We had a great dining experience overall! The prime brisket was absolutely delicious—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It was definitely the highlight of our meal. The spicy octopus was also a surprising hit, even with the kids, who usually shy away from spicy dishes. The heat was well-balanced and not overwhelming, making it enjoyable for the whole family. The noise level was moderate, which made it easy to have conversations without feeling like we were shouting. It added to the lively atmosphere without being overwhelming. Our server was very attentive, checking in at the right times and making sure everything was to our liking, which really elevated the dining experience. One small downside was the beef belly. While it was flavorful, the texture was a bit tough—especially for the younger kids. It might be better suited for adults or older kids who can handle a chewier cut of meat. Despite that, everything else was enjoyable and well-prepared. The quality of food and service will definitely bring us back again. It’s a great spot for families looking for something a bit different yet still kid-friendly. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Decided to go solo and they were able to accommodate. I recommend coming with friends and family for some Korean BBQ. The staff were friendly, the sides were great and they had an affordable menu from lunch specials and dinner options. Can’t wait to come back!

The two times I’ve gone I must say we had really nice waiters/waitress. Shout out to Bryan and Sam for making both of my visit there with my family amazing. Both have awesome personalities and fast with bring out the food. Sam went above and beyond for my kids in accommodating their needs I reallly appreciate it.

Google
Food quality was not what we expected from K-BBQ, quality of the meat was low and the kimchi tasted quite stale. Service was ok but would’ve been better had the drinks been refilled in the course of 2 hours and the heating tray replaced when it was smoking badly from not being replaced often enough. The fire for our grill went out multiple times. The seating offered to us was immediately adjacent to the door making it noisy and we were bumped into by guests continuously throughout the night. Just a very mid experience overall, will go to Red Castle next time. was way too loud and kinda trashy.

Google
Best thing about this place is there's a bar area with grills great for solo diners! The service is very friendly, though it does get busy so sometimes it takes a bit longer to get things out or place another order. Plenty of meat options to choose from, including some seafood like shrimp and mussels. The steamed egg is amazing. The bean paste soup was a little cold though. Brisket and bulgogi weredecent but I think I wasn't too much of a fan of the beef compared to other kbbq places. Pork belly was a lot better!

Really amazing all you can eat. It was my wife’s and my first time. The service was amazing, our server she was the best I should have remembered her name. We are definitely coming back

Google
U Grill Korean BBQ is a solid spot if you’re craving a good, filling meal. The all-you-can-eat setup gives you a ton of meat options—pork belly, bulgogi, short ribs—all fresh and tasty. Grilling at the table is a fun experience, and the side dishes are solid and constantly refilled. They’ve also got a good drink selection—cold beer, soju bombs, and cocktails that hit the spot. If you’ve got room after all the meat, they offer some dessert options too, which is a nice touch. The place is clean, laid back, and great for groups. Staff is friendly and quick to help. Definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
I was there about two years ago and I get here again and it's was still good! You can cook your own. You just like chef and cook like pro. And service is nice. My Ambiance? It's good. Notice, this photo is from two years ago.

Yelp
This was one of the worst Korean BBQ experiences I've had. The meat was low quality, and the side dishes tasted like they'd been sitting around far too long. The kimchi seemed spoiled, the rice was dried and hard, and the kimchi soup was both old-tasting and way too salty. The japchae was so overloaded with sugar it was inedible. As for the drinks--my soju cocktail tasted like chemicals. I ended up switching to a beer, even though I don't drink beer, just to get that taste out of my mouth. If you're familiar with real Korean food, you'll be disappointed. This place feels like it's catering to people who don't know the difference. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Yelp
U-Grill has been a family favorite over the last few years. We used to frequent Gen Korean BBQ, but U-Grill is much better when it comes to service and overall flavor. The service has always been great here. Your food is dropped at the table pretty quickly and our servers have been great. The inside of the restaurant has a clean and modern feel and the seating is very comfortable if you are able to grab a booth. We dropped in for lunch on a Saturday and menu option A was $29.99 per person. There are more options with menu B, but it costs more and really we're okay with menu A. Our favorites to order are the beef brisket and beef belly. I know there's a lunch menu, but this is only available Monday thru Friday. Overall, we have never had a bad experience and the food and service are great. Will be returning!

Yelp
Service was great this time around . I forgot my waiters name but he had long hair kinda like a lion. In a good way of course . But he was on top of service and had a smile on the whole time . He made our experience here far better than other times

Yelp
This place is awesome! Food is very fresh and it's very clean and cold in here. My favorite Korean bbq. Staff was attentive too!

Yelp
Pretty disappointed with the quality of the meats. I wish they had some sort of potato side dish. You need to ask for rice paper which we didn't do towards the end but normally they come with the side dish. Their steamed egg portion is a lot smaller than other places. Restaurant is spacious. Overall the only good thing that this kbbq offered was our really nice waitress, she was patient with our party of 10. Not a lot of ppl eating here at the time but they had a lot of employees working. Giving 2 stars bc our waitress was so polite

Yelp
Decent KBBQ place, with the lunch pricing (Mon-Friday, until 4pm) at $23.99. They have pretty much everything you'd expect from a KBBQ place, with a few additions that I haven't seen much elsewhere: curry chicken, for instance, and really big prawns. I can't speak to the quality of the pork (as I didn't order any), but everything I tried was fresh. That said, the beef belly cut was a little unfortunate. I got a couple orders, thinking maybe I just got the first time, but all the plates were extremely fatty. Don't get me wrong, I expect fat when it comes to beef belly, but this was ~90% fat. Ventilation was pretty poor inside. There was a lot of smoke inside constantly. Also, the safety standards seem lax. When the waitress was changing the grill, there was a lot of oil just slung onto the floor. Sometimes there's a place at the table to slot old grills into, but not here. No one cleaned up the oil or anything, so it was just a slipping hazard.

Yelp
Wanted to eat at a late night spot and luckily, this was open around the area. First, this is a pretty good location as it's near the freeway and right on Foothill Blvd. It's a really big restaurant with a lot of seating and a bar area. While walking around, it was really sticky. The same can be said of the tables and chairs. The ban chan was okay. I liked the fish cake. But I didn't like their kimchi or bean sprouts. I liked the flavor of the cucumber kimchi more than the regular kimchi. Japchae was also just okay. The fish cake was pretty good. The quality of the beef was okay. We had the beef belly, beef brisket, and pork belly. All were fine. Nothing to complain about but nothing to rave about either. What stood out to us was our server. He was super friendly and nice. He was really quick with our orders and anything else we needed. He was what really made this a 4-star experience.

Yelp
There was an after taste, like chemicals. Not sure it was from the meat or the grill. Maybe the stuffs they cleaned the grill with?? My son and I couldn't enjoy my food. I wish we could order lettuce to wrap our meat as well. We got salad, that helped. Some of the bancans are good, some just ok. I never got disappointed with Korean bbq before :-(

Yelp
This spot was alright, but not quite what we were hoping for. We were really craving KBBQ and decided to try it out since we were far from our usual go-to in Koreatown. Walking in, we were surprised we had to wait to be seated. It was a little after lunch time and not that many people inside but I guess they were short-staffed. Regardless, we got seated after about 10 minutes. Unfortunately, our table was on the side without a TV, and there wasn't any music playing either. Felt like something was needed. The floors were sticky, which is common for KBBQ spots, but there was residue left on the chairs and table. The grills smoked easily and led to the grill burning quickly. Having to flag down the waiter to switch the grill each time wasn't ideal. To be fair, he did have to attend to multiple tables. I will say most of the meat wasn't bad and I liked the lunch price discount that was offered from 11am to 4pm M-Fri. I enjoyed the marinated bulgogi and it made me happy to get radish paper and rice paper. I'd say this trip was enough to hold me over until I head into LA. Btw there is a tesla charging station next to it. Youll want to avoid parking near it as the lines get pretty long and you're trapped.

Yelp
A solid 4.5 stars for U-grill! Noah, our server, was awesome and he gladly gave us meat suggestions that were worth eating. The meats are perfectly portioned well and the marinated meats were not too salty. Ample table space for our plates and drinks. The banchan was ok...I've had better. Prices imo are pretty reasonable compared to other restaurants I've been too. Plenty of parking space and an electric car station across from the establishment!

Yelp
Good vibes for a K bbq restaurant. Meat quality is Ok but not too many options for beef on the menu A. Service wasn't that attentative comparing to others.

Yelp
Parking: Plenty available Ambience: Came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was fairly empty. In terms of scent and appearance, seems like one of the cleaner KBBQ restaurants I've been to. Service: Service was quick and friendly, and our orders didn't take long to arrive. Grills were changed often. When we asked for additional side dishes, they gave us plenty and we didn't have to ask for additional refills, which I appreciated. Taste: Bulgogi was marinated well, but brisket was a bit rougher and drier than had hoped for (although maybe we just left it on the grill for too long). Our party liked the sauces provided. I only wish they had the mashed potato salad as one of the available side dishes, but overall, it's a pretty good place and would recommend!

Yelp
Wow the hostess Mia was so nice and silly and pretty she's the best and deserves a raise!

Yelp
U-grill Korean barbecue is a great place to go. They have your traditional Korean foods such as Bulgogi brisket and other staples and they also have a couple more adventurous dishes for those who prefer a more authentic taste. The waitresses are always very kind and very attentive. I also find this place to be very reasonably priced to be an all you can eat food place that has quality food, quality service, and clean restaurant. This is definitely a crowd pleaser I would feel comfortable taking anybody here to have a nice social dinner.

Yelp
The food was amazing and it was very delicious. The service was impressive, our waiter named Gavin was so nice and friendly, he helped us out because it was our first time there, if you're reading this Gavin we will never forget you handsome guy. The ambiance was amazing as well , we will definitely come back soon.

Yelp
The review would have been a 3 if it wasn't for the manager Mark. When we got there he walked us to the table and we said can we have the other table because it had a room for the stroller and he kinda of went back and forth then Pointed to the front and said make your way back to the host stand then. It was how he said it that was kind of rude and a few other times during the meal. I'm not sure if he was having a bad day but it wasn't great service on his end. The server Ivan was great changed our grill often and was very attentive.

Yelp
This is our favorite spot for Korean BBq. The food is delicious & they have a variety of meat. The sides are so good & they give you a lot when you want more. The service is nice & friendly. They have alot of big tables that works out for us because we usually have 20+. The ambiance is warm & comfortable.

Yelp

Yelp
I would've Gaven this a five star if I went solely based on my first visit but after visiting a second time I had a bit of a different experience. All the meat choices are great and they also have a nice lunch special deal that ends at 4. Honestly this is probably one of the k bbq spots that has the most meat choices in menu a, usually you have to upgrade to get seafood but this one had some options for the lowest grade menu which is nice. Also worth noting they have corn cheese and jap chae noodles (warm) which several places do not offer. The first time I came here we kept ordering jap chae so much so they ended up giving us a huge bowl of it which we finished of course, the second visit I kept doing the same and they just kept bringing small portions which just made me feel like a bother because of course I was going to keep ordering more lol. Also they didn't give us rice paper my second visit and seemed to come around less. But they were good about changing the grills every round of meat. The macaroon ice creams they have are also tasty (extra charge fyi) Both times I've been I will not lie the tables have not been cleaned properly, there's always some wet spot on the seat or grease on the table. I will say though whoever has the aux at this restaurant needs to become a dj tbh because the way it was hitting lol honestly made my experience all that much better !vibey forsure

Yelp
There was a long wait to get seated and to be honest, it's not worth it. Meat quality and service were just OK. Ventilation wasn't great, you could tell the vent hoods aren't the best if you could smell the kbbq from outside. We had a group of 5 and they brought out such small portions, with a max of 4 dishes at a time. They weren't attentive and slow in bringing out what we requested. I repeated myself for a cup to share a large beer and didn't receive it until after a long while. Our grill was smoking and extremely black burnt and there were no grill changes unless we asked. There's 2 U-Grill locations in Rancho, make sure you and your buddies meet up at the correct one! Surprised to see it packed here, people need to get introduced to better KBBQ around this IE area.

Yelp
I have been going here for over a decade. I have left multiple 5 star reviews. This review is from May of this year. I noticed there were a lot more negative reviews around May and June. Here are the reasons I gave 1 star: - The food quality has diminished as has the flavor. - The sides keep changing and some of the great stuff they had before is no longer there. For example, their potato salad was one of my favorites; gone. Even the kimchi doesn't taste right. - It takes forever to get orders fulfilled, drinks, sides, banchan, meats, etc. Sometimes you have to ask 3 or 4 servers to finally get something you ordered almost a half hour prior. -The final straw and the reason I will NEVER go back here again is that we were kicked out. I had no clue about a 2 hour rule. I hadn't seen it anywhere, no servers ever told me about it. This last visit was for a birthday. We had already had our final round of meats. We were just finishing up and had asked the server to do the Happy Birthday song. She said she'd get it set up, but instead came back with a manager that told us we had to leave because the two hour limit had been reached. We were astonished. Why didn't our server mention or warn us of this at all? How do you expect us to finish eating in that time when it takes 20-30 minutes to get every little thing we asked for? They couldn't just have sung the song as we were leaving right after anyhow? Instead our Happy Birthday song was You Have to Leave and embarrassed us in front of everyone? None of us had ever been kicked out of anything, much less a restaurant before. For more than a decade I had been going there and promoting this estableshment to everyone that wanted Korean food. Heck, the main photo on yelp to represent their restaurant is MY photo! (I noticed that soon after I posted this review, they changed the photo after like three years) I'm so disappointed that they did us so bad when I was such a boon for them. I guess I'll be going to Gen Q, Red Castle and a few places in Riverside.

Yelp
Love the service, love the ambiance (the music of choice is always on point for us millennials). You can't forget about the food! The food is amazing especially the banchan. ! Will Come here once a year for a treat yo self high end kbbq
google avatar

Rhina M.

Yelp
The food is great! At kbbq we always order beef belly and brisket. They have a variety of banchan to choose from. The service is excellent. The staff are efficient and friendly. The ambiance is a bit too dark but doable. Downside is that you smell like bbq when you leave then you get hungry again

Yelp
Making this review to bring awareness to the wait time here: My partner and I came here on Sunday (11/03) at around 3 pm. We put our name& number down and they said it would take 45 mins. We checked in about 30 mins later and the girl said "there's a 5 people ahead of you so it will be 20 more minutes". We stood outside and waited an extra 40 mins. When I checked in again at the front, the girl checked the sign in sheet and told me that they called us but we didn't answer. My partner did not get any message or phone call. I can tell that she missed my boyfriend's name on the sheet and it seems like we were forgotten. So the same person resumed to tell me "we'll seat you in 15mins". Upon waiting inside, we noticed two other families starting to get impatient as well. By then we were waiting 2+ hours and it was about 5:30pm by the time my partner and I decided to leave. We've been to this Ugrill many times and we were really disappointed this day. I understand that the wait time can be lengthy for a table BUT it is another problem if you are not being truthful about the wait time. I also did not appreciate that the girl who spoke to me told me that "they called us" but we "didn't answer". I felt like she was making an excuse up just to cover up that she missed our name. As much as we enjoy the general food and service here, this experience made my partner and I decided not to come back to this location

Yelp
Seated quickly despite it being the weekend. Good service. Had the option for 2 types of menus for all you can eat. Good meat options and sides. Got the brisket, beef bulgogi, chicken teriyaki and spicy bulgogi. The meat was brought to the table quickly. Large servings. They were all decent, not the best quality meat but seasoned well. The glass noodles were really good. Not the best Korean BBQ place I have been to but their fast service makes up for the quality of meat.

Yelp
QUALITY WENT WAY DOWN! PRICES UP. We're here before lunch ended and it's a Monday with plenty of tables open. They won't seat us until after lunch ended so they won't have to honor the lunch price difference. I noticed prices went up but the quality went waaaay down. The fat on the meats made cutting with the scissors so hard! We weren't full but stopped eating because every meat (Galbi, Jalapeño Beef belly) were all mainly fat). Service was not good for a weekday.
google avatar

Janette B.

Yelp
Came here previously for a business meeting. It was on a weekday around lunch and there was no wait. I decided to take my family here Saturday evening. Oh my, the wait was horrendous and ridiculous. I do not recommend coming here unless you call and ask for the wait time. It was 2 hours. There are two locations, choose the other one. But if you were one of the many few who waited it out, I guess you could say it was worth it. It was very festive inside with a club-like vibe. Customer service was phenomenal and these guys were very efficient. Despite the pressure of hangry customers, the servers remained vibrant and upbeat! Im just not a big fan of the screaming during birthday shoutouts. These guys are like doing the Hakka, scares the skin out of me lol. A great place for korean bbq if you can handle the wait.
google avatar

Javier S.

Yelp
Good food, a bit pricey. I ordered the all you can eat dinner. The meats were delicious, the side were good too (just wish they had more variety. The Service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was clean and well ventilated. My only negative is that it was a little expensive for Korean BBQ (and that's saying something, considering Korean BBQ is pricey in general)
google avatar

Yelp
Had a great time at UGrill. The beef was incredibly fresh (not the frozen kind you sometimes get elsewhere), and every cut was tender and full of flavor. Ivan, our server, was amazing--super friendly, always making sure we had what we needed, from refilling sides to swapping out our grill without us even asking. The vibe was lively with the Dodgers vs. Padres game on all the TVs, but still laid-back since the music was at the perfect volume. It made for a nice, relaxed dinner with my siblings. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

Yelp
Waited about 30 minutes but waitress was nice and the food was tasty and atmosphere was great

Yelp
U Grill is definitely the kbbq I frequent the most due to it being close to home and usually never busy when me and my wife go. It is a solid choice if you are close by and don't feel like dropping a bit more, in terms of price. The location is clean, but I will say, service is a hit or miss. Meat choices are good for the price. I like this location better than the one in Chino.

Yelp
BEWARE: We were eating at this establishment when we see a giant cockroach crawling in the wall. We got the attention of one of the waiters who was holding a hot grill and he smashed the roach with it. It smelled very nasty. After that we, we got up to leave when we saw another roach crawling up the wall. I honestly would not come back due not only the roaches but they have the sides they give you out on the table when you walk in with no covers. Who knows if the roaches crawled over the open food. Absolutely disgusting.

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Came at 10:00pm a whole hour before they closed just to tell us we could only order 4 meats and 4 sides for the whole entire table and after we said sure that's fine the girl walked away and could tell she wasn't happy we said sure that's fine and took forever to even sit us so we just decided to leave.
google avatar

Kyle B.

Yelp
Service is absolutely bad here. They don't know how to serve people. It seems like servers had issues when they're helping more than one table. No one checks up on you. Servers don't help out other sections/check in on guests. It's a mellow Tuesday afternoon, lunch time and they can't even change our grill. All the meat comes out frozen. Super hard to get the food off the plate. Honestly; this is our second time here. First time we thought it was just bad service due to being a weekend. It's just overall a bad restaurant and horrible service. We only got to order 1 round of meat and it's almost 1hr into our meal. Still haven't been able to get a server to help us. Grill is just getting darker and darker. Guess you can't expect much from a Korean bbq place out here in the San Bernardino County.
google avatar

Armando C.

Yelp
Food Pretty decent, service was a lil slow. Didn't get a refill on my water until all the way we were done eating. My recommendations are anything spicy here. Hit or miss on the service, been to other locations that are hit, this place was an unfortunate miss for us. Will be back again but hopefully not with the server we were with.
google avatar

Giovanna D.

Yelp
The food was mid at best, the prices were really good the service was okay but overall just liked how late it was open.

Yelp
Great service, great food Here's the but, they do not permit you to take home what you don't eat or leftovers. I hate wasting food! Not coming back

Yelp
Was around the Rancho area and decided to try U-Grill for dinner. Wait time was about 50 minutes and the front desk brought us to a table next to a couple of buckets to capture storm water from the ceiling. We got Menu A that has up to 26 options which was generous and the price was $27.99. One of the cheapest Korean BBQ's plus the variety of options. However, you get what you pay for because, the brisket was horrendous. Our party noted that, the brisket had a gassy aftertaste and we didn't even eat all of the brisket. I could tell it was old and stale brisket. I even felt sick after eating it. The other meats weren't even good but better than the gassy brisket. I'm surprised they're many good reviews about this place. Perhaps customers here never tried Korean BBQ in Korea-town Los Angeles/OC. Coming from Los Angeles, I lowered my expectations prior to coming here but I decided to give it a shot and I was surprised of how bad this place was. On the bright side, our server and front desk were nice. Our server was attentive and she seemed very busy handling other parties with more people which is totally understandable. Overall: I wouldn't recommend coming to U-Grill. Our first experience is our last. Meats were just old, stale, frozen and defrosted low-quality meats. Still feel sick consuming it. If you live near Rancho, maybe pick a different spot for Korean BBQ.

Yelp
Always enjoy eating here. Service was great fast and didn't miss any of our orders. Seating and spacing is plenty so good for small groups and or large groups. Foods is always tasty so I do recommend coming here.

Yelp
It was great service was fast sides were amazing Food tasted great. 4th time. coming here. if you have ADHD, don't come here there's a lot of stuff going but everything is great here love it would come even many more 8.5/10 God bless

Yelp
The hostess was rude when we got there, reservation was for 4, got there at 3:54, said I will seat you at 4. People who arrived after us were seated first. Super weird. The food was good. Service was good. The music is a little loud with its 90's music.
google avatar

Elizabeth S.

Yelp
It was my nephews birthday and celebrated here in U Grill . We reserved 13 people so glad we did there's a waitlist . The place is very modern even the music. Large TV screen good for sports enthusiasts. The menu was very decent . Got the Menu A which was their basic but overall it was enough selection. Loved their beef bulgogi, pork chop , pork belly , beef brisket. The condiments were a lot. Melted cheese corn, salad , Japan pickled vegetables , hot tofu soup , steamed egg Because we are a large group Eliza the attendant gave a good service. Sometime took longer to reorder but she was a trooper It's a very nice Korean bbq place to hang out and chill during this rainy day.

Yelp
Brian our server was great. Nice environment and price wasn't that bad considering we chose to have all the premium meats. Portion size was great and everything tasted good. They even have a happy hour with good selection!

So last time it was my birthday, me and my husband and my friend we came here for celebration. I love the bbq stuff, but what impressed me a lot is their pickled green chilli! It was really spicy but really tasty somehow, so I just keep eating and I have asked more of their pickles, they offered me more with smiley face, really appreciate. Nice music playlist, people just singing together after they are full. It gave me wonderful memories , and me keep expecting to come here again!

Yelp
My family and I visited U-grill today and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. Our grill turned off a total of 7 times, the quality of the food was fine but it took us forever to get through cooking anything due to the grill situation. We ordered two cokes which after 15 minutes didn't come so we had to remind the server. We were never offered a different table either. Our server then offered a discount for the inconvenience which he did not only did not apply to the bill but also charged us the children's lunch for our two year old who did not eat any meat. The children lunch is for children 5 and up. Overall it was a pretty disappointing experience.

Yelp
I knew when I read a review on Yelp that this spot had good music - that I would be miserable and I was right. Terrible music But everything else about this place rocks. Was a bit shocked at how long the wait was rolling up at 4pm on a Saturday but it was worth it. Staff was friendly and you get a lot of food for a fair price. Enjoyed everything I tried off the A menu expect the pork - far too fatty for me. Only thing I'd change is adding some NA Beers to the menu Also props to me for not undercooking anything
