U-Jay's Hot Chicken

How ya open for 6 hours and still closed for 2 days, but in reality you open late and you close early. The 4 times I there they were missing a couple of the ingredients. Your menu consist of 4 items, and you still manage to not be prepared. On top of that you guys come back with smaller portions in general. Portions were good for what they were selling before but now its just too overpriced. I went a week ago and wait time was around 45 minutes. Look at the difference between the NEW vs OLD. Smaller portions. Smaller box. and crinkle cut fries

This is the first halal Nashville hot chicken sandwich on wheels. The food was amazing. The spice level was on point and everything was so fresh. The sauce and seasoning were true to the Nashville experience. The brothers working inside the cart are really friendly. The food didn't take too long, we only had to wait 10 minutes for everything to be ready.

I do love the food up here. The chicken is spicy. The fries could be more crispy. But overall definitely recommended for anyone who wants spicy food. Negative: Working hours and days are horrible. It keeps changing and some days even though the maps listing says they should be open, they are not. I stopped going there because of how unreliable they are. I go down the street to Sams hot chicken. I call and give my order earlier so that I can just pick it up.

I’m a picky eater, and I do love food, but this was the most delicious chicken tenders, chicken burger and fries with the sauce I ever had.

The food is decent. I like chicken sandwich. Their sauce is good and the pickled onion compliments it well. The fries however are overcooked in oil which makes it brittle and hard. And sometimes it’s just soaked in oil which makes it soggy and limp. I came here when it first opened up and they were consistent on the time they open. Now they open whatever time it best suites them. Someday they don’t even show up. It’s an inconvenience waiting and then eventually figuring out they won’t come.

First of all let me start off by saying their food is amazing, the best Nashville fried chicken I’ve ever had. But their service and communication… absolutely horrible. Back this summer, they were gone for over a month and they kept pushing their reopening date by 1 or 2 days on their instagram page and they did this for weeks! Not only that, now that they have reopened, their instagram page says they are here Wednesdays to Sundays from 7PM to 12AM, but some days you go there, they’re not even there!! The problem is them not being there but the fact that they don’t notify or provide updates on their instagram page. It’s really frustrating since many of us travel from far or after a long day of work to enjoy this food but they let us down like this.

Best Nashville hot chicken around hands down! Tried a couple of other hot chicken spots but none come close to Ujay’s! Their seasoning/sauce is what sets them apart!
