Best Korean Food in Dallas/Fort Worth DFW | Eater Dallas

"Pop in for a bowl of guksu (noodles) tossed in a fiery sauce or broth. The mandu (dumplings), filled with savory pork and kimchi, vegetable and sweet red bean, and more, is essential to the meal. It is also an excellent go-to for large bottles of kimchi to take home. The space is bare bones, here for service and amazing bites more than anything, but there are picture menus all over the walls to help non Korean speakers." - Courtney E. Smith

Best Cold Noodle Dishes Around Dallas | Eater Dallas

"This spot’s menu features three kinds of traditional cold noodle dishes: the iced-broth mul-nangmyeon and kongguksu or the broth on the side, spicy bibim-nangmyeon. Don’t forget to take home a giant bottle of their kimchi on your way out." - Didi Paterno

Absolutely no frill and a self- service spot, with absolutely delicious handmade noodles and dumplings! The noodles were delicious, there was a nice chewiness and bounce to them, I was tempted to get more! The portions were more than generous tho so I was very full. We tried the chicken noodle soup - broth was homey like it was hugging me on a cold day , it was so comforting. We also got the savory sesame noodle soup and I’ve never had any thing quite like it! If you like sesame flavor - this was pretty tasty. Wish they had protein options to add to the soups that didn’t have meat tho. We tried the seafood and kimchi dumplings and they were great - dumpling skin to filling were proportionate.

January 2025 Comfort Korean noodle soup for a cool night. Not much meat but warm broth was flavorful. Kimchi was pretty spicy compared to others. However, home made noodle soup has a large portion. We revisit this restaurant often.

Google
A very quaint, no frills noodles restaurant! My husband and I were wanting something comforting for dinner and stumbled upon this place. You do order at the counter, where you will be handed a numbered buzzer. Once it buzzes, you can pick up your food at the counter. Cutlery, water, and all other seasoning items are off to the side and it is self-serve. We ordered the handmade noodles in chicken broth, handmade noodles with dumplings, and a side of steamed pork dumplings. All of it was warming and delicious. It is definitely slurping noodles! I like how the noodles were chewy and a bit bouncy. The pork dumplings were flavorful and decently sized as well. I do love the kimchi here and it’s refreshing eating it with the warm noodles and broth. I believe you can also purchase a jar of your liking of their kimchi. It does get busy around dinner when we went so plan accordingly. I also think this is better at the restaurant than to have it as take-out. Overall, it’s a must-try and we will definitely be back to try the other noodle options!

When I want a bowl of hot noodle soup in Dallas, this is the first place I think of! Their noodles are handmade, so they taste really good. Dumplings and steamed buns are also good. They also have free side dishes of spicy kimchi and yellow radish. Plus there’s free rice!

Google
I came into this shop looking for cold buckwheat noodles and boy did they deliver. Very tasty and reasonably priced. Come with an empty stomach because the portions are large. It’s self serve. Get you some shears because you will need to clip the noodles. The kimchi is in house made and very good. Dumplings are homemade and taste very good.

If you are craving a cozy soup noodle that warms you up from the inside, this is the place for you. They serve one of the most heartwarming kalguksu ever. Aside from the place being a bit run down and dirty, this place is a diamond in the rough. Would come again.

Google
First time here and was really great. Order at the counter and they’ll call your name when it’s ready. Loved the handmade noodles in chicken broth, kimchi dumplings and large pork buns (the soy dipping sauce with chilis was really good with the dumplings/buns )

Google
Best Hand cut noodles in Dallas. Nothing fancy here just great Kal Guk Su. They also have the best kimchi.

Yelp
THE BIG: Located in Carrollton and I'd say a hole in the wall vibe. Very condensed menu which means they specialize. Parking is available in the lots. THE BLACK AND WHITE: The wife and I were hungry and passing through Carrollton when driving back from OKC. Fortunately Arirang was open and we stopped in for dinner. Place is small but cozy. We got the kimchi noodle soup and the sesame noodle. The sesame noodle was delicious! It seemed like they blendered sesame seeds and added it to a chicken broth. Noodles were potato-esque. For an app, we shared pork dumplings. Tl;dr, they were alright. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall the damage done for three dishes was around $40. The soups were big which could feed two people. Would recommend and will be back next time we're in Carrollton

Yelp
My friend brought me to this spot and I wish there was something like this back home. You walk in and there's just an aunty at the counter who's impatient when you ask questions about the menu haha. But it's not about the service, the kalguksu is worth it! Chicken kalguksu - the broth was so rich! The chicken was a little dry but eaten with kimchi and pickled radish gives it flavorful and texture. The noodles were on the denser side but still good.

Yelp
Not crazy about the food here but I love their kimchi. I'd just come to grab a jar of kimchi to go. If you want the best kimchi in town, this place is it. Made fresh daily. Yum!
google avatar

Yelp
Second time here and it did not disappoint. My fave is the sesame sujebi. Get this and the kimchee noodles and it's the perfect combo of spicy and nutty. I also liked the kimchee mandoo, but it's pretty spicy. This may become my go to stop when in Dallas.

Yelp
FOOD handmade Noodles Soup with Kimchi - I came here post sickness so was craving some soup. The kimchi stew isn't super spicy which was good. The noodles were very soft and chewy which made it taste super good. I will say that they do give pretty large portion sizes so it would be good to split with someone if you do not eat that much. Overall the flavor was pretty alright. I will say I got flavor fatigued over time and it started to taste bland but that's just because I was probably eating a lot of it (lol!). They also give kimchi and pickled radish on the side. The kimchi was really good. It wasn't super fermented or sour which is how I like it and there were lots of leaf from the vegetable (which is my favorite part). The pickled radish was also pretty yummy as well. VIBES I came with my friend during the weekday at around noon for lunch. There were lots of people coming in from working places nearby. There is wooden tables with metal chairs and the place does hold quite a few people. It gives very traditional home vibes in that the atmosphere is very cozy and everything is simplistic. Great for a casual lunch or family dinner! SERVICE Service was pretty average. Food came out quickly and not too much interaction with staff other than ordering food. Food comes in sizable portions for a good price! Everyone was nice though!

Yelp
I didn't realize it was a "self serve". Once food is ready, you bring it to your table & grab your own utensils, etc. once you're done, you must return everything to the front. My friend wanted to come here while us gals spend the weekend back in TX. The amount of food you get for the cost is worth it. There's a lot of food! Unfortunately, I've realized as I get older, my tolerance for spice has diminished. I was unable to finish the Kim chi noodle based soup. They also make their own Kim chi! I'm going back to get a jar before I head back home!

Yelp
Found this gem in Carrollton for authentic Korean noodle soup! The menu is straight forward, they offer a few selection but everything was so good. We ordered the dough soup, hand pulled noodle soup, miso sauce noodles and dumplings. The dough soup really stood out! It was chewy and the broth was so flavorful. The miso sauce was fantastic, slightly spicy but delicious. I loved the dumplings too, super stuffed with fillings. Beware the portions are really big, especially with all the soup. We absolutely will be back to get our fix soon!

Yelp
This place is SUCH a special, authentic place The kimchi is the best I've had, as someone who doesn't even like kimchi that much other than in dumplings and fried rice! Best kalguksu in Dallas for sure. The sesame broth is the best one to get! It's super unique and hard to find any where else. Also enjoy the eggplant noodles- pretty spicy!!! The food is comforting and the prices are fair for the portions. Anytime I'm feeling something clean and heartwarming I come here. If you haven't tried to, do yourself a favor. Or don't, I almost don't want to talk about this place and want to keep it hidden from everyone.

Yelp
Amazing food that you shouldn't miss. The portions are huge and food is delicious and service is friendly. We came here with a couple of friends and they were also blown away. The kimchi tastes great, so great that I bought some to go and they sell different types of kimchi. The decor outside doesn't compare to the ambiance inside. The place feels very cozy, and makes you feel like you are transported to a small restaurant in Korea. It is now, one of my go to places. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Cashier was so sweet, portions were massive, and prices were fair. Pork dumplings were pretty good and their cold noodle dishes are good as well.

Yelp
What a cute little store that offers hearty soup that's perfect for cold winter nights. We came here on a Sunday night at 5pm and only two other tables were occupied. Everything here is self service including putting aways your dishes after your meal. I have seen the staff running after a group of customers who left their table without putting their plates away. And pointing out on the big sign to all customers that they have to put all their dishes away. Their menu is quite simple. They have a great selection of different Korean noodles soups. Their specialities are also Mandu (the Korean version of gyoza). They offer two flavors which is beef or kimchi. I ordered them both just to try and we really liked them a lot. The filling was seasoned well and they are great appetizers. I ordered their chicken kalkgooksoo and it was so good. The broth was flavorful, deep and refreshing and the noodles were chewy and cooked perfectly. Even though the inside seems small when you enter. It can easily accommodate larger groups by just putting some tables together. After our dinner when we left it got quite busy. Just fyi they close at 8pm. So come early if you want to eat some yummy noodle soups! 5 stars all the way!

Yelp
Still amazing. Great quality, some of the best kimchi I've had (they sell it in bulk portions!), and oh-so satisfying every single time. It's plenty of food, bring your appetite! I'm happy to see the place survived COVID and is alive and better than before! Clean dining area, tasty, and a regular staple. Well worth the drive from (anywhere) Flower Mound!

Yelp
This is my favorite restaurant in Dallas. I discovered it in 2022 and I've been consistently going every week. The food is very worth for the price. I recommend getting the mul mandu dumplings and the dough pieces noodle soup. The food comes out very fast and is super filling.

Yelp
Small restaurant serves authentic handmade Korean noodles. Portion is pretty big, and tastes pretty good too. Their kimchi is also delicious! Reminded me of my trip to Seoul!

Yelp
I bring everyone to this place. I get a full and hearty meal every visit. Great for cold (and hot) weather, great for hangovers, great in general. I also come here to buy kimchi to bring home. They have the best kimchi. Well seasoned, not too acidic/sour, spicy. The service is simple. Everything is self service. The place is always bustling around lunch time, especially on weekends. This is one of my favorite places.

Yelp
This restaurant is also listed on Google as "Um Ma Son" (Arirang Korean Kitchen) if you're looking for it there! It's a pretty small place with a few tables so make sure you try to get there before rush hour. The menu is pretty straightforward and their main thing kalguksu (Korean wheat flour noodles--similar to udon). They also specialize in dumplings! We ordered the kimchi kalguksu, chicken kalguksu and the sesame kalguksu with water dumplings and the big buns. The portions are very generous and seasoned very well! Be warned that their kimchi is super spicy (even by Korean standards!) Water is self-served and you bus your own tables. Definitely authentic Korean food and don't overlook it because the decor and outside don't look as impressive as other places!

Yelp
Best kimchi I have EVER had. Incredible. Just fermented enough, kind of has a sweetness to it, honestly indescribable. Every bite was delicious. This place also has huge portions for cheap. You really can't go wrong with anything. The kimchi dumplings are large and flavorful. The vegetable dumplings are large and fluffy. THE NOODLES though are the real winner. Super soft to chew and hearty. The kimchi noodles are spicy but so warm in my stomach. The spicy eggplant was DELICIOUS, very flavorful and delicious. Would definitely recommend!
google avatar

Minly L.

Yelp
Arirang is super tasty and filling. In my opinion the portions were huge and it really is worth the price. My friend and I ordered Spicy Eggplant Noodles and the Kimchi noodles. I definitely recommend sharing. Special shout out to the kimchi! So GOOD! I bought a jar to take home.

Yelp
Suuuuuch delicious kalguksu with a cozy and homemade feel. 4.5 stars for me but I'll round up! Even on a hot summer day, the flavorful hot broth will warm your heart! My friends and I ordered the chicken kalguksu, naengmyeon, kimchi dumplings, and pork dumplings! By far the kalguksu was my favorite, but the naengmyeon was soooo good too. I can't handle much spice but the cold noodles had a good kick for me and wasn't too spicy. Soft and chewy noodles that were refreshing and a little sweet! The kimchi dumplings were too spicy for me. For both types of dumplings, they fell apart when biting them - I like dumplings that still hold their shape after so maybe the skin was slightly too thin for my taste. Their kimchi was super fresh, but too spicy for me as well. I won't deter a star for that though because I know the spice lovers will enjoy it. Highly recommend their noodles! You know its legit when there are a lot of Korean aunties and uncles eating here. Remember to order at the counter! Utensils, sauces, and rice are self serve in the upper left corner of the restaurant.

Yelp
My favorite noodle place for yearssss now! Its a fairly small restaurant with 10-12 different type of noodles which Koreans know it as kalgoosoo. I normally get the same noodle every time which is the sesame broth noodle! Not only is it good but the portion is sooo nice! Another thing I always get are the dumplings! Their meat and vegetable dumplings are my favorite!! Their signature is probably the complimentary kimchi which has a good spicy kick to it. I absolutely love it so much that they sell it in small & large bottles, I bought a bottle! If you are looking for a fairly reasonable priced, portioned, tasty Korean noodles, I highly recommend you visit here!
google avatar

Abhishek L.

Yelp
As someone who eats Korean food pretty often, the food here was absolutely delicious. The homemade kimchi was very tasty, and the kimchi dumplings were probably my favorite I've ever had. The broth for the sesame noodles was also really good, I nearly ordered another just to go. Care that the kimchi can be a bit spicy.

Yelp
I think in terms of flavor, this place was very good. But there are quite a few drawbacks that kept this from being a stellar experience. We came here as a group of four on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered the vegetable handmade dumplings, the pork large dumplings (wang mandu), the spicy eggplant sauce noodles, the mandu kalguksu, the haemul soogaebi (hand pulled dough soup), and the ganchiguksu (thin noodles in anchovy broth). Pros: - Good flavor of soups - Really good flavor in their handmade vegetable dumplings - Big portions Cons: - Really heavy on the portion of noodles - Very little dumpling filling (especially the pork "wang mandu" big dumplings). They were huge, but it was all mostly the exterior carb portion of the dumpling - Rather pricey in that aspect since it was so much of just the carb portion of the entrees. For example, in the haemul soogaebi (dough soup), it cost $17, came in a HUGE bowl with a TON of dough pieces, but literally only had 3 shrimps, 4 mussels, and 4 clams in the ENTIRE bowl. The rest was ALL dough. Or even the anchovy soup, which was my own, had SO much noodles (which were good) and so little of the egg and zucchini topping. - We also waited a pretty lengthy amount of time for our meal. About 30 minutes for the first entree (which was one of the dumplings), which isn't the worst in the world, but also not short. It took even longer for everything else to come out. Other notes: - The kimchi is very good but spicier than usual kimchi! - The eggplant sauce is good but spicy too! It comes separately though, so you can control the level of spice and flavor to a certain extent. Overall, if you're looking for some warm, flavorful soup on a cold day - this is a good place to go! Especially if you're in the Hmart area. But there are definitely some areas they could improve on significantly in order to become a stellar, "must go" place.

Thuy ..

Yelp
Best kimchi I've had in a very long time. It reminds me of the ones I had several years ago but the lady closed her shop. I'm so glad I found this place.
google avatar

Catherine C.

Yelp
Kimchi dumplings, pork dumplings, and spicy eggplant noodles. As a warning, the noodles were way spicier than I expected, and I thought I had a high spice tolerance. Granted I mixed all the spicy eggplant and sauce in because I thought we were supposed to, but maybe I should've added it more gradually. It was nice that the noodles came with a small bowl of chicken broth. And the dumplings were solid! Second visit - the noodles with anchovy soup (always worth it to try the #1 on the menu) were great. Would recommend. Huge portions and comes with kimchi and radish on the side.
google avatar

Lam B.

Yelp
I wasted a fan of the food here. Kimchi Dumplings were the best flavor wise. Pork Dumplings were bland. Steamed Dumplings were too doughy and didn't contain much substance. No protein offerings on the noodles except chicken and there was barely any given. Seaweed noodles were slimey (expected) and lacking flavor.
google avatar

Megan N.

Yelp
Loved their soups and noodles. The flavor was delicious and amazing. Food all came out hot and fresh. One order was more than filling. Shared with my sister and mother and they loved the place. Service was fast. Also, they sell banchan in bulk. Love their kimchi. Definitely worth trying out!
google avatar

Diana C.

Yelp
The noodles are delicious here! So fresh and chewy. If only they had more noodle options with meat in it. But you can always order some dumplings on the side!
google avatar

Laura P.

Yelp
Delicious Authentic handmade Korean food at the H Mart Plaza, our favorites place for sesame soup with handmade noodles. The menu here is in the wall, in Hangul and English, with detailed descriptions and pictures, so ordering is easy. Order by number at the counter, get your drinks from the cooler nearby and wait for your order number to be called. House made Kim chi and daikon pickles come on the side at night additional charge, and can be refilled. Dining room is clean and basic, and you bus your own table to a dish rack, as is customary in many of the restaurants here. When you come try the homamde rice noodles in the sesame broth. It's a very mild, comforting dish with little slices of jalapeño and other vegetables in the soup to wake up your tastebuds a little! The noodles are so delicious - a completely different and more tender texture and mouthfeel than dried noodles. 5 Homemade Handmade Korean stars

Yelp
This is one of my go to places for comfort food! Warm soup, hand pulled noodles, big steamy buns, fresh kimchi, I have always left full and happy and with left overs. In comparison to the review from Sarah Song, I think she missed how amazing the noodles and broth alone are. I think extra veggies or seafood are great but I think there was a good balance, allowing the focus to stay on the chewy noodles and rich soup. Kimchi and eggplant sauce were spicy and the most best way! I couldn't get enough of it. We did wait awhile for the food but the place was packed Sunday afternoon! I felt lucky to have gotten a table right away

Yelp
This place has been around for 5 years and I just now giving them a try for the food??? Don't be me and make the same mistake, come here ASAP! If you haven't been able to tell, I've been on a soup streak lately lol. If you have guessed it, yes, Asians Grub in DFWDub has let me here. Most people on the group have only talked about how amazing the kimchi here is, which was the main reason I came, and it is indeed amazing! It has a nice kick, well fermented but not overwhelming, great flavor. The price is excellent too. $12 for a good size jar, and I believe $20 for the giant one lol After seeing all the rave reviews on Yelp, I've been wanting to come back to try their food. One of my friends (who's not on Yelp lol) beat me to it. She couldn't wait to call and give me a "report" afterward, or more like a warning lol. She did not like the soup at all due to it doesn't come with any meat and not a lot of seasoning or salty enough. I took her warning with a grain of salt, knowing that she prefers the more savory soups. Took myself here on a date, ordered a #2-Chicken noodle soup and #11 Kimchi dumplings. It's a self-serve restaurant. You place the order at the counter and receive a little pager for when your food is ready, so you can come back to bring it to your table. I didn't pay attention to the menu board at first, and was surprised to see the total was around $12 for everything!! Good thing I didn't go crazy with my usual eyes-bigger-than-stomach ordering, cuz I could barely finish the soup. The portion was humongous and more than enough for 2 people. There's also self-serve rice next to the fridge. You wouldn't need it at all unless you're sharing the soup with someone else. Last but not least, make sure you bring your tray back to the cart by the counter after you're done. They make the noodle in-house, and I love how perfectly soft and chewy the noodle is. The soup is light and hearty, but not fatty at all. It was so good that I really wanted to finish the whole thing, but my pants and my stomach were definitely raising the white flag. I loved the soup so much I ordered the same soup to go so the hubby could try it out. Definitely can't wait to come back here again, next time with the hubby so we can split the soup and try the other dumplings too lol.

Yelp
What a cute little Korean restaurant! They are a bit tucked away, but every bit worth finding! We came on a chillier day, so the soups were perfect for warming us up. The portions are also huge! You definitely won't be hungry coming here. The savory noodle soup and dumpling noodle soup were amazing -- great flavors and reasonably priced. The sides were good too, but beware of the kimchee if you have a low spice tolerance. The pickled daikon worked great to help cut through some of the richness of my savory soup. Overall, definitely recommend swinging by and giving this place a chance. You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Janie K.

Yelp
I very much enjoyed the Mandu Kalguksu on this chilly day! Add some kimchi and the soup is complete! I also highly recommend the kimchi mandu. Everything tastes so fresh and homemade. Ps. They also sell their own kimchi! I like it better than the ones at hmart. The spice kick is better.
google avatar

Wayne N.

Yelp
I love hand pulled noodles and Arirrang does great noodle soup. If you're feeling under the weather, the chicken kookso is a homey comfort dish that will cure you right up. The noodles have good chew, the broth is simple, yet flavorful, enough chicken to help you remember this is chicken noodle soup and some pickles to cleanse the palate. They also give plenty if you take to go too. What would get 5 stars alone though is the kimchi. This is by far and away the best kimchi I've had anywhere, which might undersell their awesome soup and noodles but gotta give the praise where it's due. If all I had was rice and this kimchi, I would be extremely happy. And this is coming from someone who actually is not a fan of eating kimchi generally speaking, so this is really saying something. Food takes a really long time to get out though because it's super busy though, so take note of that.

Kaitlyn T.

Yelp
I ordered a cold noodle and spicy eggplant noodle. Both were delicious, and great value. I would definitely recommend the eggplant noodles. They are a bit spicy, but the bite of the noodle is fantastic. The kimchi and dumplings at Arirang are also a must. The service is good and there is plenty of indoor seating.
google avatar

Sara C.

Yelp
Ummm do they not know how much salt they put in? I'm sorry for a rude review but the people need to know! First off, my sis had to put 3 cups of water in her soup bc it was so dang salty. like imagine... Second, they don't even use the real kkal gook soo noodle they use udon noodles Third, I know someone who works at Hmart and they buy PRE MADE BROTH at HMART! scam alert. even for naengmyun its pre made broth Fourth, they buy frozen PRE MADE DUMPLINGS at hmart and serve it to you. sorry but definitely definitely NOT. COMING. BACK!
google avatar

Jonathan W.

Yelp
Was looking for a small bite to eat, so I came here to try their steamed pork buns. Just amazing, I wasn't expecting it to be so good. The bun itself was so soft and steamy, and the pork inside was so juicy. The balance between pork and bun was just perfect too. If you order this dish, just keep in mind it's not a small amount of food. They give you 3 pretty good sized buns, and it's really filling. What's amazing is they also give you complementary sides of kimchi and pickled radish too. They were the perfect combination to go with the savory buns. I know they're more known for their noodles, so I'll definitely be back to try those out.
google avatar

Julia J.

Yelp
Really loved the sujaebi soup that had a full flavor and it tasted like they really cooked with enchovy broth down! The noodle texture is perfect with right amount of chewiness. My husband enjoyed the spicy nengmyun. The self serve is nice where it has all the utensils and togo packages. The lady that took the order is very sweet and nice. We are definitely coming back and I highly recommend!

Carol S.

Yelp
We went there as a group and instead of seating us first the group that came after us got seated first. I don't know if she was the owner or just a worker, but she kept on screaming at the workers and screaming at the customers. The place wasn't even that clean either and she didn't even clean our table before seating us. The bathrooms were a nightmare too the doors were almost falling off the walls and it wasn't clean at all. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
Huge bowls of hot, steamy soup and bottomless kimchi await you here. I've been here many times and every time the food was fresh, hot, and tasty. I ordered the handmade noodles in anchovy broth, the pork dumplings, the handmade dumplings, and the handmade noodles in chicken broth. The noodles are thick like udon noodles, the broth in most of the soup varieties is thin like Pho, but with a totally different flavor. Each dish is served with Kimchi and danmuji (Korean pickled radish). I have yet to be disappointed by a dish. Just writing this review is making me want a bowl of soup...focus..focus. Ok, one word of caution the kimchi here is super spicy, I love spicy, but be careful if you are used to milder versions! The service is pretty good, the woman working the register has always been pleasant. You place your order with her, she gives you a buzzer and you find a table and redeem your food when your buzzer goes off so it's pretty straight forward. The only exception is when certain dishes like dumplings take longer, she will deliver them to the table when ready. There is a self-serve station for water, rice, and sauces close by the register. Chopsticks and spoons are on each table. When you are done eating, you turn in your tray. The dining area is a bit small, giving it a cozy feel. If you go during the winter months I advise you to sit closer to the left front part of the dining room as it can get a bit drafty every time the door is opened, which is often bc everyone else is craving a large bowl of steamy hot soup too. This is my go to place for a delicious bowl of Korean soup and dumplings! Enjoy!

I love this place! Love their noodle. Texture is perfect! Their soup is kinda bland but their chili paste n sauce make it perfect. Place is small n clean. Their kimchi is the best in town. I buy the big jar for my home consumption. My go to place when I crave for noodle soup.

Yelp
Been wanting to try out some authentic hand pull Korean noodles and this places has it! It's not very noticeable in the area but it's definitely a hole in a wall! - Food: I ordered the kimchi hand pull noodles and the kimchi dumplings, now I must say the Complementary sauce on the table is kinda spicy but goes well with the dumplings and soup. But, the kimchi is quite big and delicious, it was also juicy! The noodles texture was perfect and their soup is very very aromatic, it's like eating soup on a cold day(Tho it was 100 degrees outside) but still, you can always enjoy a hot bowl in a cold restaurant right? *Overall: Will totally come back and try out more different noodles.

Yelp
This is a great small restaurant for some authentic korean food. The handmade noodle dishes really felt like comfort food and took me back to Korea for a second. I got the handmade noodles with dumplings, and I really enjoyed it! The broth was slightly underwhelming, but the noodles and other fillings made up for it. The dumplings were also very decent as well. It comes with side dishes and some rice if you dine in. I had some trouble finding it, as the restaurant's name is in korean, but google maps helped get me there. It's right next to the foot store if you have trouble! There's an abundance of parking, and I love this area for grabbing a bite and getting some grocery shopping done right after!

Yelp
Dumplings for days! Fresh made, hand made, home made! Incredibly delicious! Very inexpensive! Love the kimchi accompaniment and the pickled yellow veg. Delicious! I will most certainly be back to try other items. I had my eye on the noodle bowls, be back soon! Yummy!

Yelp
Definitely one of my new go to Korean restaurants!! We ordered takeout via phone - which was a really easy and smooth process - and had our food 15 minutes later. I was a little concerned about takeout, because we got a soup, but it was all packaged really securely inside a cardboard box. We ordered the items below and took it to nearby park (Harold K Bessire park), which had a few picnic tables and a cute playground. It was a great way to spend an afternoon, and all the food was still piping hot and delicious! As with most Korean restaurants, it also came with sides - pickled radish and kimchi. The noodles and dumplings were handmade, and the portions were huge. Our order was more than enough for our hungry group of 3. #11 Kimchi dumpling #13 Mul Mandu #7 Miso sauce noodles #4 Handmade noodles with dumplings

Yelp
This restaurant hands down has the best Korean noodles and dumplings. The broth is so rich and the dumplings are full of flavor. Their kimchi is actually my favorite, and the best I've ever had.

Yelp
I drove from Arlington to enjoy dinner at Arirang. It was the first cold snap of the year and I was in need of warm noodle soup. You order at the cashier at the back of the restaurant. The lady was very friendly and took our order and gave us a few suggestions. The place is fairly small and during this time there were only 3 patrons dining around 5pm. By the time we left the place was packed. I ordered the chicken noodle soup with hand pulled noodles and my husband ordered a miso noodle dish with broth on the side and dumplings. Dinner came with kimchi but it was too spicy for my tastes. Other diners said it is the best in the area and I believe them but way too spicy for me. People were coming in buying the kimchi by the tub full so it had to be awesome to most. Overall I found the soup to be very bland. I even added kimchi and I didn't enjoy it like I thought I would. My husband said his dish was really good. Apparently Arirang is a big deal in the area because people were waiting outside to get in. So read my review but head there because the overall ratings and the packed restaurant tell the best story.

Yelp
This is a very basic home made noodles and buns restaurant. Walk up order and when your number is call, pick up your meal. If you are a noodle person, this is a definite must try for you. This restaurant has been operating for awhile and has build up loyal customers. Great food. Do not go for service or atmosphere. People are friendly and the price is very reasonable. They close pretty early, make sure you arrive early for dinner.

Yelp
Warning: this place REQUIRES you to CLEAR your table. Finding this place was hard because their sign is in Korean. From Old Denton Rd, it's hard to see where this place is. After you get closer, yes you can see a small "Arirang" sign in English on the door (above the door, the big sign is just in Korean). Everything in here is in Korean. The Menu does have English description on it, so I am grateful for that. This place is self-serve. I kinda figured it out by seeing a rice cooker, utensils, water cooler that's open to everyone. All signs on the walls are in Korean, Don't know what they mean/say. We got our water, chopsticks, rice and what not. Ordered hand-made noodle with chicken, another one with dumpling, and a 5-piece pork dumplings. The food itself were very fresh and healthy (read: a little bland). They skimped on spices/seasonings. The dumpling hardly had any taste to it; I had to add soy sauce/jalapeno mix to make it better suited to my palate. The noodles resembled Udon. My younger kid asked me, "Is this udon?" Portion was fair, it came with some julienne veggies. I'd rate the food 3/5. The problem was when we finished eating and wanted to exit. We were among the first customers there, and the one or two who left before us, I didn't really pay attention to them. Not knowing this place expected us to clear our tables, we just left. The cashier, yelled at us, "Excuse me!!" At this time, the place was packed. Folks were looking at us. I can't really blame her for our embarrassment, but I really regretted that this place didn't make it clear and post signs, "Please return our bowls/tray" in English whatever it is. There are many Asian fast-casual restaurants where we have to get our own water, condiments, utensils, but they don't expect us to clear our table. Example: Burning Rice, Secret Recipe, What the Pho, and many more. Ahjumma Kim Bop restaurant in the same retail complex, they post a sign, "Please return your tray". Not just one, each table has that sign. So Arirang, please do ourselves a favor and start posting such a sign if you expect customers to clear our tables. This is just common sense. In the USA, please don't expect everyone to read Korean.

Yelp
Back in Metro Dallas. Having dinner here. My first time in this Korean hand cut noodle restaurant. Young adults hangout, students maybe. Trying their hand cut noodles in chicken broth. Handmade pork dumpling and large steamed pork dumpling. The noodles are freshly hand cut and poured in the broth. It's hot and delicious. They have several type of broths. Miso, Chicken and Veggie broth. Their Korean dumplings are out of this world! Tasty and delicious. This place is like a hole on the wall type of Korean food place. Not pricey. Moderate size serving. Separate Men and Women's bathroom. No change table, need an upgrade. I recommend this place for you. Next time you visit Carrolton, TX. Drop by and try their food and dumplings.
