Twilight Rainier

This spot is a solid choice for good food and drinks, especially if you're out late—kitchen stays open until 12am, which is a rare find. The menu has tasty options that really satisfy. While the atmosphere isn’t perfect and could use a bit more charm or energy, the quality of the food and drinks more than makes up for it. Worth a visit!

A friend & I landed here after staff from local restaurant/pubs consistently recommended Twilight to us on our late night search for food. The bartender Elias intuitively kept our waters refilled for hours, responding promptly to any requests we had while equally giving us space to chatter amongst ourselves. We ate a burger & nachos, had a strong rum & coke in the delightful, warm, environment with vibey tunes. It was a homey, safe environment of staff that are palpably comfortable with each other. We left so content & hydrated.

I’ve only been to this place twice and it’s been in the last month joining friends that frequent. I love this place. The ambience is so cool and unique. The other night they were vibing Cumbia music and it felt funky with a mash up of the eclectic workshop class from the 80s type of retro. I’ve been told the cocktails are great. I was sticking to Vitamin R, totally wish though that they had Tavern Beer! I ordered the chicken strips and fries. It was 13.75 and a banger deal, like they were good and those side sauces! They were not some industry, frozen stuff, and the sauces, fire. It’s a really nice welcoming spot. I wish it wasn’t so far. I would totally crush that place more often. I’m so glad it’s there.

Twilight Rainier is just what the doctor ordered this week after meeting with clients all week. First time at the Twilight Rainier. I miss going to Twilight Exit back in my old hood 🥂🍾💯🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽This is a dive bar 🍸 with class and Sista Sara behind the bar displayed excellent customer service skillset to me and other's on my first visit. Very chill vibes with sprinkles of The Old Hummingbird Saloon folk's in the Twilight Rainier mix of chill people. My compliments to the chef 👨‍🍳 Trey on the Happy hour Burger 🍔 and Wings 🍗🍗🍗it really hit the spot. We walked in yesterday somewhat accidentally, because even from outside, it looked welcoming and had a good vibe. We had been crawling beer pubs and enjoyed some great beers on tap. Service was wonderful (thanks Jada and Jim). I would have liked to try the food, but we had already picked up takeout somewhere else. Perhaps, we'll go back another time.

Rude bartender and owner. Only been here 2x and disappointed both times. Burgers tasted good but didn’t come with fries My husband’s beer was warm and they didn’t have some standard drinks that most bars have.

Classic Dive Bar! Popped in here unexpectedly while in the neighborhood. Sat at the bar. Enjoyed good conversation with the cook on break and the bartender. Those around me were chatty. Delicious chicken sandwich. Much more so than I expected. Tater tots for the win!

Was glad to have a chance to check out the new brunch menu at Twilight on Rainier—esp. in their new outdoor seating area. Chilaquiles with house made tortilla chips (yes, of course, I added the house made carnitas—duh!) were super delish, as were the berry pancakes and brunchy beverages. Well done on the masks, spaced out seating, and pandemic pivot to add brunch to the mix!

Cool spot! I love these little hidden gems. Even though everyone seems to know all about Twilight, I hadn't heard of them. I really enjoyed my time there and the food was good! Just got a salad, but it was really nice and filling. Ambience is eclectic, funky and fun. Saw some decor that I hadn't seen since the 70's! Very cool!

Came by Twilight on Rainier after a frisbee game with my team and had a great time. I love that they are not only open late, but have an extensive menu AND allowed us to move around the tables for our big group! I got a Grilled Cheese which came with a side, so I decided on Tater Tots. This was probably the best decision of my entire day. The grilled cheese is made with potato bread! There were so many tater tots! I loved it and would looove to come back. Also so cute that they give you flags from different countries as your placement parker.

Probably the best BLT in the city, not to mention the best Bloody Mary's on Sundays when the ever fabulous Natalie is working. You will not be disappointed!

Suuuper awkward experience. My wallet was recently lost and so I'm in between physical cards, and I'm so used to the versatility of Apple pay or tap to pay. My boyfriend and I are visiting family over his mother's passing away; so we stopped into his close relatives frequented bar, and ordered two drinks when my boyfriend asked if they took tap to pay, of course they do not... So I unfortunately only had $10 in cash. I've bartended for 10 years in all types of settings and never in my life have I seen a bartender attempt to pour out "half of a drink so that we would be even" and try to present it back to the customer. It BLEW MY MIND. Of course my boyfriend just said nevermind to the tap IPA that he just ordered, so he just requested a water instead. They charged me for mine and we gave him the change. Anyway, probably would pick a less serious bar that doesn't appreciates sinks more than the customer. Strange as f&$+.

Love this place. Open late, good beer selection, awesome staff. A real neighborhood late night bar vibe. 7 days a week. Just a solid local watering hole m, full bar with a decent kitchen that's open late. If you live anywhere near here, you need to know this place. Recommend strongly.

We live down the street and come here often for an easy meal option or happy hour. The food is WAY better than a neighborhood bar has any business being - limited menu, mainly burgers but they really put some thought into how they dress each option up. (The Ryan's Pickled Blue Burger is my favorite!) I am vegetarian, any of the items on the menu can be made vegetarian friendly with field roast patties or Impossible burgers. Their Brunch options are also really great and incredibly affordable! Divey atmosphere and friendly staff. I really appreciate the effort they have put into making sure all guests follow COIVD protocols; this was the first place I ever had my vaccination card checked! Outdoor sidewalk seating and a small firepit also available. Pleasant but a bit noisy as it fronts on Rainier.

I happened to work in Seattle this Sunday and was looking for a good Caesar salad where they make their dressing in house. I'm always on the hunt for the best Caesar salad dressing and saw on yelp they make theirs on site. The place is so cute! I love the ambiance. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The outside has hanging twinkle lights under a wooden awning over the sidewalk and inside there's booths and the decor is pretty retro. They also have the old school table top arcade games! The bartender greeted me with a smile and since the place was pretty empty we got to talking. She was super cool and friendly and made me an awesome margarita (their mix is also made in house). The menu on Yelp is a little outdated as far as prices but not too much of a difference. My Caesar was only $8.50 and that and my drink together cost about $15. Service was fast. I forget the bartenders name but she was there for the brunch time til 5, and she has blue hair! I hope the owner sees this and tells her how great she was!

Dark and divvy with a mostly mid-century decor, this bar has a variety of hearty, tasty burgers. The menu includes salads along with more common bar food.

Ordered the Buffalo wings and Greek fries for take out and they were absolutely disgusting. Fries were extremely Undercooked and very soggy, and the Buffalo wings were slimy, undercooked and had no seasoning. I tried throwing the food back in the oven to no avail. After attempting to eat the wings again I gave up and just threw all the food away. Definitely not worth the $45 we spent!

This place is awesome. The menu is very similar to The Twilight Exit. Try the peanut butter bacon burger it's amazing! The staff are also super friendly and experienced. Great people to interact with. I wish there were more games like pinball, but the space isn't as big as the other location.

Very friendly neighborhood bar. Visited during the week and the bartender was very friendly. I would give five stars based on service but the food and drinks need a bit of work. I ordered the fried chicken and it's a huge order. I mean I'm sure I got about 15 wings. I was so excited until I bit into them. Super bland and could only taste the flour coating. Just some extra salt and pepper and they would be good. I ordered a Manhattan and a Hennessy and ginger beer. The Manhattan was good but the Hennessy and ginger beer was flat and way too sweet from the mix they use. I definitely will be back but hoping for a better experience next time because I loved the vibe.

I've been to this place a couple times. Very friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, follows covid rules. The menu is pretty good and I'm never disappointed with what I order. Great place to just sit with a friend and have a hamburger and a couple drinks.

Waitress was super nice and helpful and friendly and blah blah blah! They're definitely in their opening stages with their partially curated menu but the kegs were fresh and the Jameson was strong. Overall impressed even though we miss oh so dearly Union Bar.

I love that they are working on outdoor space to get us through this. Heaters and a fire top table, with cover for when it's raining. Their food is top notch - the BLT and onion rings bring me joy. Don't forget about brunch. They have a Prosecco/apperol/orange drink that is divine! Great people, great food.

Interesting that my review seems to have disappeared. I go to their other two restaurants and they are great, the Rainier location needs to get it together. I keep giving them a try but they just never seem to hit the even the lowest bar. See my photo of the shortest pour in Seattle.

I love this place. Moved into the neighborhood a few months ago and a go to spot for a really good burger and beer. Totally divey if you are into that. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Had the food after not going for a couple of years. For the prices charged, the burger was small and extremely basic. The fries may very well have been a McDonalds size small, reheated. This is easily the most disappointing slide in quality I've experienced in the last few years.

Great place to grab a drink and pick up some awesome comfort food. I live near by and stop for brunch on the weekends all the time. The breakfast sandwiches are my fav. They also have great specials! Owners are friendly and the food is pretty damn good for bar food. Plus, it's open late for when you get munchies.

Awesome burger with a side salad with delicious honey mustard dressing. I really appreciated that the burger had a nice charcoal grill taste that I wasn't expecting! Made it extra good. I ordered it delivery and it came really quickly through their delivery service. I've never been in person only for takeout delivery but based on the burger and the salad I would go in when life gets back to normal.

Fantastic food and they do takeout right now to reduce safety risks from covid. Ordered a Bacon burger and Ryan's pickled blue burger with fries and a monster load of tater tots. Delicious burgers and no joke a great amount of well cooked sides! Ready super quick and place was spotless with one really nice bartender who stood far back from the takeout order. Loved this place for drinks when we aren't in this holding pattern but takeout food right is a great boost of happiness that's affordable. Good stuff and thank you!

Very welcome addition to a great area. Wonderful variety of booze, great beer selection and amazing food. The tots are a must try in this place! Good, reasonably priced with a SUPER nice and welcoming bartender. What else cam you ask for???

I've been about a dozen times now. I really really want to like this place as I frequent Twilight on cherry but I can't. The drinks are hit and miss and the food every time has been mediocre at best. The last time I ordered a burger the cook put jalapeños instead of pickles on it. So sad given how good their other 2 places a

Honestly I think it would have been really great food but the order was like refrigerator cold when we received it which was very disappointing for a $75 order. I wish I could give more stars but we didn't experience great food since it was so cold and stale

Chicken tenders and tator tots. Cold beer. So yummy. Out of town guests loved it too.

We went on a Friday night, it was full but not too packed. Ordered food and beer at the bar. Big, messy, delicious burgers and sandwiches. Great onion rings. Not a huge selection of beers on tap, quality over quantity. Would 100% go back.

Fried chicken dinner knocked my socks off and the coleslaw is so yummy. Their chicken wings are the shit too.

This place is just what the neighborhood needs--a friendly bar with good food, great music, and strong drinks. I've been going to the original Twilight for years and am so happy they opened a spot so close to my house. I was very pleased with the service and the vibe, and best of all, it's dog friendly! I'm sure we'll be back many times.

full bar, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and surprisingly delicious pub grub! I wish they offered some food portions that are a little more, er, human sized (the food is REALLY big). but whatevs. my husband and I love this place. it has definitely made it into heavy rotation for "treat-yo-self" nights. Downtown Hillman City is really turning into a great destination, and I'm so happy that Twilight has joined us!
