Speakeasy with craft cocktails, small plates, and elephant decor

"An unmarked alley door takes you into this dimly lit Queen Anne bar located inside The Ruins (a wedding and event venue). There’s lots of dark wood and velvet, a giant elephant statue in the corner, and diamond-shaped chandeliers creating a moody look like most other cocktail lounges (elephant in the room, notwithstanding). But drinks like a citrusy sideshow and Champagne-spiked Eléphante 75 are well-crafted, and with slim pickings for cool spots on Queen Anne, this place stands out by default." - kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo
"If you want to impress a date take them back to this tucked-away bar inside the Ruins, an event space that was once a storied supper club. There are drinks and small bites, but you’re really here for the elegant vibes; it feels like you’re inside the estate of a duke with a mysterious past. There’s also a stuffed elephant here, which will delight you once you walk in and then delight you once more after you have a couple cocktails." - Meg van Huygen

"The dark warehouse building may look vacant in its quiet alley off of Roy Street, but just behind the side door (marked by a red light and wordless sign with quotation marks) is one of the most exhilarating new cocktail lounges in Seattle. The giant elephant guarding the bar top amplifies the excitement, but the menu proves worthy of the unique and historic space. There’s a nice assortment of classic cocktails to choose from as well as some surprisingly hearty small plates (try the salmon dip). There’s also the Unlisted, a daring option where you choose the base liquor and let the bartender do their thing." - Brianna Gunter

"Inside The Ruins, a mansion-inspired event space in Queen Anne (that has seen more than a few wedding guests in its day) is a secret bar called Unlisted. They’re open Wednesday through Saturday, and serve cocktails like a cognac and orange liqueur-based “Sideshow” and “PNW small bites,” which probably means dishes you might see at one of their cocktail hours." - Kayla Sager Riley
