Where To Eat & Drink With Your Dog

"If you're looking for somewhere to eat with several of your Great Danes, try the huge backyard at Union Pizza Works. We really like the Neapolitan pies here, specifically the one that’s built like a sandwich with melted mozzarella, arugula, and prosciutto. This Bushwick pizza spot also works well for an outdoor birthday party, whether its for your or your canine." - team infatuation

15 Restaurants For A Big Group Dinner Outside In NYC

"Operating out of a converted warehouse in Bushwick, Union Pizza Works has a menu of Neapolitan pies and a big outdoor patio full of picnic tables. It's a great option for a casual group hang when you don't want to spend more than $40 per person, and it's easy to make a reservation for a group of 10 people online. Try the focaccia pizza, which is built like a sandwich and stuffed with mozzarella and 24-month cured prosciutto di parma. For $5 extra, you can get your crust gluten-free." - hannah albertine, neha talreja, bryan kim

Union Pizza Works Review - Bushwick - New York - The Infatuation

"Union Pizza Works is a neighborhood Neopolitan pizza place in the part of Bushwick where people go on graffiti tours. The space itself is massive, with a front patio area that would be perfectly appropriate for a down-to-earth wedding photoshoot or just a nice Thursday night with your dog and a 12-inch pizza. The pies here are all thin, and have a floppy chewy crust. We especially like the focaccia pizza with 24-month cured prosciutto di parma, melted mozzarella, and arugula. It’s built like a sandwich (essentially two pizzas on top of each other) and we think more pizza places should follow their lead. We’d also suggest supplementing your pizza with a salad or an excellent $16 bowl of mussels, but make sure to stay clear of the Napoli pie with capers and anchovies - it’s way too salty. photo credit: Alex Staniloff" - Hannah Albertine

We went and it was kind of a dinner and a show night. It was really good. I forgot to take pictures of the food 😂 ... We had Diavola Pizza, Burrata and Prosciutto Calzone (with cheese and arugula). The food was really good. Definitely a place to come back, especially with a show. The flamenco dancer was just amazing

Google
One of our favorite restaurants in NYC. It's good. Take a lyft from midtown Manhattan good. My wife loves the 4 cheese pizza. They didn't have it today, we took the cacio e pepe. It was good. The crust is amazing - much better than eataly, at the very least. I love the cacio e pepe pasta and they made it for me with a smile. I can't describe how good this is. I've had it in several places and countries, and I have to adjust it. This one... Is just perfect. It's all that you want. Bite after bite of perfection. And I also have to call out their very famous Panacotta. My god. It is absolute heaven. You think you've had good desserts, but as you taste the blackberry and Panacotta together, you realize this is riding on an angel's wings. What a jewel of a restaurant. They put Manhattan to shame.

Google
I’ve been coming here for years and it’s still the best pizza I’ve had in Bushwick. The atmosphere, the wine, the staff and of course… the pizza! It’s consistently delicious and satisfying. Most of all, I never feel that sluggish or guilty feeling after having a pizza or pasta here. The ingredients taste and feel different— highly recommend!

Google
Amazing pizza for sure! We had calamari as well which was ok. We didn’t have a reservation, we walked in and we were able to be seated right away. There is no AC indoors as I could observe.

Google
The absolute best pizza in all of Brooklyn!! Came for the first time with my girlfriend and had the most amazing experience, with a great selection of wine and suggestions from the owner Rick. I will always come back!

Google
Three lovely recent Italian immigrants who opened a restaurant. They know how to make you feel home and special. Service is excellent and the crusty and thin pizza pie is real artisanal Italian made, not as other American Italian wanna pizza places...

Google
I had the pesto pizza. I thought it said something about roasted tomatoes in the description. There was tomatoes on the pizza but I don’t think they were roasted before they were put on the pizza. I would have just called that tomatoes. Anyway tomato or tomato. The pizza was good and the space was really nice. I kinda wished it was a bit busier.

Yelp
Very okay wood fired pizzas and shareable sides in Bushwick. The ambience is modern/industrial, with a few cozy touches. It was very cold inside, and I definitely saw a roach climbing the wall. But, the staff were nice, and they had no trouble seating my group of 8 immediately, with no reservation. The pizzas were good; certainly an LA 9, but an NYC 5. The thin, wood fired crusts lacked flavor, and the toppings were mediocre in quality. The roasted cauliflower, salads, and Spaghetti alla Puttanesca were all tasty but not memorable. The best dish overall was the Gnocchi alla Sorrentina. If you find yourself here, order this. The gnocchi are homemade, tender clouds, and they did not skimp on the smoky scamorza affimicata cheese. 10/10. The Tiramisu and Panna Cotta were passable. If you want a sweet treat, get the affogato; whatever ice cream they use is great.

Yelp
Things we loved- the gnocco fritto appetizer, the pasta dish we got, and the ambiance. The gnocco fritto fried bread was delicious, airy, and didn't taste so fried that you felt you gained 10 pounds. The pasta dish we ordered that I can't remember the name of and don't have a picture since we ate it so quickly, was one of my top 5 favorite pasta dish I've ever eaten. It came with a white cream sauce, bacon, and rigatoni, and it was so rich and flavorful I could literally eat it every day. I wish I remembered the name of the dish! The restaurant itself was also casual and industrial, and we loved the look of the big windows from the inside to the outside. We got 2 types of pizza, which were both good but the one with red onions had waaaaaay too many onions. We were picking them off at the end. We also had trouble with the cocktails- we ordered lemon drops and espresso martinis throughout dinner and both tasted really off. The lemon drop was just vodka with a lemon twist because I don't think the waitress knew what we were asking for and didn't clarify. It was pretty hard to drink. Next time we come we'll probably stick with beers or listed cocktails!

Yelp
For years, Union Pizza Works lurked in my bookmarks and mental rolodex of "places to try" though it was never intriguing enough to rise to the top or go out of my way for. Finally I found myself nearby for a show at Company XIV, so my curiosity finally led me to this modest pizza restaurant. With a focused menu of straightforward pies absent of any inventive toppings, I played it safe with a classic margherita pie. While the smoky char of the wood fired oven came through, the pizza lacked the sweet acidic tomato sauce and herbal notes I've come to enjoy from good pizza. The sauce tasted one-dimensional, nearly flavorless, prompting me to shake chili flakes onto it in an effort to jazz it up. Our kale salad was equally plain, and I know it's just a salad but there are so many ways to make it more exciting. My mezcalita was probably the best thing I had at this restaurant. My intuition was right for holding out years to go to this place. This place remains lost in the sauce.

Yelp
Loved the ambiance and the owner is freaking awesome, so kind. I had the peach salad special, so well-balanced and tasty. I scarfed it! I also had the margherita pizza... I thought it was good not great. Perhaps a bit undersalted, I would've loved some more salt, some more basil. It felt rude to ask a pizza master for salt so I scarfed it down without salt but nonetheless it was good and I enjoyed the texture of the crust. I'll come back, eager to try the pasta!

Yelp
Pros: Shared a delicious pizza with the hubby and we were happy with the quality and taste, but the start for me was the soup! Service was fast, ambience was chill. Cons: None

Yelp
If I can give this restaurant no star, I would. Small order of calamari, personal size pizza and sparkling water came out to $49. For the record, I didn't choose this place. I wanted to go to Roberta's. My friend read rave reviews on Google. The wait to get a pizza was 40 minutes. The size of it was small, my friend had to get a slice from Artichoke afterward. The waiter felt bad for the service. He gave me back the tip I left him.

Yelp
Amazing pizza! Went here with a friend before hitting a show at the Knockdown Center. The service is knowledgeable, quick, and friendly. The pizza is A+, but the gem salad stole the show! Totally going to rock this joint again!

Yelp
Shared a wonderful dinner with friends at Union Pizza Works before a night out! It's the perfect spot for a delicious, well-priced meal. Atmosphere: chill and fun! Service: perfectly attentive. The staff explained the specials and menu items to us and were always ready to refill our drinks! I believe one of the managers/servers was Italian based on his accent, which is always a great sign! Food: excellent pizza! We ordered the special of the day which was AMAZING! We also ordered a margarita with prosciutto which was bellisimo! I could have had a whole one to myself We had the gem salad as well which was made exactly how I like it. Finally, we had some really great (and affordable!) cocktails and glasses of Prosecco.

Yelp
Driving around the city for work and figured I'd find a pizza spot that I wasn't familiar with. Union Pizza Works was a pleasant surprise and I really enjoyed their vibe, their food, and their service. Great location and the space has ample area for bodies to indulge in their food and drinks. I am a big fan of neapoliton style pizza from beautiful ovens such as the one that they have on site so their pizza is definitely a 7+ for me but my only hesitation on a higher rating is their dough, while really good, was not delicate enough for me. If you're aware of Don Antonio's in HK then you'll understand what I'm referring to. Not putting anything negative out there about this spot but as an overanalyzing lover of light fluffy delicately simple Neapolitan pies, this place isn't quite there on that level but everything else was on point. This was a work lunch so I didn't get to indulge in their bar menu but I'm going to make an educated guess that in a neighborhood like this, you won't be disappointed so like as you're not an annoying entitled bro. Bravo Union Pizza Works!!!

Yelp
A cool and unique pizza spot. Very artsy and interesting to look at. It's almost like a blank canvass with beautiful plants and abstract art. Today we got the sausage pizza. It was delicious. It almost tasted like an extra buttery English muffin with mozerella and sausage and Swiss charred. My son loved the seafood pasta special. Their Mirinara has the Italian chefs kiss. All staff are nice and great vibes. Cappuccino was a work of art an quality expresso
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute atmosphere!! Vibes were great for a chill night with friends or for a date night. staff was v friendly and easy going. the cacio e pepe was delicious had amazing seasoning and taste! the vegetarian pizza was a random mix of veggies which wasn't my fave but was yum non the less.

Yelp
Very cool space with a mini open area that closed into the restaurant itself. It was popping on a Saturday night. The food was great overall and I liked the creaminess of the gnocchi (they were a bit on the tiny side, compared to what I know). The vegana pizza was very nice and had some of my favorite toppings, especially the brussel sprouts! It did get progressively louder throughout the restaurant as it got later into the night, to the point where most of my party could not clearly hear one another. Despite the positives of the food, I could not help but notice the serving sizes of all the dishes the others ordered were also on the smaller scale. I only knew since a few friends with relatively smaller appetites finished their food and were still hungry.

Yelp
We headed over to Union Pizza Works which is a 20 minute walk from our place. we arrived a little before 6:30pm and it was pretty full already. We were able to get seated at once, but it was bar seating. There were a lot of families celebrating children's birthday. I didn't realized how family friendly it was. They had an Italian wood burning oven which was very cool. We decided to order the Bushwick Collective which has Italian sausage and broccoli rabe. We also ordered the little gem and the pasta ragu. Everything came out pretty quickly. The salad and pizza came out first. The pizza reminded me of pizza in Italy. Fresh and the dough was great. However, I felt that it lacked flavor. The pasta was pretty good. I liked the fresh pasta, but similar to the pizza, it was pretty bland in flavor. Overall, the presentation was great, I just wish there was more flavor.
google avatar

Katherine S.

Yelp
Walked in with no reservation and sat outside. They do have a lot of seating. The Gluten free crust was very good. It was thin but tasty. The pizza it's self was to die for. If I were alone, I would have eaten the whole thing. The drinks were average more on the lighter side with the alcohol. Tasted more like juice.
google avatar

Maria R.

Yelp
Omg... we went here because we were craving pizza. We got the Gnoco Fritto for an appetizer and the selection was delicious! We ordered pizzas and both were so tasty! We were a bit glutenous and ordered the cacio e pepe and the pasta was so fresh, the flavor had so many layers and though we thought we would have to take it to go, it was soooo good we couldn't control ourselves. Service was also incredibly on point! Definitely recommend and will definitely return!
google avatar

Nick J.

Yelp
Really cool space and great ambiance! Plenty of seating options, both indoor and outdoor, and a nice bar area. Definitely would be a good space for events, and there are picnic benches in the back for larger groups. Service was speedy and our waitress was great and attentive. We ordered the cucumber avocado salad from their specials as a starter, and it was refreshing and light. The dressing was especially tasty, but it seemed like a lot of money ($16) for a pretty simple salad. For a main, we got the Salsiccia Pizza, which was great for sharing. The dough was fresh and perfectly baked, but the sauce could have been more flavorful. The tiramisu was our favorite, served in a mason jar and homemade. All in all it was a delicious meal, just felt a little too expensive for what we were getting. For us, it'll be a place to go for special occasions.

Yelp
Slow start to a beautiful afternoon. Ordered the Margherita, meatballs and a side of sauce. Very happy and very full. Bartender and staff are super friendly (and most are very Italian!). Nice and spacious as well as outdoor dining!

Yelp
Came here Saturday night on a whim with a party of 5 - called ahead and we were seated without any issues at the communal table by the firewood. Service was friendly and speedy, despite our server seemingly taking care of almost all the tables that night. Now onto the food - delicious and very fresh! We got a bunch of stuff including two pizzas and the seafood pasta special. We enjoyed everything, especially the pizza with the sweet sausage. Can't wait to go back, it seems like a fun, chill place to grab a casual bite with friends.
google avatar

Bre Y.

Yelp
I've eaten both in the restaurant and ordered delivery, both are quality options. The service in restaurant is friendly and fast, and delivery was to me within 30 minutes! The food is excellent, made with fresh quality ingredients! I love their margarita pizza, and their foccacia crudi e stracchino pizza (which is more like a sandwich, with two thin focaccia crust!). Their homemade pasta is perfectly al dente with a delicious ragu. Their desserts are also highly recommended, especially the chocolate mousse and the tiramisu!
google avatar

Meg L.

Yelp
Such a great place in an awesome location. There's so many restaurants to choose from but you can't go wrong with this one. It is a sister restaurant to Santa panza and the pizza here was good too. It tasted a little different from the brick oven but delicious nonetheless. I really loved the focaccia pizza (no tomato sauce). The outdoor atmosphere was very cute, located at the front and definitely covid safety measures were in place.
google avatar

Natalia R.

Yelp
I went here as part of my birthday celebration. The vibes were great and the food was good as well! I'm glad to have come across this spot in the neighborhood
google avatar

Essie L.

Yelp
This place is right next to The Rookery which was quite packed on a Saturday. The place by comparison was quite empty but it quickly filled up as well. It was easy to distance from other tables, and it felt safe. We were seated outside and so were all the other tables on this sunny Saturday. Had the house burger and a pizza. The burger was solid, asked for medium rare and it was just that. The pizza had a nice char and was good as well, though it was a little soggy in the middle, possibly because of the mushroom topping. It was still a good pizza. The pizza oven's very cute btw! Btw there's a $3 "service fee" automatically added to the check if you pay by card. Just pay by cash and it will be taken off.

Yelp
Fantastic pasta and pizza. Great vibe. Great staff. Cool crowd. Gorgeous decor. Yeah this place is very cool. For brunch. Lunch. Or dinner. You'll love it.

Yelp
LEGIT pizza in Bushwick. Don't sleep on Union Pizza Works. Great service, had a lovely chat with who I am guessing is the owner and his roots in Italy. Beautiful space, good for groups, or a date night. Pizza was very fresh and came out fast. Hot oil is great on the Margherita and I'm sure the rest of the pizza offerings. Homemade limoncello, which I was offered and it was delightful. Plenty of options for cocktails, beer (some local like Grimm and KCBC On the menu) and after dinner drinks. See you for dinner soon!
google avatar

Ian M.

Yelp
Yummy pizzas and salad, super friendly service, the food was out quick, fun music selection, interesting decor, not crowded. I'd be glad to come here again. We appreciated the gluten free options. Nice!
google avatar

Yelp
Vegan pizza with vegan cheese, broccoli rabe, truffle oil, and delicious little potato slices. I normally don't like "fancy" pizza but this was goood. Not sure if it was meant for sharing but i ate the whole thing. I hope they add additional vegan options.
google avatar

Yelp
Spacious pizzeria with a surprisingly ample amount of parking just up the block. We dined in on a Wednesday night and they weren't too busy. I had a couple glasses of wine including a Nebbiolo from Piemonte and a Barbera. Pretty nice variety of wines by the glass. For starters, we shared the wood fired cauliflower and one of their specials - the avocado salad. I'd highly recommend the avocado salad and would certainly advocate for it being a permanent fixture on their menu. Very light and refreshing dressing with fresh and lively ingredients. For our main course, we shared a pizza with speck and mushrooms. Nice crust. Slightly on the heavier side with a fair char. For dessert, I had the Tiramisu which was served in a glass jar. Cute presentation.
google avatar

Silaka C.

Yelp
Union Pizza Works is a great dine in option for good pizza in the neighborhood. Their menu has a good selection of apps, pizza and pasta, and the drinks are really good. One star off because it is a little pricey comparable to other spots in the neighborhood.
google avatar

Richard S.

Yelp
Great place to for you and a significant other, family, friend, or alone. I have had everything on the menu and it is all delicious. Spirits are on point too and the fact that I have gone here for a few years and the food quality has not changed is a big plus.
google avatar

Eva B.

Yelp
Perfect spot for outdoor seating and social distancing. The menu offers a lot of different pizzas with fun/interesting flavors and other traditional Italian dishes. Staff is friendly, service was a little slow but you can't really knock it as we're all getting used to this new "normal." Depending on how hungry you are, the pizzas can be shared as a lighter portion but they're just the right size for a personal pizza. Our party of 6 actually ordered one pizza per person and there wasn't even a crumb for leftovers. Prices are reasonable for everything, worth coming back!
google avatar

Toné S.

Yelp
Oh how disappointing. I really wanted to try this place as it was not too far from where we were going. We stopped in for a quick snack and to waste time. Unfortunately we were not able to sample any food items because the ovens were being worked on and as per the hostess she was "not sure" when it would be fixed.
google avatar

Nicole C.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here! Drinks were boozy, food was great! Particularly enjoyed the polenta & funghi, and the brussel sprouts! Both perfectly done! Pizzas were also great and even tasted great the next day :) looking forward to coming back! Will be trying more pizzas in the future!
google avatar

Libby B.

Yelp
Johnathan P is the worst manager at this pizza place. Had an awful experience with this person that I refuse to go back to this location. It's unfortunate as I do enjoy this place. Our order was messed up 3 x and when asked to just give us the bill since we realized our orders weren't put in correctly the manager gave us attitude and when given the bill there were several items on this bill that we had not ordered. It's unfortunate when a manager laughs and gives attitude when your addressing the issues. Completely terrible service.

Yelp
The calamari was absolutely amazing. The portion size was generous and very tasty! I would recommend for sure. The pizza was great too.
google avatar

Yelp
Ambience- there's both outside and inddor seating. Big and small groups can come because of their variety of table arrangements. Having the pizza oven in the open bt the back is really cool to see. Food- Solid spaghetti carbonara. Creamy and god portion size for the price. It is definitely filling enough for a lunch meal by itself. No sides or apps needed. I barely had enough room for dessert. Chocolate mousse- very creamyand light. Tastes like it was made with dark chocolate. Tiramisu- came in a cute cup. Props for presentation. The coffee taste is really strong and the star flavor of the dish. Panna cotta- this was my favorite dessert out of all of them! The flavor of the cream and blueberry or grape jam on top was fresh and clean. They did the dessert justice! Service- Top notch. Given that we were the first patrons at lunch hour, we were given water refills right away, plates cleared, and the owner even clarified if a dish had nuts in it for one of my friends with a nut allergy.

Yelp
Broooo are you kidding me?? This place was so freaking good! My gym had an anniversary party here a little while ago and the food was STELLAR. If you have an event you want to do, this place has got you covered. The food was awesome--especially the pizza--and the bartenders were pouring up some pretty solid drinks. There's also a ton of space inside with great lighting that's perfect for taking photos. Definitely recommend. Food's great, filling, and the price was good for how much we got! Definitely recommend for parties, events, or a date with a partner or friend.

Yelp
- Service was alright - My friend endorses the salami pizza, although I thought it was kind of salty - The pizza by itself was perfect for two people - I liked the outdoor space - drinks were good

Yelp
It was good. It wasn't great. We went out of our way to try it. If I was nearby, I'd definitely go again, but wouldn't make a trip out of it.

Yelp
Revisited Union Pizza Works for the first time in a long time! First time I had walked in on a whim with my partner when we lived in the area and we remembered having some yummy pizza so we thought why not check it out again years later. We're glad we did! We ordered the gnocco frito which came with two meats and some type of soft cheese.. sauce?? To be honest we weren't exactly sure what it was but it tasted delicious on the gnocco frito! We meant to ask the server but ultimately forgot. There were a few employees attending to us; one who took our order, another who brought the food out, another who cleared our plates. They all seemed pretty busy, if there was ever a moment that we were waiting it was because they were helping another customer or getting a check. Service didn't suffer! The pizza was crispy and delicious. It had a nice char on the crust and we finished every slice! We ordered the carafe of Rosé because they were out of the bottle and also got an after dinner spirit. The limoncello was refreshing and a nice way to end the meal. The prices are reasonable and food is tasty!

Yelp
Great service, food and drinks! I had the vegan pizza and it was delicious. Great place to come with friends and family.

Yelp
Eh. First, this is a cash only restaurant. Just a quick rant. In 2016, there should be NO reason for a restaurant with a full bar to be a cash only establishment. However, there is a shady-looking ATM next to the restaurant. Perhaps I am a hater or I just like to go against the grain buuuuut I do not get the hype with this place (and many other 4+ restaurants in the city). There was nothing too special about the pizza. True, the pizza is leaps and bounds better than most chain pizzerias. But, the best pizza is a bit of a stretch. I had the salsiccia pizza and I thought the pizza was decent but pretty average. The pizza itself was very soggy and pretty bland (I had to add quite a bit of salt to bring out any flavor). I even found my friend's pizza (the mushroom one) to be bland too. Perhaps the sauce was not seasoned during prep service. The pizzas are a decent size; two people could share a pie and be satisfied. The restaurant itself has a cool (or what some people think is cool Williamsburg/Bushwick vibe) with dark wood, pieces of firewood, string lighting, old chairs, and murals. If you can, go for the Outside seating as the music can be a little loud inside of the restaurant. The service is was good but the we never knew who our real waiter was. It seems that EVERY waiter participates in a table's service. That said, all of the guys were pretty awesome. I could revisit this place but I would not go out of my way or wait more than 10 minutes for a table here. I will say that there were some interesting cocktails, which I did not try, on the menu - so the cocktails may be a reason for me to return.

Yelp
Great pizza, less than stellar service. A friend and I came here late on a week night so there weren't many customers. We opted to sit at the bar and the bartender looked at us like she had something better to do before begrudgingly handing us menus. We ordered a 12" mushroom pizza, which came out in a reasonable amount of time and was quite good. When we asked for the bill it felt like we were bothering the bartender when really all staff was kind of just loitering around since we were two of six people in the restaurant.
google avatar

Francesca M.

Yelp
I love Union Pizza Works - they totally don't get enough hype for how good their pizza and pasta is. They serve really fresh Italian food with a super beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. I would recommend getting their Salame Piccante and Cacio e Pepe. It's a nice place for a date or dinner with friends.
google avatar

Mahsa T.

Yelp
Authentic Italian pizza - thin and crispy like they do it in Italy - with a slightly burnt crust. We shared the margarita and added prosciutto - very fresh ingredients and tasty. Great meatballs. Delicious panna cotta! Think I spied the owner/manger and one of the staff speaking Italian which would explain the very authentic food here. Friendly service, nice outdoor garden and seating. Cash only.

Took a ride to Bushwick, and we stopped at the Union Pizza Works, the decor, and the artwork, throughout the whole neighborhood, totally awesome, UPW's outside dining area, of picnic tables, and metal tables and folding chairs, pretty cool eating out there. Living in the area for the first part of my life, and seeing how it has turned out now, is really great. My friend and I, started with the Burrata, it was fresh, delicate, luscious cheese filling inside, a few slices of roasted peppers, and a little arugula, nice touch. It was very good. Then we shared the Calamari, nice portion, freshly fried, light batter coating, very good. Then we shared the Calamarata alla Trapanese, again nice sites portion, the pasta was fresh made, sauce was light and creamy, little toasted almonds and basil, finished off the dish perfectly. Everything was perfect, our waitress Lily, very friendly knew the menu.

Yelp
One of my favorite pizza places! Salami picante is our favorite, both their regular pizza is excellent but their gluten free pizza is incredible as it taste exactly like the regular dough version, maybe a tiny bit thinner but the taste and texture is the same, you would never notice it's gf. I've been coming here for years and the place is consistent and service is great and everyone is always so nice. I order takeout as well and they're pretty quick.

Yelp
Stopped by for the first time after passing by a million times and WOW. Handmade pizza which was amazing!! Great menu. Drink menu is great. Wish they had more beers but still a decent selection. The place itself is amazing. Low lit. Great vintage feel. They even had a wood burning fireplace which was a great touch. Also no wait. And they have a cute yard for warmer days (which I'm looking forward to coming back for) Would def be coming back here. Only wish they had a way to pay by card. (It's 2018, no place should be cash only in my opinion). Even though they have an ATM outside. I'm always iffy about putting my card into a street ATM

Yelp
This probably isn't the first place you'd imagine I'd eat, considering I'm lactose intolerant, but UPW is like waaaaay more than just pizza. I've been here before and had a fire burger so I knew it was a spot I could trust. Got there in time for brunch so I capitalized off of that and had the spaghetti de some ish I can't remember. This wasn't some basic spaghetti though. This joint had bacon AND eggs on it. My stomach was pleased with my bae-getti. It got a lil awkward when the bill came and the waiter tells me it's cash only, considering all I had was $3 and a Barnes & Nobles coupon. So my advice would be bring cash obviously, or go with a friend who looks at you pathetically as they cover you, like I did.
