Seattle Restaurant and Bar Openings to Know for November 2025 | Eater Seattle

"In the big Pine and Summit space that once housed Mezcaleria Oaxaca, this Italian-American newcomer is led by Michael Crossley of the legendary Vito’s, joining a building that already had a rooftop bar and a takeout smash-burger window under Travis Rosenthal’s Pike Street Hospitality Group." - Harry Cheadle

Uncle Dom's Italian Kitchen - Review - Capitol Hill - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This Capitol Hill spot says it’s “bringing back Seattle’sItalianred sauce tradition.” We’re not totally sure if that “tradition” ever really existed here in great quantities, but the chef (who used to cook at the old Vito’s) certainly makes a strong case. Expect classics like veal parmesan, linguine vongole, and tiramisu." - Kayla Sager-Riley

If you discovered this place from Seattle Restaurant Week, $35 for three dishes is a steal. Hurry before it ends and the Instagram crowd catches on! I honestly considered gatekeeping this place… Star of the Night: El Diablo — a decadent dessert you haven’t tried in Seattle and won’t forget. Checked out this Italian bar after finding it on the SRW site. Expectations were low, but we were so pleasantly surprised. Two hosts greeted us immediately, and our server was personable, attentive, and warm. I waved down a lady for a fork, and she practically sprinted to grab it — ASAP delivery! We scored the best seats by the window with a full view of the chef’s counter. Watching the flames and the street outside made the evening feel special. Service was perfectly paced, genuine, and unhurried. I joked about needing to “sit” after scraping my plates clean, and our server laughed with me. Little things like that truly make you feel seen. 10/10 service! Let me preface the ratings: some dishes aren’t my personal favorites, but that’s about taste, not quality. For example the Toasted Garlic Bread, I prefer it soft and pillowy, but this crisp version and is exactly what the menu promises. Perfect if that’s your jam. HIGHLIGHTS Eggplant Parmesan (10/10) — vegetarian heaven. Crispy, layered perfection. Hot, perfect portion. I told myself to take it to go, but devoured it all. Lasagna (9/10) — tart, flavorful sauce that’s clearly been simmering all day. Almost asked for a spoon to scrape the last bit. El Diablo (10/10) — chocolate mousse over toasted meringue with nuts, tequila caramel, and just a hint of cayenne. I’d order one for myself and one “for the table.” Not sponsored or comped, just sharing because this place genuinely deserves the love. I really love this spot, I cannot wait to come here again

On Saturday as I was walking home from an event, it started POURING and I didn't bring my raincoat. I passed up Donna's down the road since they were packed - figured I could just grab a slice from hot mama's. On my way, I walked passed Uncle Dom's and saw a few folks dining (but what I really noticed were the lampshades hanging above the bar). I hadn't seen or heard of the spot before, but I'm fairly new to the neighborhood, so figured it just slipped by. Come to find out they had only been open since Wednesday! I got my food to go since I was simply drenched by the rain. Ordered the Eggplant Parmesan with a side of Aglio e Olio and a cava while I waited. The staff were lovely and the space is gorgeous. The food traveled alright - I don't think they're especially set up for take-out right now (maybe look into the metal to-go containers in the future if possible?) but I would have eaten there under dryer circumstances. Plus, they have spumoni, which I'll need to order when I next dine in. The Eggplant Parmesan was especially flavorful and that red sauce was phenomenal. I'm looking forward to eating here again! Next time, I'm fairly sure there will be a wait since the secret will be out.

Everything was so so good. We had the penne a la vodka, chicken parm, chop salad, Italian martini and not pictured but the bruschetta. Taylor was great as well and we think that the prices were normal for Seattle so def worth it!

Google
The food was tasty — exactly what you hope for ordering a chicken parm, and the side of pasta aglio e olio was surprisingly delicious. They’re doing the classics justice here. But man, $30 for chicken parm with pasta is kind of brutal! And the eggplant parm only being $1 cheaper. We live on the block and it would be so nice for this to be a go-to rainy night spot, but garlic bread, two mains, one glass of wine, and one rainier coming out to $100 after the service charge + fees……to me there’s a slight mismatch between the no frills classic vibe of the food and the price

Google
Cute place, great food! Service was lovely and warm. We missed having a spot with Italian food like this in the neighborhood! Very fair pricing, dinner for two (app, two mains, one N/A beverage) under $100 is hard to come by these days. Will definitely be back!

10/10! So happy we have this amazing new spot in our neighborhood. Fun cozy ambiance, DELICIOUS traditional Italian food, excellent customer service.

Uncle Dom’s (and bar tango) is one of my three favorite restaurants in Seattle. The food and drinks are delicious. The staff is great and we loved meeting the manager Leanne. I hope to eat here weekly 😋

Thank you for a wonderful evening! My parents and I came for Seattle restaurant week. Everything was so, so good and our server was very attentive and thoughtful. We’re so happy we came out! All three of us loved every single bite of our affordable three-course meal, and the staff was happy to make some minor adjustments for my dietary restrictions such as nut allergies and vegetarian options. (Two of the three available dessert options contained nuts on the prix fixe menu, but leaving them off of the cayenne chocolate mousse was no issue - I’m so glad I had a chance to try it, because it was spectacular!)

Yelp
I honestly considered gatekeeping this place... Star of the Night: El Diablo. A decadent dessert you haven't tried in Seattle and will not forget how good it is. Came here on a Tuesday around 8 PM during SRW and wasn't expecting much with only one Yelp review and being listed as a bar. But we were beyond surprised. Two hosts greeted us and got us seated immediately. Our server was personable and attentive, and when I waved down a lady for a fork, she practically sprinted to get it with full enthusiasm, ASAP delivery. We scored the best seats by the window to people watch and getting a completely unobstructed view of the chef's counter. Seeing the kitchen in action made the meal feel alive, and made everything more exciting. SERVICE Our waiter was personable, and extremely attentive yet unhurried. She overheard my joke about needing to just "sit" for a moment once I was done scraping my plates clean, and it genuinely made me feel seen. As a customer dining in I really value feeling like my presence is wanted, not just another table being rushed in and out. STARTERS 6.5/10 Toasted Garlic Bread Im not a hater I just prefer my garlic bread to be more pillowy and soft. This one is crisp and offers a generous grating of Parmesan, and a side of that delicious marinara perfect for dunking. 7.5/10 Bruschetta alla Pomodoro Bread was the slightest bit buttery but I personally live for the juxtaposition between a golden crunch and a mountain of perfectly diced, ultra-fresh tomatoes. Drizzled with balsamic glaze and over a bed of lightly seasoned peppery arugula. Light yet satisfying, and got my palette ready for the mains. MAINS 9.5/10 Eggplant Parmesan Absolutely phenomenal with every bite. I love that the breaded eggplant stays crisp all the way through, which is rare yet so essential. The layers are beautifully defined, holding their shape as you cut into them. It's the perfect portion. I really should have taken half of it to go... but I devoured the whole thing on the spot. 9/10 Lasagna Solid rendition. Sauce is tart and flavorful. They mentioned it has been marinating for the entire day and it had me almost asking for a spoon just to scrape up the last bit at the bottom. Comes hot and in a generous portion, perfect if you're hungry and ready to dive in. DESERT 6/10 Tiramisu A delicate, airy dream. Mascarpone takes center stage giving each bite a creamy lift. The coffee flavor whispers rather than hits, but the soft rum note brings it all together beautifully. Not a showstopper for me but it's balanced and elegant and executed beautifully. 10/10 El Diablo Without a doubt the best dessert I've had this year. Fluffy at its core chocolate mousse is dusted over with cocoa powder like tiramisu. It's layered over meringue toasted like campfire s'mores, a little crunch from the nuts, topped with a drizzle of rich tequila caramel sauce, and with just the slightest hint of heat after that first bite... It's over. Can I please have another one of these to-go? The desert itself is generously sized, perfect for sharing. However if you love sweets, to keep the peace, you'll order one for your guest... and one just for yourself. TIP: go now before the Instagram crowd discovers it Not sponsored or comped just sharing because this spot genuinely deserves the love

Yelp
New Italian restaurant in Capitol Hill. It's certainly eye catching w the huge sign indoors that so bright that it works as a sign for the restaurant outside. Once inside it's got a cool, bar like atmosphere, with an open kitchen and red lighting everywhere. The photos of the food didn't turn out too great because of the lighting but the food was good. Eggplant parm: My favorite. The eggplant was cheesy and the tomato sauce perfectly complemented the cheesiness of the eggplants. Gambas: The plump shrimp bathed in a buttery garlicky sauce was a delicious appetizer Vongole pasta: This could've used a bit more seasoning in my opinion. The noodles itself tasted good but the sauce was very light. I would've liked to taste a little more of the clam in the pasta itself since I really enjoyed the clams, juicy and perfectly cooked.

Yelp
We originally planned to visit another restaurant, but due to the long wait there, we decided to look for nearby options and came across this place. We arrived just a few minutes after it opened, so we were seated within about 10 minutes. The restaurant is quite spacious, with a modern vibe highlighted by red accents. We decided to try the $35 Seattle Restaurant Week menu (available until November 8). I started with the bruschetta, which was fresh and made for a great appetizer. For the main course, I had the penne alla vodka it was decent and the tiramisu for dessert, which was just okay. Considering the $35 price, the portion sizes were generous and the meal was very filling definitely good value overall. That said, the food leaned more toward American style Italian rather than authentic Italian, in my opinion. Unfortunately, the service was a bit disappointing. It was quite slow, and while I can't say for sure that our server was rude, her attitude toward us was noticeably different compared to how she interacted with the table next to ours. I'm not sure why perhaps it was just coincidence but as we were the only ones of our race there, it did make me wonder.

Yelp
Overall fun vibe, alright food. I like the vibe, the neon sign is really fun and it looks cool. We got there right at 5 for happy hour and it was pretty empty besides like 2 tables by the time I left. Service was pretty nice and friendly. I found the menus kinda confusing bc there's like 2 different menus for the bar and restaurant and I don't really understand. For the food it was just alright. I specifically thought the vodka pasta was really dry and not very saucy or creamy, it looked dry when I saw it come out and in the picture I took but I felt like it was even dryer eating it. The bolognese was alright, we both preferred this one though. Honestly I thought the best part of the meal was the dates. The broccoli was fine but didn't add much, just made me feel healthier lol. I'd maybe try again to see if they improve a bit but for now eh.

Yelp
This new restaurant just opened on East Pine. They are participating in Seattle Restaurant week, so I took the opportunity to check them out! Interestingly, this is two restaurants in one, with two sets of menus. You can order from the 'Uncle Dom's Italian Kitchen' menu or the bar tango menu if you fancy Spanish Tapas. Uncle Dom's has a wide glass front with a view of the Restaurant's name in neon over the bar. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The chairs, stools and tables are all quite high, which may be an accessibility issue for some. I was a fan of the original Tango, a few blocks away on Pike, and the owners here have included my old favorites on the menu. The 'cheap dates' are bacon wrapped dates with pickled onion, a truly epic little appetizer. They are a steal at $3 each! I also LOVE the El Diablo dessert, a decadent chocolate mousse with meringue, nuts, and a tequila caramel sauce. From the SRW menu I tried the bruschetta for an appetizer. It had great textures, but the subtler flavors were overwhelmed by the garlic. The lasagna was pretty good, with a tasty sausage. I'm more excited by the Spanish side of the menu than the Italian right now, but I'm looking forward to going back and trying more of their dishes.

Yelp
We were craving pasta and also wanted to try a new spot so landed on the new uncle dom's. The prices are definitely on the higher end for meals however totally worth the price. The chicken parm was super juicy and crispy, and sooo much food that in total made three meals lol the location is cozy with mood lighting with complimenting drapery. Our server was super nice and attentive! The only slightly confusing part is the separate space called bar tango but it's actually apart of uncle doms? Has two menus but you can order from both. Not a huge deal just an interesting choice. All in all, will definitely come back!

Yelp
Visited this place and tried the Seattle food week menu. The place had a line on its opening and we were seated in like 10 min. We had bruschetta and garlic bread for appetizers and both were very tasty! The pasta was also very fresh and tasty. The server was not rushing and giving us enough time between the different courses of the menu. There is enough seating and the staff is welcoming. We had tiramisu for the dessert and was a bit too sweet. Worth the visit for the food week menu!

Yelp
Went with some girlfriends for Seattle Restaurant Week and it was great! We got one of each appetizer available, my favorites were the garlic bread and broccolini. We all enjoyed our entrées, but the stars of the show were definitely dessert. The tiramisu was delicious, but the El Diablo dessert (which should absolutely be a regular menu staple but looks to only be available for Seattle restaurant week), was amazing. I'll be thinking of it for weeks to come.
