 stars.

Came for a coworkers birthday, which was a nice location for a lil celebration! Delicious roasted garlic and parmesan spread with the bread to start with. Pretty extensive menu. I had delicious short rib ravioli. I honestly wasn't expecting this restaurant to be as yummy as it was. Cute patio, I have been meaning to go back since I first went!

I recently went with my wife and young kids, who love Italian food having gone to Italy a couple of years ago. The Margherita Pizza was excellent, kids loved it. The SPAGHETTINI di MARE, the pasta was really good but the mussels were overcooked and just chewy. One of the specials on the menu was a ribeye steak, however it was actually a tBone that was definitely not USDA prime, FYI. The Pollo Toscano and the roasted potatoes were VERY dry. The Veal scaloppini was pretty good. Overall, it was OK, but expensive for the lack of quality. I wouldn't go back.

This was out on Friday night after work. The place continue to provide quality. Although our table in northeast corner was not available. Yes, quality service from the smiles and hand shakes from both the parking attendants; and the warm greeting from the front desk began our dining experience. The standard waiter for us is Kenny. The warm greetings and the automatic water without ice from Roc with straws; and the water with lemon wedges on a small plate from Mr. Mc Gee. Are you have your normal appetizer after his greeting? He passed out the evening special menu. We looked at the special. The table side spread was created by Kenny. The spread consist of roasted garlic, crushed roasted jalapeños peppers in oil, parmesan cheese combine with virgin olive oil mashed with a fork. The intersection of Italian bread to spread is placed into an awaiting open mouth, starts the dining with a great taste. Roc selected a special linguine with calamari, spinach with spices tomato sauce. This was very pleasing and warm of a nice summer evening. Eating light with a Barbarossa salad with citrus was Mr. Mc Gee selection. This was the third Barbarossa salad eaten on the last three occasions. The manager(Alex) was very warm with good conversation. The place is very so nice... The floor to ceiling windows were open. They provided a constant breeze, and as the evening progress it was delightful they closed the windows as the weather cooled. This was another Shalom

I had one of the best Italian meals I've ever had last night at Tuscany. I had the linguine with shrimp in a savory red sauce. I also had a garden salad. For dessert, I had the chocolate lava cake with berries and vanilla gelato. I was an extremely happy customer. Service was excellent. I went early but if you go later, make a reservation. It fills up fast and I can see why. I will return very soon.

The food was really good, but the service was slightly lagging, found that our waiter was hardly attentive.

After spending a day walking downtown Chicago enjoying the holiday lights on Michigan Avenue and State Street, Macy's windows not the same as Marshall Fields's back in the day, my friends and I were ready to hit Little Italy for some comfort food. We had to wait a few minutes for our table even with reservations , they were packed. They bring warm bread with roasted garlic to enjoy with olive oil and Parmesan cheese. We decided to split two entrees as we heard the chicken was a large portion. The fettuccine was good not great but the chicken was fabulous, I'd go back just for this dish, easy to split for two people so at $30, it's a good deal. My friend ordered a tiramisu, she said she's had better.

It was my 2nd visit to this restaurant. The service was great! This time around I decided on the Insalata Pera with arugula, pickled red onions, gorgonzola, candied walnuts, dates, balsamic vinaigrette AND an entree of Raviolacci Toscani, consisting of homemade ravioli filled with short ribs, parmigiano, fontina, porcini mushroom cream sauce. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!

Tuscany is a treasure. It would be 5 stars for me, but it's a bit loud for my taste, but that's just me. every dish we've had has been seriously good and the service is memorable. Kind and very attentive staff We go back regularly and will Continue to do so. Small parking lot and valet service. Outside seating is perfect for when the weather is good. Best piece of sea bass I've had, ravioli are amazing and the tiramisu is solid.

Wow. Just wow. My family and I went here this weekend to celebrate a birthday and let me tell you it was PHENOMENAL. The pasta is the best in little Italy. The service was impeccable and handsome . We will definitely be back. Next time I won't wear so much makeup bc the restaurant is very dark! (great for ugly people on first dates) 10/10 EXPERIENCE

Tuscany provided a shaded outdoor table at our request on a beautiful day. Almost immediately, the server brought out roasted garlic cloves, mashed them with a fork, added olive oil and Parmesan to provide a delicious spread for their fabulously crusty bread. We ordered a beautifully grilled fish and octopus. The server's wine recommendation was very good. I definitely plan to return on my next trip to Chicago.

I have been to Tuscany a few times. As far as Italian food goes, it's quite good. I would rate it 5 stars, but it's only getting 4 because I feel it is a little overpriced. Seen in the picture is the sage brown butter ravioli from their specialty menu. I think that if you get anything from the specialty menu it's worth in terms of money. The service was good and the staff felt like they were paying attention. They also provide bread and olive oil along with the food. The ambiance was like any normal restaurant, nothing special in my opinion. Overall, I think Tuscany is a good place for Italian food as long as you order from their special menu!

We came here at the tail end of summer and enjoyed sitting outside on their patio, which is the best option if it's available to you in my opinion. Their patio is off of the main road so the whole dining experience isn't disturbed by too many passing vehicles. The food here was alright, nothing too crazy memorable and nothing glaringly terrible. The mussel appetizer we got was probably the best thing- the sauce was light and savory, perfect for bread dipping. The special of the night that we ordered, a fish dish that I've forgotten exactly what it was, was pretty average. It had this unnatural reddish orange glow to the sauce. I didn't actually pick up much flavor from the sauce. The fish was cooked well. The other main dish we got was just a simple spaghetti, a safe choice for sure. It was well made and tasty. The portions are just right for one person per main dish- we had no leftovers. Our servers were great and overall it was a good experience but the food didn't blow me away. I especially enjoyed eating outside.

We reserved the private room for our wedding dinner for 42 guests and Tuscany did a fabulous job. Leading up to the day, Marivel was responsive and a pleasure to work with. We planned our wedding in 6 weeks which was hectic, but Marivel eased my nerves. Any question I had, and there were a lot, she always had an answer or solution for. The service was incredible. The wait staff was attentive, efficient, and friendly. No one waited long for a drink. They accommodated our GF and vegetarians guests with no problem. All of our guests raved about the food. It was a a 5 course plated dinner. For appetizers we had caprese salad and meatballs. Next was the house salad followed by the penne pasta with mushroom and prosciutto cream sauce. Guests chose from the following entree options: chicken vesuvio, salmon limone, sausage and peppers, and chicken montecarlo. Dessert was spumoni ice cream. Thank you for an incredible meal and the best service! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to host a private dinner.

Haven't been here in a while and I was in little Italy with a friend so we decided to stop here and get dinner. They have a nice patio for outdoor seating and the inside is fairly large. There's a bar as soon as you walk in and a large dining area in the front and back of the restaurant. We started off with baked clams, bruschetta, & the grilled octopus on a salad. Everything was great, the clams were just very bread-y, definitely couldn't taste the clam at all. For the entree, I ordered chicken piccata which came with a side pasta... this is where it went down hill. The chicken was so floury and the pasta had a very odd taste, it's a lemon thyme sauce, and the noodles were undercooked (not al dente). I used to be a regular here and I was so disappointed with this visit, but I'll be back and give it another try next time I'm in town.

What a delight. During our recent visit to Chicago, my husband and I decided to spent some time wandering through the LIttle Italy neighborhood. Around dinner time, we happened upon Tuscany and decided to stop for dinner. This place is a treasure. The food was exquisite. My husband had the tagliatelle with bolognese and I had ravioli stuffed with short ribs in a mushroom cream sauce. The flavors were clear like bells and well balanced within each dish. The service was impeccable. There was no hovering, but someone always appeared just at the right moment to refill a glass or remove an empty plate. My biggest regret was not bringing a bigger appetite.

The fiancé and I had our eye on this place ever since I started at UIC and we finally got to try it last night. Valet is 11$ but there is plenty of street parking around the area and it's free on Sunday's. The restaurant itself is decorated beautifully and has a cozy ambiance. The menu is extensive yet authentic and the restaurant may be able to modify any of the dishes to fit your needs. Saul was our waiter and he was such a delight. He genuinely made our night so much fun. We had a great conversation with him and it's nice to see how passionate he is about the food at this restaurant. He gave us excellent recommendations! I wanted to order the Carpaccio De Manzo and Saul made sure to let me know that the beef is actually raw in this dish. Little does he know, I am Lebanese and have been eating raw beef ever since I can remember (kibbeh nayyeh anyone?) and was so excited to try the Italian version of raw beef. It was absolutely delicious. The citrus from the lemon mixes so well with the truffle oil and the arugula. Not to mention the delicious shaved parmesan; put that on top of their soft, warm complementary bread and you have one excellent Italian bite. We also had the bruschetta, the raviolini para and the raviolacci Toscanini. The Raviolini is a rich creamy pasta with mascarpone cheese, pears and sun dried tomatoes. The ravioli was also filled with a delicate and nutty beef filling. It was the favorite dish of the night. The bruschetta and raviolacci tasted okay but that raviolini para was out of this world. I highly recommend this dish. It was such a well spent evening at Tuscany and we can't wait to be back. Till next time!

Food - Is excellent, old school Chicago Italian food. For apps, tried the burrata, bruschetta, and calamari, all were delicious. I got the whole roast chicken for dinner which was a special, it was very tender and flavorful. Service - Leaves much to be desired. It was pretty difficult to track down our waiter. Reason for the one star deduction. Ambiance - Old school vibes

This place has the best calamari I've ever tried. They also provide a tasty sauce and marinara for the calamari. I love that they always have great pasta dishes. Their service is also phenomenal. And their dessert menus is great I always pair it with a cappuccino. Recommend sitting at the bar great ambiance.

The best Italian food I have had in a very very long time! The noodles were so fresh and a great texture and the sauce was great as well! The tiramisu was nice and fluffy! Will definitely be going back! Food came super quick, but the waitress was a little awkward and kinda rude when we asked questions about the menu and serving sizes

Excellent food and our waiter, Saul, was awesome. This is my favorite restaurant in Chicago and I'm surprised I haven't reviewed it before. Valet parking is a snap and you can usually get a table on short notice. They also have a nice bar if you need to wait. The menu has plenty of choices. My wife and I brought a friend here and I recommended the veal chop. It wasn't on the menu, but Saul said, no problem and proceeded to offer it in a choice of 3 preparations. Our calamari appetizer was excellent and came with the traditional red cocktail sauce as well as a white sauce, both served on the side along with lemon. It was perfectly cooked and a plentiful portion. I had the Filet special, which was excellent and came with rapini, a favorite. The wine list is not extensive, but there are plenty of choices and reasonably priced by the glass or bottle. No complaints by anyone, although the fingerling potatoes were a little dry and I wasn't impressed by the side pasta that came with my wife's veal scallopini. Nonetheless, everything else was so outstanding, it almost seems not worth mentioning.

Ordered some takeout and waited at the bar with a great Italian red wine. Staff was professional and welcoming and it has a classic Italian restaurant feel. I had a soup and the grilled pork chops of the specials menu and everything was great.

Fantastic! We were able to get a reservation here to celebrate Mother's Day! The environment in the front dining area is very busy and family-friendly! There is a private dining area in the back for people who want a more intimate experience. The valet, hosts, and waiters are all great! The staff could not have been more accommodating. Let's get to the food. Outstanding! I'm not an expert in Italian cuisine, but this was damn good! We started off with the Wagyu Meatballs and Calamari Fritti for appetizers while devouring the bread basket! For the main meals, we ordered some chicken Parmigiano dishes, Margherita and Peperoni pizzas, and spaghetti. We loved all of the meals! The pepperoni was a little too spicy for the kids as they used spicy soppressata. I, on the other hand, loved it! I had a couple glasses of the Rodney Strong pinot noir's, which was delicious! For dessert, we ordered a Lava Cake, Carrot Cake, and coffee for me. The desserts got devoured by everyone! My favorite dessert is carrot cake, but I also let my kids know that carrot cakes are not all created equal, and the one served here is an exception! Do yourself a favor and stop by for a meal. You will want to come back to try all of the selections on the menu!

The food at Tuscany was amazing. The drinks were off the charts. But what made things better was the staff.

What can I say! The food was exceptional. We tried zuppa, margherita pizza, red wine infused fetuccine and the tiramisu. Each and every item was amazing. We were blown away by the flavors in the zuppa and the fetuccine was simply otherworldly. The margherita pizza and tiramisu are also perfect spot on. Highly recommend these dishes. Service was excellent as well. The ambience was also really nice. If you want a classy Italian dinner, this is the place you should not miss at all.

I really loved this place! Food was great. The service was excellent, the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. I Went with a large group for a corporate event. Started with meatballs, prosciutto penne and Cesar salad. For Main had salmon and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was amazing and perfectly cooked. I didn't care for the tiramisu very much. The decor was homey and family style. Christmas decor was a nice touch and created a festive atmosphere. There was street parking and valet. I can't wait to go back!

Cannot recommend this place enough! We just landed in Chicago and decided to give this place a try and it was DELICIOUS! From the garlic cheese mixture they make for the bread, to all the entrees, and the service (thank you Lalo!). We felt really welcomed and appreciate all the staff. 100% would come back!

Have friends who love this place, so I've dined here at least a dozen times over the years. Unfortunately, it's inconsistent. My main criticism is usually the service. There's sometimes a wait for the food, but last week the kitchen was prompt. The staff can act like they'd rather be anywhere else, but last week our server was friendly and efficient... he even cracked a few corny jokes. The food is almost always good. Last week, not so much. My orecchietti con salsiccia was cooked al dente, but too salty. My friend said her whitefish was cooked perfectly, but tasted blah. Can't leave here without coffee and dessert. We opted for two where we could figure out the WW points. (Still trying to lose the last of the Covid isolation weight.) The cannoli was, as always, yummy. And my friend's vanilla gelato was authentic, creamy gelato. Valet parking was really easy, but pricier than pre-plague. The outdoor patio looked inviting, but it was supposed to rain... and it did pour about half way through our meal.

What a lovely dinner from beginning to end! Ramiro was professional , attentive, accommodating-along with the whole staff-exceptional! We started w/the carpaccio which was adorned with arugula salad with the BEST lemon vinegar dressing which enhanced the flavor of the meat. Roasted mussels with red chiles, tomatoes, wine, butter-a great balance of flavors was a second appetizer-Delicious! Final course we were able to split our pasta entree. Red Wine Fettuccine with wild mushrooms(cooked perfectly)with garlic, shallots, sherry wine reduction, parmesan....had we not been going to the theater-we would have ordered more ...for late nite treat-it was That GOOD! Cocktails excellent & nice wine choices. The roasted garlic, Parmesan, evoo, prepared at table for bread topping...seriously-could be placed on everything!!! Thank you for a great dining experience!

Wow! Alfredo was our waiter. We were a large party of 8 celebrating a birthday. We had such excellent service. The food was amazing. So rich and tasty. Everything we ate was superb from the appetizers to our desserts. Appetizers: we ordered bruschetta, calamari & Burrata. All were enough to feed the 8 of us and we enjoyed every bite. Main courses: most of us either orders the gnocchi or the ravioli in brown butter sauce with sage. My son ordered the Margarita Pizza. The ravioli was so rich and the portion seems small but the taste is amazing. The gnocchi with bolognese sauce was so fresh. For desserts we had Cannoli and Tiramisu. We even tried a molten lava cake. The tiramisu was so rich and decadent. The cannoli was smooth and crispy. It was fresh. To end our dinner we had a round of coffee and cappuccino. Such light and tasty foam. I loved it. The experience was so good. Five stars for sure. The service was superb and honestly the prices were excellent.

Recently went to Tuscany on Taylor to cure my itch for Italian food. The service is prompt and to the point, while the food is excellent. A particular standout were the Wagyu Meatballs - these are an appetizer, but they were so good someone at our table ordered them as an entree. I ordered the Raviolacci Toscani for my main course which was delicious, but I only wish there were a few more pieces of ravioli on the plate. Pro tip - while I not on the menu, order a plate of sausage and peppers as an appetizer to share. The sausage had a nice crispy layer on the outside and the tomato based sauce it came with had a nice kick. If you're looking for some consistent, hearty, and flavorful Italian, then check out Tuscany!

Livid, doesn't begin to describe how I'm feeling after hearing how the staff at Tuscany treated my wife. She and a friend went for happy hour. Nowhere does it indicate WHERE in the restaurant you have to be seated in order to order off the happy hour menu. Turns out the server seated them under an active bee's nest (place was less than 50% full mind you) and only relocated them after the bees swarmed the table and they asked for help. The server first said they could put a fan out and it would stop the bees, but that gives the strong impression that this was a known issue and they sat people there anyway, so they asked again to be reseated. Once seated indoors, the same server told them to go to the bar and get their own drinks if they wanted happy hour. What?!?!!? At the end of their visit, the server dropped off the check and, sure enough, everything was charged at full price. Tuscany, if you're going to pull this bait and switch, just stop doing happy hour. Some people seem to love your restaurant and that's great and all. However, if you keep burning people like you did to my wife and her friend then folks will be wishing for your business to fail.

Awful service experience. Charged for items not ordered and hand wrote how much tip my guests should leave. We asked for specific items including hot water for the table and they never brought it over. They brought over the table side garlic although we never ordered it. We asked about it and then still charged us. Even worse, the server wrote down how much tip my guests from out of town were supposed to leave - not automated tip suggestions but wrote down, pen on paper! I think that is completely inappropriate. Never coming back here

I really enjoyed my meal here. I wasn't planning on dinner just Italian ice up the street. We decided to come. I had the rack of lamb and it was the bomb. Topped off my dinner with cappuccino. Yes I would come here I was treated respectfully. Great company for dinner as well.

Excellent food and service! I haven't been here in a decade and realized how much I miss the food. Everything we had was very tasty from The mussels to the desserts . We ordered he ravioli.mac and cheese and chicken. The desserts just melt in your mouth. We will be back soon and they valet for $6.

We really enjoyed this place. We got here before the crowds started rolling in so we had everything to eat pretty quickly. I'm not a huge Italian food person but this place was really good and it was affirmed around the table. I had the gnocchi, I don't think you can (usually) go wrong with that. I wanted a pasta since I was at an Italian place and I'm glad I did.

Nice place, busy and attentive staff. Hadn't been here in years. Lot of cool equipment in the open kitchen area. Food was so-so, not a whole lot of flavor. Many Italian restaurants we have visited in Chicago have this issue - I wonder if they are actually run by Italian cooks. Note that happy hour is at the bar only.

Mario was the best. He helped our grandson have a great meal, which meant peace for everyone at the table, and beyond. But it was the food that was the star . My bride's favorite was the Raviolalli Toscani, where the sweet pairs and cheese paired beautifully. She also had a split plate with Trofie Al Pesto, mmmm. My daughter and I shared the Lasagnetta Al Forno Tartufate, where the combination of artisan mushrooms and spec (Parma) made for a savory blend of heavenly pasta. The split was with Spaghetti Con Cozze, with some of the biggest tastiest mussels I've had in a long time. Oh it was all so good. My favorite was the mushroom dish. We capped it off with gelato and fresh berries. It was truly a wonderful meal. We will be back for sure.

Can't believe I've never eaten here before and I am born and raised Chicago. Tuscany on Taylor has been here since I was a youngster and has always been known as staple authentic Italian and I can finally say I agree. Food was delicious and the portions are huge. One meal will have you eating off of it for at least two days. Staff is very personable and give you the family everybody know everybody feel. You can tell mostly regulars patronize this place and I see why. It's a great options for good authentic Italian.

Tuscany on Taylor never disappoints! I've been coming here for years and they are always consistent. Everything is delicious. This is a Chicago staple not to be missed. Classic Italian cuisine all the way. They are fine preparing a different kind of pasta if you want also. I love the capellini, so rather than have the standard thicker pasta with my meal they made some angel hair with pomodoro sauce instead, no problem. Same excellent service as always by the wait staff that has worked there for years. Highly recommend.

I was less than impressed with my experience here. I was excited to try this place out after I found out my group had made reservations here and checking out the other reviews on yelp. Service: our party was not seated until well after 15 minutes past our reservation time. It was a party of 15 so it's not like they were waiting for a regular table to get up and be finished. Our waiter did not come around at all to check on our food, we had to ask the employees who filled our water glasses, making it almost impossible to order a refill of anything. To top it off, the restaurant refused to split our checks and give us separate bills. With 15 people all in separate parties this makes it extremely difficult and the whole process of paying our bill took about an hour. Unacceptable in my opinion, especially for a tab that is close to $500. From start to finish the waitstaff including the hostess was not at all welcoming with the exception of the boys who came around with the water pitchers. Food: the bread and olive oil mixture to start off with was very good. I had the short rib ravioli for my main dish based on other yelp reviews and I honestly wasn't a fan. The meat inside tasted good, but the sauce had a taste that made me feel sick which I think is just a personal taste thing maybe. My dad just had plain rigatoni with red sauce which I tried some of and it was nothing special. The pasta I make at home out of the box honestly tastes better. Overall, I would recommend going somewhere else. If I had a large party coming into my restaurant where the food isn't cheap I would probably treat my guests with more respect. I'm sure there are way better Italian places to eat at in Little Italy that you should give your business to.

I ate here before the pandemic and it was great. The quality of the food is amazing, and the bruschetta specifically is my favorite. My only complaint is that it seems post pandemic their menu has become a lot simpler, but the quality of food and service is still great

I was with a large group for Sunday night dinner. The evening was perfect for al fresco dining on the patio. The food was ok - our group had pasta, chicken vesuvio, lasagna, and fish. The service was excellent - a great spot for young families with kids. I really appreciated the free valet parking.
