Very cute fine dining restaurant in A twerp. Super recomend the 4 course menu. Great selection of wines are available too

We had the prix fixe 4 course for dinner, it was excellent. Service was excellent. Our waiter who I wonder if he may have been the owner as well did an excellent job in explaining the menu and the reason behind the dishes. He even provided us with some other restaurant recommends to try during our time in Antwerp.

Modern but cozy restaurant. Food was great, with good balance between original twists and classic tastes. Staff was friendly and fast. Vegetarian menu was no problem, so that’s a plus in my book!

Got treated to a birthday dinner here. To say the restaurant is located at the edge of the city of Antwerp would be an exaggeration. It’s fair to say it’s quite a distance from the town centre though. This shouldn’t pose a problem though because: Price/quality/service is in perfect balance here. We ordered the 4 course menu (€58), and were allowed to change the dessert to a different one. Also our dietary preferences were taken into account without issue or compromising the quality of the dishes in the slightest. Everything felt very neatly done and tasted expertly prepared. It’s a small place, but doesn’t feel cramped. Some main course dishes can set you back a fair amount, but having had the menu; I’m pretty sure they’ll be worth it too! The staff isn’t your laid-back careless crowd, but maintain a distant but friendly attitude. I’m pretty sure I’ll revisit.

I loved the small ambiance. Open kitchen. Passion of the cooking staff. And wonderful dishes almost art. Nice personal service. Would you like to try? I could certainly recommend to do so. ❤️

Today I went to Upton for the first time and I have to say, what a discovery! This young chef really knows his stuff. He worked in restaurants in Japan, Italy and the renowned 2 Michelin star restaurant 't Zilte in Antwerp where he obviously picked up the true meaning of being a chef. It's amazing to see how he combines these different cuisines to perfection. A true master of the craft. During service, the chef also serves you the different dishes and mingles through the restaurant, a very nice touch indeed sir! This brand new restaurant in the heart of the Antwerp Cadixwijk is definitely the new place to be in town, mark my words! Also kudos to the waiting staff for the great service throughout the entire evening. I'll be back soon!
