My boyfriend and I were here for my birthday for the first time. The food was delicious and made fresh. Really loved the Yellow Curry. We ordered a few dim sum items and they were really great as well! We're definitely coming back again!

Absolutely love this place! Everything we got was delicious. The service was great and the wait staff were so friendly. We were visiting from out town and love to try dim sum everywhere we go. This is by far my favorite dim sum place. Their noodle dishes are delicious too!

Went here yesterday. Mom and son time and had a great experience of dim sum. Had many dishes. All were good. Came out hot and fresh. Service was great. Came back many times to check up on us. Will be coming back here!

Tried it for the first time today and absolutely loved it! The chow fun we ordered was the best we’ve tried in Columbus. It was fragrant and flavorful. The dim sum dishes were absolutely delicious. The xialongbao was just the regular soup dumpling—nothing bad just that it wasn’t anything special. But overall, we left very satisfied!

Many options to choose from, good atmosphere for a meal with friends or family, though a bit pricey compared to other dim sum places. Overall great food & can’t wait to return

It was so good that I returned there the same week. I have been looking for the best dim sum place in Columbus for the past two years. Thanks to the Columbus Foodie Facebook group that recommended this place. It was worth the 45 min driving 😆

Loved our Dim Sum experience. The fried calamari was *chefs kiss*. Also, the first time I tried red bean past buns, and I really enjoyed them.

Good restaurant. Friendly staff, helpful. Open concept. Tight seating. Okay selection of dishes. Price ranges from $5-$7 per dish depending on what you pick. Wait for food is about 10-15 minutes. Experience would have been much better if it was buffet style. The way is too long and hard to order if I don’t know the costs. Food was average for me. Great for my wife and that’s all that matters ☺️.

Ty Ginger is still the best dim sum restaurant in the Columbus area. My family is from Guangdong China where dim sum is very prevalent and we know what world class dim sum is like. While not world class and not the best in the world, it is easily better than anything else in Columbus and likely the best dim sum restaurant in Ohio. Dim sum is made to order and not on push carts, which should be preferred for anyone serious about dim sum. The interior was decently decorated back when the restaurant opened, but is now showing its age. I do wish the owners would apply a fresh coat of paint and replace the carpet to maintain the restaurant. There are small dings on the walls and the carpet is now very dirty. Still, we come here for the food and it's the best dim sum we have in the area by far. Coco cuisine does not compare.

So on my return trip to Cbus, I finally had the chance to try like the dim sum restaurant. Its always hard to do dim sum alone so thankfully I had a large party. The restaurant itself is set up pretty nice, like a modern, dimly lit but still Chinese aesthetic. It was nice and on a weekday afternoon, pleasantly busy but not loud. We ordered quite a bit of food, sadly some offerings were weekend only (congee and cheung fun). I will say, I was pleasantly surprised by all the food we got. Things tasted pretty good and there were all the dim sum classics available. Staff also spoke Canto and the owner is from Hong Kong so overall, about as authentic as you can get. I'm glad I finally got to try dim sum in Cbus and glad to hear they'll be opening another location closer to OSU's campus!

After more searching for that dim sum quality of our fond Sunflower memories, we came back here once again. We were impressed the last time. Now? They have really improved on what was already good! Five stars are not enough. The last time the Sticky Rice Lotus Leaf was not good, rotten looking leaf and sparse inside. This time, it was probably the best we have ever had. Amazing change! The leaves were like they were just picked (somehow), rice perfectly done, the mix of "treasures" was wonderful, flavorful and varied. The Custard Buns were even better (huge amt. of creamy salty sweet yolk), as were the Steamed Bean Curd Rolls and the Pea Tip Dumplings. The Special Chang Fun was a new dish to us as was the Cha Siu So - sweet, gooey, bbq pork in a salty crumbly pastry (like that of a pot pie). Both fantastic. The large turnip cakes were still very good, but when spread with the unique tasting chili crisp we had on the table, it soared. Also of note were the enormous pieces of stuffed egg plant - NOBODY does that! So delicious. And the delicate, lacy taro puffs.... We did wait a bit for our drinks, but really, who cares? Server wonderful, and in talking with her we found the chef is from Hong Kong and makes everything fresh. Well there you go! It really shows and his (or her) skill is more than apparent. Well, we will be going nowhere else for dim sum. I can't imagine any better than this.

We are visiting Dublin, Oh and thought to try some dim sum here, and ate at this fine establishment. It's near our hotel-the AC Dublin, entering the restaurant the owner/manager was greeting other customers, we were let to a booth, and immediate noticed that the place is clean and bright. Dim Sum took sometime to prepare after we ordered(no push carts ), and some of the main dim sum dishes are available only in weekends. Our waiter Jacob was very gracious, smiles when addressing us, he was a great server, (hope your tips are truly tax free)! Great Oolong tea, food, and service, we are going back for dinner tomorrow evening!

Lets get straight to the point. The dimsum are simply delicious. Unlike most dimsum places we had been to, this restaurant was oddly calming and not rushed at all. Probably helped in no small part by the lack of those dimsum trolley/carts that are pushed into your face as you're trying to enjoy what's on your table. If I had to pick just one, the Hung Sai Gow would be the star of the meal. The shrimp and cilantro filling were densely packed like a meatball; it was both hearty and bursting with flavours! We purchased another serving to go and it was a purchase well made. The turnip cakes is always one of our evergreens and this did not disappoint at all! The egg tarts were the least photogenic of the lot, looking pale and under-baked, but thankfully it tasted better than it looked. It was nothing to write home about, however with nothing to complain about either. The oddity, if we may so, for us was the sponge cake. We were curious and decided to try that on a lark. It was mildly sweet, very very bouncy and airy, and felt it must have been steamed instead of baked. We took it home and had it with our afternoon chai/milk-tea. It was delish. Actually we purchased one more to go so we were "blij ei" as the dutch would say! And oh, the mango pomelo shake was really good and I would highly recommend it (if you enjoy mangoes). The service was prompt and friendly, and the ambiance was calm and relaxing. I would definitely go back!

What a tasty dim sum experience! Arrived here with my family around noon on a Saturday and were promptly seated and drink orders taken. My coconut milk tea was very yummy! We all dug in quickly so I didn't get many photos but everything tasted great! Services was quite fast and everything was piping hot. We enjoyed our dishes while we relaxed in a booth in a slightly dimmer lit area and enjoyed seeing the restaurant patrons order a variety of dishes. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Overall nice experience and I highly recommend!

I love this place love that ass so much seating I love that we were able to get accommodated quickly. I know that they had a struggle with a language barrier, but they seem like they were in the family business. It looked like it could use some renovations, but other than that, it looks like all aesthetics the theme the culture all served by people of ethnic background and I also so happy the food was really good. The Boba was so so.

Highlight: Har Gow ($6.95), Siu Mai ($6.95), Xiao Long Bao ($5.95), Custard Bun ($5.95), Cha Siu Bao ($6.95), Quail Eggs Siu Mai ($7.95), Ham Sui Gok ($4.95), Pork Chang Fun ($6.95), Ball Law Bao ($5.95) Walking in and seeing a lot of Asian families, I knew it was a good sign. Came around 1 PM on a Saturday and most of the tables were filled. The majority of the dishes came out steaming hot. The sui mai was thick and filled with lots of ingredients. I came specifically looking forward to the ham sui gok and surprisingly that was the only dish that was closer to room temp. Still had a slight crunch on the outside, chewy mochi with seasoned pork inside. The custard buns had a more sweet and salted egg yolk taste, which was different but tasty. Overall, all of the dishes were packed with flavor. Hospitality: Quick and efficient. Food came out as it was ready and you'll need to wave the staff down if you are wanting additional service. Honorable Mention: Lots of seating and the place looks clean and new. Lots of food options to choose from.

Every time I come to Columbus this is on the first or second day must. Dim sum is the way to go. The place is about as authentic as it can get. The service is prompt and they stagger out the dishes in logical way at an unhurried pace. The dining room is simple and clean. They do have a bar and happy hour options. On the weekend there are mimosa and Bloody Mary options for $5

I was in town to visit a dear friend, and we "needed" dim sum. She had scouted out some places, and here we came. This restaurant is located in a strip mall and offers plenty of free parking in front. Oh, my heck, this was one of the BEST dim sum restaurants that I have ever had. Better than NYC, San Fran and Las Vegas where I live. The dumplings were unbelievable. They were not the "one biters." but you had to pick the dumplings up with your chopsticks and take three to four bites. (Or cut with your fork!) Everything was delicious, hot and fresh. The bad part? Since there were only two of us, I only ordered seven items. Each were as amazing as the next. There were, easily, another 10 other dishes I would have ordered we had had more people. Our service was excellent and could not have asked for better. I highly recommend.

Mother's Day dim sum at Ty Ginger Asian Bistro was a delicious way to start the day. The restaurant was packed (with lines out the door), but the service was lightning fast and attentive. We just kept ordering ... siu mai dumplings, soup dumplings, potstickers, egg rolls, scallion pancakes, shrimp stuffed crab claws- and a great Bloody Mary. The ambience was quite festive as the restaurant was full by the time we arrived for our 11 AM reservation. Thai Ginger Asian Bistro serves dim sum all day seven days a week and it's about as good as it gets here in Columbus. The chrysanthemum tea tasted as pretty as it looks.

I ordered take out to try some of their dim sum items! My favorites were definitely the Ham Sui Gok and the xiao long bao. Everything tasted super fresh and my order was ready quickly! I feel like everything was priced pretty reasonably! It's definitely easy to over order with dim sum so make sure to invite some friends :)

Derek the old man skinny short asian man has. shitty attitude , busy yes but calm down , we all know - but proffesional without hurting customer by your rolling eyes and shouting ! definetly he cannot handle it well , Hospitality is the main thing in restaurant industry , Otherwise you just work an IT behind computer no dealing with anyone

Food and service were wonderful. Mant choices for sushi as well as other tasty dishes. A lovely resturant with a great ambiance.

Ty Ginger has all of the dim sum staples like shrimp dumplings, pork buns, and soup dumplings, as well as special dishes like the curry fish balls. The crab dumplings were also really chewy and delicious, with fish eggs on top. Chili oil is essential if you like a spicy kick and I also enjoyed their pickled peppers! Their dishes are made from scratch and served from open to close every day! They were out of some things like the rice rolls when we got there, but the options were so vast that there was still so much to choose from. They also serve other Chinese or Vietnamese dishes if you are not a dim sum person! They give you a slip of paper with all of the options and once you mark them, you hand it to the server who comes out with your order. Service was quick and efficient in cleaning up our dishes as well. As for drinks, if you like a sweeter drink then definitely try the lychee martini! It was refreshing with a lychee for garnish. They also have happy hour deals 3-5pm Mon-Fri

Delicious Dimsum experience! No dimsum carts here, everything is order by the menu. They also have a la cart dishes and we tried the Black bean clams which was delish! Fast service as well. HOWEVER, when we dined for dinner, our server admitted she forgot to tell us that dimsum orders' last call is at 8:30pm and we frustratingly wanted to order more, they closed at 9:30pm that weekend. So something to keep in mind. We would love to be back though. Happy tummy!

Ordered carryout of kung pao shrimp. It was hot. The vegetables and the sauce were delicious but the shrimp were "gamey". Tasted spoiled. Never again.

Good food and service. Tofu lettuce wraps were good. Also tried Kung Pao Tofu and some more dishes.

They are unfriendly and loud and rude for no reason. Food came out late and cold..............

If they don't half way ignore you, the food isn't good at an ethnic restaurant!!! Lol I speak a bit Mandarin so that went a long way with the service though. Also any dim sum place needs to smell like a kitchen that has been cleaned constantly for the ambiance of it all. Special shout out for them placing families on one side and nonAsian couples or families on the othet. This is the only place I found that reminds me of Chicago hometown Chinatown. Where I honed my chops and chopsticks! They get kudos for having great vegetarian and seafood options for those that don't eat meat or pork like me. The buns and potstickers are my favorite. Waiting on coming in during the rush brunch for the congee and donuts still!

The food here is amazing! The dim sum, in my opinion, as well as my family's opinion, is the best we have had. A huge selection and nice service and a very pleasant setting make for a wonderful experience.

My friend and I visited to try the dim sum. Honestly, I had in my mind dim sum = dumplings, so I was little overwhelmed when I saw the menu! After some deliberation and a little help from the server, we decided on the char sui bao bun, lotus leaf wrapped sticky rice, mini soup dumplings, and deep fried sticky rice balls. There's a lot of seating, even for larger groups. It looks pretty good for kids as far as seating and space goes. The char sui bun was SO good! The bread is soft and fluffy and the meat isn't too sweet. I could probably eat 3-4 of them easily! The mini soup dumplings were really good too. The soup is flavorful and if you add the chili oil, it's really good! The lotus leaf and deep fried stick rice were not my favorite. I like sticky rice but it was different. Definitely fun to try but I wouldn't suggest it.

My wife is a big fan of dim sum so we went here for her birthday. Overall we were not impressed. It was just average tasting dim sum. My son had the lo mein and it was very bland. Service was good and staff were friendly.

I'm upgrading my review. It's been a while since we came here. It was for a happy hour and I came away somewhat disappointed. Well this time we came for dim sum (cart service) on a Sunday afternoon. This is a popular place for dim sum so expect to wait. And it is popular with good reason. This is probably the best dimsum that I've had in Columbus. It still doesn't compare to dim sum in big US cities but i thought it was better than the other places in Columbus. The service is also friendly and efficient and almost all of the items we tried were good. Their rice in banana leaves is not great but not bad. It's definitely my go to place for dimsum in the Columbus area now.

I went here with some friends for Dim Sum and had an amazing time. We got there for lunch on a Saturday and it was kind of busy, but we were still seated right away. It definitely seemed like a popular dim sum spot. The inside was really nice. They have us papers to check off how many of each thing we wanted so we got to work the moment we sat down. The food came out in a decent amount of time and it was good! I think my favorite were the crabmeat dumplings. They looked so cool with the roe on top and they were delicious. We also ordered the Xiao Long Bao (Soup Dumplings), Cha Siu (Pork Buns), Siu Mai (Pork and Shrimp Dumplings), pork chang fun (pork rice roll), shrimp chang fun (shrimp rice rolls), and scallion pancakes. All of the things we ordered were amazing, especially the rice rolls. There are many delicious options here for Dim Dum and I would definitely go back!

Grateful to have found this spot. I've missed good dim sum soooo much, and this has been on my list to try for a year now since we've moved. Was not disappointed whatsoever and will be back! I love the location, and it's huge! I can definitely see it getting packed on weekends, so plan accordingly. We got the wonton soup, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, xiao long bao, har gow, shu mai, and the bbq pork buns, along with the crispy pan fried noodles with chicken. All excellent! Best xiao long baos in Columbus we've had. Shu Mai was good, but not anything crazy so maybe would go without that. DEFINITELY GET THE CRISPY PAN FRIED NOODLES! The gravy on top and just everything was so delicious. I loved their happy hour menu, and overall environment was beautiful along with service. We will most certainly be back very soon!

Growing up with Filipino grand parents from New York, they would bring white boxes from China Town filled with little delights. As an adult I haven't had some of these flavors in quite some time. I found Ty Ginger on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately they were sold out of the Pork Buns, the main reason I stopped. So I checked out the rest of the menu and decided on sesame balls, bbq pork bao, steamed rice cake, and these little crispy chewy dumplings filled with bbq pork. The rice cakes were straight out of my childhood. I haven't had these in 40 years. Just made me smile. The sesame balls were a nice size and filled with sweat red bean paste. I've found these at different places, but these were really good. Not greasy but had a nice crust to them. The bbq pork bao were also very good. They were steamed and open, usually I don't see them open like that. I really liked the consistency of the bao bun and the pork was just right. They had some chili oil in a small cup which I drizzled on the meat. Very very good. Last were the little football shaped crispy rice dumplings filled with bbq pork. A little greasy but still very good. I also dipped these into the chili oil. Total about $28 with tip. Not bad to sample flavors from the past. They have a pretty extensive list of choices so I'm sure I'll be back to try more. And of course the Pork Buns which are only available on weekends and sell out before 3pm!

This one of the few places we found that had dim sum. We came on a Sunday afternoon and were seated right away. As we headed out around 1, there was a line. The restaurant is nice and spacious. The food was average, and a bit on the pricy side. It can also be hard to flag down the staff.

Just wanted to leave a tip here that their Google hours say they close at 9 and their yelp hours close anywhere between 9:30 and 10:30. We went on a Friday night and were not able to eat because apparently the kitchen closes at 8! We saw another couple try to go in like 2 min before us and then saw them walk out so we were a bit confused on if they were closed. So we double checked the hours before walking in, but we were also turned away. Since we were only passing through the area, it was a bit of a disappointment because we really wanted to try this restaurant. But I guess if you're a local, you can just try to go again whenever you want. I would love to eventually try this place and update this review though!! But please update your hours

Absolutely amazing dim sum and a server always giving great suggestions. Busy lunch spot served very efficiently. Shrimp and scallops were the best.

Went here because of a friends birthday Nothing on the menu says "vegan". They go as far as labeling vegetarian however , we did ask for the Kung pao tofu and tofu pad Thai with no egg, no meat and the server immediately answer: "and no fish sauce " which leads me to believe it's vegan. Both dishes and the scallion pancake were very good. Best pad Thai I had in Columbus. Will definitely come again

Itit was a really cool experience, quick, & good service! Happy that you can get some dim sum on Columbus!   I would recommend going on a sat or sun b/c thats when they have the full menu. We went on fri & there were things we wanted to try that were not available.    I would recommend the pot stickers, soup dumplings, crabmeat dumplings, bbq pork bun   I would not recommend the fried shrimp balls, stuffed pepper. The service was VERY fast but some of the dim sum was cold -- like it has been sitting out for a while

We were hungry so when the food came I forgot to take pics. Sorry, there are some pics of food after we started to eat. Service is fast, dim sum came in nice n hot! Almost as good as NYC dim sum. The curry dishes were ok, a bit dry. Not too spicy.

Best place for dim sum in the city, hands down, and there's no comparison. They are fast, the selection is plentiful, and all the food is top notch.

Been here twice now for Dim Sum. I would've never known it was here! It gets pretty busy during weekend Dim Sum so get here early! You put your name on a list and they don't sit you until your entire party is there. Pretty extensive menu for dim sum. From dumplings to noodles to duck, you can probably find something someone wants to eat. It can get a little pricey. For 4-5 people we paid around $150-$160. Gratuity is already included in your bill.

Pretty darn good! I love everything that I ordered. It came in small portions so you can try more stuff but these were enough for my tummy, I was full already. The restaurant was super busy but once we ordered, our food came in a short time period. We got there around 11am and left around 12:40 and there was a line! Make sure you get your party ready, they won't seat you until everybody show up, which is nice! My favorite was scallion pancake! I ate almost all of them! All the buns were good both bbq pork and custard. My least favorite was egg tart, so sad. It came in a room temperature it made the egg tart smell too eggy. Definitely go back there again for an early breakfast or brunch.

Came here for a small celebration a few days ago with my partner, and we were both satisfied with our experience. The place is pretty unassuming; it's got a good number of tables, a bar, and you can see into the kitchen. As others have said, the food was very tasty and the prices are moderate. The char sui bao were my favorite. The XLB had a delicious flavor but lacked broth. My partner loved the sui mai. The service was quick (we went on a Monday evening with no crowd). The man who brought out our dishes was extremely friendly and happy to tell us about what we ordered and make recommendations. We only ordered off the dim sum menu, so my review can't speak for everything they offer; but we were pleased with what we got.

I came here from a suggestion from a friend, and it was really nice! The restaurant was very clean, and had plenty of seating. I love how their menu shows different foods that can be gluten free, as that is something I need. I ordered the pad Thai with chicken made gluten free. Usually gluten free pad Thai means the sauce is different. Food came out fairly quickly, and the portion size of my plate was huge! Was definitely enough for two meals. The pad Thai was good, although a little bit bland. The lime definitely helped with the flavor of the sauce. However I understand most gluten free pad Thai sauces aren't as flavorful due to the absence of soy sauce. There was a good amount of chicken so that made up for it. My friend ordered from the dim sum menu, which she highly recommend! The dishes are made to order and homemade. She really enjoyed it. Overall, we had a good time here. Prices are fair for the portions. Service was friendly and helpful. I'd probably come again next time I'm in town.

I often go to this place for dine and carry out. Good food...never again! Service was absolutely atrocious. My order took forever, even though tables around me received food, who ordered 15-20 minutes after me. Server extremely sarcastic and rude. Management did not do anything aside from provide excuses. So many different great options in this market. Avoid this one if you want good service and a place with A/C.

Best zaocha in Columbus. Staff are friendly. Ambiance is good. Located at Dublin with is nice and quiet.

Wish they offered the chang fun (rice noodle crepe) on weekdays! Was disappointed to find out that some of the dim sum options were only served on saturday & sunday :( We ended up ordering the ham sui gok dim sum, combination chow fun and xiao long bao (soup dumplings). Everything was fresh and delicious. The dim sum was more on the pricier side than what im used to but then again it was expected as this is probably the only dim sum place in Columbus. Service and atmosphere was friendly. On a major holiday week, the place wasnt too packed. Would revisit next time im in Ohio.

Delicious!!! I went here with my husband because I heard they had the best soup dumplings in town. Spoiler, they do! Sadly my pic of the dumplings was blurry so it is not on here. Anyway, we got crab Rangoon and soup dumplings to shafts. He had general tso chicken and I had low mein. Everything was sooo good, huge portions and fresh!! Apparently they have a dim sum cart on the weekends, which I'm going to have to try right away. Service was good, no mistakes and fast. Food was (drool), so good, and the dumplings literally explode in your mouth. Will be back again and again!

I was watching a cooking show where they visited a dimsum restaurant and when that rice noodle-wrapped cruller made an appearance, the craving took hold. After consulting a foodie local, I decided to make the trip to Ty Ginger. Dimsum is typically served during brunch, so it's nice that it's offered all day. The downside is that it usually means no cart service. I still think it's worth the weekend brunch visit (10:30am-3:00pm) because that menu includes rice rolls, custard tarts, and baked pork buns. I arrived on a Saturday 15 minutes before 3:00 and was seated right away. The friendly server offered me a menu and pencil to make my selections. When she noticed the tick marks for the egg tart and rice rolls, she immediately stepped away to place those orders before the deadline. Egg tarts were sold out, so I doubled up on the rice noodles. Dimsum was pre-made, but I did not think there was a sacrifice in quality. I quite enjoyed the dimsum here and it's mainly because the complaint I have about the dimsum back home in San Gabriel Valley is that it's served up dry. I am big into dipping sauces and I'm constantly having to ask for hot mustard refills. I'm a big fan of Ty Ginger because a lot of the dishes came sauced. Additionally, they give you a side of chili oil and a soy dipping sauce with jalapeno. There was a good variety of pescatarian options and I had to narrow my selection. The Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce was a lovely side and the turnip cakes were generously portioned like steaks. The crullers were a tad on the crunchier side, but still enjoyable. The scallion cakes were a lovely, flaky texture. Har gow was generously portioned. There were three tea options and I went with jasmine. Service was friendly and attentive. Shared lot in a strip mall location.

An absolutely unexpected, delicious dim sum spot in Dublin! It happened--way too much time has elapsed since we last enjoyed dim sum and the cravings arose. After turning to Yelp (as we always do) for research on where to go, Ty Ginger emerged as a well-reviewed candidate. After entering it into the GPS, exiting the freeway at Tuttle-Crossing, and going through a few roundabouts, we found ourself in a nice plaza in which businesses had the signature Dublin brick exteriors. Located next to Jets Pizza sat Ty Ginger. Upon entering right when they open at 11am, we were greeted by what appeared to be the manager. He was very friendly as we engaged in conversation. The phone was ringing while orders continuously came through on a tablet. As with many businesses, he commented on the current shortage of folks in the workforce as many businesses are looking to hire (Ty Ginger included). Shortly after, an employee showed us to a booth and provided the Dim Sum menu. It was printed in color and very visual. Though a handful of items were not available, selection was still plentiful including many of our favorites. We opted for: - Har Gow: steamed shrimp dumplings in a translucent wrapper. High quality jumbo shrimp. - Shu Mai: steamed pork and shrimp dumplings. Plentiful filling. - Bean Curd Rolls: Pork and shrimp stuffed in chewy bean curd rolls covered in a brown sauce - Pork Spare Ribs: steamed in black bean sauce. - Taro Puffs: stuffed with minced pork and taro then fried. Beautiful presentation with thin spreads of taro on the exterior. Everything was cooked-to-order and came out piping hot. The freshness and quality of ingredients were truly outstanding. We later learned that the consulting Chef has over 5 decades of experience with a deep specialization in Chinese cuisine. The service was outstanding. Warm and professional, plus my water cup was always full. We enjoyed the atmosphere as well - the decor was elegant and upscale though we didn't feel out of place in our casual attire. Pricing came out to $5-6/dish and under $20/person for the two of us. Overall, an outstanding meal! Definitely recommended and looking forward to trying more of their menu in the future. Thanks to the team for a fantastic experience.

Close to work, this is a popular lunch favorite to fellow co-workers. I tried Ty's to go. I got the honey walnut chicken and a cup of wonton soup. The wonton soup was delicious on a cold wintery day. The walnut chicken was really good too. The lunch portion was filling, leaving me enough for a light dinner as well. I was able to place an order right at the restaurant and my food came within 10 minutes. I liked the fast service and tasty food options. I tried to order the mango pudding, sadly they only make it on the weekends.

I really love Ty Ginger when I'm in the mood for dim sum. I've been here a few times and tried a good amount of the items on that menu and have mostly enjoyed them all. The ones I didn't like as much weren't anything offensive, just nothing special. The standard menu is decent but not quite as good in my opinion. Service is always great and prices are fair in my opinion.

First of all if you love dim sum, you need to try this place out! Every dim sum we tried was delicious, mouth watering, and tasty! Our waiter was attentive and friendly :) The food here was decently priced not overly expensive at all. I wish this place was near me so I can always stuff my face with dim sums lol

So new in Columbus: this place for dim sum is pretty decent. We got a bunch of things to share and these are some highlights: The food: My friend who has been here a while states and I quote, the best dim sums in Columbus. I've had dim sum everywhere including Hong Kong and they're pretty decent. They had custard buns which is a bonus (only cos I only see a hand full of places in the us that have these) and they were pretty good, wish it was runnier inside but I really enjoyed having them (as it had been a while) The har gao and the siew Mais were on point The fried turnip cakes are pretty darn good - and if you've never had fried turnip cakes do yourself a favor and try these ( I can't believe I didn't try them until I did) The roasted pork buns or char siew pau was alright, nothing super special but not bad either The congee tho was the bomb. We had the one with the century egg and it's Asian comfort food. The creamy texture from the egg yolk and jelly chewiness of the egg white (or in this case black) mixed in a warm well cooked porridge that you would definitely crave. And the next must have would be the pea shoots with garlic - as Asians moms always say you gotta have your veggies, these are the ones my mom would not have to force me to eat cos I would be licking the plate before she told me to eat it. The service: Our waiter was really funny. He did give us a heads up to put all the orders in cos it'll be an hour wait if we decided to add more orders later for the 2nd round to come out The atmosphere: Pretty classic dim sum shop, unfortunately no carts - but I think they've moved away from these since covid The price: I don't know if it's cos of inflation but it was a little pricier than what I was used to in Chicago. It's almost 7 for a plate but I think it's worth it if you're having cravings... which is why I took off a star But would definitely go back again, and seems a friend if ours has been here at least 4 times in 2 months so that's saying something about their quality for sure!
