This place is great! Service was very friendly and the atmosphere is outstanding. The food was good with the fries being cooked well and the chicken tenders being delicious, although I would recommend making some slight changes to the breading where it’s less burned. Minor opinions aside, this was a great place that I should of put on my list much sooner, but I’m glad I did manage to check this place out. Wound definitely recommend giving this place a try and I would definitely come back again.

This is one of my favorite spots at the Boardwalk at Granite Park. I love sitting out on the patio by the fire pits. The food is always great. Service is always very friendly and attentive. Great spot for a leisurely afternoon or evening with a date or friends.

BEST BEERS in town. They know what craft brewing is all about. Food items are fresh and made to perfection. Good outdoor seating for pets, vibe is also nice. We had chicken sandwich and grilled salmon, both were delicious.

Everything about this place is amazing. The food is great, the drinks are great, place is so charming and lively, service is great. Their sweet & spicy shrimp is a must try, the chicken wings were also too good. Just go and enjoy some good food and good music. Place has some feel good vibe❤️

Had caesar salad and rigatoni. Tried to not like it, but it was great. Little bit spicy, very tasty. Cooked just right. Garlic bread was good.

Another restaurant where we had a gift coupon was full up with 1 1/2 hr wait. So this was an easy choice to switch. We were offered a 20 min wait not too bad. So we settled up at the bar and ordered. One can get a flight of any beers (4 glasses = pint) to try them out. SHE who cashes my retirement check got the Honey Bear drink, very good. After getting comfortable we opted to skip a table seating and would eat at bar. When checking in with host they get your mobile nr. and text you. You can text them back to cancel a table seating. We got two different plates which was plenty of food so be be hungry or take leftovers. The place was just about completely full by the time we left. Friends and family have a good time Sat night. Great first impression. SHE who cashes my retirement check had been here before for lunch with friends so when our 1st choice restaurant was too crowded we came here. Seating right away and order placed. We got small salad each and split a flatbread. More than enough food. Menu was different on weekday. Not hungry at supper hour later. Order taking is with a hand held computer. When ready to pay server brings ticket, scan QR code which connects to website to pay. Best to have Google Wallet already on phone to take care of paying. Only downside was place was packed so noise level off the charts for me. Glad I had some ear plugs on me to cut down noise.

This was my first time, went for lunch. Everything tasted great! service was quick and we got a table right away. Loved the atmosphere too! I was really amazed at the Shrimp appetizer, it was a bit spicy but it tasted really good. I will definitely be back!

Can here for brunch with a friend. There are a lot of drink, food, and brunch options. The restaurant has an industrial vibe and is nicely decorated. The service was prompt and fast. I ordered the all American breakfast. The scrambled eggs with cheese were fluffy and paired well with the roasted potatoes. The sausage and bacon were also good. The bread was roasted and a little hard. Overall, it was a very filling breakfast.

Always a great time and the beer always taste like a cool mountain spring. The service was great the food was great. The kids had two kids cheese pizzas and kids tenders. We had the chicken sandwich and the Reuben I guess they were out of kids menus which is kind of a bummer cause some of our kids are a little smaller I looked online and I wasn't easily able to find it Luckily our server who had the patience of a saint that made some great recommendations for the kids and everything turned out perfectly

Trendy and casual place. Great for big groups! Food has been consistent each time we visit and the wait staff is great. They have a pretty extensive menu with plenty to choose from. Definitely recommend the cauliflower elotes The fish and chips were not as good as expected, the breathing was really thick and the ratio of bread to meat was off. Staff was so friendly and were great in accommodating our big party.

This is a great brewery and family restaurant inside of granite Park. They have a great list of beers that they brew locally. They also have a happy hour menu and a kids menu. I enjoy the decor which is family-friendly but also fancy enough to have a date night. The bar area is also pretty lively. Our waiter was awesome. Josue near the menu and he also had good suggestions for beers to try. I'll definitely keep this on my list of breweries that serve a tasty menu with good ingredients and have a nice selection of beer in well-behaved family-friendly environment.

I was at an event earlier and decided to stay for lunch. The staff is friendly, fun and helpful! Kacy is a phenomenal waitress! Drink recommendation she recommended was on point for my palate (strawberry plate) because she actually asked me questions about what flavors I like! Also love her laid back and professional demeanor! Adult chicken tenders and French fries delicious! Glad to get some greens in too! Great place for Small and large groups. Also nice outdoor patio.

My pookie and I ordered two beers to take outside of the restaurant and sit by the pond. This was our second time at Union Bear. The last time we were here at Union Bear in Plano was the beginning of last year, and we had a positive experience, so we had to come back. Good beer on tap, nice views on the water, good vibes, clean area. What more can you ask for!

The place has a Whiskey Cake feel to it. Leveled up pub food. Offer merch. Had a flight the No Coast beer was my favorite. Balanced amd flavourful, not bitter, not light or heavy it was just delish, wish I would've only order that one instead of the flight the others beers were good too: blonde ale,amber ale and west coast. Food was good kids chicken tenders were lightly breaded crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside seemed pretty fresh and not the yucky hard thick breading so many places have. The elote brisket flat bread was yummy full of flavors only thing the middle section of crust was soggy but the flavors were still good wish the whole flatbread would have been crispy it would have made a huge difference. Louisiana style chiccharons were fairly, light ,crispy, warm and had the right amount if kick without being overwhelming. Staff was super friendly prices aren't crazy either. If in the area try it, I'll be back.

Forever in search of new brews! a quick search of breweries near me on this visit to Plano served me well. Great list of local brews. I love an Empty bar, that means I get to talk to the barkeep a lot more about what they have to offer. I always try a few tasters to guide me in the right direction so that was fun. American style bistro / gastropub is what I get when I walk in, very spacious & clean, they even have a picture booth thingy. Very dope spot. No food on this visit but I shall return! UPDATE: I came back and got food! The honey pig was off the chain! FYE

Great spot that we happened to stumble upon as we were in the area. I loved the selection of craft beer they make as well as the taps available from local breweries. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Available indoor and outdoor seating. It was too warm for us to sit outside but I will add they had misters. The interior is well spaced and decorated for customers enjoyment. We did a flight of their beer $8 to get a good taste on their range for brew. All were very well liked except of for the Imperial Ipa it was a bit too strong for me. As for the Oktoberfest, I could not help myself, I just had treat myself to an autumn beer which turned out to be so good! I then switched to their Fiestbeir which was a tad lighter than the Oktoberfest but welcomed in flavor. My glasses of beer were $6 My partner ordered the old fashion $14, the balance of the ingredients was enjoyed. it was not overly sweet. As an appetizer we ordered the pretzel bites. $9 We were a bit confused, these were more garlic knots than pretzels. The bread was buttered and doughy, good all around just not what we had originally wanted. I was not a fan of the IPA mustard, and the cheese seemed more like a powdered mix.

My family stopped in for a bite and to relax, after a day of exploring. We were able to sit on the back patio while waiting for our table. It was comfortable and a great break from the hot weather. We were sat inside within 30 minutes. There's something for everyone and each entree was satisfying for the intended palette. The honey bear cocktail was a bit too sweet for my liking, but a welcomed surprise for another diner in the group. Spacious seating and attentive wait staff made the experience enjoyable.

Union Bear was a great place to celebrate my husbands birthday. Their beer selection is incredible and everything we ordered was tasty. The fish tacos were far and away the most delicious thing and I will definitely be back for more. We also loved the dark and moody vibe.

We had such a fun time last night at Union Bear with our party of 8. We had reservations and got in fairly quickly. Our server was lovely and very accommodating to our needs, she moved with urgency, refilled drinks promptly, and made sure everything was correct with our orders. The place is decorated beautifully and has wonderful ambiance with it's low, warm lighting. Floors and tables all appeared clean. Food was delicious all around, our table ordered their beloved brussel sprouts as a side and a bunch of flat breads and fish and chips! No complaints from anyone. We loved it and will surely come back for our next work gathering.

Had an issue with wait system and the manager worked to resolve it. Good conversation with the manager and turned the experience positive. Good food and drink as always.

I loveee going to this place because the food is always good! It's also really nice inside and from what I hear they have amazing beer. While the food is amazing I absolutely love their brownie, whenever I speak of this place I'm always telling people how amazing their brownie is!!!! I never had bad service here and I've been here with two people and 10 people and the service didn't change. I can't wait to return for some yummy food and that brownie!!!!! Go you won't regret it.

It was a perfect day to sit on the patio. Our server, Chase, was awesome! Friendly and made good recommendations. I am super disappointed the Elote Cauliflower has been taken off the menu. That and the Honey Bear cocktail were my favorite!

This is our go to date night spot! We sit at the bar, which takes a while to get a spot, but it's worth the wait. The pretzel bites are so good. I always get the salmon (amazing and cooked just right). Sometimes I sub out the green beens for the brussels (so good). I think my husband has tried most of the menu and it's all so good! The staff is 10/10 recommend!

We were on the waitlist but got lucky enough to sit at the bar. The gentleman who helped us was very nice and let us sample some of the beers we were questioning. The Brussels sprouts here were fantastic. The smothered fries with the poblano queso and brisket was so good. I'll def order both again. We had a good time here and will be back!

I appreciate their prompt response and call back in attempt to remedy the situation. Confirmed with the DOO, no extra charge for substituting one of the sauces for the other. He made sure my questions and issues were answered. He was understanding and personable. Will visit again and give them another chance.

This is THE spot in the Plano area for a HH after work. You can't go wrong with any of the beers, cocktails, or appetizers/entrees on the menu. I highly recommend going here on a day where it isn't too hot and sitting outside. You get a great view of the water out front with some great service across the board as well. If you can time it correctly, try to come in for the weekday social hour between 3PM-6PM or the late night HH every day 9PM-Close. You can score some pretty sweet deals. My personal favorite HH items are the UB Blonde and the Chips and Queso. I will say if you're going to come here, try calling ahead for a reservation or see if you can waitlist because this place gets packed pretty quickly.

The server was awesome. Sorry I didn't catch her name. Cool place, outside has misters and it was still too hot to sit outside. I ordered Fish and Chips, and the companion had a Nashville chicken sandwich. He said it was ok. The only edible part of my dish was the fish. Wonderfully cooked and tasty. Coleslaw, not for me, fries luke warm and underseasoned. Beer was good. Doesn't warrant a return trip for me.

I like the pub food. I've tried a different item with each visit. The fish and chips are good. Surprisingly, I like the Cole slaw. The carrot cake had candied pecans on it.

Union bear is a solid choice for drinks and food, the only gripe I have about this place is that it's almost always busy and so it's just best to make a reservation. Ambience is very loud because it's always so crowded.

I was in the area visiting family and they suggested we eat at Union Bear for dinner one night. It was super busy during their happy hour between 4pm and 6pm on a Wednesday. I noticed they also offer a late night happy hour that starts at 9pm- super cool! This place is a hit with kids. My nieces loved their food choices. They have a fun complimentary Photo Booth near the front that we all enjoyed. I opted for a blonde ale and then a frosé during happy hour. For my meal, I chose the Del Mar Poké Bowl. It was super good. I asked for extra sriracha on the side. So good! We really enjoyed ourselves. I'd definitely go back! The boardwalk is super fun along the water and parking is a breeze.

Union Bear is a locally owned brewery & restaurant that brews their own beer. It's located on The Boardwalk in Plano, TX and I highly recommend stopping by for brunch. Apparently the UB Cinnamon-Sugar Pretzel Bites are very popular for brunch as I noticed that practically every table on the patio ordered them. My sis ordered the honey pig flatbread. It consisted of spicy salami, fresh mozzarella, torn basil, chili flakes, local honey. Her only complaint was that they were a little heavy handed on the honey. It was my cheat day so I splurged on the fish and chips with salt and pepper fries. The fish was properly cooked, but it definitely could have used some seasoning. On a brighter note, the mimosas were perfectly crafted with 95% champagne and 5% juice, just like I like it. Overall, my experience was pleasant and I'll definitely return.

Loved this place! When you can get good beer, decent food and the staff know what customer service is all about, I'm in! Sat at the bar, (which I usually do while on the road) and they were great! Always asking if I needed anything, answered all my questions being my first one here! Bartenders were great! Stop bye and give it a try

Delicious food & cocktails. We had the pretzel bite appetizer and chips with queso. The pretzels were ridiculously good! The Bloody Mary is infused in house & served with/ beef jerky garnish. We had wonderful fish & chips served with slaw & FF followed by fresh made carrot cake & a brownie. I highly recommend trying this place out. A booth in the bar are La is best seat to request. Took off a star because of finishes dishes not being removed.

I went here for a friends brunch get together one Saturday. The place is nice inside, kind of cozy feeling and our server did a great job. I got the UB Pancake Breakfast $16.00 which came with 2 eggs, a short stack of pancakes, bacon and a sausage patty. I ordered my eggs over easy and they were cooked correctly. Everything was just okay, pretty generic except for the sausage patty. This was my favorite part of my meal as it was very tasty. I also got to try few other things that I did not order. The Korean Fried Chicken Wings $15.00 had a good taste sauce wise but were not crispy at all which is disappointing. I did get to try the UB Cinnamon-Sugar Pretzel Bites $9.00 and these were addictingly good, they are very sweet but absolutely delicious. For what I got the value does not seem to be there, kind of overpriced in my opinion. I would not go out of my way to go back.

Went here with some friends for a birthday celebration and had such a good time. The house made beer is delicious. Definitely try out the Hefe. I had the fish and chips and it was exactly what I wanted. The coleslaw was a little boring but normally it is with these dishes. Also we were sitting outside and surprising it wasn't hot at all.

After my second time here in the last two months, it's ready for a review! FOOD: Appetizers included the poblano queso & chips, pretzel bites and the salmon flatbread. All were good & appealed to everyone at the table. My entree today was the Monte Cristo flatbread. It was outstanding! My daughter had the Woodsman flatbread & it was good too. ATMOSPHERE: Casual, laid back. Good place for a date, business lunch and even to bring the kids. They have a fire pit and a deck, but both times, the weather wasn't cooperating! SERVICE: This is where they shine. From the hostess, wait staff, bartenders to bussers--they all give off the vibe they are happy to be there. How refreshing! TIPS: They are known (for good reason) for their hand-crafted beers. Over 20 to choose from & the guys at the bar are more than happy to help you find one you'll love. Last, save room and order the Brownie Bar Sundae. One served the table!

Union Bear is always a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner and sitting on the patio (when it isn't blazing hot outside) is the best. A great place to socialize with coworkers and friends. I have gone multiple times with different people and we always find food we enjoy! And if you can't tell by my photos... I love the Bacon Brussels!

I cannot say enough good things about Union Bear. The vibes, the atmosphere, the service, the food, give me it all. There's just so many things on the menu that I personally love. The burgers, charcuterie board, pretzel bites, sandwiches, cocktails, and so much more. Not to mention their patio is amazing when the weather wants to be nice.

We came here to pre game for my husband birthday before we went to the Puttery. The place is Absolutely Stunnin! We sat at the bar and the place was very handsomely designed and we loved the vibes. We arrived a few minutes after they opened. Our bartender was quick to greet us and told us to let her know if we had any questions. We ordered a total of 4 beers and enjoyed every single one of them. Wish there was another location near HEB.

I tried Union Bear for Happy Hour for the first time and really enjoyed my experience. Solid 4/5 place. The sweet & spicy shrimp was pretty good, but it could have been a tad bit crispier. The boss hog flatbread was soooooo goood. Definitely would recommend that you order it! The fries were crispy and well seasoned. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was my Moscow Mule... but after all, they are a brewery. I also really appreciated the service. I sat at a table at the bar and my server was really great. It was a nice crowd there as well. Try it out!

Service is always excellent and even when I give them a difficult order they get it right. Their burgers and tacos are da best. Watch out on that pasta though IT's SPICY! We love their coast IPA's, any of them! It can get a bit loud, but it's big place and has a lovely backyard

My parents stay at the Hilton next door a few times a year. We come meet up and eat here when they do. Love the location and the atmosphere but the food is always disappointing. Great atmosphere but we never leave talking about how good the food was. Sandwiches on dried up bread that wasn't even edible. Couldn't break the roll with your hands. Tacos with no flavor. Flatbread pizza just so so. If you want to meet for drinks and visit, this is a great spot. If you're a foodie and hoping for something great to eat, keep looking.

Love this place!! The whole complex has such a cool vibe, always lots of seating and great people watching. We went out Saturday night and there was no wait. My chicken sandwich was yum and hot, just like the fries which I am a stickler about. My shotty has a turkey club and it looked good as well. Our waitress, a tall 25ish year old beautiful black woman was awesome and super friendly. This place would be great for a first date.... outside seating and fire pits. They have kid play areas out of the way that is genius. Will definitely be back!!!

This place was amazing!! The beer was delicious, and the fresh pork rinds and jerky appetizers were a huge hit for the whole table! Would 100% go back when I'm there again for business.

UPDATE: they must have seen my review and kindly reached out about the appetizer mistake. I will be back and really appreciate the kindness! I stopped here on my way home to order To-Go food. The host was super kind and helpful. She took my order and we asked to get everything on the side their French fries appetizer. I watched her type "EVERYTHING ON THE SIDE!" When sending the item to the kitchen. And it was listen on my recipe. I wanted it this way so reheating it in a few hours would be a better process. I trusted the kitchen would read instructions but they did not so now my fries are very soggy and not reheating properly.

It's a Friday night, the vibe is cool and relaxed. Great place to stop for happy hour! The drinks are strong and the food is fantastic (the Boss Hog Flatbread & Union Burger). The service is impeccable (Maddie made me a great grapefruit martini) and the managers are kind and knowledgeable (ask for Griffin). Give Union Bear a shot, you won't be disappointed!

Great atmosphere with a ton of adult beverage options! Very good service from bartender David. Didn't eat but the food we did see looked tasty.

Visited Union Bear last night great patio setting not too noisy and a beautiful evening. We started with the pretzel bites or should I say more of a garlic knot very good just not what I was expecting the beer cheese and mustard were very good. I had the Rueben minus the sauce and a side of tomato bisque both very good and large portions. Our server did a great job! All in all a solid evening definitely worth the visit
