Uncle Pete's Pizza

We were visiting the town for an event and stopped by because I noticed this hole on the wall type of place when I drove by last time I was in town and thought it must be amazing to be able to survive for this long. This quaint place looked very interesting with a bunch of b/w photos of Einstein next to young Jack Nicholson and other celebrities. Unfortunately, the overpriced pizza tastes ok but it's not what we had hoped for.

Uncle Pete’s Pizza absolutely blew me away! The pizza was beyond delicious—every bite was packed with flavor. The sauce was truly next-level: rich, perfectly seasoned, and had just the right balance of sweetness and tang. You can tell they put a lot of love into their recipe. The crust was golden and crispy on the outside, yet soft and chewy inside—just the way I like it. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the food and the atmosphere, but Uncle Pete’s really delivered. I can’t wait to go back!

Okay.. The crust is great.. The fact that they give you a lot of toppings, is great. But I thought the sausage lacked the Italian sausage taste. It was more like pork sausage than Italian sausage, and the sauce tasted too much like tomato paste. It was still good and I wasn't really disappointed but I think if they added more fennel to the sausage and stepped up their sauce.. They would have the best pizza anywhere around.

Ordered a pan pizza, got a deep dish. Ordered extra sauce, got a ton extra, way too much. Asked for it to be pulled early and do not overcook, was overdone and bottom and crust was hard as a rock. Couldn't eat it so it got tossed. Sad because this was not the first time but it's now the last that we try to get a decent pizza here.

Pizza is really good. Thin crust is yummy nice and crispy. The cheese is actually real cheese. The location is old . They don’t wear gloves but seems clean inside. Has coupons which are good. 😌 my family loves.

Uncle Pete's has one of the most delicious pizza I've had. They are generous with their toppings and sauce. We ordered online for pickup and they had it ready right when we walked in at the estimated time they gave us. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I will be coming back for more pizza!

I eat pizza an unhealthy amount, I order from a different pizza parlor almost every time. I just ordered a 14" thin crust & this may very well be the best pizza that I have ever devoured! I really hope the consistency is there, because I very much look forward to my next order. Keep up the great work!

Great thin crust pizza! I bought lunch for my team at work and everyone was happy. We crafted and cooked and a great value compared to the chains. Family owned and it shows!

The cheesiest deep dish EVER! Huge! Awesome sausage. Big taste. A special treat that always hits the spot.

Another quickie. Tavern-style takeout. The pie-crust looked prefab-kinda skimpy on the cheese. Sausage was non-descript. It didnt suck, but it wasn't great. It was..."pizza" (quote marks to be taken literally)

Place rocks!!! If you're getting slices fine they are decent-- but order a full pizza and get it thin -- wow the sauce is great also-- was sleeping on this place for awhile -- not anymore- best Za in Naperville for sure!!! I'm a pizza pro and take my word for it- People are down to earth and cool also that run the joint

Let me start by saying that we knew about this pizza joint, but always went to our favorite Aurelio's at the Springbrook location. They've recently closed and my husband and I needed a replacement pizza place. Well, on a nice evening in August we decided to try Uncle Pete's pizza in Naperville. We ordered a thin crust medium with extra sauce and sausage. The pizza was so heavy that my husband couldn't believe it. Came home the pizza was just as we ordered. Uncle Pete's pizza is our new restaurant. The pizza was delicious, you won't be disappointed. The customer service was on point as well!

Top notch sauce flavor! Love the extra thin pizza! No frills and take out only, but you can tell this place is seasoned, they know their pizza.

Perfect old school pie, 10/10. Got a large with sausage and mushroom, it was finished quickly ready for pickup when I arrived. It's take out only.

I haven't had pizza here in 20 years. I liked it. The sauce was tasty, the sausage & crus were good. Staff was friendly and my order was correct and ontime. Very budget friendly.

One of if not the BEST thin crust gluten free pizza's in the area. My wife took one bite and her eyes said it all, yummy! Her pie had spinach, pineapple and goat cheese. I had full-on gluten thin crust with pep and sausage. I tried hers first to not cross contaminate and I like the gf crust better. It's thin, crispy, gluten free and NO flop. Pete's is delivery and take away only. I suggest take away for the free smells.

Good sauce and pizza. The delivery could be a little better lol. Oh well what are you gonna do? Covid-19 we rely on good delivery. But sometimes you just don't get a successful delivery. However the food was early and the pizza was hot and delicious. So three stars for taste and being early.

I saw this little place and I said why not. I needed a pizza for the 1st weekend of the NFL playoffs! They were opened so I ordered online. I don't want to sound like a broken record but I ordered the usual :-) So they messed up the first pizza. Of course I wanted pie cut and they gave me squares. They made a second pizza for me and it was correct. And tasty. And delicious. Big chunks of tasty sausage. Delicious pepperoni. Savory and sweet sauce. Cracker thin crust. Very good pizza. And they let me have both pizzas. Sweet! Two stars for one reason: five employees were present during this purchase and not one had a mask on. I didn't want to get sick so I went outside and checked out the honeys walking out of Bri Lan Couture. Well...shoot all of them are not engaged! Some of them are bridesmaids or relatives, that are looking (hint, hint).

You can walk downtown Naperville all day. You will not find a Pizza as fresh and executed to perfection as Uncle Pete's. Best Pizza in the city.

BEST pizza around, especially their gluten free crust!! I moved to Naperville 3 years ago and it's the only pizza I ever order. The sizes are actually accurate if not BIGGER than normal. They also LOAD on the toppings. You definitely get your money's worth in both quantity and quality!

Ordered a pizza and salads at 5:45pm. Delivery stated in 45minutes. An hour later they said pizza in the oven it would be 20 minutes. Half our later the pizza was going into the oven it would be 20 minutes. At 8:30pm they said the lost the ticket and would now start making the pizza. Guess what another 20 minutes. Canceled the order.

Pizza dough was partially uncooked, big blob of cheese thrown on top as in last moment thought. Wait was too long, and didn't deliver as expected, even more delay. Talk among the staff was very inappropriate. Tried once and never again.

Had to sit and wait an extra 15 mins for it to be ready. Pizza was very heavy on the sauce and honestly not that great. Too many other options in the area that put this place lower on the list but still a decent pizza. I went with thin and will have to try the deep dish some other time as that seems to be what the better reviews are for.

Excellent extra thin crust "Uncle Pete's Special" delivered graciously by George. We haven't ordered from there for awhile but after this pizza, we will return again.

Ordered online and the online order got messed up. Called to rectify the situation and was told basically that's too bad. Well... that is too bad. I will give my business elsewhere. Also went online to see if this was somehow our fault. Walked through the process and it happened again. It rejects any added toppings right before you pay. Would think they would want to know whats going on, but they were so uncaring on the phone that I would rather not even try to explain. As a business owner and former restaurant manager im just disgusted by their lack of care and respect.

We have a 2 year old who is allergic to gluten went here so my husband and other kids can have a regular pizza and ordered their gluten free. When we went to pick up the girl said we didn't order a gluten free despite the fact she read the order back on the phone and said gluten free. This is a big deal for us and they didn't even do anything to right the wrong for us....so now literally half my family can't eat.

Great pizza!! We get it once a week. Extra thin crust is the best. Gus' Glory is our favorite. Best tasting Caesar salad!!!!!

I can't speak to the full pizzas, but the pizza by the slice for lunch was one of the worst single slices I've ever had. No flavor, the cheese was like plastic just sitting on top of the pizza. I watched the employee go to the refrigerator, take a slice of pizza out and put it in the oven for 2 minutes. That's the slice of pizza I got...nothing freshly made, and mind you this was at 12:15pm right in the heart of lunch time. I'd be willing to try them again for a full, freshly made pizza, but do not go here for a single slice.

Not one person working here had a mask or gloves on. The waiting room is packed and no sanitizer anywhere. I called ahead for pickup and came in 35 minutes after my order and it wasn't ready. The order took an additional 30 minutes so I'm assuming they started my order when I arrived. Pizza was good but there are plenty of places in Naperville following the health mandates.

This has become our "go-to" pizza place since we've moved here. Pizza always arrives very timely, is delicious, and fairly priced. Not sure what else you're looking for in a pizza place, but they got it.

Omg! Uncle Pete's Pizza is so good I am already thinking about our next order. The delivery was fast and friendly and the pizza is Outstanding! Tastes so fresh. Based on pizza taste alone, the one time I tried it, I was not a fan. It was an Uncle Pete's special (regular crust) and the pizza was undercooked (which happens, so we just stuck pieces in the oven to bake a few more minutes), and overall the dough and veggies were great and fresh. The sausage was fine, nothing great or terrible. It has a generous amount of cheese, which is normally my thing. However, this cheese was bland. Really bland. It tasted like American cheese (oily/watery/smooth-melting) if American cheese's flavor was supposed to come from mozzarella instead of cheddar/colby. And the cheese needed salt. I'm hoping it was just a fluke, like they ran out of their normal cheese and had to use something different. Would try again if the cheese normally tastes different than it did yesterday (10/11/22).

Food-5/5 Very good pizza. Received two very big slices for $8. The pizza was very well made and had the perfect amount of sauce. The price along with high quality gives this place a 5/5. Service/Vibes-4/5 Service was not extraordinarily but was on par to my expectations. The place did not have a place to eat and was just take out.

The most overpriced pizza I've ever had and I've had a lot of deep dish expensive pizzas in Chicagoland area. Even with the coupon I was disappointed in how expensive it is for what you get. The sauce on the pizza was probably the thing that stood out the most as it tasted very fresh but again not worth the price.

This place has been here for over 36 years or something like that, so you know they must be good (even if there are some a few people who write bad reviews). We recently moved here and this is the best of the pizza places we have tried. My favorite is the extra thin crust. The Abe Froman and the Southern Italian are awesome! Get extra sauce too. On top of it, the gentleman who delivered our pizza tonight was such a nice person. His personality and the comment he made to me as he left made my evening. Thank you!

So disappointed. Moved here to Naperville 3 years ago. Every time I've ordered a 20" pizza, it's uncooked and basically raw. Please ask them to cook it well. Friday I ordered a 20" pizza with sliced tomatoes and mushrooms. When we picked it up, it was raw and a sloppy mess. Not to mention, waited 20 minutes for a pizza i ordered 1-1/2 hours earlier for. I spoke to Jay the owner, after leaving 2 messages with others at the restaurant of my dissatisfaction, he basically said "that what you get when you order a bunch of vegetables on it" What????????? Press the water out!!!!! You're not serious???? Don't go there!!

Our preferred place for pizza delivery--great sauce and a wide variety of pizza types/toppings available. Also has great calzones, though they don't make them on weekends.

Had the Uncle Pete's Special... so tasty! The garlic bread was pretty good too. I like the history of the place, don't be deterred by the sight of the building! It's a nice little hole in the wall pizza place

Thank you for always having a coupon, Uncle Petes, because the value is already awesome. We've tried all pie thicknesses and love 'em all. My kids get so excited with their 'pizza by the slice' and for $3 and some change, it's so convenient. We recently ordered a thin crust Hawaiian type pizza (um, twice in 1 week). My 11 year old and I were racing each other back and forth to the box, trying to steal the last morsel of pizza. Is it the sauce? The dough, crust? I don't know the magic, but do think their ratio and size of ingredients is spot on.
