"Down the street from City Hall, this beer garden is a prime location if you intend to storm Broad Street after an Eagles victory (knocking on wood). There are no tickets involved, and there will be screens near multiple bars with the game on." - candis mclean

"Reinstalled in the BNY Mellon Wealth building’s courtyard at 1735 JFK Boulevard, I found Teddy Sourias’s Uptown Beer Garden upgraded with communal picnic tables, a bigger bar, an outdoor grill turning out charred octopus, beef skewers with chimichurri, sausage and peppers and Mexican street corn, and a draft system focused strictly on craft beers; hours run weekdays 4–9 p.m. (and later on other nights) with daily happy hour (4–7 p.m.) offering $4 drafts, $5 appetizers and $6 sandwiches, plus warm-weather cocktails like frozen margaritas, sangria and Moscow mules." - Eater Staff
"Uptown Beer Garden is pretty much the open-air Tinsel. They share the same Santa boot and canned soup mugs, neon Grinch signs, and the sneaking feeling that, at any moment, someone might mount a giant candy cane. This outdoor spot makes spiked hot chocolate and cocktails named after movie quotes, like the vodka-heavy Ya Filthy Animal. There’s technically food for sale, but you don’t come to Uptown for the wings and fish tacos. You’re here to drink peppermint-topped drinks and take a sloppy prom-pose picture with an inflated reindeer." - candis mclean
"The liveliest spot on Wednesdays during the summer is Uptown Beer Garden. If you want a chance to get in without waiting 30 minutes, do a Jalen Hurts sprint to their doors as soon as SIPS starts at 5pm. When you get inside, order their $7 tequila-heavy Pineapple Lemonade, a $5 large hotdog, or fries at any of the four bars. There’s always a DJ blasting Miguel or Megan Thee Stallion, and, unlike other laid-back beer gardens, this one has everything from cabanas to bottle service." - Candis Mclean
"The liveliest spot to head to on Wednesdays during the summer is Uptown Beer Garden. If you want a chance of getting in without waiting 30 minutes, we suggest you come here as soon as SIPS starts at 4:30pm. When you get inside, you can order their signature $6 Siptown Sangria that blends tequila, peach and lemon juices, and riesling from any of the four bars inside. There’s always a DJ there blasting the latest top 40 hits, and, unlike other laid-back beer gardens, this one has everything from cabanas to bottle service." - Candis R. McLean
