Today I went to Upton for the first time and I have to say, what a discovery!
This young chef really knows his stuff. He worked in restaurants in Japan, Italy and the renowned 2 Michelin star restaurant 't Zilte in Antwerp where he obviously picked up the true meaning of being a chef. It's amazing to see how he combines these different cuisines to perfection. A true master of the craft. During service, the chef also serves you the different dishes and mingles through the restaurant, a very nice touch indeed sir!
This brand new restaurant in the heart of the Antwerp Cadixwijk is definitely the new place to be in town, mark my words! Also kudos to the waiting staff for the great service throughout the entire evening. I'll be back soon!
