Great and juicy Rib tips. Hot links were okay (slightly over cooked). Serving size is enough for two meals. Tip: Eat food as soon as possible or poke a hole in the container to let the steam out. Get spicy sauce on the side.

Had a great experience at Uncle J’s BBQ even though all I had were the french fries. My friend had the rib tips and barbecued chicken and she loved the sauce. The thing that did it for me was the customer service and my quickness in which my order was done. I will be returning to this establishment in near future.

I was very happy with a slab of ribs. Their hot sauce is no joke, it definitely has some fire. Guy behind the counter was so nice. It’s a small inside place, but you order and wait outside. There is so much smoke coming out of this building, completely filling the intersection outside. So wonderful. A great experience.

This place deserves 20 stars, but the varied hours and ordering logistics hurts this place. The old faithful CASH ONLY locals spot serves THE BEST RIB TIPS I’ve had all around. The bbq sauce is thick and sweet. The fries are an afterthought. You tell them fried hard, they don’t. It’s soggy all at the bottom of the ribs. And that’s without the sauce. But honestly I don’t care, because the rib tips are that good. But if I didn’t live a few blocks away, I would have stop patronizing. Third party food delivery varies. But again, the food is worth it. Menu prices went up on small tip $1.50 in 3 months….

Some of the rib tips were a little pink, but, they were tender. The #7 is packed full of meat, so, I was satisfied with the quantity. The hotlinks were actually Hot and had a nice seasoned tasted. The chicken wings were great. They were seasoned just right, but the sauce was not inside the bag. I asked for the sauce on the side. The customer service was friendly. The cashier and order presenter smiled..

Went here on a Saturday afternoon. Only a few people ahead of us. Take out only and cash only. I got the rib tips and hot link combo. The rib tips were great. The sauce is a little sweet and has some spice to it. I liked it. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the hotlinks were a bit dry. Would definitely go back though.

I wanted some BBQ today so I decided to go here, it had been over a year since my last visit. Unfortunately to my dismay just as with many other businesses but especially restaurants.... the prices for the offerings have risen significantly however the products and service along with portions and quality have gone considerably down as well. I ordered a Tip/Wing Combo and my fries were hard and cold and the wings weren't fresh and drowned in the sauce (UGH I hate that sauce 😔) the rib tips were mostly bone and alot of burnt pieces. "To each their own" but I have never liked the sauce here it is awful in my opinion, it is too thick it's actually more like a paste /puree not a sauce and entirely too much chili powder or whatever out of place spice that has prominence, it takes over the flavor of the meat and not in a good way or to my liking. I forgot to ask for my order to be plain, now I am suffering through the sauce and wiping off what I can. They used to give healthy portions but not today or at least my order, additionally I had a skimpy portion of thin cut rib tips layered on top of a bed of hard fries for nearly $20. Maybe today was a bad day or the new normal....... I was displeased because my Bbq craving was left unsatisfied.

Cash only. Prices only recently went up after 4 years. Still the best barbeque for your buck on the south side of the city. Sauce is like that dope fiend fix you been searching for. Rib tips arethee most tenderest, tastiest cracking. Portions are Kingly.
