"Popular burlesque club and bar Uptown Underground has been evicted. Owner Jenn Kincaid told the Tribune that her landlord served her papers and changed the locks; while the landlord told Block Club that Kincaid owes him more than $100,000 in unpaid rent and back pay. The venue opened in 2015 at 4707 N. Broadway Street." - Daniel Gerzina

I saw Chicago Magic Lounge on a date with my fiance and it was a really enjoyable experience. Before the show starts, magicians go around the room performing tricks to small groups of guests and they are really good! The show part was enjoyable as well, with several moments of shock and awe, plus a bunch of laughter. The only downside is that it's a little on the expensive side, but on the other hand you're also getting 2.5+ hours of entertainment.

Went here on a Saturday night. We lucked up because we got front row seats for 20 something bucks a person and there were only a few seats left. The show was awesome! A mix of confident burlesque dancers and 2 comedians. There was another show after ours, however we left to go eat (they don't have good, just "bar snacks"). I don't live in Chicago, but if I came back, I would come here again for sure

Very cool venue. Beautiful wooden bar, small stage that feels perfect for burlesque with a vaudevillian design. I went to see Kiss Kiss Cabaret (Friday nights) and the show was beautiful and so entertaining. The hostess was hilarious, and each of the dancers had her own unique style that made for a wonderful complete performance.

We had a great time! Went last night, highly recommend the backroom experience! Planning to return and bring friends. Enjoyed the close-up magic and the mentalist were amazing! Loved the headliner! Great Saturday night entertainment! Drinks were affordable. Affordable entertainment, we will be back!

Low key spot that was tons of fun! Great chill atmosphere loved the entertainment! I went to Kiss kiss Cabaret on a Saturday.I enjoyed the cocktail waiters coming around taking orders so you can just chill and enjoy yourself and not deal with a crowded bar. Drinks reasonably priced as well. Definitely recommend! Get VIP seats for the best fun 😉

Came here the Chicago Magic Lounge show. Absolutely one of the coolest experiences ever. From the moment you get there.....You're greeted with great people, good service, and tableside magic while you wait for the show to start! The opening act, the main act, and the close up after (worth the extra btw) are incredibly entertaining! I was called up to help which was a riot. Definitely will return again on a Thursday (full show) but the Saturday show tonight was amazing as well. Bravo!

I always have a decent time when we go, but it is frustrating when you go to a show called Boy Toy Cabaret and 95% of the performers are women. I understand it is cabaret, but calling it Boy Toy Cabaret is not reflective of the production.

Great time with good drinks. Close up and stage magic performed over the course of two hours. Beer priced at $4.50 and $6.50. Wine priced at $10/glass.
