The pizza here is absolutely delicious and the prices are. Although a little bit high worth every penny. I would definitely recommend getting the Nutella Pizza. The meat dream is delicious. It has six different types of meat and six balls of cheese.

Very friendly and fast!!! Emir was very helpful and described how some styles tasted. Definately coming back here, vegan pizza was a miss because it was watery and non-salty. My husband had the mushroom steak pizza, he loved it!!!

Tried pizza here in Essex market it was quick and easy grab and delicious, they have a lot of options. And if u buy 3 slice u get a drink free, def worth it 😮‍💨

While the recent 5 star reviews from 1 review / no photo Yelp profiles seem a little suspicious, I also vouch that Unregular Pizza dishes out some pretty good tasting (and looking!) pizza sliced. More of the Sicilian style, these square slices come with a slightly crunchy crust that contrasts with the melty toppings. We tried the vodka slice, which was full of flavor-- with just a hint of sweet and lots of savory. Didn't even miss the pepperoni! Solid slice :) Was great to try and share as a snack-- grab a slice to curb any hunger pangs but plan to order two for a meal. The mushroom slice was beautifully piled with shrooms, and the burrata slice had a giant pillow of burrata (like as big as a burrata appetizer at a sit down restaurant) perched on it-- pretty! I'm excited to try those next time. The workers were nice and reheated the slices in the oven. There are 4 bar seats at the shop next to the bottles of chili flakes, parm, and other toppings you can shake on. Stop by their spot at Essex Market!

A slice of pizza for $7, a bit pricey vs other places. The portion is alright. I guess rent is high especially in Manhattan. The portion is good. I've had the mushroom one and it was good. I'd recommend you to try it out : )

This pizza spot in essex street market as in the name is anything but regular with quality unique slices being offered. Firstly the mostly offer square slices which is unique given that ny style favors the round slice. Every slice i tried was packed with quality ingredients that you could taste. The dough had a nice bite and pleasant chew. The sauce was a great balance of sweet and tart. I just wish the cheese was more melted across all the slices. My favorite was pepperoni slice with high quality sausage so crispy yet flavorful it packed a wild punch. The maragita slice had basil and pecorina cheese that added a nice extra layer of flavor.

Very yummy pizza with fun topping combos! The inside is quite small so it definitely a grab and go kind of place! While I didn't have any they do have vegan options, which from looking at seemed great! Like I said the food is quite good but does cost a bit more than I would usually want to pay for a singular slice.

Kinda expensive for a slice but it was a pretty decent one. I tried the mushroom, buffalo chicken and pepperoni slices. It was just one staff member doing everything so kudos to him. It was reheated in the pizza oven for 1-2 minutes which made the cheese all melty. My favorite slice was the mushroom pizza because mushroom toppings were plentiful and mushroom and cheese are such a good flavor combination. The buffalo chicken had small chunks of chicken cutlet along with a slightly spicy buffalo sauce and cheese. The pepperoni was probably the least impressive one out of all of them, it did have the tiny pepperoni toppings. They also sold pasta- vodka sauce and cacio e pepe (when I visited).

3.5 While attending Immersive Gaming I was directed to come here for pizza. Apparently, there's supposed to be some sort of deal where people who patronize Immersive Gaming receive a 20% discount, but the employee or owner acted confused like this was unbeknownst to him. He did offer me a different discount but I had to pay in cash-- I typically never have anything but I had enough to score the two pies. The pies took six minutes, which wasn't so bad. The slices were all squares-- I thought it lacked enough cheese, but I made my way over. (I should not be did ask if I wanted it cheesy, but I said just normal). The kids enjoyed the pizza, which I thought was okay, but the crust was a little rough. I took a few slices home and actually thought it tasted better after being heated up.

Solid pizza choice! My favorite is the pepperoni with hot honey but I've liked every slice I've had here. I don't think adding the burrata slice is worth it and it is definitely a bit expensive compared to other places. This is just a grab and go spot in Essex Market.

This place was amazing. They had some different flavor options than your standard pizza places. The slice with the burrata was some of the best pizza I've ever had. It is on the pricier side for a slice, but I can't wait to visit again.

The pizza is delicious. It's made a focaccia type bread with a crusty crust. The ingredients are fresh and generous. They even have a vegan option. Will definitely be purchasing everytime I'm in the area and Cate(gentlemen worker) was a pleasure to be served by.

My friends and I stopped at the Unregular Pizza booth in Essex Market right as they were cleaning up for the night. The man working behind the counter offered to give us his remaining 6 slices at a heavy discount, which turned out to be 50% off. While I appreciated the gracious gesture, I was not thrilled with my square slice of cheese pizza. The crust was pleasantly crisp, and the tomato sauce had an ideal hint of sweetness. However, the cheese tasted like plastic; it was bland and needed salt. It was quite possible that the late hour was the reason that the slice did not meet my standards, but, either way, I was not impressed.

didn't get anything crazy so this isn't the most legit review but the pizza was simply ok. i liked the burrata but wish the pizza had been tastier. the service was good and he was attentive for it being such a close little space. i went here to do homework so it was nice to have a little pause.

This was my first time at Unregular Pizza because I had been going to Mighties in the lower level of the Essex Market building. Mighties is now closed, as all of the businesses in the lower level have been asked to vacate the space downstairs. Initially, I was skeptical about how orders are filled at Unregular Pizza, but, once I sat at the counter and received the slices I'd order, I understood their system. It seemed logical. The pizza was good. As I was eating, I took notice of the diligence of the Unregular Pizza staff member. In fact, he was the only one working behind the counter, and he was doing every task possible. He was preparing pizza, serving customers, tidying up, and more. At one point, I concluded that he is probably the hardest working food professional in New York. The receipt, dated March 28, 2024, and time-stamped at 1:18 pm, said his name is Carlos. Thank you, Carlos, for superlative professionalism.

Great authentic Roman style pizza by the slice! I got the grandma peppina and the cafonata. really fresh and intense flavors! I really Reccomend it.

When I need quick lunch near Essex Market this pizza place one the easiest spots to fill in my stomach. Their pizza is decent and their vegan margarita is nothing different from regular ones (but they don have real mozzarella option). Burrata is quite heavy for one, but good alternative if you wanna have two slices!
