Got there right at opening and tried a Turkey, ribs, brisket and sausage. The service was great! They threw me a little cup of Mac n cheeses to try too. Pickle bar is added bonus with 3 great sauces to cover all tastes. Cherry glazed ribs were amazing and my favorite, but all 4 selections were stellar! Big smokehouse was kicking out great smells. One HUGE think i appreciated was the 1030 am open so i could check this one off my list before my flight! Deserves its spot as one of the best in Texas!

Google
Atmosphere/service: Great setup, customer service was awesome; BBQ was ok. Food: Was hoping for more but didn't quite hit the spot, cuts of brisket also seemed like leftover cuts. Sauces were good, like the fact I can get as much jalapenos and pickles I want. Mac and cheese was one of the best I've had, highly recommend. Sausage was good but nothing spectacular.

Google
We went here because of all the awards they won in the past. The problem is the most recent I saw was in 2016. Brisket was bone dry, Pulled Pork was not good. Sausage was OK. You can skip the overcooked dead potato and beans. Mac was good. Service was great. Atmosphere didn't get 5 star's because the AC wasn't the best. Honestly, after all the good reviews I expected better.

If you're interested in a real BBQ place, Two Bros. BBQ delivers. The charming repurposed wood home is the perfect setting, including a tree in the middle of the ordering area. The outdoor area included lots of shade and a biergarten. I can imagine it is a great place to hang out on a Friday night. There is a play area for the littles. The staff was friendly and personable. Finally the food, I ordered the big bro, it included chopped beef, a sausage link, and coleslaw on a bun. The sausage link was cut in half, and it was very tasty. The chopped beef was a very generous amount, and the coleslaw slaw added a nice crunch. They provide 3 choices of bbq sauce. Unfortunately the meat was dry and needed the sauce. It is good, but I am very picky about my BBQ.

Dinner started on a high the moment we walked through the door and ended even higher with our last bite of banana pudding. The tell-tale aroma of smoked meats hits hard and lifts your spirits, so if the line seems long, just hop in and enjoy the wait. The pace of the line was faster than I ever expected, and the food was ready quickly. The meats were all tender, tasty, and had very little fat. I loved the unique baked beans here with its chunks of peaches and the delicious creamed corn with jalapeños. The family's favorite entree was unanimously the Cheesy Chop (macaroni and cheese with chopped beef). Whatever you do, make sure to plan for leftovers so you leave room for dessert. We liked the mixed berry cobbler (served cold... would have been amazing if served hot), ice cream, and fried strawberry pie (was a bit small but hot... and was indeed amazing), but the banana pudding, no kidding, was absolutely out of this world. I can't believe it could taste so delicious but be so light and fluffy. I also didn't know I could eat a pint of pudding, but there you have it. I'm so full yet salivating once again as I type this! Parking seemed sparse, and the decor is no-frills, but you probably aren't coming here for a prom night type of dinner. The price is a little high for the small side dishes, and almost seemed too cheap for the large sides. All in all, are only real gripe is the barbecue sauce. Three flavors, and we couldn't find one we liked... all too vinegary. Of course, we are fans of KC BBQ more than anything, so we like a thick and sweet sauce. We may get the food to go or even bring our own sauce, but just the same, we will absolutely be back. Of course, we will be bringing any friend or family who wants some authentic Texas barbecue.

Google
Very friendly staff who were very helpful right as we walked in the door. We tried all the meats. Everything was delicious. I especially liked the brisket. Sides of mac n cheese and creamed corn are also a must. Be sure to stop in. You won't be disappointed. Great play area for the kids too!

Google
It was our first time coming to the restaurant. We ordered the chopped brisket with Mac and cheese. It was good. The brisket needed a little salt for me. I had the pickles on the side. For my drink, I had half lemonade and grape kool-aid. It was fire. We also ordered the artichoke dip with the fresh chips. We will be coming back.

Victoria Galindo

Google
The food was okay more of a dry rub flavor but the variety of sauces was good, though the meat was a little dry. I recommend the banana pudding. Also this meal was around $80 so yeah but hey if its your cup of tea 😊

Yelp
I stopped by this place for lunch earlier this week, and it was a real delight. First time trying it out, and I was stoked to see grape Koolaid on the menu! The food was all pretty fantastic too. All the dishes were tasty, the meat was super tender, and the sides were all winners. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They have inside & outside seating as well as a play area for the kiddos. I'll definitely be back, and you should totally check it out if you haven't yet! Ambiance of the establishment was very welcoming.

Yelp
! I had a great experience with two brothers barbecue! I came into town. It was craving some Texas barbecue. This place delivered! It wasn't very busy the evening I went, the staff was super friendly. The food was amazing. I got the brisket, sausage, Flaw, and spicy cream, corn. As good as the meats were, corn is my favorite. Great barbecue in San Antonio. I hope I get to come back soon.

Yelp
GREAT PLACE! A little on the more expensive side- way worth it. Mac and Cheese was absolutely BUSTING! Brisket was a solid 8/10 Inside or outside- great place to eat Staff is amazing and helps you out a ton!

Cynthia H.

Yelp
I would give it zero if it was an option. we threw away the ribs that were raw and tough. Don't go here under any circumstance's. here we are in Texas and this place was recommended. so sorry we went. beans were tasteless coleslaw even worse. I can't believe it's still in business. ribs sold to the public as baby back and they are large St. Louis ribs not babies.

Yelp
Their bbq was actually quite good. The smoky aroma and flavor were there with the brisket and pulled pork. The pulled pork was one of the best I have eaten. Side wise fried okra was pretty good, interesting that they made it with some moisture. The vinegar lettuce was terrible (I left it mostly), what the heck is that? Southern cuisine sometimes is unbearable. What I didn't like was that they were already running out of food at 8pm Friday, does kitchen close that early? I didn't get juicy but lean brisket, because it ran out (lean was also almost running out), and no more ribs, so I had to go with pulled pork. The place and location was almost not so nice, I thought that was typical San Antonio and it felt like in a bad part of town.

Yelp
Not too shabby of a BBQ place. The kids devoured cheesy Chop, which is a $9 pint of Mac and cheese and seasoned chopped beef. It's pretty good. The brisket was pretty good and they had a very good BBQ dressing bar, complete with pickles, spicy pickles, jalapeños and onions. The sausage was okay. It was well priced, and maybe not as seasoned as I have had at other places. Liz wasn't too impressed with the strawberry cobbler. It wasn't well balanced and the strawberry was bitter. 10% discount for military and first responders. Service was good. You order at the front and pick up/pay at another counter. We went later in the evening, so we kept the food and experience indoors. There is an outdoor patio that looks like it would be enjoyable during the warmer days. Plenty of mature oaks to keep the shade. I like the BBQ and beer decor they have around the interior. I will come back to try out some more meats.

Yelp
Two Bros. is my favorite TX bbq spot! It won me over from the moment we walked in. I am no bbq expert/connoisseur whatsoever but good (quality) food is good quality food. I recently had a new found appreciation for bbq while living in FL a few months ago, I attended a foodie event and met a bbq pit master. I learned a thing or two, mostly to appreciate the time and patience it takes to make good bbq (you can taste it). I prefer ribs over brisket but I usually get both. At Two Bros. my hubby and I ordered both the brisket and cherry glazed baby back ribs. For our sides we ordered Mac & cheese, coleslaw and stuffed jalapeños. The ribs and the Mac & cheese were the highlights for me! The consistency and viscosity of the cheese was exactly how I like my mac & cheese. I love that their side portions are the perfect single serving. The cherry glazed ribs were absolutely delicious but I would say a little less charbroil on the rib would maybe compensate and make the meat a little more juicy. Still absolutely delicious! The brisket was a bit dry for my liking but very flavorful. Coleslaw was ok. I prefer my coleslaw more finely chopped but the taste was good. The stuffed jalapeños are filled with cream cheese and wrapped in thick, crispy bacon. You get a delicious smoked taste in every bite. They have huge "Home Depot" jugs for their drinks (sweet tea, iced tea, lemonade) and they also have a pickle station which I love and appreciated! They have pickle chips, pickle chunks, pickled jalapeños & carrots and onions. Overall our experience here was fantastic! The service and ambiance are the epitome of southern hospitality! Pricing is very reasonable too! I Love everything about this place and I cannot wait to return!

Yelp
It's the Holidays and you have some family coming into town for lunch what to do!? I called up Two Bros and ordered up some delicious Texas bbq for the fam! I called 48 hours in advance and was greeted on the phone by a friendly worker who took my order. I showed up the day my family came into town and everything was ready for pickup. Easy peasy! I'm glad to say that the food was packed very well, and traveled well. It was still nice and hot when I arrived home twenty minutes later. Their chicken was cooked nice and slow and was still nice and juicy with a great smoke flavor. The brisket was tender and moist. The turkey was nice and lean, and the ribs.... THE RIBS!! Delicious!! I absolutely recommend this place for anyone who's looking to enjoy some BBQ!

Yelp
Highly recommend. Excellent BBQ. Well seasoned and smoked brisket. Soft turkey. Tasty sausage. Good pulled pork and chicken thighs. Ribs a bit sweet for my taste with the cherry glaze. Sides good, mac n' cheese and corn and cole slaw good, potato salad kind of salty. Choice of 2 pickles (normal or spicy) and 3 bbq sauces. Beers available. Order at one counter, pick up and then pay at another. The restaurant itself a bit rustic, lots of outdoor seating, but little and not obvious parking in front (looks like more out back?). No plates offered; all meats and sides à la carte. Will be back for sure!

Yelp
This is the go-to bbq spot when visiting family in town. You'll always be satisfied when you leave. Classic bbq joint vibes. You walk past a ton of award plaques and recognitions right inside the front door. Mostly everything is ordered by the pound/container size. There are a few individual-sized bites, but bring your friends and order a feast. Service was great and our food came out super fast. Brisket, chopped beef, and ribs are my fave. My standout sides are the creamed corn and the bbq beans. They've got regular and spicy pickles, and your order comes with white bread. There are 3 bbq sauces you can add at will: a molasses-based, a vinegar-based, and a mustard-based. Their sweet tea is great and they've got a ton of wine and beer options as well. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
We'd been wanting to go here since we first got to SA. We're here temporarily and I drove by this place a few months back and added it to our "To Try" food list . We finally went and were not disappointed! Time: We went after some time at the DSP range around 12:30pm on a Sunday. There were some folks there inside and out but we were in and out relatively quiet and quick. Vibe: We would've eaten in but we needed to get back home to our pups. The set up both indoors and outdoors is nice! Could definitely see getting a group together to eat here in the Spring. Service: The folks who work there remind me of southern folk from outside of TX (if you know you know). They were the best part of our experience right next to the food! Funny, friendly, and human. Food: Listen, I don't know what some of these folks reviewing here were experiencing or expecting but we loved the BBQ. I've been really disappointed living in Texas (going on 2.5 years) because the BBQ in other parts of the south is so much better. Part of the experience includes sides and service. This was the first time that we had BBQ that didn't underwhelm. I actually considered coming back here for dinner! It was well cooked, flavorful, and paired well with the sides they offered. This is the kind of BBQ place we are used to I'm talkin' about NC, SC, TN, Bama. A little shack with country decor and bomb meat. Order: 1/2 lb Turkey 3 Sausage links 1 order Smoked Stuffed Jalapeños Pint Mac N Cheese Pint Coleslaw Side BBQ Beans (finally somewhere that serves them sweet like they should be!) Pickles (y'all they give you a container to fill up) We'll be back!

Yelp
On the way home, stopped by here. Picked up some chops to go. Being from San Antonio grew up on Bill Miller's chops. Some would argue that Bills is not real BBQ. However , love juicy meat & I wanted to try this restaurant. Greeted upon arrival, friendly staff provided assistance in selecting food. This place is tucked away by the Wurzbach parkway. Yes, would go here again vs B:$$ Mi$$ers. Meat was bigger than most chopped meat, meaning it's not really the bottom of the grease pan, (not very healthy). Who cares, sooo good. Poppers fresh & definitely pops in your mouth.

Yelp
A few friends recommended this place to me and I had never heard of it. I was pleasantly surprised. We got the brisket and turkey and many other sides. Employees were very nice and welcoming. Ambiance was chill, and the store has a cute Texas vibe. Recommend trying it if you are into Texas barbecue.

Yelp
Hubby was feeling like having BBQ, so we headed to @twobrosbbqmarket for lunch today. It was the first time for Dad and I to try. It was the perfect weather to enjoy lunch outdoors! We ordered the BBQ Starter Kit, which came with 1/2 lb brisket, 1/2 lb pulled pork, 1/2 lb ribs, 1 sausage, 2 chicken thighs, and 2 sides. The sides we chose were creamed corn, and potato salad. Both were awesome! Unfortunately, most of the meat were on the dry side. The bonus is that Two Brothers is part of the San Antonio Gold Diner's Program. We got the free banana pudding! Yelp
Two Bros BBQ is a solid BBQ joint. We had the brisket, sausage, cream corn, and Mac & Cheese. Everything was pretty good and probably the best I've had in San Antonio. There was 6 in our group and everyone loved the food. It was actually my second time back here. Both times were really good.

Dion B.

Yelp
First impressions; nice and friendly environment. Menu selection was good. Lots to choose from. I tried the brisket with sausage and side of Mac. Immediately the bbq sauce station caught my eye, good selection of flavors. Tried the tangy bbq sauce with my food. The brisket was dry and possibly one of the most toughest brisket I've had. If it wasn't for the bbq sauce, I wouldn't have finished it. Sausage was very good and had a nice snap to it. Mac didn't taste authentic compared to several other bbq places. Over all experience was good and I look forward to trying other items on the menu and hope to have my mind changed about the overall review.

Yelp
It's 1:30 on a Saturday... out of ribs. Out of poppers. Out of spicy pickles. This place is delicious... but they're always running out of food. I get it if it's 3 or 4 orrrrr if you're brand new and getting swamped w business. Just seems like we'd plan better. The kool-aid is good. lol honestly, so is the food... if they had any.
google avatar

Em J.

Yelp
Ordered a family pack to go and loved the smokiness of the meat. I also liked that there was such a variety of meat. There is a self serve pickle bar. I did feel that everything was too salty, but that's more subjective. There were also different bbq sauces to choose from.

Balcones Village A.

Yelp
Disgusting. 1 and half pounds of the driest and toughest turkey I have ever had. Really awful. Wrapped it up to go and taking it home to feed to the dogs. Playground had fire ants all around. Worker getting off said "F-ckn out of here" Only good thing here was the grape kool-aid.
google avatar

Yelp
Sadly, we didn't get to try as much as we wanted. We came in on a Sunday at 4 pm and they had already sold out of quite a few things. Brisket was good! Flavorful and tender. The Mac and cheese was very rich. You'll have to read the other reviews to hear about more food. LOL! The parking is shared, but it might be best to grab and go.
google avatar

Shari D.

Yelp
I love this place. The turkey was great. We actually don't eat meat but our friends do and they alway come here. I loved the Cole slaw and could eat it all day. Oh, yeah, the creamed corn and Mac and Cheese were amazing. We did take out but I have eaten in the outside area and think it is pretty fun.

Yelp
Went on Monday at noon for lunch busy but no wait. Clean tables and bathroom Brisket - good flavor, very much melted in your mouth but the outside was a little overcharred and had to cut off some of it. Ribs - excellent, really good bite but not chewy or soft. Good flavor. Didn't really even need bbq sauce Potato salad - good Beans - okay. A little sweet for me
google avatar

Yelp
I was able to EVERYTHING on the menu and when I say mouth water ! The ribs fall right into your mouth & the seasoning is just love. The potato salad also stood out as well, I love the red potatoes it was so rich and creamy. My job bought lunch last week for us & everyone loved it! The food is beyond good, I will be spreading the word !

Yelp
Pulled up after a flight from Cali. This place was a woodsy picnic area. Walked in and there was picnic style seating. Igloos full of lemonade sweet tea and kool aid. All good. They had hot pickles as a condiment. These were hot so I only had one. Ordered the family bundle for 5-6. It fed 8 of us. The creamed corn was so warm and delicious. Beans and Mac and cheese were also good. Ordered ribs, pulled pork and brisket and none of these disappointed. The turkey and chicken were ok, but nothing like the others. A must place to go. Customer service was very friendly and informative of other places to try in the area. We will certainly be back next time. We are back in SA Texas.

Yelp
I had biked past Two Bros BBQ so many times over the past year that it had to be added to my list of places to try. As it was such a beautiful day today, my parents and I decided to drive over and enjoy a late lunch. It wasn't very crowded when we arrived and there was plenty of parking. We ordered 2lbs of brisket, 3 sausages, 3 drinks, a pint of potato salad, a pint of coleslaw and a small macaroni & cheese. The woman taking out order was very friendly and helped advise us on how much to order. We grabbed a table outside and then grabbed a tray full of all the fixings from their self-serve area (pickles, jalapeños, onions, bbq sauce, etc). In less than 10 minutes, our name was called for the order pick up. They had actually forgotten the sausage, but they quickly fixed it when we mentioned it. The brisket and sausage were both tasty and flavorful. The sausage was one of the better ones I've tried at a BBQ place as it wasn't too spicy for me and the brisket was about average. As for the sides, the coleslaw and potato salad were both good; however, the macaroni & cheese wasn't great and was pretty bland. They offered three different BBQ sauces (one tangy, one sweet and one spicy) but sadly we didn't like any of them... they were all a bit weird. Overall... they had a great atmosphere (especially if you go when there is live music) and the food was pretty good.
google avatar

Nelson W.

Yelp
Food is not good. Ribs small & dry. Brisket dry. You MUST use sauce, but the sauces are not good. Mac and cheese no flavor. Corn is just ok. Potato salad has an odd flavor, not bad, but just not what I want as an accompaniment to bbq. The best thing was the sliced bread. In addition to the poorly done food - the entire place is dirty. Tables, floor, bathroom, drink & condiment station. We had to wait for a table to be wiped down & even after we saw them wipe it down, it was still sticky. If the good was at least good, i might look past the uncleanliness...but, no. There is no reason to patronize this place. You would get better quality at Bill Miller's, lol, and I'm no fan of BM, but in comparison, might as well go get fast food bbq and save yourself time & money.
google avatar

Ben H.

Yelp
Better bbq at Rudy's .... Really let down as I had heard back in the day this place was great. Bbq tasted overcooked, dry, and days old. Sides were below average as well sadly
google avatar

Sean D.

Yelp
So I didn't get to take any pictures because I went straight into mopping my plate right up. We ordered the brisket, the cherry glazed ribs, stuffed jalapeños, Mac n cheese, and coleslaw. I know right! We was hungry. All the meats were fantastic, I really enjoyed the ribs probably my favorite. The coleslaw was good very mellow which I like, the Mac n cheese was very cheesy! We enjoyed the whole meal. I really enjoyed the esthetics and hometown bbq pit vibe makes me feel like I've been coming here for years. I would also pay tribute to the service because that was a huge reason for such comfort eating at a new place. Staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. That's what gave me that hometown feel. I'm definitely coming here when in the mood for BBQ!

Yelp
Visited a couple of weeks ago with a large family group and I was not a big fan. Will probably not visit again. Space is huge for large parties so I'll give them that and they have a playground outside for the kids, so definitely a family friendly spot. The food is nothing special, I found the brisket to be super dry and their BBQ sauce was super watery in consistency. The chicken thighs were great and the chopped pork was okay as well. The sides were alright my favorite were the mac and cheese and the cream corn. Their sweet tea/lemonade were awesome though. I didn't order anything myself so I can't speak of the front desk service, but from what I heard from my family members, it was not that great. The person up front taking their orders made a couple of rude remarks while they ordered, not sure if that's his personality or if they were annoyed because of the large group.
google avatar

Yelp
Great BBQ was visiting from San Diego my daughter got the cheesy chop with brisket and I got the Big Bro sandwich. Both were exceptional and definitely didn't disappoint!

Lisa M.

Yelp
Service: - excellent, prompt service and answered any questions we had Ambiance - It was fine....it's Two Bros Food - Brisket and sausage seemed liked they were a day or two old. We asked for moist brisket and it was SO dry. The sausage skin was actually pulled away from the inner part of the sausage. The ribs were good. Our sides were fine. Loved the pickle bar.
google avatar

Julie H.

Yelp
Very disappointing. This is not the pulled pork sandwich that I expected. I think the photo says it all.
google avatar

Albert E.

Yelp
Two Brothers BBQ has been our go-to place for a number of years, but our latest visit was a major disappointment. We arrived around 6:00 pm and they were already out of all brisket. We were told to get the ribs and pulled pork, so we did along with beans and Mac & Cheese. We also ordered a Shiner Black. When we got to the payment/pickup counter, there was some confusion and delay in getting our order. What we received were the smallest and overcooked ribs I've ever had. It was more like rib jerky. The pork was also pretty dry & bland and it took a good dose of BBQ sauce to give it some flavor. The only saving grace were the sides, but one doesn't go to a BBQ restaurant for the sides, it's for the BBQ! I realize that every restaurant has an "off" day, but overhearing other patrons seated near us who also were complaining about their food made us realize we weren't the only ones. There are a lot of BBQ restaurant choices in San Antonio and I hope Two Brothers steps up its game so long time patrons like us don't have to look elsewhere.
google avatar

Scott R.

Yelp
Been waiting to try Two Bros for some time. Today was the day. We had ribs (very good), sausage (average), turkey (very good), and brisket (dry and tough). We were charged $1 for water. Hysterical. Cole slaw was "meh". Dark sauce was way too heavy on molasses. I didn't finish the brisket, which is a crime in some parts of Texas, but it sucked all the saliva from my mouth due to its dryness and my wife couldn't understand what I was saying to her (at least she was listening). As for the "ambiance"...well, the place is kinda like a large shack, which I actually like in many cases. Not good, not bad. It just is what it is. Overall, this was a one-off. So many better BBQ options in SA, especially for the same cost.
google avatar

Priscilla H.

Yelp
First time here! Food was delicious! We had the Turkey, brisket, chicken thigh, cream corn (freaking delicious) and the creamiest man n cheese! They had live music , Nef Hernandez Solo acoustic artist , made me feel like i was sitting at a beach front proper Chill'en with great food, great friends and vibes!
google avatar

Christy Q.

Yelp
Came on a Wednesday for an early dinner after work. I appreciated that we could help ourselves to the condiments like the sauces and the jalapeños. I was disappointed that the brisket was very dry. The BBQ sauces helped, and I was glad there was a variety of sauces to choose from. At least there was that! The corn and potato salad didn't stand out. It just seemed like the corn was from a can or was frozen, so there wasn't anything special about it. The beans was the only side that was decent. I came in with expectations since this place has a lot of reviews, but the sausage was too salty, the turkey was bland, ribs were not tender, and I was so so sad about the brisket. I brought a family member who was visiting that week to try out this place with me, and sadly, could not have this place live up to the Texas BBQ standard. Not sure if I would want to come back again.
google avatar

Emily D.

Yelp
While the food looks good, it lacks flavor. The chicken has no flavor , the bbq sauces have potential but lack in flavor. The jalapeño poppers have absolutely no flavor. The ribs were good but only in comparison to the other food we ordered. Definitely would not recommend.
google avatar

Tiffani K.

Yelp
Great BBQ one of the best in San Antonio!! Also the best place to get cream corn Definitely recommend, I will say the prices are a bit high.. the meal in the photo is the "Hunrgy Bros" which came out to $99 but can feed about 5. Regardless the food is great the service is great and there's outdoor seating plus a small playground outside for kids while you enjoy your food. Will always be a recommendation from me!
google avatar

Carol Lynn C.

Yelp
Very disappointed, food was not hot when received, tasteless bbq,was visiting from Cali and this was in my bucket list, dirty tables, when asked to be cleaned just looked and walked away ,sorry but there are better options
google avatar

Arlan M.

Yelp
We always enjoy a meal here. The staff is always polite and helpful. It's a nice place to bring out of ton company. It's honestly not my favorite brisket here in San Antonio but it is good and nice to enjoy if I'm not interested in making my own or waiting in long lines.
google avatar

Eric M.

Yelp
Avoid this place! As I was ordering my food, I saw a rat crawl out from under the food counter. Then, when getting drinks, there was a dead fly on the lids. To top it all off, the roof above the dining area is dropping fiberglass insulation all over the place. There was a piece laying on the seat I sat on. I really feel bad having to leave this review, but I want to let you know to avoid this place until some serious changes are made.
google avatar

Stephanie R.

Yelp
I've been to this BBQ place several times. It has a great large outdoor seating area and some limited seating indoors. Parking can be an issue at busy times so we usually go around mid afternoon. I've tried all their meat offerings and they have all been perfectly smoked and delicious. Their sides are scrumptious as well, my favorites are the mac and cheese (super gooey and cheesy), creamed corn (little spicy) and their potato salad. This place is owned by Chef Dady, a renowned local chef who owns several restaurants around town. Dady's unique creative style of cooking is present even this humble BBQ restaurant through how the food is uniquely seasoned. This location has a nice selection of beers and some wine as well. A large group of friends had our Friendsgiving there tonight in the back seating area called the "Bocce Ball" area. No Bocce ball is played any longer, it is just a nice adults only area off to the side so you can have a outdoor private gathering. We all loved the food and had a great night.

Yelp
BBQ was good, nothing to write home about.. I had brisket, pulled pork, sausage, and banana pudding. It was all very basic but kind of pricy for the quality. I enjoyed their sauces. Was not a fan of the spicy pickles. They do also charge for water.. found that kind of odd. I went here to watch a music group a friend was in. Probably wouldn't return for the bbq but would return again for a music event. The outdoor seating area was nice - had a bunch of picnic tables set up and a play area for kiddos to keep them occupied.

Yelp
Had been having Two Bros BBQ withdrawal so popped in Saturday for a fix. Ordered a pound of chopped BBQ and two large sides: macaroni and cheese and potato salad to go. Delicious! Just finished the leftovers for lunch today. Can't wait to go back. .

Yelp
We visited Two Bros BBQ many years ago. We were meeting up with some friends so I searched for BBQ places that would be convenient for all of us. Two Bros BBQ popped up. We remembered eating there when our son was in youth sports and decided to give it another try. We were not disappointed. The brisket was very moist and the ribs were very favorable. The restaurant is family friendly and good for a small group of friends.

Yelp
I recently stopped in for dinner-- my 85th BBQ restaurant in Texas, and the 340th on an odyssey that now spans 35 states (it takes a massive spread sheet to keep track of them all). $26.42 purchased a third of a pound of sliced brisket (fatty end), a sausage link, small sides of creamed corn and baked beans, a fried strawberry pie, and a can of diet coke. The link had good snap and flavor, but the salty brisket really benefited from a generous helping of the house sauce. The creamed corn was unremarkable, but the baked beans were outstanding while the fried pie provided a decent finish. On the whole, therefore, while there is better 'cue in San Antonio, this is a reasonable option if you happen to be in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Was not worth the $75. Brisket was dry, sausage link was fine. Potato salad was like eating a raw onion. Creamed corn was a can of corn thrown into a watery cream soup. Mac and cheese was good. The banana bread was good but seemed like they added an unnecessary amount of sugar into the pudding. The lemonade was excellent. The staff were very nice, happy and helpful.

Yelp
After a long morning of paperwork at the office, my boss and I decided to go grab lunch. My regular spot down the road was closed, so we opted to try Two Bros out. We pulled into the parking lot right as they were opening. No cars were in the parking lot, so we got a jump on the crowd. We walked in and strolled up to the counter. This place had a nice at home feel to it, and no frills. Nice music playing around the place. My boss ordered a pulled pork sandwich, beans, and an order of the fried pies. I ordered a chopped beef sandwich with sauce on the side, and a side of beans. The gentleman behind the counter said chopped beef sandwiches come with sauce mixed in, so I called an audible and went with a sliced beef. No big deal, but glad I found this out before I got my food. I am a self proclaimed BBQ snob. It is of my opinion that if a BBQ joint has to smother their meat with sauce to mask the flavor, their BBQ is trash. The same exact reason you do not put A1 on a good steak. Also, I like my sauce in moderation, so when it is premixed, it always seems to be heavy handed and ruined. We walked around the corner, paid for our food, and took our seats. On the table, there were three BBQ sauce choices: sweet sauce, tangy sauce, or Shiner-molasses sauce. In quick time our orders were ready so we got right to it. I was not sure of which sauce I wanted to put on my sandwich, so I put a little dab of each on it. I liked the shiner-molasses sauce a lot, but the expresso mixed in with the molasses was a bit overpowering. It was delicious, just bold. I opted to go for the sweet sauce. I devoured my sandwich and polished off my beans. Both were very delicious. The brisket was very moist and full on flavor, and melted in my mouth. The single serving of beans was way too small though. Literally two and a half spoonfuls and it was gone. It was more of a sample serving than a single serving. Next time, I will get the next size up. My boss did not want his second fried strawberry pie, so he slid it my direction. It was not bad. I was not a fan of the strawberry, but not bad. I definitely will return, and I highly recommend this place. If you are in the area, stop in and get you some! Enjoy.
