Twisted Lobster is a must if you are in the Cape Coral area! Emily was our server and she was great. Great recommendations, great personality and attentive. The food is amazing and the menu has plenty of offerings! Best fish dip we had on vacation!

Google
Don't sleep on this place...it is fantastic! We had visited a few years ago, and were excited to return. Our server Emily was among our favorite we have ever had, as she made our dinner memorable. We had the smoked fish dip (incredible!), Lobster sampler, and the blackened pompano. It was all excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend

Google
Service was great. Food was mediocre. Fried grouper for the appetizer was the best part, with very limited flavor in the breading. Blackened pompano was a good 1st time. Over blackened, (too much salt). And slightly overcooked. The presentation was terrible. Looks like cookes threw the fish and rice on the plate and slid it across the table. Overall, decent place. Mid day Saturday. Business was slow. Probably won't return, but worth a visit to try out local restaurants.

Google
A great fish restaurant with rustic décor, top dishes at super fair prices. And the service staff are very friendly and funny. And we had the biggest chocolate cake I've ever seen 😅 We will definitely be back!

Google
Went here for lunch and it was exactly what we were looking for! Love the atmosphere and reminds me of exactly what a little “seaside” restaurant with great food would be! I was craving a lobster roll and they did not disappoint plus the fries were hot and perfectly crispy. My husband got the blackened swordfish tacos with their rice and he loved that as well! Thank you for a perfect lunch!

Google
An absolute must try. Great food, wonderful wait staff, and a buzzing dining area that just makes feel so comfortable.

Google
Absolutely love this place! Amazing deals and everything tastes so perfect. We come here every single time we visit FL and go multiple times lol. We can’t stay away!

Google
The “kick ass sea bass” I ordered was underwhelming, it had a fishy smell to it, was covered in sticky sweet sauce with lumpy mash and decent but droopy broccoli. Three stars because the other dishes my family ordered, they liked. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was lovely, loved the green plants.

Yelp
Boy oh boy Twisted Lobster did not disappoint. The service and food were amazing from the clam chowder, boomin shrimp with coconut rice, lobster Mac n cheese and even the lobster roll!

Yelp
We ate at twisted lobster several times while wintering in Cape Coral. We love the food and always had great service. Some faves are the lobster rolls, clam chowder, lobster tail and shrimp skewer and coconut rice, twin lobster tail meal. Their daily deals are delicious and well priced.

Yelp
I visited the Twisted Lobster during a trip to visit some friends in Fort Myers. I love seafood and this restaurant did not disappoint. We sat outside and were sat immediately so I did not get a good look at the inside of the restaurant but it was very busy. The outdoor seating area was clean and there were fans to keep diners cool. The staff was very friendly and quick. The food came out within 10 minutes of ordering and was super tasty. The lobster was fresh and hot. The fried white fish and chicken tenders were also fresh and delicious. Must try their chocolate cake. Huge portion! TLDR: clean, friendly, high quality seafood, must try if in Fort Myers area.

Yelp
This is a gem. Welcoming staff, a very nice interior and delicious food make this a great setting for a Triple D. She had the hot lobster roll and loved it, having road tested lobster rolls up and down the East Coast. I had the fried Triple Tail. Well seasoned and battered. Delish. We shared the fried grouper bites tossed in house bang sauce served with coconut rice. A great combination. My highlight was our shared bowl of the house rendition New England Clam Chowder. This award winning chowder is simply awesome. A little kick and a slight hint of bacon. This one will make you come back. This is a can't miss spot in the area.

Yelp
A New England Clam Shack in Ft. Myers We are fairly new full-timers in this area and have heard nothing but good things about this place so we gave it try yesterday. We expected to have a bit of wait when we arrived for dinner around 6:30, but when we got to their parking lot, just a few folks sitting outside and plenty of open parking. We went inside to put our name on the wait list and had a chance to look around. A surprisingly small place, just like many clam shacks we have visited in the New England area. A nautical theme decor with tall tables and chairs around the perimeter of the room and low tables and seating in the center. A raw bar sits on one side, but no seating there. Our hostess took our name, gave us a pager and we went outside to wait. There's a small seating area at the front of the building that is shielded from Del Prado by some palms. There are tables with umbrellas and chairs for those that might want to dine outside, and a bar. Several beers on tap, bottled beers and wine. I don't think they have cocktails. I had a 16 oz. Yuengling tap ($5.00) and we took a seat. Our pager went off just a few minutes later and we chose to sit inside as it was a very warm evening. Lindsey was our server and took our drink order right after we sat down - Iced Tea ($2.99). She was very polite and attentive and answered our questions and made sure we never ran out of drink. For starters we got the Whole Belly Clam appetizer ($16.99). They are legit! They are breaded lightly and fried fast. A great clam flavor, especially when biting into the belly where the flavor is fairly intense. Clam lovers like this. I had the Blackened Mahi Tacos ($14.99). Three flour tortillas, each with a base of a creamy cole slaw and a nice piece of Mahi with blackening seasoning and blackened just a bit, then topped with a mango salsa and cilantro. They were excellent. The seasoning was not spicy or salty and the fish was nice and moist. The center of the plate had a bowl of coconut jasmine rice. I am not a real rice person, but this was something else. I could, and did, eat a huge bowl of it! The rice had a light coconut flavor, just a little sweet and somewhat of a floral aroma. My wife had the Twin Tails entree ($27.99). This meal comes with two 4 ounce cold water lobster tails, mashed potatoes, lemon buttered broccoli and a cup of melted butter for dipping. The tails spent a little time under the broiler and were presented picture perfect setting on top of their shells. I could see my wife just melt with every bite of butter dipped lobstah. The mashed potatoes were ok and the broccoli was great - not the usual steamed and plated style. We saw so many great looking dishes delivered to other tables so I think this will become one of our go to places. There are great daily specials also so check them out.

Yelp
We had a great experience here! This staff is one of the best service staff around! We were told 25 minutes wait and ordered beer outside. The bartender said their computer was down to just tell the server what you ordered inside. Which we did and loved the trust from them. We ordered a bowl of clam chowder. It was very good. It has a little kick that we loved. My wife ordered shrimp and lobster she loved. I ordered the Ruben it was very good! Did not have room for dessert! Place is very well ran and highly recommended! It's a hole in the wall but the food and service is worth it!

Yelp
If you love lobster, this is the place. BUT ... don't be afraid to try their ribs. Carryout on Sunday very reasonable

Yelp
Seafood anyone? In the southwest corner of Florida. Cape Coral has a great casual seafood spot. The Twisted Lobster awaits your presence. With indoor and outdoor patio dining. Plates of Thai shrimp on coconut rice, a ribeye and lobster tail, creamy clam chowder and trays of oysters are on the menu. The prices are right. The service is great. There is a reason this place is packed but the wait is minimal. Support local businesses especially the good ones. Twisted Lobster is amazing. Eat here if you like seafood.

Yelp
My husband and I have been here a couple time. We've always gone on a Monday for lunch. The food is good and served quickly. I dislike the little stools I have to prop myself up on. This is about the only negative thing I have to say. I would much rather have booths or tables at regular height with comfortable seating. The food definitely makes up for it. The lobster roll is perfect as well as the clam chowder. That's about all we've ever had but the menu is pretty stacked. Everyone is friendly and very attentive. Would be 5stars I just can't get over the seating. On a side note this building used to house the best Chinese restaurant in the Cape. The dumplings were delicious. I think about it every time I come in here.

Yelp
Still Tracks. They've updated their air conditioning and it's more comfortable inside. Team Clam chowder and Haddock Basket. This is my #1 in Cape Coral

Yelp
Fun vacationing in Fort Myers twisted lobster is one of the best places I've eaten. The location is convenient, the prices are great, the staff is courteous and the food is amazing. I really love the laid-back atmosphere. Definitely one to put on your list if you're visiting town.

Yelp
Came by again for some food. Service girls were awesome. And the food was delicious. We always stop in here to get some snack before we head home. It's a great spot

Yelp
Yum! From start to finish our visit was sublime. Our server was attentive and had great recommendations. We started out with the Thai calamari and Fish Dip appetizers. I liked the calamari - i had never had anything quite like this. Since it was Monday they offered BOGO clam chowder so naturally we had to give it a go. WOW. Lives up to the hype ! So creamy and so much flavor packed intoo a soup. Would definitely go back just for that. I had the butter crusted haddock/ shrimp dinner and it was so heavenly. Even the sides rocked. Since it was my birthday i had to splurge and try the chocolate cake- whoaaaaa it was delish! The only thing i could complain about was the amount of noise from the highway but that is completely out of their control. Can't wait to come back and try something else!!!

Yelp
This place was phenomenal. The lobster bites is a must along with the crab legs and shrimp. Friendly and nice service with a little bit of a wait time but quick to serve. Loved the decor it's small but gives comfy vibes. I would recommend and come back for sure.

Yelp
Nice coastal atmosphere, waitress was nice, food was priced decently. My clam chowder was divine, best I've ever had! Soft shell crab on the other hand... no, it's a real shame because that's what we went there for, it tasted fishy, wasn't very meaty, breading was alright but tasted kind of stale. Coleslaw wasn't creamy or flavorful enough, fried and the chipotle mayo were good not worth the long drive for me, if you're local, get the clam chowder!

Yelp
I went on a Friday afternoon, all of the tables were full but no one was waiting to be seated so I just sat at the oyster bar. I ordered the lobster bites as an appetizer. It was good but I would've preferred a creamy dipping sauce instead of melted butter on the side. My entree was the blackened pompano that was cooked perfectly topped with a delicious mango pico de gallo. I never eat coleslaw until I tasted this one that had a sweet fruit in it that I believe was mango. I overheard the waitress telling another customer that they are known for their clam chowder so I ordered one to go. The clam chowder was amazing. The food came out quick, the staff was attentive, and I appreciated the manager taking time out to ask every customer how was everything Whenever I return to the Gulf Coast, I will definitely dine here again!

Yelp
Service was great ,friendly ,informative and attentive. I had the fried lobster. Omg it was amazing. Manger made a point to visit each table at least twice. I really appreciated that . Great job guys

Yelp
Great food good deals just too far away from Fort Myers Not a large place but worth the wait if you are there.

Yelp
Excellent service and fresh seafood at a great value. Apps and Meals had generous portions. Definitely will be back!

Yelp
OK, so why did it take me so long to go to the twisted lobster? I've been here for several years and I don't know why but I finally did on Saturday for lunch and I'm glad I did. Not too big inside so deal with it. Staff is awesome. Food is awesome. The clam chowder is great... not too chunky with the right amount of everything. Specials. Beer on tap and bottles. A simple but very enticing oyster bar waiting to be shucked. I was focused on my party and did not take pictures for my first visit, but I will in the future. The plates were empty when I left.

Yelp
Great Lobster place. This restaurant is very close to my assignment project. This restaurant also part of my bookmark sometime. Perfect time to try it. I am here to try their lunch special. I have the fried lobster basket. This basket has three lobster tails with 2oz warm water lobster tail. The tails are delicious. They have sliced the shell and the meat is exposed. Very easy to eat. Meat is fresh and magnificent. This dish also come with fries and slaw. I also got a clam chowder. The chowder is good. But the clam is not chunky. Service is really good. Love the lobster. Will come again.

Yelp
absolutely loved this place! was looking for crab legs while in town and so glad we stumbled upon this place. the inside was cozy and homey. the food was delicious, their mashed potatoes we even got a second order of them. the crab legs and butter with some old bay on top was SO GOOD. my fiancé got the fried grouper and grilled shrimp meal, that was just as good too! only thing keeping from a full 5 was the waitress. she was nice, no major complaints, we just sat with empty cups a little longer than we'd like. overall do recommend if you're in the area!

Yelp
So I had read all of the reviews and decided to check this place out. First off we went on a saturday for dinner and there was a line, we were told it would be a 40 min wait but we found seats at the bar after 20 min of waiting. The inside and outside have two sets of different aesthetics, its much more modern and looks upscale on the inside, although it is very small. The outside has more of a casual feeling, there are a couple of tables but more bar space, it is dog friendly which we appreciate. We sat at the bar and the servers were super friendly. We ordered oysters, one of their specials and the clam chowder. We loved, loved everything. The highlight of the night was the clam chowder, we took two bowls home. Great spot!

Yelp
My new Florida favorite! You can't beat the prices and the food is AMAZING! We had great service and when it started raining they quickly got us moved inside. My boyfriend has a peanut allergy and this place was great for accommodating that safely. I would 100% recommend this place.

Yelp
Good service , there specials are good deals . Fast with getting out the food . Don't get the rib special , not good taste like old left overs

Yelp
Great food and great service! Can't wait to come back. The grouper bites starter was delicious and light. The pompano tasted of the sea, and the jasmine rice was creamy and delicious.

Yelp
Food: honestly was pleasantly surprised. Pulled up on a Friday night, was a 40 minute wait, place had to be good so we waited, well worth it! They have great changing specials. Started out with the Boom Grouper Bites app, came with coconut rice and tossed in boom sauce, spectacular. Was an app but easily could've been a meal. I went with the fish and chips special as my entree and my wife got Shrimp Grouper Nugget basket and loved it. My fish and chips was white tail, perfectly battered and delicious, fries on par as well. Service: couldn't be any nicer, our server was passionate about how good the food was, steered us right in every direction. Ambiance: Small inside, variety of booths and high tops which might equate to their long waits, they have a small patio out front, don't be scared off, food well worth the wait.

Yelp
Got there at 830pm. Our food came FAST.it was my young son's bday and he wanted crab legs. The crab legs were good. Hubby got salad, I got Cajun fish which was just ok. We sat outside and at At 9pm the red haired bartender went around unplugging ALL THE FANS that pointed at the customers to turn them off completely as we finished our meals. As we sat there sweltering, she cleaned behind the bar with her fan turned on high pointed only at her. We complained to the other bartender on the way out but he just shrugged his shoulders. Bottom line it was like mom punishing her step kids. Silly technique if you want a tip.

Yelp
It's been a long time since we have been here mainly because it gets and stays crowded as soon as the doors open. I was craving fried oysters and have only been to one other spot that has good ones, so off we went to try theirs. We were quite lucky as we got there right at 5 pm and the parking lot was almost full. We snagged a spot and only had to wait ten minutes! Perfect. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a bar outside that was calling my name but alas, I do dry January every year so I sadly had water. I will say that every employee here has a smile on their faces and will do anything to make your dining experience a good one. Erika was a delight and I would definitely ask for her section again. I didn't want the fries or the slaw in the oyster basket and she happily brought out just the oysters which were steaming hot with just the right amount of crunch and not fried too hard which is where Florida restaurants go wrong. We also shared a bowl of clam chowder which was very good although I added some Old Bay which was on the table to give it more of a kick. It also came nice and hot. We then shared the special three lobster tail dinner ( I substituted broccoli) and some soft shell crabs) I knew they weren't in season, but they were still quite tasty. I might have left them in the frier a minute or two more to get that crab French fry vibe I enjoy. All the management team stopped by including " Mike From Twisted Lobster" who I call my boyfriend as he texts me the shuck club specials every single day. They are such a value. This is not a fine dining establishment. It is a relaxed evening with solid food and you don't break the bank. I'm only mad because every time I go, I start eating before I remember to take pictures. I blame my husband for that. I must be afraid he is going to eat more oysters than me!

Yelp
Okay we love this restaurant. It has amazing fresh seafood. It's a great local small business that we have always enjoyed. July 8th we went to celebrate my husband's birthday and we were kind of disappointed. We both had excellent Seafood meals with broccoli. The broccoli was overcooked and yellow in color very an appetizing I'm not sure what happened to that. We barely touched the broccoli. Another thing was service today. We had Sarah P for a server and oh my God she needs a lot of training. First of all we have ordered appetizer, the minute we started eating appetizers she was back to take our order for more food. What a horrible timing since we were eating delicious clam chowder and wanted to continue eating it hot. The clam Chowder was amazing by the way. But what a timing she comes back when we are in the middle of eating the soup to ask us what we want for dinner. Unbelievable! And then after we finish dinner she comes back and says "you don't want any desert". I have never heard this at the restaurant, they should encourage you not discourage you to order a dessert. We actually would order some dessert because it was my husband's birthday. But after that statement we just want to leave the place we were very dissatisfied with her and her customer service. She probably needs more training because really everybody else is great in Twisted Lobster.

Yelp
My brother in law took us there last night we started with the fried calamari with pepper that were very good and cup of the delicious creamy clam chowder and to end it with the triple lobster tails in butter sauce with the broccoli and mashed potatoes they were amazing .Food and Atmosphere and service was very good the cook came out and greeted us

Yelp
I started out with a cup of lobster bisque. Amazing! Great flavor! For my entree, I had the salmon with rice and brussel sprout slaw. Salmon was phenomenal with the rice. Not a huge fan of Brussel sprouts so didn't eat. Husband had the fried lobster and was great as well. Don't be afraid of the line of people, moves pretty fast. Lots of employees working to get you in and out. Loved sitting outside! Beautiful weather and great atmosphere. Felt as though it is a local favorite. Everyone was fantastic and asked how your meal was..tip your waitresses well. They work hard.

Yelp
Found this restaurant on yelp while visiting Cape Coral. When we arrive I was not sure if I wanted to go in but once I saw the inside it, looked like it belongs up North. It's gives cute, cozy, beachy vibes. Now to the food, excellent. My kids had the chicken nuggets and said it was really good. I'm a fry fan so I tried one of theirs and it was so good I had to have more. We started off with the clam chowder, delicious, followed by the surf and turf, which was amazing. We were very happy we decided to try this place, will be coming back again and will recommend. Also, they have specials on different nights. I have to mention that their prices are unbelievable and they don't accept reservations. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Quick and easygoing dinners. It does get busy so be prepared to wait. Look at the daily specials and deals.

Kathy M.

Yelp
What great food and service!!! Wonderful food, atmosphere, people! We just thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and met the owner Mike. What a great guy.!

Shannon R.

Yelp
Twisted Lobster is restaurant with an indoor/outdoor seating option. Also an outdoor bar with seating. We chose an outdoor table. We had about a 15 minute wait on a Saturday evening. Friendly and prompt service. Excellent clam chowder.
google avatar

Susan T.

Yelp
My lobster roll was absolutely delicious. The staff were kind gentle and funny. The food came out quickly, not so quick that you were afraid of how it was cooked, but it came out quickly. They were accurate. The fries were crunchy. The servers were happy which shows good management and leadership.
google avatar

Elaine S.

Yelp
This is a fun place to grab an easy and affordable lunch or dinner. There is outdoor seating or comfortable dining inside. The waitstaff is welcoming and friendly and there are usually daily specials. I have come here often with friends and it's a fun atmosphere and the food is fresh and very good. Definitely take advantage of the lobster specials or any one of the meals they feature on that day. The regular menu has a good selection too but I look forward to the specials that change weekly!
google avatar

Jay S.

Yelp
The clam chowder was fantastic. They add a little zing to it, which I loved. On top of that, it's BOGO on Monday's. A very popular place, so there might be a little wait, but it's worth it.
google avatar

Michelle P.

Yelp
This is our favorite restaurant in Cape Coral. Their specials are fabulous but so is everything on the regular menu! There isn't much we haven't tried. Some of our favorites are the clam chowder, lobster rolls, lobster Cobb salad, lobster Mac and cheese, the baked haddock, and the ribs. The service here is the friendliest and we love the staff and the owners who always stop by. The owners presence as well as the staff who have been there for years ensure you will always have an exceptional meal!

Pam L.

Yelp
Customer Service is lacking. The clam chowder is good but Hostess told us 40Min. ( we waited) Now they say they have no idea when a table will be ready (it closes in 34min) It's a Friday night now we have to go look for another place for dinner If it's an 1 1/2 hr wait , just tell me!!!!'
google avatar

C S.

Yelp
Let's start with the kindness of strangers who saw my +80 yr old mom trying to hoist herself to the available bar stool & said "just come join us at our 4-top." Didn't make us super popular with the host, but then again that time of day the outdoor seating was not preferred. I had the blackened swordfish tacos, she had the baked haddock and scallop special. Both were delicious and filling! Also great - the lobster bisque: rich, smooth, could taste the work that went into the base.
google avatar

Elizabeth A.

Yelp
One of the best meals we have ever had in the state of Florida. The four 2-ounce fried lobster dinner (only $17.99) is absolutely amazing. Our nephew ordered a chicken sandwich which was huge. Our niece had the fish tacos which she loved and another diner had steak and lobster which she said was cooked to perfection.
google avatar

Michael F.

Yelp
Well since they stay so pack while our northern neighbors are here it not always easy to get seated quickly and they don't take reservations. The food is always very good and has special daily. The restaurant is decorated nicely with nautical decorations.

Yelp
I was really happy with the food and the service the staff were very pleasant and friendly

Yelp
Went to one of our favorite seafood restaurants in Cape Coral on Valentine's Day. Of course it was busy especially on that night. Our wait was minimal to our surprise. We had the steak and lobster and the butters baked haddock with scallops- OUTSTANDING! Our server was exceptional and you will see the Owners- Joe & Mike hustling cleaning tables, checking on food, and coming to your table to check on your satisfaction. This is why we are regulars!

Traci B.

Yelp
We came to twisted lobster on a monday around 12:45 pm and were seated right away inside as we had only a party of two. we ordered the small hot lobster roll which came with fries as well as a cup of clam chowder i must say i think this was the best i have had yet and i have to been to some fine dining areas and been disappointed highly recommend this facility. i believe it was the owner but a gentleman came by in the hour we were there to assure that it was perfect. can't wait to go back again!

Yelp
Went for a late lunch. This place seems to draw a crowd even at off times. Small restaurant and parking lot, but no problems getting a spot in either. Waitress was super friendly. Had the blackened swordfish tacos w/coconut rice. Very generous portion, reasonable pricing & enjoyed the subtle coconut milk/thai inspired rice. Only offer flour tortillas but willing to do lettuce wrap, which was very nice. Other meals we ordered were shrimp/lobster with coleslaw and corn and coconut shrimp with coleslaw. Their coleslaw is filled with pineapple, which I don't love, but Mucky Duck does this as well so maybe it's a regional favorite. Fries are battered so if you're gf, will need to pick another option. They offer daily online deals that save a solid $5-8/entree & makes for an even more affordable outing. Just have to show the server on your phone. I'm not a big shrimp person so not sure I'll return, but the people I was with really enjoyed it and will definitely go back for more.
