The lady (I didn’t get to get her name) was so kind and very helpful with picking flavors. She went through multiple flavors with me and my boyfriend to find one he likes and ended up finding one! She was so generous and will definitely be coming back. The flavors are perfect not too sweet but just right! Prices are also super reasonable.

Simple ice cream stand. The banana fudge swirl milkshake was delicious.

Something is wrong with their soft serve. It had an expired / moldy / chemical taste. It’s like when you get a beer from a tap and you know the line isn’t clean. If they got a new machine for soft serve I would stop by often. Nice people but they shouldn’t be selling the gasoline flavor ice cream.

The servers are incredibly kind, and a very kind lady came out and offered to do balloon tricks and face paint after we had some great ice cream. This place is great and I couldn't recommend it more.

Vanilla soft serve tasted like gasoline. Couldn’t eat more than two bites but I’m pregnant and had to call poison control and go to the doctor to make sure my baby would be ok. Will never come back here.

The 'G' in UNCLE LOUIE G must stand for gasoline. Same as everyone else, my vanilla soft serve tasted like straight up gasoline. Apologies to the fine folks at Brujo for spitting ice cream all over your sidewalk.

This is a good "classic" milk shake. What do I mean? They put a little bit of vanilla soft serve in my chocolate milkshake. Why? Best guess, to make it taste more milky?! I don't know. It was still a good milkshake, but not a to die for deep chocolate milkshake. Price wise, It's easily the best value around.

This is such a solid hole in the wall! If you're walking around in the area and you want a sweet treat make sure to visit their window! The service is so lovely, they really make you feel like a kid again. The ice cream itself is pretty standard, they have fun flavors which is the best part. It's nothing high end or gourmet but I don't really think that's necessary for a spot like this. It does the trick and is a tasty sweet treat!

Great ices. Remind me of when I was a child in Brooklyn growing up. Prices were a bit high but nothing out of the ordinary. Recommend !

Uncle Louie G's ice cream shop is a perfect hole in the wall (literally ordering through their window service) that offers a nice and welcoming vibe. I'm monogamous to chocolate and had the single scoop of chocolate fudge brownie icecream and this flavor impresses me with its rich, creamy texture and deep chocolate taste. I had a little less brownie bits than I would have preferred but still enjoyed a perfectly sweet and satisfying combination of flavors and textures. The ice cream was pretty smooth and indulgent, almost reminded me of a gummy texture but making it a perfect choice for chocolate lovers. Would recommend this place for any sweet craving.

This place has some delicious ice cream & icee! I was in Brooklyn for vacation recently & stopped on the way to my hotel as this was directly across the the L line. There were a few people in line in front of me, but the staff moved very quickly. I ordered a coconut ice & it was amazing! Bonus is they accept credit cards! Very nice treat on a humid NY day!

Italian ICESSSSS Mmmm! They have flavors on flavors at there tiny little walk up window serving the best iceys in BK. I like to mix pineapple and lemon and lime served in a big cup and a plastic spoon. Just a good ass summer desert.

I ordered a hot brownie sundae for delivery and was disappointed in the flavor, I am unsure how to describe it but it tasted off. It wasn't bad but I didn't know it was possible to make a brownie sundae that wasn't delicious.

Craving some good quality ice cream or icee?? Look no more ! This place has a wide variety of flavors in both ice creams and icees. They have almost every flavor you are looking for. They have great sizes from small to large which is perfect if you want to find a little cup for a little one . It has lots of seating with beautiful lights above and very close to the subway to Manhattan or Brooklyn. The lady who helped up with the icee was super nice and even gave us some recommendations. Definitely recommend . There is no inside seating so in the colder months you may want to plan to eat that in your apartment.

When It comes to ice cream in the neighborhood, Louie G's is THE best spot! Love the flavors and the ice cream is great, but more than anything it's the kindness! Jane is always kind & gracious, and it makes visiting Louie G's a must-stop in the neighborhood!

Not a bad spot for some quick Italian ice. $3 for a small. Area looks a bit sketchy but the place delivers. The lady who was running the counter was sweet and very attentive.

Sadly since Michael's passing this place has lost it's sense of neighborhood. It no longer provides the large size of love that Mike had nor the sense of what a large cup of ice cream is.

Following a fantasy league summit, Kyle N., John A., Samuel B., and I decided to pass on the fried ice cream donut at Win Son and pursue ice cream elsewhere. There wasn't a Jeni's and Ample Hills in sight, but we did some Yelping and found Uncle Louie G, which looked like a solid option. The place is a no-frills stand in Bushwick with a funny "giant ice cream cone" 5-foot statue in front. You can get either Italian ice or actual ice cream, and there are about 20 flavors each. I was simple and went for chocolate. Sam B., a professional reporter for New Food Economy, had to act like a reporter and ask endless detailed questions about the differences between the flavors, holding up the line. This aside, the ice cream was really great, and a bargain at $3 small, $5 large. I should have gotten another cause I was still really hungry afterwards. On a summer day, it's also a nice spot to just chill and discuss life and things like public transportation. Many rent-a-vespas were out in force, and we discussed whether, when all inputs and outputs are calculated, these are actually helping problems like congestion (local) and climate change (global) or not. It's a debate that'll be ongoing, especially with the inevitable scooter arrival in NYC soon. We also SMH'ed at league member Jordan S., who says ice cream is not all that even though he has a freezer stacked with Jeni's?!?!? I'm deducting one star for not accepting cards or bitcoin in 2019.

I'm giving them 5 stars. $3 per cup of a delicious ice cream is hardly to find these day. They have a variety of flavors to choose. Also, a guy who works at a counter is always nice. P.S. Don't let some fools stop you from support a good local business.

This place literally makes the most bussinest ice cream in all of Williamsburg! They have over 200 homemade flavors, I could not believe! Definitely give massive props to Louie and his niece.

Sorry people... came to this place looking for a great ice cream.... oops, not the place!!! If you are looking for variety, this is the place... they have many many flavors (even though they do not have hazelnut). I tried 3 of them and to tell you the truth, none of them were good enough to make me get those extra calories!!! Chocolate, missing balance and taste... coffee, too strong on one side and lame on the texture and creaminess.... then the nice lady told me to try the cappuccino... again a foul.... after that, I apologized and just left!!! Sorry...

I love Italian icys... especially on a hot summer day. And I enjoy uncle Louie G icys .. they have a lot of flavors to choose from my favorite will always be rainbow ... but I have tried other flavors and I'm never disappointed.

Love this local little summer spot. The lady that works there was wearing a mask and gloves. She made to go order so cute and says they will be open well past Labor Day this year(2020) for those who want to try the many many flavors and ices they serve!

These guys are so great! A wonderful neighborhood spot with a great selection of flavors. The scooper is always really friendly. Love them! Ps. The cotton candy flavor is where it's at!

We got the peanut butter ice cream, mango Italian ice, and frozen yogurt and it was delicious!!! I don't recommend the matcha at all tho.

Haven't had Uncle Louie G in over 10 years. My son was bugging me for ice cream all day. Finally stopped by the old neighborhood and saw Uncle Louie G open. Plenty of parking in the neighborhood now with the pandemic going. Lady at Uncle Louie G was kind enough to allow my son to sample a few flavors before selecting one of their chocolate ice creams. I think it was $3 for a cup. It wasn't too bad.

After dinner my 7 year old daughter and I always go get dessert at Uncle Louie Icecream and I love how Mike the Owner greets us and puts a smile on our faces face earlobe to earlobe Mike is the mayor of the neighborhood He says hello to everyone and I'm so impress how he remembers everybody's name .... Uncle Louie G has so many flavors, try them all. The benches are where everyone hangs out at night and chats, the girls who work here are nice. The price is cheap and the line moves so fast. Hot summer night, lemon ice, perfection, this is the real Brooklyn how it used to be.

I hate writing bad reviews but I'm just warning you. Their Icy's are SWEET!!!!! I had ice cream from this brand before but a different location and I have no complaints. I come here, and the lady seemed like she didn't want to serve my daughter and I. She never made eye contact with me, it seemed like she was trying to get rid of us. I asked her a question, she rolled her eyes and walked away. And to top it off she gave me the wrong flavor. This is another on the don't come back list.

I want this place to be better. Rainbow Ice reminded me of pizza shop ices, and its better than Ralph's. However....the business has room for improvement. The place looks like the franchisee has neglected it for some time. They only take cash, which was a surprise, the woman working there was scooping the ices with one hand and had her phone in the other one. Didn't seem too interested in working and she messed up the order. Also, the number listed on google for them is a former employee....will probably go back because there's no where else for ices.

This is my favorite ice cream place not only is the ice cream delicious. But there is a very dedicated older woman worker who knows how 2 tackled a line long as a train down 2 1 person. I think she is amazing. She has been working there 4 over 8 years and i c her how ahe listens 2 every customer of what they want. I c customers take her for granted but i feel she has the hardest job in the world. She should be appreciated and respected. I know i cant do what she does. I come 2 this place at least once a week and I noticed this place is always clean.

Really solid ice cream. I have pretty simple wants in this space -- good chocolate that you can bite into -- and this place delivered. My wife got mint chip, which was also very good.

After a beautiful day lounging on Pompano Beach and enjoying the views from the pier I wanted a snack. Yelp to the rescue with Uncle Louie G's just over the bridge. It's located in a cute plaza with a pizza place, a burger place, and a cafe, so I'll have to remember this plaza is here for other beach trips. They had a few customer already enjoying their treats, but no line. They have a very large selection of both ice cream and Italian ice (probably at least 20 flavored of each) and the man behind the counter was happy to give samples. My boyfriend being the more avid dessert lover went with ice cream. Brooklyn cheesecake I think was the name, in a sugar cone. I spotted huge chunks of cheesecake in it, so I stole a piece, who doesn't want chunks of cheesecake? I went with something more refreshing, a small lemon Italian ice. It is served in a cup that looks kind of small, but Italian ice tends to have a richness to it, and this one definitely did, had I not loved it so much I may have had trouble finishing it. The lemon was the perfect combination of sweet and sour and the ice had a creamy quality to it. I can't wait to go back and try more flavors. I typically think of Italian ice as fruity because my favorite flavor is the lemon, but they offer more dessert like flavors such as cannoli and cake batter as well. The service was friendly and the price was reasonable. Located on the north side of Atlantic this is the perfect place to stop for a post beach cool treat.

I am not gonna mess the streak of perfect ratings. This is a very small establishment, but the layout gets the max amount of efficiency. They have over 76 types of flavor. The girl I was with loved her waffle cone with cookies and cream ice cream. I was full from early dinner. The service was friendly and informative. And the ice cream was delicious. It's right along the beach. Prefect for a dessert after a long beach day.

Year after year this place opens up for the spring - fall season . I love it , the kids love it . What's not to love about some great flavored Icys on a hot summer day . Mike the owner is always nice and greats everyone with a smile .

Ice cream is great. Italian ice and frozen yogurt there as well. Twice yesterday I went there, first for a kiddy cup of 1/2 pistachio ice cream, and 1/2 butter pecan. Absolutely smooth and delicious! Later on in the evening I had the same, only medium size. My wife had some ( she doesn't eat ice cream often), and she agreed that it's noteworthy. The owner, and her family, WORK there. It's first class. And spotless!

Really friendly joint across the bridge in pompano. Close proximity and great service. I ate a quart of ice cream before i made it home and I'm less than 5 min. So ya, it's good and I'm a fat fu$?

Love this place! I've only ever ordered from uber eats but it's great! The watermelon, coconut, and cantaloupe ice flavors are my favorite. The hot fudge brownie is also tasty.

We read the reviews and were excited to visit this place for some Italian Ice. Like most families on Thanksgiving weekend, we had everyone with us: Grandpa, the grandkids random aunties and uncles, all arriving at different times to the shop. Grandpa may have been a little impatient, but the response from the server was absolutely unacceptable. She was rude and disrespectful to Grandpa who is hard of hearing. When he asked for a brownie she cut him short and said she threw those away because no one orders them. No explanation no apology, no hospitable manner. She incorrectly corrected me on spumoni of all things. No one else was in the shop so it wasn't like she was busy and stressed out. Unacceptable, we went to a different ice cream stop with our 10 family members. Won't be back.

Been to this place three times. 1st and 3rd visit were the same, an old man was working, I ordered a double scoop for around $5, It was the smallest double scoop that I have EVER received at an ice cream shop. The 2nd visit I ordered a double scoop, it was a reasonable sized serving, it was served by a woman, who I think is the owner. Skip this place and go buy ice cream at the store. The old man is cheap and stupid and will cause this place to go out of business. I will never return

If I could give this place 6 stars I would! This cute little joint is perfect for that hot day, when you need a little treat to cool off with. Even when it's not hot out, this is a great spot! The woman working the window is so cute and so helpful! All their flavors are delicious! There's even Italian Ice and sorbet for the vegans and lactose intolerant. Do yourself a favor and stop by this place!

I love the ice cream there , me and my boyfriend love eating there because it's really good ice cream! However the lady who works there definitely is a Karen. She was so rude to the people in front of me and when it got to me I wanted a cone for me and my boyfriend and asked nicely since she is touching money if she can switch her gloves because of my cone and she laughed in my face rudely and gave me attitude the whole time and said whatever. Also , the people after us had kids with them and she already has no mask and is coughing around the ice cream! Love the place but could use better worker!

I enjoyed trying out their milk shakes. They have a variety of flavors and the owner was very friendly and nice. The customer service was great and have to look for the other chains of this ice cream parlor.

I work in the same plaza doing valet at cafe maxx and I've seen this place here for about 7 months or so and finally decided to try it today. I've loved Italian ice as a kid and I'm a pretty hard critique when it's comes to my ice! I have to say I wasn't disappointed , I was greeted, and gravitated right to the mango! I ended up getting 3 scoops of mango, passionfruit, and lemon and I am one happy customer! I'm going back after my shift to get a combo pint of all 3, I recommend all 3 of these flavors, so rich and sweet, hits the spot!!

My family and I have visited many times in the past and have been very happy. However last night was a different experience. I don't know if there is new ownership or an untrained staff. The person working didn't know the difference between a cake cone and a sugar cone. The single scoop barley covered the top of the cone. Two other customers walked in and asked for a banana split, the staff replied that they did not know how to make one, the customers ended up walking out. Very disappointing!! Hopefully this was just a bad night or a fluke. I would love to be able to change the number of stars.

This is one of my favorite places to get water ices, however the service has gotten worse over my last few visits. The staff the past two times I've gone have been extremely unfriendly and it almost comes across as a personal issue. Today the lady at the counter was extremely unpleasant and hesitated to give my girlfriend our ices before first having the money in her hands although my girlfriend was already handing it to her. However when she took the customers behind us, she was more pleasant and gave them their ice cream before ensuring that she was paid first. It seems as though this is more of a bias issue and I will now have to find a new place that has more respect for ALL customers.

Excellent ice cream and they also had really good Italian ice like pineapple, mango, lemon and pina colada flavors. With their regular scoop they did two different flavors on my sugar cone - hard to decide since they have so many good flavors so it was nice to be able to get two scoops. It's an extra buck if you want their homemade waffles cones. My wife got the waffle cone and it was delicious. I had peanut butter cookie dough and chocolate peanut butter. Both were delicious. The owner and her daughters are super friendly. Just across the way from the Publix supermarket so a great place to stop after your shopping trip.
