Best Things to Eat and Drink at Downtown San Jose’s San Pedro Square Market | Eater SF

"For Indo-Nepali flavors I went with the namesake momo — steamed Nepalese dumplings stuffed with minced veggies or ground meat — eaten with achaar, a spicy, full-bodied dipping sauce, and paired them with gorkali chili, a robust stir-fry of vegetables, meat, and spices; the menu reflects Nepal’s history of culinary fusion, borrowing Indian spices and Chinese techniques." - Johanna Harlow

Google
A mix of Indian, Chinese, and Nepali foods. They have both steamed and fried momos and I find the steamed ones are better. They offer two different sauces for their momos, which take 15-20 minutes to come out. Other than that, they have other well-sauced entrees and you can't go wrong with many of the different options. They have a nice outdoor patio on B Street and a good interior too.

Google
The food was pretty good. Would definitely recommend the Jhol Momo. Would have been nice for there to be more than one of the outdoor heaters going, I was a bit chilly and my food definitely got cold pretty quickly. But regardless, overall a good meal!

Google
Great place for momos. Also one of the very few places in the bay that opens late. Food was delicious and staff is very sweet

Google
A momo-centric review. We tried three of their chicken momos - Steamed, Jhol, and Chilli. The momos are delicious and generously filled for the stuffing. Tad bit expensive when compared to Everest Momo. Outdoor seating is awesome for your four legged friend. Will come back again.

Google
Ordered lamb curry, garlic naan, and mango lassi to go. Was craving "Indian" food but wanted to try this place. Curry had good flavor (3/5 spice level) though was soupy/thin consistancy. Lamb meat was a little tough but good portion for one person. Garlic naan was thick and fluffy, which I like better than thin and crunchy. Mango lassi portion was small for $5 and thinner consistency than I like. Overall good food, but I wouldn't go back for this meal. I'll try their momo dumplings next time.

Google
Surprisingly, the Nepali food is excellent and worth trying in town! 😉 I've wanted to try it for a while, and I finally visited. All the food was delicious and the service was also excellent. The outside table was cute and had a heater in the chilly afternoon. We tried Chicken Momo Steamed, Vegetarian Momo deep-fried, Lamb Biryani 🌶️, Garlic tikka french fries, Butter Chicken curry, Roti, and Mango Lasasie. Everything was good 😉👍 Biryani was too spicy for me. My favorite was chicken mono and butter chicken curry. I should come back again!

Google
Kamal and the Urban momo team are very warm and welcoming. Quick service and delivery quality food that I come back to weekly. Very warm, comforting, and prepared very well. Buttery Paneer has a very creamy flavorful sauce that pairs very well with the crunchy buttery garlic naan and rice. 10/10 recommend.

Google
First time having Indochinese food which looks a lot like Indian food. Flavors were bold and delicious. I still ended up putting hot sauce on everything. Portions were a bit on the smaller side but will definitely return if I'm back in the area.

Yelp
Very delicious Indian food, must try !!! The staff person, kamal is friendly and provided great service.

Yelp
Amazing food and very friendly staff. Enjoyed talking with Kamal and almost visit the place daily for lunch. Must try!

Yelp
This place is the best!!! My go-to and must have are the chicken momos. Imagine dumplings with a bit a spices. Their garlic tika fries and cauliflower app are also fantastic. Their veggie momo is made with paneer, I believe, which is also very good. They have a great outside seating with space heaters. A great spot to people watch. The wine pours are heavy and very well priced. These guys always know our order. ;)

Yelp
Came on a Wednesday early afternoon and it was pretty empty. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biryani, Chicken Manchurian Chow Bowl, Roti, and Fried Paneer Momos. I highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala! The sauce was super creamy and the flavor was there. It was definitely my favorite dish and eating it with roti was also the move. The Chicken Biryani was also ok but it was definitely on the spicier side. I personally did not really like the Chicken Manchurian Chow Mein as I felt like the noodles like flavor and was not a fan of the chicken either. It was my first time trying momos and I personally like the fried paneer momos and the sauces that came with it, but next time I would probably tried the non-fried and non-paneer choices. I didn't know this at first until I tried it, but paneer is a type of cheese and they mix it some veggies for the momo filling. Overall the service was good and I think the portion sizes were also decent.

Yelp
Beautiful outdoor seating and conveniently located in the main street market. Easy ordering and we were off to a good start with the heaters working and table cleaned up. In $76 (before tip), we got: - lamb choila $17.50 - 2/5 - very chewy and hard. Served with stale white rice - gorkhali chilli chicken $14 - 2/5 - i was excited for this one after reading other yelp reviews but the quality of the chicken meat itself was very poor. Im having a tummy ache already coz of the low meat quality ingested in this visit - chai $4 - 1/5 - it actually came "cold" like not even warm :( complained to the server who then got us another one after 15 mins which was lukewarm (in a dirty cup this time) - chicken steamed momos $14 - 3/5 - decent taste and outer layer was fine too. Came with sauces which were good. Still $14 for 6 pcs seemed really high to me. -- Everest momos gives u 10 momos (with better taste) for $13 and same sauces. - butter chicken $15- 3/5 - creamy texture of the sauce was good and paired well with butter naan $4 but chicken meat's quality again was very low :( Not coming back until they improve their meat quality. The pricing is high already for small portion size so im not sure why their meat quality is so low in all dishes :( Not recommended!!

Yelp
We ordered the steamed chicken momos and the chilli paneer momos. Both were delicious but personally I enjoyed the stramed chicken more. Service and atmosphere were good as well.

Yelp
Super friendly service! Our host was so attentive and polite. The fried MoMo and tandoori MoMo taste amazing. Their MoMo sauce is refreshing and make you want to drown the MoMo into it! We also got their lamb curry. Perfect spice without feeling too greasy. If you are lamb lover like us, the lamb meat is tender with a little chew. Love the curry not overpowering the meat taste. Wish we have more stomach to try more of their Indo Chinese disheDefinitely coming back

Yelp
I've passed by this place a few times in Downtown San Mateo, and the food always looked amazing in the photos. When I was sick at home, I noticed it was available on DoorDash and decided to give it a try. Since I ordered delivery, I can't comment on the staff or the ambiance of the restaurant, but the food itself was really tasty. I'm a huge fan of palak paneer and always on the lookout for a great one. While this version was flavorful, it didn't quite meet my expectations. The chicken momos were also delicious, but I was a bit disappointed with the amount. I ordered 8 and I only got 6. No complaints on the Garlic naaan, chow mein, fries, or Manchurian. I would totally order again, but maybe in person this time instead of DoorDash.

Puja S.

Yelp
We loved the food here. Specially tandoori Momo was so delicious. Also they have great customer service. Will be returning back. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Cute restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Sat inside with a party of 4. Had the dumplings, garlic naan, butter chicken, tandoori chicken, chicken wings and chow mien. The dumplings were great packed on the inside. The Garlic naan was soft, warm and full of flavor (a must order). The butter chicken was saucy and had lots of pieces of chicken. The chow Mien wasn't great, too many vegetables. Tandoori chicken was juicy and flavorful but was tough to cut off the bone. The wings were just ok, too saucy and not much flavor. Loved the Taj beer. Got a small then a large one after. Our waiter was so funny, happy we had him. He joked about all the dishes we ordered. Also when we asked for the check he joked that it was 500. We joked back asking if it was 500 rupees. lol

Yelp
Got food delivered from this place. The spice levels are so good for someone who can handle it. There was generous quantity of paneer tikka masala and rice. I have tried their dal tadka too which is very good. The food is very flavorful. Wouldn't recommend this place for anyone who cannot handle spice.
google avatar

Eric M.

Yelp
Tandoori chicken was raw near the bone and the photo shows what looks like a breast and a wing so I asked the waiter who said it's a breast and wing. What I got was 2 un-meaty and undercooked scrawny legs The nan and lamb vindaloo was good but not worth the risk of going back and being served undercooked meat

Yelp
I placed a late order right before they were closing thinking I had scheduled it for pickup at 11:30 PM. However, when I went to pick it up, they were already cleaning up. It turns out I had accidentally set the order for 11:30 AM the next morning instead. Despite being in the middle of their closing clean-up, they were kind enough to make my order. A big bonus was that the paneer momos were probably the best I've ever had, and the sauce they paired with them was both spicy and delicious. The way the momo was wrapped created the perfect little spot to place the sauce. I'll definitely be back, but I'll be more careful with the pickup times next time!

Yelp
This is a cozy, little gem of San Mateo. The food is light but flavorful. I've ordered from here many times, even for family visiting from out of town (they loved it). I've also eaten there in person a couple of times. The owners are so sweet and friendly. The fact that it's halal is the cherry on top for people who strictly eats halal. My favorites include: the fried chicken momos (the sauce is so good!!), chicken choila, Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice, Schezwan Chicken Chow Mein, and their biryanis (both chicken and lamb).

Yelp
Customer service was excellent and the food was very good. Don't expect a high end restaurant; this is small and kind of a greasy-spoon ambience, but the friendliness and sense of humor of the waitperson more than made up for any disappointment in venue. There were three of us and we decided to dine family style. We ordered the dal, steamed chicken momos, and lamb biryani. The dal came in a small metal bowl, but we were given two empty bowls so we could each try some; the serving was probably meant as a single serving, but sharing gave us each a sampling. It was very flavorful with lots of hints of different spices (one struck me while I was eating it, but, for the life of me, I can't remember what it was!). It was very, very good and would've made a nice light lunch for one person. The chicken momos (we ordered the steamed version) were okay; I thought the skin was a bit thick. They seemed to need some kind of sauce other than the sauces they brought to the table. Good, but not anything I'd go out of my way for! The lamb biryani was very good. The chunks of lamb were fork-tender and the rice was flavorful. I love biryanis and this one didn't disappoint as far as flavor went, but I would've loved a few more chunks of the lamb! I would definitely return if I was headed to San Mateo during lunch or dinner just because they were so nice!

Yelp
My brother ordered DoorDash from Urban Momo way too many times as it's his favourite go to. Yesterday he ordered for me when am visiting him in Foster city. The order arrived so quickly to my surprise. We got: Chicken Chow Mein schezwan flavors - it was amazing. Loved the taste, texture and flavours. It gave the charred texture that makes it authentic like made in Indian street style bandi. chicken momo's. Plump, juicy, packed with tasty meat and steamed to perfection. The momo sauce was perfect combination to the momo. Neatly packed and filled to the brim. Would recommend for sure.
google avatar

Yelp
For vegetarians the Tandoori Paneer Momo are the best. And beautiful too. Ask for Kamal he is a great waiter.
google avatar

Anvita S.

Yelp
Would recommend the egg fried rice, butter chicken and garlic naan! Momos (steamed and sautéed) were both good, but the chicken choila was too peppery for most of us at the table.

Yelp
- Chai - 4/10 Not strong enough. have had better. For an napali/indo-Chinese restaurant their chai was mid. - Spicy Chicken Wings (6/10) - Pretty spicy. Had a good flavor. The chicken wing itself was a bit fatty so it had a slimy-ness to it. Not a fan of the texture. - Chicken Biriyani (8.5-10) - Flavor was pretty good. Chicken was cooked well. It wasn't dry like a lot of restaurant biriyani is. - Garlic Naan (9-10) - Crispy on one side.Soft on the other. Buttery and garlic-y. Loved it. - Fried paneer momo (8.9/10) - Good filling (veggies and paneer). Fried well. Loved the fried dough. - Chicken momo (8.7/10) - Flavorful chicken filling. Outer wrapping was good too. OVERALL 3.9/5 stars I would go again. I just wouldn't get the chai and wings again.

Yelp
This is mostly a take out place with Parker seating if you want to dine in. It's super casual with very friendly wait staff. The food feels very street food style and my particular favorite is the Gobi Manchurian bhaat bowl. It's the only things I usually order after not enjoying the momos very much. I've gone back for the one dish atleast 15 times. It's easy, predictable and yum for when you don't want to think too much about what's for dinner :)

Yelp
We stopped by for Lunch here. Kamal Thapa is one of owner of this place and is very kind and friendly. The food was tasty and authentic, which was prepared by cooks from Nepal who all are mountaineers and river rafters. It's a place run by people who love what they do.

Yelp
Something is wrong with flavors of Biryani! Biryani tastes pungent, no good aroma! It has a restroom on the back. Cons, - most food items are out of line, flavor, ingredient wise, hence, doesn't taste great! - small shop

Yelp
Amazing food. Good service and friendly staff members. Must try momo dipped in tikka sauce.

Yelp
I can't talk about the ambience or service as I ordered via UberEats but I got my order ahead of time with zero misses ( for the win!) Look I ordered from a Nepali place with Momo in its name and didn't order the Momos - so proceed with caution while reading my recommendations - I will tell you what is tasty and what ain't for sure From Epic to Good to Meh...here's my rating : The Gorkhali Chicken : IMO SHOWSTOPPER hands down my favorite dish - it was spicy and yet not mind numbing - I could taste the peppers and the tomatoes and the wonderful spices used....definitely a keeper! Lamb Biryani : GOOD but not great! There was very little lamb and what was in the biryani wasn't very flavorful or spicy - I will try the chicken next time Salt and Pepper Cauliflower : Meh! And avoid - I got it for 2 reasons - I love cauliflower and this was a BOGO offer ( the entire 2 servings are shown in the photo - so don't expect two of those !!!) - it was bland, almost soggy and not at all something I would want to eat again - HARD PASS! I will try the momos and report back for sure! But definitely try the chicken - Try.The.Chicken!

Yelp
The food is good but the takeout is disappointing! Every dish came with rice, even the appetizers! Basically they are swapping out the dish with 50% rice. And it is not mentioned when you order online! This is something new I learned about this place.

Yelp
My family dined here on the recommendation of a friend. I've actually never had Indo-Chinese food before, but it was surprisingly delicious! And it was perfect for my family because my older child loves Indian cuisine and spicy food in general, but my younger child cannot handle spice! She loves Chinese food though, so both kids were able to order dishes that they enjoyed. My younger child started with a mango lassi. She said it was really good because it was thick and not too sweet. Some restaurants' versions are too thin, it's like juice. We started with the fried cauliflower (Gobi Manchurian). It's basically buffalo cauliflower, with an Asian twist, very similar to the Korean yangnyeom sauce - sweet and spicy. We then tried the steamed chicken dumplings (momos). They were very good! The skin was not too thick and it was full of meat! They served them with two house made hot sauces. One was very spicy and lacked flavor in my opinion. The other one was mild and really tasty! I'm guessing it's a makhani sauce, a buttery-tomato cream sauce. It was so good, I'd buy a bottle of it! They also offer fried momos and johl momos, which are dumplings in a tomato based broth. I'd like to try these next time...For entrees, we sampled the lamb choila and mango chicken with garlic naan and roti. The lamb choila dish was probably the best Indian lamb dish I've ever tried! The server forewarned us that it was very spicy, which we appreciated, but we found it to be the perfect spice level. The lamb was served with basmati rice and was the perfect accompaniment to counter the spiciness of the lamb. The mango chicken was fine. It tasted like orange chicken, but with mango flavor. It was fine, but not my cup of tea. Too sweet for my liking, but my little one enjoyed it. The breads were freshly made and perfect for sopping up all the different flavors and sauces. My family really enjoyed our meal here! It's also very affordable!!

Yelp
This restaurant is located in the heart of downtown . The waiter greeted us right away once we walked into the restaurant. The restaurant is kind of small. Maximum capacity is around 16. However, they also have outdoor dining as well. We decided to dine indoors and we noticed couple tables had food crumbs on them. The table was also sticky. The waiter had to wipe down our table after we were seated. He told us that they didn't have time to clean the tables because they were busy with catering orders. They should clean the tables right away after they bus them. They do have an extensive menu. We ordered Mango Lassi, Chicken Manchurian, Mango Chicken, Steamed Chicken Momos, garlic naan, and chicken biryani. The mango lassi didn't come in a nice glass like other restaurants. It wasn't too sweet, which we liked. The mango chicken is the chef's speciality. The menu states that it's a sweet and spicy dish, but it didn't even have a hint of spiciness in it. The steamed chicken momos were the highlight of our meal. They were full of flavor that we didn't to put any sauce on them. The garlic naan was the worst we ever had. They weren't garlicky enough and the texture of the dough was different from the ones we had at other restaurants. The chicken manchurian was just ok and the chicken biryani was very flavorful. We didn't enjoy the dining experience at this restaurant because we were constantly shooing fruit flies away. While were eating, a fruit fly landed on the mango chicken entree. The waiter saw me killing it. He didn't even offer to remake the dish for us. He handed me extra napkins instead. We were disgusted by this. We felt as we eating at a dirty restaurant in a third world country. Also, when I was walking to the restroom, the floor between the kitchen and the bathroom was very slippery, an accident waiting to happen. We will not patronize this restaurant again, especially when there are so many other restaurants located in the same neighborhood.

Yelp
A new place for date night! Immediately we were welcomed by the staff and seated at one of the open tables near the door. The first thing the host did was turn on the heat lamp so we wouldn't get cold which I thought was incredibly considerate. We were given water and menus with lots of great options. We decided on the samosas and gabi for starters and biryani and chicken tikka masala for entrees. Our waiter suggested some naan to complement the meal which was a nice add on for the curry. The food came out shortly and smelled amazing. Everything tasted great and there were plenty of leftovers to eat for the following day. Hefty portions and super nice staff. Will definitely be coming back to try other things!

Yelp
When I craving for some Palak Paneer or Lamb Biryani this is the place always delivers. The Palak Paneer is fresh but rich and is a great counterpart to the spicy biryani. Love that the place has outdoor dining on B street which is closed to traffic. Great place for a nice meal and to people watch.
google avatar

Jaane F.

Yelp
We like the food here! Even though they took some time to get the food ready. Both chow mein and biryani rice were so delicious and flavorful. Those deep-fried momos are also very crispy and crunchy. They're worth ordering.

Mr P.

Yelp
My personal take is that I didn't enjoy the food here but reading the other reviews lots of people do. Make your own decision. It's best if you are familiar with this food because honestly the menu doesn't quite explain the dishes well. Also I like spicy but this was sweat running down your face spicy. Again, make your decisions.

Jesse Emily D.

Yelp
I am giving this place zero stars and the food looks nothing like the pictures on the menu. It actually came and was some of the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted and I was really hungry. We could not eat it, however, and I wouldn't feed it to a stray cat, even the nann was disgusting You didn't tell me shit because I had already ordered it and you're in the bathroom and I had no help because he just decided to shower during our time of food. Also, I ordered from DoorDash, which was very confusing. I tried ordering and ended up getting two of everything and getting charged twice for everything accidentally so the meal price was $120 and I did not eat more than a bite of everything. The only reason why it gets one star is because you have to put one star in order to be a review. I would really like to give it zero stars please nobody here just save yourselves.

Yelp
Our favourite place for momos in the peninsula! We've tried a few other newcomers but this remains unbeatable, even in their takeout form (which is usually how we get it nowadays). Their paneer and chicken momos are the bomb, and if you feel like it, try out the jhol variety which are extra soupy. However, I like the original dipped in the curry sauce the most. Make sure you ask for the spicy sauce if you can handle your heat! We've tried the other items (like the Manchurian or chow mein dishes, which are Indian Chinese food), and they are decent. Maybe I just have different expectations because of their Chinese origin -- and unsurprisingly I like the original versions way better-- but usually I stick to the momos and I'm a happy person. The staff is always very pleasant there, but it can be slow at times for the momo items. Have some patience for the yums!

hc m.

Yelp
So, we originally wanted to go to the other downtown Momo place - so we went here instead. Place is a rather small shop opposite the SM movies... i think that may result in a lot of itinerant foot traffic. That plus the fact that they seem to be doing a lot of takeout business and that there seem to be more folks hanging on than strictly necessary for running the restaurant result in this giving the feel of a Nepalese diaspora meeting point. Nothing against that, just saying. Service was friendly. Food was good... maybe as much for what it isn't as for what it is. The food is fresh and good, but it tastes slightly different from a usual Indian restaurant. Slightly different spices, food prepared slightly differently... It's a bit, hm mildly irritating... but not in an unpleasant way! Feels lije it's geberally slightly less spicey than mainstream Indian, which is fine. Try this one if you want Indian, but maybe not the same same Indian again.

Yelp
Urban Momo Order: * Mango Chicken * Chana Masala * Garlic Naan Pros: * Chicken is fried, yet still moist. * The mango sauce was plentiful with just the right consistency and fresh pieces of mango. * The Chana Masala was full-flavored, slightly spicy. * Naan was standard, what you'd expect. Cons: * The mango sauce was like a sweet-savory that felt like it tried to be the Jack of Indian and Chinese flavors, but never an Ace of either. It was okay but gave me pause whenever I ate it. * I would have liked the Masala to be thicker, like if they pureed half the chickpeas to give it a thickness and left the other portion whole for texture. I was hoping to dip the Naan in the masala but it was a bit too thin/soupy to do so. Comments: * I am far from an expert in Indo-Chinese cuisine so these dishes could have been made perfectly and if you're at all curious, it's certainly enjoyable enough to give it a try for yourself. 3.5 stars for me.

Yelp
Outdoor Dining: It's really lovely that they have outdoor dining on the closed down street in front of the restaurant. There are plenty of heating lamps and they work well. Butter Paneer: My favorite dish here Garlic Naan: Very buttery and full of garlic flavor. Went great with the paneer! Manchuria Chicken: I wasn't as excited about this one. I was expecting the chicken pieces to be a bit more battered and the sauce wasn't my favorite. Would definitely eat here again!

Yelp
Food was great. Our server was also attentive. I will go back and try more food! We ate outside on the deck. Servings were good so I rate it as good servings for the price.

Mahi G.

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times, and the food is amazing, at such a good price! I ordered the garlic tikka fries and fried paneer momos. The sauce that it comes with is very tasty and not too spicy. The owners are super friendly and the food came out fairly quick after we ordered it. The restaurant wasn't too busy when I went, and the interior was definitely a bit older, but I've come back multiple times just this year and have had an amazing experience every single time. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Yelp
More realistically 3.5 stars but I bumped them up because they're a small operation that's been in San Mateo for years and serves unique food. We came here on a Monday night and did dine in. There was only one person working, and he handled everything - seating, taking orders, serving food, to-go orders, preparing drinks, etc., which is impressive but also resulted in relatively slow, inattentive service. Food-wise, we ordered the chicken briyani, paneer momos, and garlic naan. Everything was solid and the chicken briyani was a huge portion, but we felt a bit snubbed when the table next to us also ordered a garlic naan and theirs came out looking significantly better and with a much larger portion size than ours. The momos were great - definitely recommend trying them out. In terms of drinks, we ordered a chai and a drink (forgot the name) that was supposed to be sparkling water, fresh lime juice, and spices. The chai didn't come until we were literally finished with our meal, to the extent that I asked for it in a to-go cup. For our other drink, we saw the server open a can of Sprite, so we weren't pleased we paid $4 for something that was advertised differently on the menu. Total bill was $50 post tax and tip. All in all, I'd say come here for a casual dinner if you haven't tried it before.

Yelp
Note that I've only gotten takeout, so I can't speak to the service. The chow mein was very oily, to the point that it was a little hard to eat. The portion size was also fairly small (although I guess the oiliness made up for that by filling me up anyways). I also thought the chicken Manchurian was dunked in a little too much sauce. That said, I did think the sauce was tasty and the chicken was pretty good. This food has promise, but perhaps just needs to dial back on the oil and sauce.
google avatar

Yelp
The chicken sichuan fried rice was okay but a little bland. Our group was 6 people but two people didn't recieve their dishes until everyone else was almost done eating

Yelp
Based on food only! We got the fried chicken momo, chicken tikka kebab, and the garlic butter naan. The food is so good, I usually like to try new things when I'm in a different city, but I'd rather try new things at this restaurant. The portions for the momos are perfect, they give plenty with 8. When you bite into it, steam from the heat comes out but it's not scorching your tongue. It's not oily either, even though it looks it. It make the other fried dumplings I've have so sad in comparison. The chicken is very satisfying and filling to eat. You should order a side with it, like naan. It's a little salty alone, but who eats chicken alone without another side? The naan is really good with the chicken. Perfect crispiness and very garlicky. When eaten with the chicken, the garlic and the slight saltiness makes it prefect together. Def recommend! The only option is to eat outside, so the ambience isn't thatttt great. Bathroom is available but it's not super clean.

Yelp
The chili momos are to die for! Everything is incredible and this is one of my favorite local spots! Kamal is the greatest too!

Yelp
Best place ever, came here for the third time in a week. Highly highly recommend the chicken momos chili. Great service too, a true downtown San Mateo essential. Kamal was awesome!

One of the best places I've ever been to. Kamal was amazing. The chicken chili momos had me craving for weeks. The service was great, and amazing ambiance.

Yelp
TLDR: - Good street food, a little extra oily. - Good for a once in a while snack. - Portions are a bit small but okay for the price. - Substituting a can of sprite for a handmade drink is no bueno. The good: 1. The chicken curry was tasty, very tender chicken. 2. The chow mein was authentically street style, but it's quite greasy, leaves a streak on your plate. 3. Chicken Manchurian rice bowl was great, tangy with tasty rice The not so good: 1. The chicken momos were average. Filling was plain, the wrapper was very doughy and thick. The side sauce wasn't great, sriracha felt nicer with it. 2. The samosa filling wasn't spiced at all, felt like boiled potatoes and peas, also a bit wet. 3. I was sent a can of sprite instead of the Soda pani! Thats not what I expect for $4.50!!

Yelp
We really enjoyed the vegan/plant-based options here: momos, dal, samosas, etc. delicious. Friendly folks there, too. And you can eat outside on a nice parklet!
