"Urban Angeethi is named after the style of grill found across India, and in keeping with its namesake, the restaurant has an extensive selection of grilled dishes like jhinga dil tikka (sesame coated prawns), Kashmiri-style chicken kebabs, and a whole salmon in a yogurt marinade. There are also plenty of familiar curries like vindaloo, rogan josh, and tikka masala, as well as a fairly large selection of vegetarian entrees. Try the paneer pasanda — cubes of paneer cheese in a creamy cashew and almond paste sauce." - Matt Lardie

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at this Indian restaurant. From the moment we walked in, with my family the warm hospitality and inviting ambiance set the tone for an amazing meal. Every dish we ordered was bursting with authentic flavors – the chicken vindaloo was perfectly spiced, the tandoori items were smoky and tender, and the naan was fresh and fluffy. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff was knowledgeable and happy to offer recommendations. This place is a true gem for anyone who loves Indian cuisine. I’ll definitely be coming back – highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Urban Angeethi! We recently celebrated my brother’s birthday here, and from start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the ideal place for a special occasion. The service was outstanding—our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail of our celebration was taken care of. They even went above and beyond to make my brother feel special on his birthday! Now, let’s talk about the food—every single dish was incredible. From the appetizers to the main courses and desserts, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell the chefs put a lot of thought and care into every bite. To top it all off, the restaurant had the perfect balance of energy and ambiance. Whether you’re celebrating a big event or just enjoying a great meal, this is the place to be. I’ll definitely be coming back soon and recommending it to everyone I know!

We went to this restaurant for dinner on a Sunday evening. This facility is in the same shopping center as the La Farm Whole Foods Market. We ordered chicken tikka masala, vegetable samosas, salmon curry, a Gobi Manchurian dish, and the vegetarian Manchow soup. While most of the dishes were spicy, even though we had to ask for moderately spiced food, the tasting quality were fine. We had 3 mango lassies to drink. Prices are relatively high. The design inside is nice: we sat in a table that was framed by a sort of little house with a pitched roof. Outdoor seating is available as well.

Google
First time trying out a new Indian restaurant in the Cary area and this hit the spot. The food is amazing!!! Spice is controllable like in many other places but the food is FRESH! And the flavors are on point.

Google
let me just start with saying this is the most horrible take out experience I had. I ordered 2 dishes Peri Peri chicken & flame chicken tikka.for $60 via GrubHub.... there were literally 5 small piece of chicken in each dish.... combined they won't even make half chicken.... this is literal rip-off..... no presentationof tandoori dish not even Onion..At first I thought my GrubHub driver ate my food.... but when I called restaurant to check quantity they say that's what our restraunt standard is...I mean he admitted there standard is down.... Update after Restraunt reply: I was hoping to to receive this reply of yours and that further clarifies that you guys are not cut out for service industry business... Calling your self upscale with providing sorry looking portion only tells how much to know about industry...I don't need your suggestions to where to dine ..and if you lower your quality to third party delivery apps then you should probably stop partnering with them.. you clearly need them to support your business. Also, if you are so upscale then why are your standards so low for delivery... but not the prices...Also, if you are thinking your food tastes awesome let me tell you it's very ordinary tasting...

First time in and frankly expected a little more for the cost. The food was average there was no chutney or crackers. The spice level was good and the staff was attentive however I just didn’t feel the it was as good as other places. The momo chat had three or four with no filling and the gobi Manchurian was a little on the sweet side. I would say Bombay Curry in Raleigh is better for those dishes.

Google
Upscale Indian Restaurant. Very nice ambiance and very flavorful food. I ordered the butter chicken, mango yogurt drink & butter naan. Everything came out nice and hot. Served was very attentive and the restaurant was updated and clean! Will definitely go back.

Google
Urban Angeethi was recommended to my fiancé and I through one of his patients, and we could not be more thankful for them! This is one of our favorite restaurants, and easily our favorite for Indian cuisine. The service is always amazing, the food is even better, and the ambiance is just perfect between the instrumental music and moody decor. They have plenty of vegetarian options for me (the paneer butter Marsala is a classic!), and my fiancé loves the variety but the favorite is murg shahjahani. Spice levels are customizable and always asked by our server! We could not be happier finding this place!

Yelp
My girlfriends took me to this place for my birthday (it is my favorite Indian goto in west cary area) We started with Mojito Mocktail and Jamun shots with Karara Palak chaat and Chili Paneer! Best combination.. Karara Palak Chaat is chef staple and I am yet not sure how does he/she make it so crispy so I might have to go couple more times before I try it in my own kitchen We then added Methi Chaman, Malai Kofta and Bhindi (okra) with Garlic Naan , Onion Salad for entree course ! Everything was yummy and complimented each other I found okra little bit oily and it could use less oil and more okra in the gravy They did let us bring our own cake so that was a win Our server was a nice gentleman who knew the art of communication and he promised to bring a dessert for us on the house but it never came .. which is OK because we were full anyways We stayed couple hours and were stared by few staff members (I guess they did not want us to take the spot for long but since restaurant had many empty seats and we went late , we kinda sat anyways till a polite staff members asked us to leave since they were closing soon ) Great place/ Great Ambiance/ Great staff .. I will be back 100th time next week because like it said it is my favorite in west cary and will remain that..

Yelp
I am seriously behind on my reviews. My husband and I went here for our anniversary. He loves Indian food. This place had the best atmosphere for a date night. It feels cozy and romantic. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. Now the food. If you like Salmon get it here. I had the Tandoori Salmon and I could eat that weekly. I was spicy and flavorful, but still juicy and flaky. The naan was warm and it was the perfect serving. Definitely going back.

Yelp
We tried this Indian restaurant for their amazing lunch buffet! They have sooooo many options and everything tasted so delicious!! From fresh cut fruits and salad, they have various varieties of chaat, indo Chinese, North Indian dishes, lots of veg and non veg curries, pappadum, 2 types of biryani, idli, vada sambhar and 2 types of desserts. I have never seen these many items in an Indian buffet. They bring fresh naan on the table which is an added plus. The service is good and restaurant has a very nice ambiance.

Neha K.

Yelp
I absolutely love Urban Angeethi. Parking is usually easy, restaurant has this wonderful ambience with an array of music choices (my fav is when they do smooth jazz). This place makes for a great date night but also a wonderful family and fun restaurant. They have a really nice covered patio and I've dined there during dinner hours. On the weekends they've started having a lunch buffet which is one I didn't except to like the way I did. I LOVE that the vegetarian food doesn't share a fryer with meat/seafood because it makes this place safe for all shellfish/seafood allergies giving you this array of options! The staff is always patient with me answering allergy related questions and it becomes a great spot for everyone else to enjoy a meal of their choice too! They do table service for the naan during buffets which is another extra that sets them apart. I absolutely hate when restaurants just dump naan in lots in a buffet tray, compromising the value and goodness of this amazing bread. Not at Urban Angeethi and with their quality of food- we will always return

Taruna T.

Yelp
I ordered takeout & for the second time they gave me only potatoes in aloogobhi. i ordered mild & it was very spicy. even the naan was very cold & stretchy. I don't think I ever do take out from them ever again.

Aditi K.

Yelp
delicious food!!! my original plan was to sit inside and eat, but it was raining so hard when it got to dinner time that i decided just to get takeout and go back home. i placed the order over the phone and it was ready in 20 minutes! i ordered 2 butter naans, paneer pasanda, and methi chaman. the naan and paneer were nothing extraordinarily special, but still really good - on par with other indian restaurants in the triangle. the methi chaman was absolutely delicious! i like when indian restaurants have something a little different to distinguish themselves from the hordes, and i really enjoyed this dish. prices were slightly higher than average, but nothing crazy, and the portions were large, so i'm happy! the ambience inside looked nice, so i'd like to dine in sometime if i get the chance!

Diana R.

Yelp
My second time here. Everything tasted great just like the first time. Service was good too. Friendly staff and food came out promptly. I even got a big piece of dark chocolate cake on my birthday free of charge.

Ram K.

Yelp
It took them over an hour to bring our food. When I asked for the manager, they said there wasn't one and the waiters were running the show. They automatically add 20% gratuity for parties of 4 or more. Given the service, they definitely did not deserve 20% gratuity. I will never go to this restaurant again and won't recommend it to anyone.

Ramzi L.

Yelp
The food gets a 5. Chicken tikka masala med was mild. Very flavourful and creamy. Chicken tender. The tandoori

Ronald D.

Yelp
Food was extremely good. Some of the best butter chicken in the triangle area. Hyderabadi Murg Masala was also very tasty. Service is great and drinks don't fall behind either. Ambiance could be better if the lights were dimmed a bit, but otherwise also excellent.

Katie T.

Yelp
This place is pricy, but delicious! The atmosphere felt like a mix of contemporary and bourgeois. There is a pretty large menu, so I guarantee there is something for everyone. I went with the garlic naan (holy moly to the amount of garlic on this!) and the chicken dum biryani. The waiter cautioned me it was medium spicy, and I almost changed my order, but they tried hard to make it as mild as possible (apparently they make large batches). Definitely doable once I added the white yogurt sauce! It was delicious and the chicken (despite having bones) had lots of flavor. As for drinks, they focus on wine and cocktails. There were only about eight beers to choose from, so pretty basic. It was often hard to communicate with the staff given the language barriers, and one of the waiters seemed new as he kept bringing items to our table that weren't ours, but everyone was helpful. I think there is a covered outdoor patio but they weren't seating anyone in the area when I visited.

Janet C.

Yelp
Great food! Servers are kinda cold but food is fantastic so who cares. The decor inside is nice. We came here for a double date one time. Mango lassi was incredible. I can't remember the dishes but I know we got some shrimp dishes, a mixed platter, and some curries, and garlic naan. Definitely recommend this place though. Yummy food!

Karthik R.

Yelp
Fantastic food and ambience. We came as a large group right before they closed and everyone was very professional.

Yelp
Urban Angeethi is RTP's newest indian restaurant. I finally got a chance to try it out. There are so many Indian restaurants in the area that you really need to step up your game to be successful. The price point for Urban Angeethi is on the higher end as compared to it's competitors in the area. With that being said, we went for dinner on a Tuesday night and surprisingly it was busy. It was four of us and we ordered a couple of appetizers and drinks to start off with. Karara Palak Chaat : I was a little skeptical about ordering fried spinach but it was actually really good. The crispy fried Spinach topped with Yogurt and chutneys made a great combination. Lamb Seekh Kabab : It's a classic tandoori dish. The lamb was grilled perfectly and was a bit on the spicy side. Jhinga Dil Tikk : The sesame coated prawns were really flavorful and were cooking to perfection. Chicken 65 : Considering that chicken 65 is one of those dishes that is available at almost every indian restaurant, it was not cooked well. The chicken was simply fried and served with no seasoning whatsoever. Murg Shahjahani : We wanted to order something different so we ordered Murg Shahjahani which was also their chef's specialty. The gravy was really rich and falvorful and the chicken was also cooked perfectly. Shahi Tukda Nawabi: This was also a disappointment. Considering it was a dessert, it was not sweet at all. Not sure if it was that specific batch that turned out that way but it was not at all what we were expecting. Overall, it is a nice spot with good food. I will definitely go back again!

Yelp
We had the wonderful opportunity to dine here tonight for dinner and we were just amazed at how elegant it was. This place is truly a hidden gem. We particularly enjoyed the modern/urban take of Indian cuisine which allowed us to enjoy a few of our favorites and some amazing recommendations by our server Rohith who was very helpful and expedient with our service. He was also efficient in ensuring our food was not too spicy. We ordered: Mango Lassi Chicken 65 Hara Bhara Kebab Tandoori Platter Lamb Pasanda Garlic Naan Cheese Naan Punjabi Samosa Our ultimate favorite dish was the Chef's special Lamb Padanda. We can't wait to come back and try some more of their delicious cuisine and this time make room for dessert!

Wafa D.

Yelp
I have to say that Urban Angeethi is one of the best places in the area for Indian food. I've dined here three times in the past 1-2 years and every time i enjoyed it. The food is freshly made and is very flavorful. Every single item i tried here has been a hit and worth it. They have lot's of gluten free options too. Their outdoor area is pretty nice, covered and has heating. Even my 6 year old enjoyed her mango lassi, papad and the food, perfect spice level. The chicken 65 was a hit! Will definitely be going back again in the future.

Yelp
We came here last night for dinner and got seated right away. The decor and ambience inside was nice, that is what I noticed first . They give you like a pitcher of water for the table to pour for yourself , water was lukewarm though. So the menu is overwhelming, took us a minute to figure out what we wanted. Decided on the Madras chicken curry that came with white rice and some cheese naan. The portion size was good and the naan had like 4 big pieces. We was able to share all of that between 3 of us. I chose a mild spice level and it was perfect. The rice was nice and moist too and the naan tasted good. Overall a good experience here.

Priyanka B.

Yelp
My friend and I came here for dinner last weekend. We were impressed as the restaurant had very fresh ingredients. The chili paneer was much different than most Indian restaurants. The sauce was seasoned well and spicy. We also got schewan noodles. These were also very well flavored. They were also spicy. We also ordered their signature paneer sabzi and garlic naan. The sabzi could have been spicier. But it was actually good after the spicy food. I got the guava spritzer, which was very unique. It had chaat masala. The drink was also unique and nicely made. I'll definitely be back to try different items on the menu. If you go here get the indo-chinese, it's amazing!

Jeff F.

Yelp
Had high expectations of this place when walking in and it was packed full of Indian people. I guess maybe they only cater to Indians, but we ordered chicken biryani, the waitress asked what spice level, we said mild. The dish came and it was so hot we knew if we ate it there would be consequences, lol! We said to the waitress that the cook must have made a mistake, she said they will remake it mild. Comes out and it's just as hot as the first dish! Again we spoke to the waitress and this time she says "biriyani can't be made mild, only medium and extra spicy"! Come again?! Would have been nice to have told us that....when we ordered!! What a waste of money, and this place isn't cheap either. I'd say if you aren't a fan of super spicy Indian food, this probably isn't the best place to eat dinner.

Vini E.

Yelp
I'm conflicted between 2 or 3 rating. So let's say this is a 2.5/5 rating for me. Firstly, the service is so poor it's surprising because the ambience and location of the restaurant makes it seem it should be top notch. We got seated but I had to call the server to take our order. We had one server walk past our table 2-3 times but didn't bother to come take our order. Strike 1. Items we ordered with review: - paneer tikka: probably the worst paneer tikka dish I've had. It was so dry and the edges were burnt. It came with 2 chutney (mint, which was bland and some mayo chutney, which was weird tasting. It didn't go with the paneer dish honestly). Strike 2 - fish Amritsari: husband liked this. No complaints. But it also comes with the mint chutney which was bland. -palak paneer: we said spicy but we could only taste the jalapeño spicy. We couldn't taste anything else. But not bad! We still enjoyed it. -mangorita: good drink. I recommend it. Not once did any server come and take our plates away promptly or ask how the food was. Strike 3. Overall, I don't recommend dine in. We ordered take once before and that was also disappointing. So I'm not sure if we'll go back here.

Sarah G.

Yelp
I've been here a few times now and can vouch for it being a great spot. The molai kofta is delicious, I really like their samosas and the tikka sauce is also creamy and delicious. They're really good about getting the food out fast, and service is equally quick. Come to the patio for a nice warm evening, or sit inside the nicely decorated restaurant on cozy nights.

Barbara G.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! I had lamb Rohan Josh and my friend had tandoori chicken. Fabulous!!

Sreez K.

Yelp
Over hyped Restaurant- Worth a visit and not again Location- Good ambience and colorful. Food - I visited Urban Angeethi twice, Over priced restaurant. Taste less and watery curries , colored tandoori kebabs. Tried À la carte & Non veg thali togo - all the curries taste same. I liked Dal Tadka than the fancy curries. No difference between non veg and veg taste.

Visu R.

Yelp
The quantity is ridiculosly less for such high price . i ordered paneer pasanda, methi chaman , paneer 65( exactly 10 piece) , baby corn manchuria, all were very less in quantity. not ordering food from this place ever again.

Nitant S.

Yelp
It was a pleasent evening celebrating my mom's birthday. We had ordered Malai Kofta, Paneer Pasanda, Garlic Naan and Peda Kulfi. The food was simply mouthwatering and drop dead delicious. The staff was very attentive and extremely polite, especially the manager Sagar Ambawade. Being from Mumbai myself, it was fun conversing with Sagar. Moreover, I would like to thank him from the botton of my heart for the unique flavorful complimentary Jamun Shot. The ambiance and atmosphere is very pleasent and relaxing. So overall, all I would like to say is if you are planning on celebrating an happy occasion at a beautiful fine dining restaurant, then you wont go wrong with Urban Angeethi. Taste: 5/5 Food Portion: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Rating: 5/5 Overall Rating: 5 Stars

Kellie D.

Yelp
We were seated immediately at a cozy booth complete with belies. The decor is lovely. A carafe of water was brought to the table which I appreciate as Indian food can be spicy! I ordered the Chettinad Shrimp Masala which was not labeled as spicy. Husband ordered the Sea Food Vindaloo which was labeled spicy. The waiter asked if I wanted medium or hot spice so I chose medium. Husband also said medium since his was already labeled spicy: I can usually handle spicy but the medium was a bit much for me. I couldn't finish it. The taste was good but too spicy. I guess I should have asked for mild. Husband was very happy with his medium spice. No one ever checked on us after our food was delivered. We could have used more water. We eventually asked for our check and that was a bit of a wait, too. The food was good but not spectacular. It was a bit of a drive for us so we'll probably stick to Indian restaurants closer to home.

Ashley N.

Yelp
I love the ambiance here as an elevated Indian restaurant. The food is delicious but I think it's overpriced. I've been here a few times and each time was very good and service is great as well. It is authentic and I recommend.

Sony H.

Yelp
Food was very good and good quality . Not the watered gravy like some other restaurants. Appetizers were good quantity and spice level was great . Drinks are decent though the Jamun flavor drink seems a bit stale . It's a pricey restaurant though.. Especially since they add tip as default.. don't understand the purpose of charging more tip for larger crowds - you are serving one table vs two so it's less work not more but oh well it's the norm . Waiters came multiple times to check and very cordial . Seating was comfortable and restaurant was not noisy . Good presentation of food . I would go here again !! Have to try the buffet next time too !!

Hadiya K.

Yelp
Glad to have found this restaurant on my trip to duke. It always feel good to find a Indian restaurant with good ambiance, good food and service.

Jess L.

Yelp
Great ambience and great food. I love the weekend buffet with live dosa station. Will definitely come back for more meals.

Abhi M.

Yelp
Picked up 'to go', the boxes they use for curries leaks the oil, so be careful. Regarding the food - we ordered 'Madras chicken curry' and 'Chettinad chicken' both tasted almost the same. The 'Hara bhara kebab' were really spicy (so make sure you ask for your comfortable spice level), but they were tasty and the 'Pepper chicken' was not bad, I've had better.

Aliya B.

Yelp
We were very hopeful for this restaurant given the ambiance and location! While the food did have some good aspects, like the gobi manchurian was crispy and had good flavor. Unfortunately overall it was not worth the price given the quantity and quality of the other dishes, especially the butter chicken. The biggest issue was the service we received. We were seated quickly but the waiter never introduced himself. He just took away the extra sets of plates and handed us menus. I ordered the mangorita to start and asked to hold the jalapeño. A different waiter brought out the drinks and to my surprise they put ground black pepper into mine. I barely took a sip and knew that it wasn't for me, so when we asked to switch the drinks the server said nothing and brought the new drink. He informed us that because they already poured the alcohol for the drink we would be charged for it as well. When I said that it we should be informed of this rule before ordering a new drink the waiter huffed at us, took a menu and tried to point to the drink stating that it was made like this and we knew because we ordered it so we are going to be charged. When we pointed out that it does not say anything about black pepper in the drink, the waiter stated that this one time he would not charge us but next time they would have to uphold the policy. There will not be a next time.

Andy F.

Yelp
Under-rated Indian restaurant serving great food. The goat Chettinad was tender and the garlic naan and onion kulcha excellent. The place was clean with decent ambiance. Waiters are inattentive but I give that a pass.

Ravi M.

Yelp
Ate here once and got take-out twice. Enjoyed the food all 3 times. Both the interior and the outdoor space is beautiful. My wife is a big fan of their malai kofta, and I enjoyed their mixed grill kababs and palak paneer. The owner/manager was also friendly and receptive to feedback. The reviews so far here are not indicative of the restaurant, people need to keep in mind that restaurants are trying their best during the pandemic (this is also why yelp has a popup saying to take this into consideration). Overall, a welcome addition to the neighborhood!

Mina L.

Yelp
This place has beautiful decorations and a nice patio seating, perfect for outdoor fall dinner . We got the Tandoori platter which was easily one of the best I have ever had (check the picture) and the Lamb pasanda was good too, we got the medium heat and it wasn't spicy at all. With all of that being said, this place lost one Star because of the service! So bad! When we walked in we weren't welcomed with a smile! The host had a very cold face, didn't say hi or how are you or anything, the first thing he said was "how many" and then do you want to sit inside or outside, so we said outside, so he said you can go, so went ‍. We sat for good 10 minutes and no one came with menus or anything, then we see a waiter walking in with two other guests showing them to their table and giving them menus and went back, so we thought maybe he will go to get ours! But no, he came back with water for those other guests. So one of us had to get up to ask for menus! Which he then brought. Then when they brought the water for my little one, they brought the plastic cup half full and the straw was already in the cup and seemed to be wet on the inside, so I couldn't help but think that this whole assembly was used before! And just over all, all the waiters and the host seemed like they were having a bad day!

Bee A.

Yelp
Fantastic food in a beautiful atmosphere. The booths feel very private and the entrees we ordered (tandoori sizzling platter and palak paneer) were delicious. The patio has covered and open-air sections and looks like a nice place to sit on a temperate day. It was raining so we ate inside. Dietary specs (vegan, GF, etc) clearly marked on the menu.

M M.

Yelp
The food was very good. The service was excellent. The chef even agreed to substitute chicken for the shrimp with the Malabari sauce. The ambience is cozy and very nice and tasteful.

Randy G.

Yelp
Great place for Indian cuisine with great selection of Scotch. I highly recommend this for a date and we will be back with friends. The food was absolutely delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Ashish M.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Please don't order the spicy cocktail drink (don't remember what it's called). You will repent. Ambience is nice.

Jace S.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious!! My boyfriend and I both got the Pasanda - one chicken and one lamb. Flavors were perfect and spice level was on point. The nutty flavor tamed down the spice level a lot - we probably could've both gotten spicy! We look forward to trying new dishes. Garlic naan was....of course, delicious. Punjabi Samosa was perfect! We both got drinks and they were made so so SO well! Kudos to the bartender. Great staff and an absolutely BEAUTIFUL restaurant. New go to spot!

Sebastian L.

Yelp
This place has great flavors. It feels high end inside, really cool space. Great service. Prices are on the higher end. But what they really need is a lunch buffet :)

Catherine B.

Yelp
Very good dinner with a friend during Triangle Restaurant Week. We each ordered a lamb entree and really enjoyed the dishes. Garlic naan was also very good. We sat on the patio but the inside decor was just lovely and I complemented the manager.

Raman Preet S.

Yelp
So I am writing this review after my 10th UA trip over since November 2021. Dishes Ordered 1. Kadhai Paneer - 5 Star On their day, there's not a better tasting Kadhai Paneer in RTP and they are right up there with Kadhai Paneer you get in India. 2. Malai Kofta Pretty good. 3. Dal Makhani Pretty good. 4. Badami Paneer Tikka Flavorless. Just plain bland. 5. Samosa Meh 6. Paneer Pasand Decent. Nice The reason for 3 stars is - Urban Angeethi (in terms if taste purely) is good 7/10 times. The rest 3 they mess up pretty bad. Watered down curries is what we got and so on and so forth. But the real issue with UA is that prices and quantities do not match at all - one curry is not enough for 2 people at all. The quantity is too less for its price point. Nevertheless, UA's Kadhai Paneer is an absolute STAR!!!

Lolethia U.

Yelp
Great food. Our server was friendly and even made a few menu suggestions to us as we were obviously new to Indian food. I was super happy to find out that for most dishes we had the option to choose mild, medium or spicy. Our server assured us that the food would not be too spicy. I went with medium to be on the safe side and I was not disappointed. Just enough spice for me. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful but we ate out on the patio since the weather was fabulous. I'm assuming the food is pretty authentic too since we were probably the only people that weren't Indian there. We had leftovers and they were super delicious warmed over this morning. We had a great visit and if you're in West Cary you should check it out.

Honest C.

Yelp
Service was ok. No response on feedback tho. We ordered mutton Chettinad and it was creamy and sweet. That is NOT Chettinad. It had like 4 teeny tiny pieces of meat in it. We mentioned the same to the waiter when he asked us how the food was but that was the end of it. Fish Amritsari- nothing but deep fried fish sticks with some masala sprinkled on the top. Bullet naan- thin as paper and too small to be called a naan! Overall too expensive for the amount and non-authentic/ quality of food. We sat outside, not even a fan was turned on upon requesting. We were sweating. Dropping it off my list of restaurants to revisit !!

Yelp
Right off the bat, let's get this straight, this is NOT a fine dining restaurant! It's a NEW restaurant with a really nice decor and outdoor seating but definitely not a fine dining experience. Sure, the prices are the steepest in the triangle area. The Good - 1. Food - Tasty and different flavors than what's usually found at India restaurants in our area. No coconut or chutney powder in gravy items. Pheww! Butter chicken and naan were the show stoppers, really good! 2. Service - The staff was friendly and were constantly checking in. Our order was delayed due to some glitch in their systems but they were kind to offer a complimentary dessert to make it right. 3. Ambience - Nice decor overall that compliments the food served but the place does get noisy. The Bad - 1. Bar - Perhaps because the place is new, they aren't fully ready. No choice of cocktails and not even a drinks menu. They only serve Indian beer. Ordered 1947 and sent it back right after one sip. Ended up having Taj Mahal beer which in my opinion is one of the worst beers you can have. $10 for a beer, ouch! 2. Fine dining? - By definition, Fine dining restaurants are full-service restaurants with specific dedicated meal courses. Décor of such restaurants features higher-quality materials, with establishments having certain rules of dining which visitors are generally expected to follow, sometimes including a dress code and may include white table cloth service. That is NOT the case here. Servers were friendly and kind but not the FINE DINING type. So keep your expectations low. Overall, a good dining experience but I might only go back if my pocket is warm enough to spend $120-$150 for a family dinner at an Indian restaurant.

Yelp
We went here after hearing about this place from a friend. The ambience is really good. The jamun shots were really good- it is made with Indian gooseberry and has such a vibrant color!! We ordered chutney wala chicken (Patiala style) which the menu said was full of mint, cilantro and green chilli sauce.. when it came out, it was saag chicken, it was bitter and not well salted, there was no flavors of any mint or cilantro or chutney in it. Their appetizer Kashmiri chicken kebab was really good but the entree was really disappointing. The manager was great and friendly - he recommended the jamun shots (we originally thought it was gulab jamun and not fruit jamun so were wary about trying sweet shots... but the manager convinced us saying we wont regret it and we dint!) The other servers kept changing and they weren't really personal or good at recommending any dishes. The service can definitely improve. I felt deceived with my entree order, and I am still a little upset about it, I will wait few more months before giving this place another try.

Yelp
The ambience is great. Food is pretty decent too. Now you might be wondering why this is a 1 star review. It's because of a certain dine in experience. Our food took over an hour to arrive. And when it did we noticed that a few items that we had ordered were missing. We notified our host about it and well nothing happened. He got back with the cheque much later and we pointed out that a couple of dishes were still missing. Guess what, apparently he thought that we had imagined ordering these items and never actually did, in fact he got his notes to "prove" this to us. His entire demeanor was defensive and he kept implying it was our fault. I understand mistakes happen sometimes, but to do absolutely nothing to address or even at the least apologize is honestly puzzling. Some people aren't cut out to be working in the food industry I guess. It's sad that this reflects on the reputation of the restaurant.

Yelp
Have only done delivery. But very tasty Indian. Lamb is very soft and delectable. I am a huge malai kofta fan and theirs is fantastic. The naan is ok as they do not have my fav peswharri (so). The price is a bit higher then other locations but worth it.
