Tutti's is a great addition to the Concord area, and was much needed! I got very excited when I saw this was opening as this area severely needs more non chain, and different options. A good Italian Deli is something that was definitely missing in the area. I have now been multiple times already and I can say it is certainly a positive addition!
I really like the building they have renovated for it. It is open, bright, and very nice looking. Also nice that they have convenient parking right behind the building. Heading inside, they have a large deli counter at which you can order as well as a small little "market" type area with various foods, oils, wine, and a good assortment of frozen foods to take home and heat up. From the frozen foods section we did get the meatballs one time and enjoyed them a lot!
They have a handful of cold and hot sandwiches, but I think almost every time I have been I have gotten the "Dante" which, of course, is a spicy sandwich and I enjoy a lot! The chili pepper aioli is PERFECT.
If I had one complaint, it would probably be the cost. Typically for a cold sandwich and bottled soda, I am looking at pretty close to $20, which is fine occasionally for a sandwich at lunch, but I think if they were a little small and even a few dollars less I would be more likely to stop in more often. I enjoy it, and it is a good sandwich but at the end of the day it is just a boars head deli sandwich. By comparison a couple of the more elite delis in the state (Giacomo's in Gboro and Dioli's in WS), I can get in and out for $5 or more less. But for an occasional splurge it's ok.
All of the workers, especially the owner have been very personable and I will surely be back, and maybe will even branch out and try things other than the Dante.
I am very glad they are in the area and will continue to support them, I think it will only continue to get better.
