Uncle Tetsu Japanese Cheesecake

I wasn't too impressed with this cheesecake as a dessert. Yes it's light and airy, but does that make a great cheesecake? Turns out, no. I rather get a Junior's cheesecake any day of the week. There's also only one size of this cheesecake so you can't really just get it to try, it serves at least 5-6, but it's less than $15 so not the worst deal. I'm still giving this place three stars since it's nice to be able to try new things, even if they're not my cup of tea.

It's not bad, very fluffy and airy indeed. It's like eating a sponge with cheesecake flavor haha... But the thing is I love New York Cheesecake and for me, there is no competition. I loved to try this new option and I would like to try more. The place is to pick up, there's no sitting or else, but that's ok. It's pretty well located: one block away from Bryant Park, so no problem to go there to eat it!. 👍🏻

The Japanese Cheesecakes are fantastic and the cheese tarts are really good as well. Everything is baked fresh, and the aroma when you open the door is wonderful.

This is a legitimate Japanese soufflé cheesecake shop. Very light and fluffy. Similar consistency to the Japanese pancake. I personally like this texture but definitely not for everyone. If u like soufflé then you definitely would love it. Not too sweet or too cheesy. Perfect light dessert. The Shop offer on to go option. No eat in

FYI- Each person can only get one cheesecake. If you want one more, you’ll need to line up again or bring a friend 😉. I’ve been waiting for this to open for awhile. It is near work and I had Japanese cheesecake while traveling. This cheesecake was good, but tasted too eggy for my taste. We also tried the madeleines, it is bigger than ones I’ve had from Financiers. The shop is very cute (kawaii >.<)and the line around 3 pm in the afternoon is about 10 minutes. Would’ve been quicker if it isn’t us waiting for the newly baked cheesecake (3 minutes).

Oh Yes! This is the legit Japanese cheese cake! Sooooo yummy. It is fluffy, light and subtle sweetness. It is so tasty that I can eat the whole cake. I was so happy to find this place. There were steady stream of customers. No seating in the store. Take out only.

I bought 4 cheesecake over Ubereats yesterday. Today when I had my second cheesecake I found two pieces of unknown plastics within middle of the cheese cakes. didn’t bother to go through the rest, although there might be more in it. Totally disappointed!

Great cheesecake! Fluffy and tasty. Perfect as a dessert or breakfast! Very yummy!! I bought one to be my birthday cake, was a perfect choice! My cat loved it too! Lol 😆
