I wanted to love this place! Traveled to give it a try yet didn’t meet the quality I was desiring or close to other lobster rolls I’ve had in Brooklyn/New York or overall. It definitely looks better than it tastes; this is my own personal opinion. Also, quality and price don’t seem to match. I would give it a try though if you’re in the area. Thank you, Twist!

I ordered the Deluxe special boil with garlic butter sauce and my wife ordered the shrimp roll. I thought the clams and shrimp were exceptionally big and juicy, and the garlic bread that comes with it is perfect to dip in the sauce. Delicious meal!

The crawfish is not fresh, tasted bitter and has bad smell, couldn’t eat and returned it to the shop. They didn’t check the food but responded that it’s because we are not used to crawfish, I had many times, it’s clear that the meat of it already not firm. At the end they agreed to exchange other seafood for this order, appreciate that. Apparently they don’t worry about the quality of the ingredients, didn’t check and ask more. Just won’t order here again.

Lobster roll , garlic butter mussel very tasty & fresh. Lobster soup clam chowder just soso. Not real surprise. Service is very good. Definitely will be back for other seafood item next time.

Definitely better the first two times I came around, this time the clams was not too fresh and the sauce was a bit bland. Needed a lil bit extra seasoning or something was missing. Garlic bread was still good, ambiance was just as good, and very calming background music. Service was attentive, we were taken good care of and the bathroom is spacious and smells good.

1-10 it was a 9 food was great fresh and they were very attentive happy hour is a must for us oysters are delicious and shrimp cocktail a def must

Highly recommend it!!! The food was excellent. The service was great. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Everything was so good that I forgot to take some of the pictures. The service was on point and highly attentive. If you like seafood, this is the place to go. Everything was very fresh, including the salad. The place was completely clean. I would definitely go back. There are plenty of municipal parking spots across the street.

My fiancé and I love this restaurant ❤️ I almost don’t want to review it because I want to keep it to myself. The seafood boil: whole lobster with headless shrimp in garlic butter sauce + corn and potatoes is perfection. I appreciate all the tools especially the scissors! You get all the gloves your heart can desire. If you love Claw Daddy’s and The Boil and similar establishments but you don’t want the wait, go here.

What a delight to find this spot ! Hidden in a neighborhood that dont have many restaurants. So glad the bf suggested this spot for father's day dinner. We came pretty late with no RSVP and was seated right away. I must say they have really good cocktail drinks here ! We ordered a few to try and really fell in love with the coconut martini! The seafood boil is very straight to the pt, i really enjoyed the "medium" sauce that we got on the side, and my bf and bro both enjoyed the garlic oil sauce. Comes with garlic bread for dipping! Oysters were also a hit! They have a private room on the 2nd floor which is great for parties! Saw a party finish up and came downstairs. Theres also a bar upstairs that comes included with the room. Next time we plan for an event will definitely consider coming here!

I felt like having some healthy fish like a pan fried or seared fish. In this case there weren't any. Unfortunately, they only had fried and a lot of shellfish, so I decided to have the lobster bisque is actually really good. The garlic bread was pretty decent to dump into the soup. The sweet potato fries they were all stuck together not that crispy. We ordered the lobster roll delicious overpriced, but delicious linguine with meatballs. I'm never gonna order that again, very bland it was like a mixture of Italian and Japanese meat dumpling flavor. I pretty much left half of it. The place is nice. Service is OK. I don't think I'm coming back..

Came back with expectation to be as good as the last time i went. But was disappointed bc the clams was not too fresh, the sauce was not too flavorful and a lil bit watery almost. Needed more seasoning in their sauces. Service was very friendly and space is very clean, the ambiance is very calming almost felt like an aquarium spa. Garlic bread was good as usual with the combo, and we tried their spicy twist chicken wings, which was tasty gave me kfc china vibes. I am disappointed tho, in their seafood boil this time.

This seafood boil restaurant is a true gem! The seafood is incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. The portions are generous, ensuring you leave feeling satisfied. Plus, their garlic bread is the perfect accompaniment, adding an extra layer of deliciousness to your meal. It's a must-visit for seafood lovers!

The picture does not do this clam chowder justice, it was so delicious, I will literally make the 45 minute track to get this clown chowder, it has actual nice big hardy chunks of clams.

Happy Hour - $1 oysters, $1 clams; cocktails are BOGO 50% off, beer is $4 for Heineken or Corona, $6 draft & IPAs. Small selection of draft/IPA but not bad for a small seafood joint. After HH was over, we ordered a seafood pot along with wings, calamari, fries. Taste was mediocre, nothing wow factor about the taste. Waitstaff was attentive and responsive. We stayed for a few hours and they weren't rushing our party at all. The place was quite lively, patrons full of laughter and chatter.

Came here for lunch and it was underwhelming, but service was very good. We got a dozen oysters and they didn't taste fresh- the oysters were dry and completely lacked any sweetness or saltiness. My shrimp burger was okay, lacked seasoning and the bun looked old. I think they'd be better off serving po boys bc I didn't like having the tail on in my burger. On the bright side, the sweet potato fries were really good, way better than the normal fries. My friend ordered a regular cheeseburger with fries and it was just fine- average tasting burger. Overall, I may revisit to try their other seafood but was so disappointed in their oysters (wish I had taken a photo because they looked so sad and dry).

Food was so delicious and filling! Delectable and More than exceptional. Workers were so greeting and patient. I felt more than comfortable talking to them! The music, the cleanliness, and the warm air gives this place a 5 star in my books

My friend and I decided to check out Twist Seafood and Bar around 5:30pm on a Sunday. If you're in Brooklyn to check out Industry City, you should definitely stop by Twist! They have happy hour on the weekdays but we went on a Sunday so were not able to partake. The outdoor dining area is quaint and lovely, especially since the surrounding area is not too busy. Tables are socially distanced and they make good use of the call button for service (the last time I've seen those was in Korea!). We ordered clam chowder ($6), 1 pound of clams with garlic butter sauce ($14), and a lobster roll ($15). The meal also came with complimentary garlic bread, which was warm, flavorful, and the perfect crisp level. In fact, everything at Twist had great flavor! For the clam chowder, they did not skimp on the clams, and they were huge and juicy (see picture!). My only critique was that I thought the soup base could've used a touch more seasoning. All seafood used in the dishes we ate tasted fresh and delicious. The lobster roll also had a generous serving of lobster. At first, I was worried the clams were not going to be enough for me, but the mix of clams, potatoes, and corn was more than enough. The next time I stop by, I may try the mild hot sauce instead of the garlic butter. My stomach is a little sensitive to an overpowering butter flavor, and was starting to get slightly queasy. Overall, I thought that Twist offered seafood at reasonable prices with generous servings. I'm sure they will do well post-covid, but are also operating in a covid-safe manner. I left happy as a clam!

Pretty solid seafood resturant, always drive by when going to Costco but never had chance to try it. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Wings - huge wings and very tasty. Seafood linguine - sauce needed some salt but I like food on the salty side in general. Seafood was very fresh especially the shrimp, not sure what they do to it but it has a nice bounce when you bite into it. Seafood deluxe - all the seafood was fresh with the exception of the crawfish, tasted frozen. The sauce (Twist Sauce) itself was not the best I had, something just felt missing. Overall it was good, just doesn't compare to places like The Boil which for me is the gold standard.

Fresh, delicious and yummy What else I can ask for? We ended ordering two dozens oysters. mussels and fried calamari and sweet potato fries are additions to our feast. Definitely coming back for second, third and so on.....

Giving this place a second chance. Lobster bisque is great. The plate is rather small for the price ($11), but it had 6 large chunks of lobster, thus can't complain Pina colada was Ok. Snow crab bag had 5 legs (what they call "one cluster") for $38, with two clusters the price is $62 (in other restaurants one portion is one crab (10 legs) for about $35) . Also 1/2lb of other seafood of your choice. Lots of potatoes, corn and garlic bread. The taste was good. Service was great this time around (only 3 tables taken on Monday afternoon though). Took 1 star off for the prices, my opinion it's about 35% over value. Will come back

Came here for happy hour. Drinks were nice and strong! Not cheap with the alcohol! We definitely appreciated it! Oysters were only $1 each! Great place!!!!

Great service, the waitress serving our table was very accomodating of all my questions. The garlic bread was very good! Will definitely order that again. The twist sauce is tasty and I like that they have a very spicy option. For side orders, they have pasta, corn, potato, but no rice. Wish they do because I love eating this type of food with rice. Good selection of ipa beers. Ample amount of seating. Didn't have to wait to get seated. Will definitely be back! Close to industry city. I love going there and now I can come here right after. Will definitely be back!

I came here for dinner in September when it was still nice enough to sit outside for outdoor dining. They have booths set up inside a open structure with a roof and 3 sides covered which was great so you don't have to worry about rain or breathing in exhaust fumes from cars driving by. The food unfortunately was just ok. Maybe I came on an off day since there are so many other reviews raving about the quality of the seafood. I ordered the king crab and clams combo with twist sauce and my friend ordered the snow crab and shrimp combo with garlic butter sauce. We both agreed that the king crab and snow crab meat was very salty on it's own. Usually, the meat itself is sweet. The shrimp was fine but my clams were small and had quite a bit of sand in them. The sauce was also lacking in flavor. I'm comparing it to the more popular whole sha-bang sauce from "The Boiling Crab" in LA or even the copycat sauce from "The Boil" in NYC. We ordered the sweet potato fries as appetizer to share which were really good.

Oysters are really fresh! It's $1 per oyster if you come during happy hour. The baked clam was okay, clam was raw when served (usually cooked when I go to other seafood places). Clams had a really fishy taste. Got 2 bags of shrimp and clam mix (one with garlic butter and other is spicy flavored). Also got snow crab legs. All combos come with garlic bread which was good but not enough garlic on there. The garlic butter flavor was pretty bland. I recommend spicy if you want a kick (wasn't super spicy). The boil was well cooked and their shrimps are huge! Service is really fast and the staff was friendly.

What a Brooklyn gem! The only think I regret is not trying this place sooner. We enjoyed a true seafood dinner tonight with friends and kids oh boy did we all enjoy. We had a delicious dinner which included the jumbo shrimp cocktail, lobster bisque, clam chowder, escargot, king crab legs, lobster rolls, and a whole lobster. Everything was absolutely divine and fresh. We enjoyed the flavors of each dish including the garlic bread that was paired delightfully once dipped in the garlic butter sauce. The staff was very attentive and extremely nice making the whole dining experience even that much more better. We all agreed will be back soon and highly recommend this restaurant.

My happiest hour is at this place from 3-6pm. Finally I've found a place close by my neighborhood that serves up good Oysters and clams. Granted, you've probably driven past this place a million times and wonder what's inside. Next time, take a pit stop into this oasis of seafood and you won't regret it. Things I ordered: Raw Oysters - fresh and tasty. Raw Clams - fresh and tasty. Crab legs with garlic butter - yummmmm Crawfish - good but could've been more juicy. The sauce flavor was really great though. Linguini with shrimp - al dente with umami flavor, really good Fried chicken wings - good, but nothing special. Just needed something non seafood to grub on. The buttermilk ranch that come with it is really good though. Fried fish - this was waaaaaaay better than I expected. Seems basic but they hit this one out of the park. Sweet potato fries- this is fantastic, ordered twice Regular Fries- super basic, does the job. Wish it was as good as sweet potato fries.

Thursday, July 6, 2023 Mid Afternoon table for 6. Warmly welcomed and sat at an 8 topper so we could have more space. Hennessy Shot for the birthday girl 3 Corona Extras 1 Ginger Ale Happy Hour raw clam(6) and oysters(6) $1 each. These were very fresh and served on ice with cocktail sauce, lemon wedges and Tabasco. YUM 1 TWIST Shrimp Salad. 1 Snow crablegs with Shrimp in garlic butter sauce. By the final look of the bag...it was good to the last bite. 2 Seafood Ultimate Linguines...1 with Creamy White sauce and 1 with spicy TWIST sauce. Both dishes were very flavorful and nice amount of assorted seafood. I would just add a little more pasta and garlic bread with this dish. 1 Seafood Deluxe Linguine with shrimp and mussels. She is a picky eater so, not sure how she liked her dish...but, she didn't have much to take home. 1 Lobster Bisque...lots of lobster and nice consistency as well as flavor. 1 pound of Crawfish with Garlic Butter and bread. They gave a lot of Crawfish and the flavor and texture were spot on. Courtesy Birthday Cheesecake slice which was a nice touch.

Came here on an early Friday evening for a mini birthday celebration. I don't typically drink, but they have a very extensive beer menu and they sell by the pitcher so a total bonus if you like that. Their baked mussels are absolutely amazing. Cheesy and creamy! We got the largest party platter that feeds 7-8 people, we had 8 and it was enough to feed us all sufficiently. We had a couple of people in our group that have stomach issues and couldn't eat anything spicy so we got the garlic butter platter, but they were nice enough to also provide us the spicy twist sauce on the side for the rest of us. The garlic butter didn't have much flavor, but the spicy twist was definitely delicious. I love that they have little baby cuttlefish as I feel like most boil places don't have that. I do wish they had more flavors of sauces, but honestly that twist flavor was so good that I probably wouldn't choose any other ones. They have outdoor dining, but right now it's too hot for that. Bonus is that there is a lot of street parking in the area though

I've been to Twist Seafood Restaurant & Bar twice, once for takeout and another for dine in. Both experiences were great and the food were very well seasoned. Takeout experience: The seafood boil was double bagged. The raw oysters and jumbo cocktail shrimp had ice packs to go with. Overall, packing was secure and thoughtful. I would highly recommend their Lobster Rolls, it is packed with large chunks of lobster, Mayo, and celery bits. A fantastic blend of flavors. Their garlic bread is soft but crunchy. The seafood boil comes with two type of sauces, the spicy twist sauce and the garlic butter, both of which lean towards the creamier side (I think there's heavy cream in the sauce. Just a warning for those lactose intolerant!). I'm not the biggest fan of the creamy sauce but it was still good. Each seafood boil order also comes with free sides of garlic bread, corn, and potatoes. Raw oysters and Jumbo cocktail shrimp were also amazing. Dine-in experience: Employees took COVID precautions by measuring our temperature and having us write down our contact information. They have an large outdoor seating area and are also open for indoor dining. Seafood boil is consistently good and we tried their popcorn chicken today which was super crunchy and flavorful. This place is a great place to get seafood and both my experiences have been wonderful! Also, they automatically include tip in their dine-in receipt, so look out for that! :)

Food and service was great! Only negative is there appeared to be no heat. Definitely will visit again during Spring or summer!

I was looking for a happy hour oyster place and came across twisted seafood. Started with a dozen oysters 2 coconut mojitos. The oysters were fresh and juicy. I wasn't too impressed by the mojitos could've been better. Mine had way too much soda. But it wasn't the worse mojito I've ever had lol. Then I ordered the shrimp burger with fries & 2 coconut martinis. The shrimp burgers were by bomb!!!! The coconut martinis was good too. Then we finished off with the baked oysters. It was good. Idk if I will order the baked oysters again though. The waiters were cool. Pretty chilled spot. They played pop music. I will be back soon. Hopefully on a sunny day

The place was quiet for happy hour on a Monday, it was 4:30. I started with 6 clams very tasty and 6 oysters not so tasty on the 1/2 shell $1.00 each still a good deal. $4.00 Corona bottle also a good deal. I went with the combo Shrimp with heads on and crawfish, medium spice. Very good! They include corn still good for late in the season and potatoes too many potatoes but good. It also came with garlic bread and surprisingly it was very good. Service was ok nothing great but not bad either. I will give this place a try again for sure.

We were in the neighborhood and ordered something light for lunch. Honestly, we ordered originally the fried chicken burger and fries which came with a free soda. When the chicken burger came over I couldn't identify what park of the chicken it was. The service we said it was the thigh. It didn't resemble a thigh. So I sent it back tack for the shrimp burger. The shrimp burger came with 3 large pieces of shrimp I guess.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was empty so we got seated right away! We ordered the cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and it was so good. Too bad the burger itself was well done, but I also didn't specify what I wanted. The seafood bundle, we ordered lobster with clams, shrimp and sausage and I loved it! We ordered lemon garlic with baby spicy, and it was perfect for my parents who never like spicy! I can taste that the seafood is fresh, and sauce isn't overpowering like others. Can't wait to come back with more people so I can try their twist tray!!

3.5* Recommended to come here by my neighbors. It's three blocks from Costco so convenient for anyone who wants to go before or after grocery shopping. Inside has 10 tables (or more if you break up the four seats into two for two) and a handful of seats at the bar. No dividers between tables but they seat parties separate from each other (well there were only 3 parties when we went). They also have a tent thingy at the side of the restaurant for outdoor dining. I personally wouldn't wanna sit in their outdoor area because it's at the side of the restaurant without windows so you can't see what's going on inside and vice versa. Turns out it's run by Chinese people. They speak mando and a little bit of canto. Appreciate how they offered hot or cold water. Hot please~ I'm not interested in the seafood boil so I went with all the other things. Ordered: clam chowder, lobster bisque, baked oyster, seafood deluxe pasta with twist sauce, and lobster roll with sweet potato fries Clam chowder Lukewarm. It's not creamy (not necessarily the viscosity) and seafoody enough but I like how it has a lot of pepper and veggies. Lobster bisque Less warm than the clam chowder. Even worse is that the heat is uneven. Did they microwave this ? Tastewise I agree with other people that it's not as good as the clam chowder. I only took a sip and my impression is it reminds me of herbal grass jelly, not in a bad way. Baked oyster They have baked oysters, mussels, and clams but chose oysters because we thought they'd be most meaty. Turns out it's so tiny, smaller than the mussels and clams, like the size of a nickel. I don't like the mayo and roe added here. It overpowers the oyster and feels heavy in the mouth. Seafood deluxe linguine Chose the deluxe because it seemed to have a little bit of everything and I was too lazy to eat crab legs. Chose the twist sauce because it seems more special than marinara and cream. Waitress confirmed that it's a little spicy and that's all the details she gave. It's actually a cream sauce with garlic and some spicy oil. It smells better than it tastes. Not much flavor only a little heat. It came out quite watery which I wonder if it's because there's no pasta water to thicken it. I still think this is the best option out of the three sauces. Linguine is smooth but not chewy. Italians don't be offended but they told us they rinse it in cold water. Seafood overall was fresh. The cuttlefish was slightly too salty. Mussels were overcooked. Lobster roll with sweet potato fries The lobster roll filling had a lot of celery and lemon juice. It was really refreshing. The mayo was a bit too much for me. Lobster wasn't as sweet or juicy as I would like but overall ok. The bread was bad. It's so dry and rough. I can't tell if the lettuce layer between the bun and filling was supposed to prevent the bun from being soggy but parts of it still did. The bread isn't properly toasted. I don't see any color. It has very faint garlic flavor that I suspect if any was added. I'd like more garlic and butter please! Sweet potato fries were really good. They were still crunchy on outside and airy and fluffy on the inside when cold. They came out hot don't worry. They didn't seem oily so I wonder if they used an air frier or oven (maybe not because there weren't obvious patches of color). The soft drink offer they give for check ins is a fountain drink rather than a separate can. Also they give plastic utensils. I don't like that. Overall this place is solid considering the prices and seafood freshness. It just has a lot of room for improvement. Also I don't expect to crave for this type of food or any of their items.

So we have past by here a few times, but never stopped in. Of course now we decided to with Covid happening. They have great private outdoor dining booths set up. The food was amazing, sauce was the bomb! Also had the clam chowder. Got here early so we took advantage of the $1.00 oysters. Had the 5 points and they were fresh and clean. We have the King Crab combo and the Seafood deluxe with Linguine with the spicy twist sauce. I would definitely recommend coming here to newbies, I know we will be back again!! Only issue we had was the surprise 10% COVID charge. They should have posted a sign saying it.

Came here at night, the neighborhood can be appear a little daunting at night. Twist seafood is on a corner of a quiet and unsuspecting street, surrounded by tall buildings. Their outdoor dining setup, however is very nice and welcoming. The waitress was very friendly and placed a call button on our table in case we needed to call a waitress. We ordered a snow crab legs and shrimp combo, lobster bisque, and calamari and fries. For the price, the seafood was of decent portion. The combo came with garlic bread, and corn and potatoes. We got the special twist sauce in medium. It was the right amount of spicy but could have been more flavorful. The lobster bisque was yummy and had small pieces of lobster meat throughout. The calamari and fries were very crispy and the calamari was tender. Overall experience was very good.

Delicious! Fresh seafood and excellent service! We ordered Snow crabs and clams combo with garlic butter sauce (comes with corn, potatoes and garlic bread). Lobster Roll with fries and another order of clams with Garlic butter sauce (also comes with corn, potatoes and garlic bread). The potatoes and corns soaks up all the delicious sauce. Snow crabs are super fresh and clams are plump and juicy. Tons on meats on Lobster roll with a slight kick of spicy mayo. Will definitely come back.

Their sauce for the seafood-a-bag is very creamy and flavorful. Aside from the Boil, most other restaurants lack flavor in their sauce but Twist's sauce is buttery and creamy.

Ordered for delivery and it came piping hot! + extensive menu and great hh prices + order came with complimentary garlic bread + clam chowder was hearty and tasty + the seafood deluxe was flavor packed (shrimps were huge) but the mild was a bit spicy for me haha + order was double bagged, there was no leaking and gloves were provided!! ** will definitely visit for their hh drinks and oysters!!

Twist is one of those hidden gems in the outskirts of a neighborhood who might not know about it, seeing it's on 3rd ave below a highway overpass and a few blocks from Costco - so industrial. I have dined in here a few times and every time it has delivered on many aspects - service, value, and food. Given the location, it doesn't draw too large of a crowd so perhaps when there are customers the owner (who might be also a server) is happy to please. The seafood is generally always fresh and their Twist sauce is so great that it is difficult for us to try other sauces. The calamari is sort of a pass (too much breading), but the wings are awesome if you're looking for an app to share.

Twist Seafood Restaurant is one of the newest additions to Sunset Park. Its location under the BQE on 3rd avenue puts it at a disadvantage in terms of being a "trendy" neighborhood to visit, but I feel this restaurant deserves to survive and thrive. While in an older part of the neighborhood, Twist definitely spent some time and money to build out its space. Along one side is a sushi bar with the kitchen in the back. The main seating area has a long lounge-like bench seat along one wall with tables that can be shifted around for multiple configurations in the restaurant. The walls are decorated with beautiful drawings of seafood that look like they could have been drawn with a brush. The lighting is not too bright, not too dark - it's just right to set a comfortable mood for a dinner with friends or a date. I was very comfortable and happy in the space. My friends and I ordered several items to share. We started with raw oysters, which were on sale during Happy Hour. Those were good, a tad smaller than I'm used to but still tasty and worth the price. We also tried their chicken wings, which had a very *thick* batter on them but they had a nice crunch and flavor. I wouldn't go out of my way for them however. The main event was a giant boil bowl that we all shared. We had lobster, snow crab legs, shrimp and mussels galore. We also had some potatoes in the mix. We wound up getting the Twist sauce, which is a tangy, slightly spicy red sauce. At least, on the surface. The lower we went down our bowl, the more intense the sauce became as a lot of the spice had pooled at the bottom. It was fantastic! The seafood all tasted fresh and the shrimp were big and plump. Overall we left very satisfied with our food. If you've never been to a restaurant such as this, I do recommend wearing the gloves and bibs provided as it will spare you a potential mess. When you're ripping shells apart and so on, stuff tends to go flying! The service at Twist was very friendly and helpful, especially when we had question. I came back again but on a Saturday night for dinner with a group of 3 people. It was still happy hour until 7pm so we ordered a half dozen of $1 clams. They also have 50% off drinks. We ordered the $60 special combo (1 whole lobster, 2 clusters of snow crab legs, shrimp, garlic bread, corn, potatoes) with Twist sauce. The seafood was fresh and the very large. It was enough food for four people (or three very hungry people). I like that they serve the boil in a large metal bowl as opposed to a plastic bag so it's easier to share in a group. The Twist sauce was flavorful and had a good kick to it. The corn and potatoes were cooked and seasoned well. The garlic bread was so delicious, crispy and garlicky. Service was excellent, very fast and friendly. I will definitely be back (and not just because I live nearby but it's a plus).

Came here for a family dinner on the weekend. There's big spacing between tables and lots of hand sanitizers at each end corners. Wait staff came over a few times to hand out additional napkins and gloves for our table. We started off with a dozen Raw Oysters and half dozen baked Oysters. Both were fresh and delicious. Next, came the Twist Tray boil that serves just about my six family members. It has a whole lobster, snow crab legs, mussels, clams, baby squids, and whole bunch of crayfish. The sides are a bit confusing and the waitress didn't really explain to me whether the tray comes with what types of sides and the amount. My table decided on the Garlic butter sauce for the boil, turns out to be a bit too greasy for all the seafood to be drenched in. Thank goodness there's some boiled potatoes and corn on the bottom to soak up some of the oil. There wasn't much meat on those crayfish nor the crab legs, but I thoroughly enjoyed those baby squids (yum). The house Clam Chowder was served lukewarm; had better chowder elsewhere. Because this was to celebrate a birthday, they allows us to bring a cake in for dessert. Yelp check-in to get a free can of soda!

I ordered the lunch special from Twist. The lunch special can be ordered between the hours of 11 am - 2 pm. I went with the lobster roll and it came with a salad, fries and a soda - all for $15. The entire meal was delicious and just writing about it now makes me a hit hungry. Usually in other restaurants, a lobster roll costs $18 for just the roll so I was very pleased with the price. The staff were pleasant and quick. I picked up my lunch and everything was packaged beautifully and safely so nothing would tip over. The inside of the restaurant also features line drawings of sea creatures. Maybe one day when it becomes safer, I'll dine indoors. My coworkers had the burger lunch special and the other one had the shrimp burger lunch special. I may just have to try that too! Wishing your restaurant all the success!

Such an amazing value for a very tasty lobster roll with a side of crunchy sweet potato fries! The lobsters are meaty and as you can see in the picture, it's a very generous helping of lobsters. Delicious flavors and it's not the same as other lobster rolls, it's better in taste, value, and quality! Definitely will come back to try all their other amazing seafood and pasta selection!

Came here with friends for the holiday promotion. It was a good holiday deal. The holiday combo came with a lobster, shrimp, crab legs, potatoes, and corn. The shrimp and crab legs are good size portions. The garlic bread was fresh toasted. I prefer the twisted sauce over the garlic butter.

Well, Third Avenue in Sunset Park is not what it was. Blocks once beset with prostitutes and drug dealers are slowly changing to places where delicious, fresh seafood is available. Twist is a refreshing local seafood spot. The dark furniture and white walls with modern artistic depictions of crabs and shrimp give a cool laidback vibe. Great for a romantic dinner, or unwinding after a long week of work. Delicious calamari, warm garlic bread, and beer. I had 1.5 pounds of delicious shrimp in a medium spicy Twist sauce. The right level of flavor and spice. My husband had the Whole Lobster in Garlic Butter. Everything was delightful and FILLING. There was definitely more than 1.5 pounds of shrimp. Each one cooked to perfection, a soft but tender crunch on each bite released a slight sweetness. The lobster was a rational size, tender and juicy. The service was spectacular. Courteous, timely and professional. Twist I can't wait to come back again and again!

Twist Restaurant It's Tuesday night And I'm hungry. This is my second time in the area and I've eaten at the smaller joints for easy hand food as I like to call it. Tonight I wanted more. A "real" dinner with that restaurant feel. Just down from the hotel is such a place; Twist Restaurant. It is a seafood restaurant with an excellent selection of craft beers both on tap and in the bottle. This place is worth the stop just for the beer. I ordered their Holiday Special; lobster with an add on of shrimp - super spicy. Garlic bread is seasoned well. Toasted and delivered hot. I actually let it cool before eating it. I didn't wait on other food. Did I tell you I was hungry? Ok. Overall impression is super positive. I loved the spicy. It had a nice bite, but didn't overpower the flavor in the seafood and veggies. Asian meets Low Country Boil. A great combination. They do split the lobster down the middle from top to bottom, so if you're squeamish about seeing the inside of the lobster, you might want to ask for an alternative presentation. I didn't ask if they had one, but it never hurts to ask. The shrimp were definitely jumbo. Peeled super easy and not over cooked at all, so the texture was spot on. Of course, corn and potatoes are ..... corn and potatoes. I did spring for dessert. They carry Hershey Ice Cream products. I will have to sing them In the ice cream presentation. It comes in a styrofoam 4oz cup. For storage and simplicity in serving, I get it. But I felt underwhelmed with that, but dang the ice cream was good. I can only assume the staff on hand were owners/management. This soon after thanksgiving is always tough on having a crowd, but I was the only diner. The restaurant is in an area not known for good eating places, but it appears the area is getting a makeover slowly and more places will be coming in. It's not far from the Industrial City area and Costco. If you want something off the beaten path with great beer and seafood, I'd encourage you to give this place a chance. I enjoyed the outdoor dining they had. Food was good, oysters were fresh, but the clams were a tad bit fishy. Overall, I had a great time with my coworkers and the food was pretty good. Sometimes the seafood can be a hit or miss, but it's okay, it happens sometimes.

I wish I can give a 0 star. I called the restaurant after traveling a long way to get some food for them to tell me they're close. It clearly saw they are open until 11:00pm if not open until 11pm why not change to the correct business hours. I'm a regular costumer
