Yelp
PROS: ample parking, location for after shopping with kids in tow/quick pizza CONS: expensive for poor quality food, lackluster ambiance, disinterested service, OH, AND DISGUSTING RESTROOMS.
Really want to give this place a ONE STAR but I am considering the location, ease of parking, food options and dining option for parents with kids after shopping or working all day. The staff seemed lazily friendly and disinterested in being there but fair enough considering it was a foul weather Tuesday and we've all been young once. (Not the issue here...) Pace of service was great, we weren't there to linger, just stopped into the plaza to buy shampoo, grab a bite after work and get home. My husband ordered Bolognese which ended up being just spaghetti with meat sauce. I had a 'lasagna' that had no layering but just clumps of pasta/cheese/ meatball halves and ohmydogMORE cheese in a casserole dish. I feel like if you can't get the staples down.... This place is more of a PIZZERIA with options. it's great that they have a full bar but since my husband uses a wheelchair, we were not able to sit at the high tops or bar. No ADA bar seating was available. (Our young server even asked , "Is that a DRINK?" when my husband ordered a Black Manhattan OFF OF THE MENU.) We eat out a lot and at lots of price points; we felt this was too expensive for the quality of food, lack of ambiance - think: breezy cold cafeteria environment! THE BREAKING POINT was the restrooms!!! Had I used the restroom upon arrival, I would NOT HAVE EATEN HERE. The LADIES ROOM had an inch thick coating of DUST on the fake plants, the stall floor had thick dust, crud, sticker/trash in between the partition and wall as a mop (maybe!) had only gone over the general/open area. The back of the toilet.... UNSPEAKABLE. I immediately went out to ask for the Manager, the kind, young man on staff asked if he should get the mgr or did I simply want to pass a message along. As the manager approached, a young lady on staff approached saying, "HERE WE GO!!!!!" I disregarded. As I told the manager about the state of the bathrooms after complimenting the young staff that had been up to that point, at least dutiful, the young lady that had served us, hovered behind. I let the manager know that the ladies' room was SO bad that I feared for my husband in a wheelchair - since he needs to transfer in the stall - and the state of the mens' room! She stared at me disinterested and almost daring me. She said she'd tell her General Manager. I ended the conversation, she went to a cabinet in the hallway, retrieved a can of something and maybe a roll of toilet paper? (I was still at the counter.) Points for her appearing to deal with it but she was out after dropping off the supplies, let the door slam behind her. My Husband came out of the mens' room and said, "THAT was a HORROR!" I said, "I just complained about the ladies' room!" Feces all over the toilet, just enough TP to wipe the area.... he said he exclaimed, "DISGUSTING! THIS TOILET! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO USE THIS?!" Apparently, an employee was in there and asked if he needed TP. Thanks to that guy. We have no reason to ever return. Issaquah has SO many wonderful options - Tutta Bella is NOT one of them.
