"Thattu, chef Margaret Pak’s mega-hit South Indian street food spot, will pop up on Thursday at Two Mile Coffee Bar on Chicago’s South Side... Pak has a large community of fans so many items are already sold out, but fast-typing diners may be able to snag one of the last chicken biriyanis or masala biscuits via Square." - Ashok Selvam

I'm glad they were able to expand to the old space next door. It not only has opened up more options for seating, but helps it to feel less congested even with a handful of people. I've never had any good here so I can't comment on that. I always have tea now. I've had coffee in the past and it's pretty good in terms of getting you caffeinated and the taste. In that regard, it's good. Not a decent variety. But what they have is very delightful, with or without honey (or other sweetener).

Recently dined at Two Mile Coffee Bar, and the experience was delightful. The ambiance is wonderfully relaxed, with two distinct sections—one for ordering and leisurely seating, and another bright, well-lit room perfect for sipping coffee while working. I opted for the pumpkin spice latte paired with what might just be the best croissant in Chicago! The layers on the croissant were impeccable. I also indulged in the Almendrada croissant, equally exquisite. The warm presentation elevated the flavors to perfection. These delectable pastries, crafted by Butterdough, are a testament to their mastery of croissants. A visit is a must for the pastries alone; they are simply irresistible. Come for the coffee, savor a pastry, and make it a productive stay while you're there.

I've been coming to 2 mile for many years. It's a nice local café that has great baristas. They recently expanded. It's not a loud Starbucks, or a silent library but right in between. The lattes are delicious.

Two Mile has great tasting coffee, and it’s not ridiculously priced. The food has always been good and the recent(ish) addition is cozy and creative! It’s our summer goal to walk the two miles it takes to get there once a week for our treats! The staff is always smiling and friendly as well!

Google
I ordered the Mexican chocolate cookie and the ridge latte. The cookie had a really good texture. Almost like a pound cake & it was not overly sweet. I really liked it. The ridge latte was as described in previous reviews I read before going. That’s why I ordered it & I wasn’t disappointed. My only complaint is that the flower petals got stuck in the spout. They were pretty. But not that functional. The staff was friendly. Overall, it’s a simple & cozy neighborhood cafe and I’m glad I went there to support.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good my sandwich was! The drinks could be served hotter but they're good. I appreciate that they serve in mugs for dine-in. One side is very sunny & bright, the other side is dimmer and cozier. I like the option to pick one or the other based on your mood.

Google
I love this place. Their lattes put Starbucks to shame. The staff is friendly and there is plenty of seating. All is right with the world sitting in a neighborhood coffee shop with a book and delicious drink.

Google
They have a great variety of hand crafted seasonal drinks. Their Golden Milk latte, (Here comes the sun) is to die for!!💜. On another day, I tried their Vietnamese iced coffee, (Ca Phe Sua da, it is great one too.

Yelp
This is the premiere coffee place on the near south side. Formerly the cool "B Sides" it has morphed into Two Mile with new owners and expanded into a bigger space over time. The original room is modern, comfy, dark, and hip. The new room is bright, roomy, airy and great to work in. The coffee is high quality and I think they use Intelligentsia beans. Overall a great experience with friendly staff and a great location. You can usually snag parking somewhere on the block as well. A few things I would prefer different: * A tiny bit costly. An iced americano is over $5. But the quality and strong shots make up for it. * The curved plastic chairs in the new room are uncomfortable after a short period of time... probably good to keep people from staying all day, but it would be nice to have better chairs. These are just nitpicks and this place deserves its 5 star rating.

Yelp
Customer service is everything to me. It is of equal importance to quality of goods received at a food establishment. My husband and i walked into this coffee shop to grab a pickup order my he made. I needed to use the restroom, and as I walked past the baristas (who were intrenched in a conversation), they both looked at me. I said, "hello!" in a voice that was friendly and clear, but they just stared at me. Needless to say, I felt unwelcome and embarrassed that I'd say hello and have two people completely ignore me all while staring me down as I walked to the bathroom. They never interacted with us once. The coffee received was just ok. Had the customer service been better, this cafe would have been given more stars for my review. Perhaps you can refresh your employees on the importance of welcoming a customer... especially when they extend a greeting? ***edited to add that my husband reached out to the cafe via email before reviewing on Yelp and was given no response. Seems the owners might not even be concerned about this matter, which is just another letdown. ***

Yelp
Ooooo Beverly, watch out now! Y'all might've done something with this cafe right here. Massive working space. When I say room, outlets, lightening and quiet?! What more could you need when it's time to focus? The staff is overly friendly and definitely enjoy what they do. Our sever was super helpful and made sure to meet our accommodations. My sister and I ordered the Breakfast Cuerno sandwiches. I had the steak meat to mine because I want to mess with flavors and textures. I can be over the top sometimes. Tehehe My sister raved about her latte with hazelnut syrup and my golden milk beverage was cute. I appreciate it as a non coffee drinker and it paired well with my sandwich. Our sandwiches were overly tasty! I did steak and my sister did the sausage. You could smell the eggs being prepared and the croissant was massive and soft and flaky. I like the mole sauce on the side but I think patrons should have the option of choosing jelly or something to elevate the sandwich. Definitely returning because I want to try those tacos. PS Who doesn't love free wifi???

Yelp
I had a mobile order pickup and absolutely no customer service. The inside looked very nice and inviting. It was a bummer to have found a new coffee shop, and end up with a negative experience.

Yelp
How have I not done a review of 2 mile coffee bar? This place is amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable baristas. Great coffee - smooth not overly bitter and well balanced drinks. Cozy spots to sit and enjoy. And a bonus...they now have twice as much seating. Yes, in the middle of the day parking can sometimes be full, but there are a ton of spots around.

Yelp
I have been here a couple of times though my second time here was probably the first real experience I had (the first one was during the COVID shutdown of everything so I just picked up a latte to go). Came here in the morning to work for a few hours on a Monday. Great work environment, lots of space, lots of light, and some great smells (all the coffee being made). I typically dont really get things out of the typical latte, cortado, etc; however, this time around, I tried their season drink "Orgeat Orange Blossom Latte", which was fantastic! At first I thought the orange might be a bit...weird, but it worked really well. Of course, this is mostly due to the barista knowing what shes doing with espresso as well. I also got a chocolate croissant which was buttery, fluffy, and flakey - all the signs of a great baked good! I looked forward to the next time I come hang out and try one of their other seasonal drinks!

Yelp
I stopped here on the way to Oak Lawn last weekend. It's not a large shop, but there is a fair amount of seating inside, including a couple of spots right in front of the window. Given its location along Walden Parkway, there's not much in the way of parking, but given they're located right next to the 99th Street Metra station, it's pretty easy to get to and to satisfy your need for a hot drink on the way to work. They also have some pastries to tempt you as well. I picked up The Ridge. I don't drink coffee, so I always get a chai latte; it's very unusual to see a coffee shop do anything interesting with a non-coffee beverage so since they'd put a bit of a spin on a chai latte with The Ridge, I definitely needed to try it. The drink was pretty good. Somehow a piece of plastic from the rose petal container got into the drink, but mistakes happen. Yes, they decorate it with rose petals! If you want. Since it was my first time having the drink I felt I needed to have it in all its glory, and it was indeed a lovely little drink (the barista said she felt like an artist making it, haha). I'm not sure if I'd get the rose petals again because while they're perfectly edible, I'm not sure if I like the added texture it brings to my drink. I do wish I'd gotten a large one; I decided to get a small since I wasn't sure if I'd like it, with the cardamom and the rose petals, but it didn't affect the flavor very much at all. This is a great little coffee shop in Beverly that I'd happily return to if I'm down in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Much quieter and cozier than the nearby Starbucks(s), Two Mile Coffee Bar is the perfect place to go and catch up with a freind over some coffees and breakfast. The croissant sandwich was great. The bacon and sausage was excellent. The workers are efficient and polite. We have no complaints at all.

Yelp
I have always been a sucker for independent coffee houses and I already liked Two Mile Coffee Bar from the beginning. Well, now they have put an exclamation point on their offerings by adding hot food and expanding their space. This is game changer if you are looking for somewhere quiet to work, grab some caffeine, and now you can grab some hot breakfast (Chorizo & Brisket breakfast wraps and an omelette special). Service is always spot on as well.

Yelp
Update: chocolate croissant is delicious! Hooray, I got one! Hopefully, they'll add some savory croissants in future. Still dreaming of that spinach and cheese. These guys know their coffee. Full stop. The coffee specialties as well as the coffee staples are high quality, skillfully made and served with a smile by a very talented and approachable staff. The croissants must be super popular with morning commuters, I haven't had a chance to try one, maybe soon I'll get lucky or get here before 10am. In the meantime, there are outstanding food offerings at Afro Joe's across the street, in fact, pairing a coffee drink from here and a sandwich from there has been a highlight of my week so far! We're so lucky to have several great coffee shops within walking distance of our home.

Yelp
Do you need some solitude, along with a cup of excellent coffee? Do you need WiFi to work or relax in a quiet space. THIS is your sanctuary! This is my go-to shop. Forget Starbucks or even Dunkin. This place outranks the chains BIG TIME. Reasonable and excellent coffee! Delightful service and lovely surroundings. I went to the one off of 99th street and Walden. There are treats to go with your coffee if you choose to indulge! Close to the train so drop in and before your commute to downtown or grab a roadie before heading home. And additional perk, they promote and sell local art. I love that. It keeps the interior fresh and exciting. Helps local artist too. Such a great neighborhood engagement! If you are a real Java lover and in the neighborhood, pick Two Mile Coffee! You too, could become a regular!

Yelp
Consistently good coffee, friendly staff, nice interior space to work and strong wifi. I love their cardamom lattes with oat milk. They also have a cute patio located right next to the cafe.

Yelp
Nice clean quite coffee shop in Beverly behind the train station. Really nice Latte from a friendly staff.

Phil M.

Yelp
Thought I would give this place a try because of other reviews. Very average coffee at above average prices, better tasting coffee at CircleK. Difficult to get a seat, as everyone was spread out on their laptops, with bags taking other seats.

Melanie H.

Yelp
I love having Two Mile right around the corner for my occasional specialty coffee out or to meet a friend for a chat. It's a really nice place with lovely people and the coffee is so good.

Kate L.

Yelp
Super cute! Nice spot for coffee and tea. Got hot cocoa for the kiddos and they were gone in seconds! We'll be back for sure!

Mark M.

Yelp
Went in to grab a couple cold brews to go. Nice little cozy spot along with friendly staff. Cold brews had a nice kick to them to get the motor going. I will def be coming back.

Yelp
This morning we ventured out to Two Mile Coffee Bar in Beverly (Walden location.) They completely exceeded my expectations. Conveniently Located near the Beverly Hills train station, this coffee house is a must stop. We ordered off of the seasonal fall menu, The "Hot Buttered Yum" and "Team pumpkin." To sum it up in one word: Wow! Team pumpkin was everything you want in a PSL; spice, maple, a subtle hint of coconut, and pumpkin of course. Hot Buttered Yum was a brown sugar latte, with hints of a butter cookie, simply delicious. We sat outside, which was adorable, but the interior was trendy with ample seating as well. We loved our lattes so much that we ordered two more to go. My boyfriend got the South Cider (a chai apple cider topped with Sage and orange) and I got the Mama Sue and the Rev (smoked vanilla and maple.) All four drinks were astounding, the location was cute, and they brew intelligentsia- a bonus in my book. We chatted with the owner who was so friendly! Cannot wait to return soon!

Yelp
For the second time after my daughter's soccer practice we decided to grab a coffee from Two Mile. Both times I had the Seasonal Butter Yum and both times it didn't disappoint. Specialty drinks are made to order so its fresh and delicious. We even ordered a kid friendly hot chocolate for my daughter and she literally chug it, so my only guess is that it was good as well . The staff is friendly, professional and efficient. One of the ladies even admired my daughters soccer gear which earned her a nod and a smile from our little which is tough to do. This is a great neighborhood Coffee shop and we look forward to going back.

Yelp
Amazing coffee, service, location, and vibe. A great spot to meet up, first date, or work!

Will H.

Yelp
A modern shop in a fun area, Two Mile has great seasonal drinks and great space to sit (even during COVID). Definitely will come back next time I'm on the South Side!

Patti A.

Yelp
Exactly why you should shop local . Stopped by during my holiday hustle and was so glad I did. Yummy drinks, friendly staff, cool setting, great price point and Intelligentsia coffee makes it a must stop.

Gabrielle C.

Yelp
Beautiful decor and great staff! Super clean too! Delicious danishes and the espresso is excellent! I've found my new favorite local coffee shop!
