I have made a new policy to make my words sweet considering how many times I have to eat them. Mmmm... sweet AND salty.
I've seen too many awesome live shows here to care about the seating anymore. Plus it leaves room to dance, not sit! And people do dance.
I don't know who's doing the sound the past few times I've been this year, but I'm doing a slow clap for you sir. Outstanding. And ultimately, when you're here for the music that's what matters. Well that and my prerequisite doubles served in a pint glass.
Most shows I've been to have a $10 door charge but you get that back with the $10 drink ticket. After that, have all the cost and time effective doubles you want.
There's food, and I've eaten it in the past, so I remember it being good, but for the sake of journalistic integrity, I'll update when I've mangiare'd there again.
There's a lively crowd on Saturdays. Not crowded and there may be some people in formal dinner wear tumbling in. So this makes for the after-party-party spot around Wall Street. They were fun. But that's mostly because of the band, The Jewbadours, purveyors of classic Yacht Rock. Think of Hall & Oats and Michael McDonald and you've got the idea. Such a great night.
Drinks, dinner, a show and dancing... that pretty much covers everything one needs for a good time, and here it is all in one spot.
