Always love this place, I wish they would open one up on the other side of the canal because I would come so much more often. Food is always amazing. Mac and cheese is top tier.

The burger portions are big enough for sharing! We liked the 3 burgers we ordered for our table of 5. The Southwest burger was the least favorite, the BCD was the mid-winner, and the black and blue was a huge hit. With 2 Stellas, 3 waters, and an Oreo milkshake, our bill was $90 before tax and tip. Our service was okay, but not spectacular.

To begin with the entrance looks fancy with outdoor dining as an option! The place looks clean and has thick wooden tables and chairs. As for the food, one of the best burgers and fries I’ve had! (Asked for a Union Burger medium well with Fries✨try it✨) The nachos were HUGE and tasty. (Good for about 2-3 people). It’s a nice place to be with friends and family.

After much anticipation, this Memorial Day Weekend, I had the opportunity to dine at Union Burger Bar in Southampton, NY. Upon arriving, I immediately noticed the space’s warm and hospitable feel, hosting customers of all ages seeking good traditional American cuisine. I ended up getting the Health Nut Salad with shrimp (Arguably a sin at a restaurant notorious for their burgers), and I was extremely impressed. The service was fast, the shrimp was fresh, and amid the Memorial Day bustle, I still found the staff extremely accommodating and attentive. The menu offered a range of specialty burgers, sandwiches, sides, and appetizers to pair with hearty milkshakes or alcoholic beverages. The restaurant was relatively full, with clientele sitting at the bar, indoor seating, and outdoor tables. All sitting areas comply with COVID protocol, as servers wore masks and plastic dividers separated tables capable of hosting bigger parties or more intimate gatherings. By the end, I didn’t feel rushed to leave. When I got my bill, I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable the dinner was, considering the generous portion and the price of comparable restaurants. Given the quality of food and service, I would highly recommend Union Burger Bar and am inclined to believe other establishments owned by the same owners (Union Sushi and Steakhouse and Southampton Social Club) would offer a similarly enjoyable experience. Whether you’re a seasoned local or a weekend traveler, this place is one to check off of your foodie bucket list this summer

Ordered the kids chicken fingers, beyond burger, and coop Chicken sandwich. All of which were very good. Always happy to find a place with vegan options. The chicken sandwich had a spicy mayo on it with a bit of zing. Chicken was of high quality. Our server was also incredibly nice and always around if we needed something.

What a burger omg. Best burger I've ever had. Place is pretty nice, they do karaokes every week which is pretty cool + the ambiance is great.

The manager needs to educate his staff and himself on what a service animal is. My mother who is blind came with us to try to eat here with her guide dog. The hostess then asked for a license? That actually doesn't exist. And it's illegal to ask for a license of a service dog. The only thing that can be asked is if it's a service animal for a disability and what service does it provide. Do better, use google..

Yes definitely a crowd pleaser! Always great friendly staff. Build your great burgers & fries, cottage fries, onion rings. You can eat very healthy here too! Best veggie burger, try the generous lettuce wrap instead of bun? Excellent sushi at reasonable prices (Not Hamptons prices!) We loved Wednesday Trivia Nights (free, big fun crowds), enjoyed several lunches on the outdoor area with our little dog always welcomed, also porch and indoor meals.

This is my third time coming here, and I was VERY happy! My first two experiences were terrible, service wise. We would sit and wait for a waiter for about 15 min, food took long to come and would never see the waiter again or it would take long for the check. This time i was pleasantly surprised, maybe because it was just us and two other tables?? waiter came rather quickly, was attentive, food was out ready and tasted delicious. Hope today wasn't a fluke and I continue to have good experiences here.

The sushi menu offers multiple choices, and the ingredients we ordered for the sushi rolls are fresh and delicious. Hamburger is one of the signature features of Union Burger, consisting of four small burgers strung together, making it very easy for multiple people to share. The meat is tender and juicy, paired with carefully selected ingredients, and has a unique taste and taste. Finally, we tasted their chocolate brownies as a dessert, with a rich, delicious, and intoxicating chocolate flavor, paired with a spoonful of smooth ice cream, making it the perfect dessert to enjoy.

Food was pleasantly surprising. I came here for some small bites in the afternoon. The union nachos are incredible and such a bang for your buck. The mozzarella, not so much. Some of the pieces didnt even have any cheese in it, which sucks considering it was $11 for 5 of them. It seems like the cheese melted out of the breading through a hole.

This could be a great place. The food is good, but the size of the meat patty in the sliders was offensive. $18 for maybe 1/8 pound of meat. Salad was good and so were the drinks.

When you hit a "burger joint", you're either looking for convenience or the satisfying of a very niche craving! Burger, fries, drink and done. Right? Not the case at Union Burger Bar as my dining experience at Union, not only had the convenience and craving part covered, it was all of that and a bag of chips (or a healthy portion of home cut fries as it were!) -it exceeded expectations. We enjoyed some very special burgers prepared exactly as we had ordered. My black and bleu burger was juicy, and topped with strips of crisp bacon, all ingredients tasted in every bite which I for one, feel is key! Some good old-fashioned thick shakes, served to us with extra milkshake in a retroesque metal canister, was a fun nod to shakes and malts had in my childhood--and what a treat it was! The waitstaff was attentive and the space is delightful, with nice jazz music playing in the background which enhanced the experience.(sunny- you smiled at me and really really eased the pain ) Highly recommended!

I decided to try this place with a co-worker for a burger after work on Wednesday 7/17/24. It looked like a decent spot and was located in a decent area. As we sat at the bar for our dinner we were somewhat surprised at how slow the bar area was but it looked pretty cool so we decided to stay. After sitting for some quite some time, we were greeted by a gentleman that provided the most horrible customer service that I have received in quite some time. This gentleman seemed absolutely careless and it wasn't directed solely to us. I suppose he was having a bad day. It was very obvious. Was not checked on throughout our entire meal. The was no offer for a second beer let alone a glass of water. And, what struck me the worst was the complete disregard I received when I said my food was cold. After requesting a fresh order of fries and onion rings, I received a disgusted facial expression only to return back to me with a cup of fries that were apparently too warm to carry. So warm in fact, that this gentleman dropped them on my plate and verbally announced how hot they must have been by crying out the word "ow!" After he walked away I asked the other bartender who would receive the tip for this dinner. I truly didn't not feel he deserved a single penny. Will not be trying this restaurant again. The fried chicken sandwich was overcooked but tasted good. Especially after asking for the side of buffalo sauce I asked for (even after the eye roll I received for daring to ask for a side of sauce)

Loved the loaded burger and delicious, fries. Also great sushi rolls. Someone next time is licked her Poke Ball. The chocolate finale is worth the calories.

Decent bar and good service. Uninspiring regular food. I recommend the Fried Chicken bowl. Excellent selection of burgers with vegan options too : an impossible burger and a Vegan burger. Magi Mahi tacos are great too.

The server had bottom braces and was a dick. So inconvenienced for no reason. He automatically tacked 20%. I guess why bother being nice if yoh get automatic gratuity. Food is fine. The runner was nice.

Trivia night was a blast (Wednesdays) albeit we joined quite late and came in last place. Highly recommend the skirt steak tacos. They are the best tacos in the Hamptons, in my opinion. Double tortilla, stuffed with steak, and the perfect amount of sauce. Our server came to take our orders fast and they barely left us waiting before bringing the appetizers.

I'm actually not a person who enjoys eating hamburgers, as I find them to be a backyard, grilling activity Recently, while heading back to New York City from East Hampton, we found ourselves to be hungry, but not wanting to have a dining experience as time was of the essence We thought , " what about a burger and some fries, that we can eat on her lap on the way home from New York in the car" So we googled the best burger in the Southampton area, up came this establishment I was afraid to order online for fear that would take forever, so we went directly to the front door, asked a very lively and polite hostess, if we could place an order to go. She politely informed us that it might be faster for us to sit at the bar Since take out it's not their specialty. She brought us to the bar and she even spoke to the bartender named Ross, that we were on a schedule as we watched Ross make some seriously beautiful cocktails We simply ordered two burgers with cheddar, cheese and fries, I mean how simple is that? My expectations were low, but I must say this place blew me away. I me add n how could a burger taste do dam good? I learners that they use organic beef from the Nieman ranch in Colorado The burgers came out quickly within 15 minutes, steaming, hot, on a perfectly toasted, brioche, and fries that was so crunchy you could cry 20 minutes and $55 later, we left super happy and very pleasantly surprised that this place would satisfy us much as we needed I found all the staff that worked there to be extremely polite, the food to be exceptional, and I understand even have sushi there, which I haven't tried That said, I think we'll be back !

Friendly service. Table was sticky, food was disappointing. Fries we're saturated in salt, inedible. (And I like salt). Ordered a wedge salad and it was not a wedge and was slimy. Disappointing.

As soon as we arrived we should have turned around and left. Hostess was on the phone and was too bothered to even look up to let us know that she'll "be with us in a second". After a couple of minutes of being ignored, we decided to sit down our elves. Menus obviously arrived late (the hostess was probably disgruntled. Ordered burgers. Inedible. Super salty. They probably want you to order more drinks, but they even loaded my 2 year old son's burger with salt (obviously he didn't like it. Not the fries. Not the old and frozen burger) Ordered beer. Past expiration dates Plates were dirty Glasses dirty Waiting staff was nowhere to be seen The place was empty. The bar tender came to take our order, even tough there where a couple of waiters, it was the bar tender who stopped by. Very charismatic. Don't know his name though. About the only good thing about this place Apologized about ten times because of all these issues we kept having

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The service and ambiance of this establishment was horrendous! Firstly, a group of friends and I dined at a restaurant where we were told that we had "access to a party". Once we arrived at the "party", it was nothing more than a college bar. We moved to the other side of the bar that was more quiet. That's where the REAL problem started. The bartender was RUDE, RACIST, and DEMEANING. Don't come here.

We loved the idea of creating our own burgers! Since we are not fans of big large patty, we opted out for 5oz veg. burgers. Fries were good and so the beer. 3.5*

The food is decent, when they actually get orders correct. If you have a food allergy ESPECIALLY CELIAC, DO NOT GO HERE. Front staff cares about allergies but time and time again (both to go and in house) the back of the house/kitchen cooks, don't care about notes or put much consideration into cross contaminated. Which causes wasted time/reorders or "oh I'm sorry if you come back I'll have a new one ready." It's not, it always gets bumped to lower priority even though it's their mistake. Almost every thing is made with the same frier so for severe allergies this place is a no go, sure they have "gluten free" things but I've had reactions from cross contamination from items I've been assured were going to be ok. If you plan on going you have to be OBNOXIOUSLY careful before the hint is taken. Also if you Uber eats, forget about getting the correct items or the full order, as a former frequent guest I am sad at the lack of care they are showing.

Bacon cheese burger was so good I ordered a second one to take home for lunch it was like butter I felt like the meat melted in my mouth next time I will bring my Dad He thinks his burgers are the best time to show him how a real burger tastes

A large establishment and plenty of places to sit outside or even on a covered porch, yet still outside. The inside is quite large too. If you are craving a burger, this is the place to go! The waitress was a little off, it was almost comical. She asked if we wanted another beer after we had taken maybe 3 sips of our original beer. She came over twice asking if we knew what we wanted. The first time she asked us, we had JUST sat down. She came over midway thru our meal to ask how it was and that's usually when people ask "would you like another drink" and my husband would have said yes at that point but she didn't ask. As I'm still chewing but my plate is mostly empty she asked if she could take it, I said no I'm not done yet. That is a major pet peeve of mine. If I am chewing then DON'T take my plate! It's ok for my plate to sit in front of me for a few minutes after I'm done.

Our first at the restaurant dining experience in 4 months! During this COVID-19 Phased Reopening, how much do we forgive when writing a review? Wait service in the Hamptons in the summer already is working with modified expectations. Social distancing on the lawn: no problem. We were the first clients of the morning, so it is not like the kitchen or staff was overwhelmed yet. Everything was prepared excellently. The burgers were cooked to perfection. The first French fries in 4 months were tasty. The fried pickles were hot from the fryer and the perfect balance of vegetable/vinegar/breading. The shake was definitely photo-worthy. Then there were the problems. One of the draft beers was not available - has happened a hundred times. The specified brioche bun came out as a pretzel bun. The 'appetizer' order of fried pickles arriving 10 minutes after the burgers - cold burgers - hot pickles. The shake arriving another 10 minutes after that - did they think it was dessert? Not understanding basic if/then/else logic - unforgivable. "IF you can make the ($14) Cookie Monster shake with chocolate ice cream, then I want that. Otherwise, I want the plain ($8) chocolate shake." Need I tell you what came to the table? The $14 vanilla version; when asked about it the server just answered "yes." Union Burger Bar might be in the process of rebranding as well. Was it not "Union Cantina" before "Union Burger Bar" and the new logos are "Union @Bowden Square - Steak and Sushi" : that cannot help. As I started by saying, service is never expected to be professional during the summer. During this Phased Reopening, restaurants are hit hard from all sides - lack of labor, lack of usable capacity, and lack of customers lead the list, but the service that does exist needs to be moderately competent if they expect to keep the few customers they have.

I can't comment on the service of this place. The food however was subpar. When I tell you just save your money and go to Burger King. There is absolutely no reason the food cost that much. Definitely not for locals.

I can't count how many times I have been to Union Burger Bar. It is my "go to" place for good food, service and a nice relaxing (Hampton light) experience. Yes, it is a burger bar, but they do it well. Many different burger options (and similar salads, chicken, etc) , as well as cocktails, milkshakes, etc. but I always get the same thing because it is so good. Sometimes people leave it a mess and it takes a while to clean up when they are busy, but that is the only complaint I can think of.

Yummy burgers! The peanut butter milkshake is a must have. Really friendly staff. Would love to come back in the Summer season!

I am always in the mood for a good burger at union cantina, great presentation, good multi grane bread and polite bartender but .... Today, 3 pm i order 8 oz burger, medium rare multigrain ban and fr, fried Barman nice as usual, here is the result: Burger totally overcook, burned on the outside, just because modern cooks do not know not to press the meat from the top, taking out all the juice! French fried soft and undercook Is getting harder and harder to get professional staff in the hamptons , food was better 25 years ago any were! I still like Union Cantina but consistency is the key of success!!!

I went with my 14 year old son and we had an amazing time. Food was great and the staff served us delicious food. We ordered the Cheeseburger which was yummy, my son ordered the sushi rolls that were nicely presented and he loved them. We also ordered the steak tacos that had great flavor and of course we wrapped it up with dessert. A nice chocolate cake with ice cream which he devoured in one minute. It's a great restaurant for locals and visitors, very family friendly, cozy and amazing food.

Presentation is everything, (well that's how it is on their website. Meaning, looks great however once you receive it by ordering delivery it does not look edible. The bun looks dry, the lettuce is thrown on it....etc! I want say anything things else....my comment says enough. Want order again for that price you expect to get what you see.

I have eaten here and had a great burger. Recently tried the 8 piece chicken satchel with fries to go. Chicken was not butchered well. There were many bone fragments amongst the breading. The fries were terrible and soggy. Ordered on line and was given a time to arrive and it obviously had been sitting there for a while. They should have a better pick up estimate so food isn't old and soggy. Disappointing.

Forgot about my coke and never came back after taking our order... burger was not good... not very hot when it come out. Then she tried to charge 20% Large Party Service Charge for a party of three and when we asked she was weird about it.

They just don't get it. I want to like this place, I really do, but it is just a disappointment every time we come. The food is completely underwhelming, and the service continues to be slow and torturous. No vision, nothing good enough to keep you coming back and no interest to improve. It's just a blah of a place.

First time trying this place today. Foods really good, just wish they listened when you request things off specific food items. I asked for no chipotle aioli in my Hilt sandwich and when it came it was loaded with sauce. Same with no jalapeños with our app, still had it when it came out.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Cool vibe and love the indoor and outdoor seating options. I got the veggie burger which was delicious, highly recommend it! My fiancé got the southwest burger which was equally delicious. You get Hefty portions with your meal. Make sure to get a side of the chipotle aioli! Also shoutout to our waitress Sara who was really friendly and helpful! Will def come back if we are in the area

Ok, have been here before and enjoyed it but reading the 3 star reviews was a turn off. Decided to go back despite the reviews and extremely glad we did. Everything was wonderful. Bridget was perfect. She was seated with several tables at once when we arrived and handled them all like a pro. And, it only got better. Great food, great service, friendly atmosphere. Absolutely wonderful. Thank you Union Burger Bar for an unexpected wonderful evening.

The nachos are insane you can share with up to four people highly recommend it and the burger Awesome as well

These guys are one of the few places available on Ubereats out here, so i have gotten from them quite a bit. The burgers are great, and the fries, while they do get soggy in transit, are yummy. It's a sloppy meal, but the Mac Attack burger is to die for.

If you're looking for a tasty burger this is your place. I went to Union Burger Bar in Southhampton, NY. The environment is so welcoming and friendly. The staff was exceptional and the food flowed out of the kitchen relatively fast. They have various food options to cater to customer preferences. I went with The CBD Burger, the meat was tender and tasty and the toppings made each bite immaculate.

Polite staff. Fried chicken bowl was so good. Black and Blue burger was amazing too! Interior hasnt changed in YEARS, but they have a section designated for sushi and steak. The owner says he serves high end meat. Lunch was good!! Give it a try

Nooooooooo. Just no!! Used to hang at the bar here on the regular when it was Union Cantina. More for the crowd than the food, admittedly. This is def the type of place you go for the vibes and not to eat good. I decided to order for pick up directly through the restaurant instead of delivery through GrubHub because I like to know that my money is going to the business and its employees and not to third party delivery services. I ordered on the phone, drove myself over there and picked up and tipped 20% on take out cause it's tough times right now. I got an impossible burger with cheese, an 8oz burger with cheese and bacon, a side of fries, and a side of onion rings. The total was $40.08, which would have been totally fine if the food was good, but.......... Driving home, I'm wondering, why does my car smell like PB&J? Genuinely confused. Got home. Tried the food. The impossible burger straight up tastes like a PEANUT! Weird af! I've had the impossible burger at quite a few other places and never felt it tasted like a peanut until today. It could have been an accident, but I def am not going to order it again to find out. My boyfriend said his burger tasted good but halfway through, he pulls the tomato out of the burger, and there's still a sticker on it. Pic to follow! Highly doubt this produce was ever washed, let alone even rinsed, when it made it all the way to the plate, sliced, with the sticker still attached. Normally it wouldn't be THAT big of a deal to me (it would be a minor deal for sure, my fellow germaphobes understand ) but considering the pandemic, I think everyone should be taking extra precautions to be as sanitary as humanly possible right now. Only makes me wonder how they treat/handle the rest of the food I will not come here for food again. If/when they are permitted to be open to the public, I may return for live music and a drink or something. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because when they were allowed to be open to the public, the bartenders were awesome and gave consistently great service, and it was a fun place to hang out.

Stopped for lunch with my husband and was unfortunately met with unfriendly staff, we were never checked on and our food was luke-warm. Of all of the restaurants we've eaten at in the Hamptons & on the East End, the staff at the Burger Bar felt the most pretentious & unwelcoming. The burgers weren't bad, but nothing to write home about, and the fries were just done enough. As we were walking out, we passed about 6 tables that needed to be completely bussed & cleaned, and there were only about 5 or 6 tables being used at the time.

The 6 ounce burger with blue cheese was about as bland as can be. Whatever you do, don't order it on an English muffin. It will be soft and chewy. Fries are limp. The house salad seemed like it just came from a supermarket plastic bag. And the servers appear to be quite distracted. I keep trying to find a good thing say about this place but am unable to. It's iteration as Mexican was a failure. No change in its present form.

Decent food. Would definitely recommend this place for lunch or early dinner. There is a nice outdoor space. Not sure why yelp rating is so low, I was even thinking to go there again today. We had a turkey burger and salad. Both were delicious.

We had a special event at Union Burger Bar on February 24. Ian Duke and his team produced a flawless event in every way--planning, service, food, arranging the room, audio/visual, etc. There is a warmth from his team that inspired trust, and we were so pleased with everything. Highly, highly recommend.
