"This minimalist boutique hotel, with its elevated, Scandinavian vibe, was created by Hong Kong interior team, Design Systems. Outfitted from stem to stern in grey monochrome marble, concrete, and natural timber, it’s got an immaculately clean, refined appearance throughout, making it the sort of place you'll be pretty happy to call home: The bathrooms, decked with oxidized brass fixtures, are stocked with luxury products; the lighting is perfectly ambient at all times; and it’s well-located, too, with the MTR, Causeway Bay, Victoria Park, and Tai Hang all close-by. In fact, it’s so well-integrated into a happening (but not-too-happening) part of town that, along with its inviting yet no-frills atmosphere, it is the perfect place to stay for an authentic experience of the city without skimping on luxury."

"How did it strike you on arrival?Marked by black steel doors, the narrow entrance to TUVE is so moody and dark that entering feels like sneaking into a secret lair. The sparse decor—open concrete reception area, perforated metal wall, slivers of light—will feel cold to some, cool and futuristic to others. Nice. What’s the crowd like? The minimalist hotel draws minimalist travelers—most with a penchant for design. The good stuff: Tell us about your room. The 183-square-foot wood-paneled Comfort Rooms were way too small for our taste, so we upgraded. The stripped down and immaculate Premier Rooms start at about 325 square feet—not bad for Hong Kong. There’s very little furniture or adornment aside from a lounge chair and a concrete working desk. White accents and cement walls are brightened by natural light pouring in through a wall of windows. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?Each of the 64 rooms has a plush king-size mattress and luxury linens—we had no complaints in the bed department. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Any of that find its way into your suitcase?TUVE ups the minibar ante with gourmet snacks and beverages from around the world. It was hard to pass on the Sicilian almonds, Brouwerij de Molen beer, and Fever-Tree tonic water. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down.A spa-grade walk-in shower, gray marble interiors and Le Labo bath amenities soothed the soul and the mind after a long day of exploring. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?Free Wi-Fi is a given here. Travelers will also find a data-enabled “Handy” phone to use around town. Room service: Worth it?This boutique hotel doesn’t offer room service but a savvy concierge team will point you towards the best nearby restaurants and bars. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you. We’d recommend the atmospheric ground-floor restaurant called the Silver Room. It echoes the hotel's industrial aesthetic—plastic walls, white leather banquettes, marble tabletops—but the food is homey Italian pasta, seafood, and wine. What was most memorable—or heartbreaking—about your stay?TUVE's minimalism isn't for everyone, but we found the pared-back aesthetic relaxing. Hong Kong's crowded streets and jackhammers can feel like an assault on the senses. The austere vibe here helped us unwind. Bottom line: worth it, and why?Travelers looking for a design-forward experience in an oft-overlooked neighborhood will love TUVE." - Kate Springer

A design hotel I had a pleasant time staying at. Space is satisfactory. Aesthetics are impressive. The deliberately minimalist room was well-appointed despite some impractical or ill-designed features, i.e. towel hooks far from the shower, bathroom sink lacking front space, shower drain that does not fully drain, absence of bidet or at least a movable shower head to wash private parts without getting the upper body wet, and a canal-like room floor outline that traps dust. Service was efficient. Location is convenient with the Tin Hau station just a short distance away, and several good restaurants, convenience stores, massage parlors and fruit stands nearby.

I recently stayed at TUVE Hotel in Hong Kong and had a fantastic experience. The modern, stylish design creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. My room was spacious and meticulously clean, featuring comfortable bedding and unique decor. The location is excellent, with easy access to local attractions and public transport. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with recommendations. However, the breakfast options could be expanded for more variety. Overall, TUVE Hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort and convenience, making it a great choice for travelers. I highly recommend it for a memorable stay!

Lived this hotel. It’s a hidden gem in a really cool area. Easy for HK waterfront walks and the park. ||It’s hard to spot though, nothing tells you are there. So I loved the secretness of it. And the rooms aren’t numbered so I had to guess which one was mine. ||Room was big and bold and beautiful. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Had a fabulous time.

Stayed in the Black Premium Room — surprisingly spacious, with excellent use of materials and lighting. Everything worked exactly as it should: strong water pressure, comfortable bed, fast Wi-Fi, and a calm, distraction-free vibe.||Hotel staff were polite but never overbearing. Location was convenient — close enough to the MTR and Causeway Bay, but tucked away from the chaos.||This place isn’t flashy, and that’s what makes it great. Well-built, well-run, and thoughtfully maintained. I’d stay again without hesitation.

The good part ahead. Nice modern minimalistic hotel room. The bathroom products are excellent from le labo. The bed is super comfortable. The basic internet connection didn’t work the entire stay and the hotel it support wasn’t solving it which resulted on missing my online meeting.

The location of the hotel is nice with lots of restaurants nearby. Walk to Tin Hau MTR station within 5 mins. The room and bed is very comfortable and clean with modern style and design. It is a great night staying at TUVE. Will stay again in future!

After two weeks of traveling, this was the first night I actually slept like I do at home.
The bed was not only super comfortable but also so stylish — finally a mattress that felt just right.|I also loved the thoughtful touches: a water filter, universal adapters, a powerful hairdryer, and even a set of cosmetics — with a scent that perfectly matched the hotel’s calm and moody atmosphere 🖤|The area was another pleasant surprise — quiet and peaceful, yet within walking distance of the bustling Causeway Bay. Victoria Park is just around the corner, and the waterfront isn’t far either.
There are plenty of great coffee shops and cafes nearby, and the hotel’s own restaurant “101 binary” is just as chic — perfect for breakfast or a relaxed dinner

I really loved my stay at Tuve. Clean, well laid out rooms and a great location and base in HK. The shower was spacious with great amenities, and great bed also. The staff were very friendly and made checking in/out very easy. I will be back!

Yelp
My friend and I stayed at this hotel last December in the Tin Hau area. The location of the hotel was great, only a 5 min walk to the Tin Hau station. There were plenty of restaurants on the same street as the hotel as well as on nearby streets. Check in was on the 2nd floor and pretty quick. The hotel was new and had this gothic vibe to it. Our twin room was very clean and of moderate size, about 240 square feet. I liked how they gave us complimentary water bottles daily. I also liked the Aesop bath products that were in the bathroom. It was a nice touch. The beds were really comfortable as well. The only minus is that there was no gym/fitness center or swimming pool. I definitely would stay here again.

Yelp
Tuve hotel was an excellent stay. Service and staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Ricky and Winkie were exceptional and made our stay extra special. They booked and recommended several reservations at high end restaurants for us - including a 2 Michelin star restaurant on very short notice. The rooms are spacious and modern. Beds were comfortable and the hotel provided many amenities to make our stay comfortable (beverages, coffee, toiletries, even a smart phone). The aesthetics and umbeyonce of the lobby, rooms and hotel overall were very trendy and appealed to us as young adults. Highly recommend and would stay again.
