5 Exciting Things To Eat & Do In London Between August 13th - 15th - London - The Infatuation

"Order a spritz, close your eyes and you could be in Venice. Emphasis on the could, there. The reality is that you’re in Hackney Wick. Sorry. But at least you’re at new spot Two More Years. It’s got a massive outside terrace on the water, a DJ playing inside, and a decent biodynamic wine list (as well as loads of other drinks)." - jake missing

Two More Years Bar in Hackney Wick Collapse: 13 People Injured | Eater London

"At around 5 p.m. on Saturday 12 February the mezzanine floor of a bar in Hackney Wick collapsed, injuring 13 people; the venue said via Instagram that thankfully none sustained critical injuries. The cause is not yet known, and Tower Hamlets Council is working with emergency services and a structural engineer to assess the privately owned building. London Ambulance Service treated the event as a major incident and dispatched air ambulance teams, while London Fire Brigade crews rescued seven people who were trapped on the remaining part of the mezzanine; firefighters from Homerton, Bethnal Green and Leyton and rescue units from East Ham and Edmonton attended. The venue will remain closed, with all dinner reservations and party bookings cancelled, and officials including the mayor expressed gratitude to emergency responders and sent well wishes to those injured." - Adam Coghlan

Nice warehouse pub with high ceilings. 241 Thursday was really good - non-alcoholic beers on draught. Lucky chip burger was decent. Went for the promotion, but there was a mishap and it meant we had to eat our burgers separately. The two pints we had, although the same beer tasted slightly different and looked different too. But would be willing to go back bc it has good atmosphere and Lucky Chip is great!

A delightful venue nestled along the river Lea. We visited on a Friday at around 5pm and were pleasantly surprised to find ample seating still available. The atmosphere is effortlessly laid back, with generous space that accommodates spontaneous visits, though I would still advise arriving early to secure a spot. The drinks selection is impressively broad, catering to all tastes with a diverse array of beers and well balanced cocktails. Our food arrived promptly and each dish was executed with care and confidence. A small but important note: be sure to take your table number when ordering at the bar to avoid any unnecessary back and forth. I look forward to returning.

Grate location on the riverside, lovely outside floating seating area loads of tables and seating inside. Good atmosphere we call in for a few beers before the football match, only a short walk to the stadium.

A quick drink and bite to eat before walking to ABBA Arena for the show. It was early so there were not a lot of people in the place apart from keyboard warriors on the back tables. Beer was ok as was the food( burgers, fries and wings). It’s pub food so expect that level of presentation. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Coolest spot in the area. Great during the day for remote working and at night for the food, music (amazing DJs) and overall atmosphere. Lovely staff too.

I had a group booking here on a Saturday, and I would definitely recommend Two More Years if you want to host a group. From first enquiry, to them looking after the group on the night to getting my deposit back, everything was handled extremely professionally, with care and attention. The vibe was really fun, enough space for people to have conversation, move around, dance (as there was a DJ that night), it was just the type of spot I wanted. Good chill crowd, who were there to have a nice time. Thank you Josh, Dan and all the team, you guys made it such a lovely and memorable night.

Had an amazing time here for my friend’s birthday on Saturday night. Awesome venue and wicked location right on the canal — the floating deck is a great touch, and the warehouse vibe inside is spot on. Staff were lovely, drinks were great, and the atmosphere was perfect. The Lucky Chip food was next level — I had the double cheeseburger with bacon, fries with mayo, and popcorn chicken. Everything was cooked perfectly, with incredible flavour and texture. I even took my plate back to the bar to thank the chef personally. I’ll definitely be back — whether for the food or a few drinks with friends by the water. ❤️

Celebrated a birthday there back in June. The music was great and we all had the best time. The staff even gave us a bottle of champagne as a gift - thank you very much! Highly recommend for a pint or a boogie later in the night - great venue :)
