Google
What I’ve been searching for!! Everything (despite my low quality photos) was incredible. I had the chips and guacamole, one cauliflower taco and one fish taco, as well as the ahi ceviche. The taco tortillas were amazing, the portions were generous and the sauces were excellent. The ahi ceviche was spicy and refreshing. Our drinks were also awesome. This food hall has a great atmosphere, I for sure will be back!

Google
the food and drinks here are very good, i totally disagree with the negative reviews. Though the prices aren’t the cheapest it also isn’t too expensive. in my opinion it’s worth the price and we do come here at least once a month. i highly recommended it. we always get the agua chile, enchiladas de mole, pork belly tacos.

Google
we stopped by the blind rabbit for some drinks in the court area and found our way to this most delicious tacos!!my husband and I like trying cauliflower anything and they happen to have cauliflower tacos, I had my first bite and it was an explosion of Mexican flavor, I loved it and so did my husband. We also tried the chicken mole tacos and they were also popping, it was a very creamy texture and I almost felt it tasted like tamarind pulp and chili. We also had some drinks and enjoyed a nice evening with music playing in the small court room. I will definitely bring my girls to try this delicious taco treats!

Google
First Impression: I decided to try this location because I heard good things about it. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to the hype. Food: The guacamole wasn’t very fresh, and the nachos were disappointing — small portions for a $20 plate. Drinks: I ordered a pineapple agua fresca, but it tasted like the fruit was overripe and past its best. Overall Experience: For Mexican food, I’ve definitely had much better meals for a better price. It might have just been an off day since it was during the week, but overall, I don’t plan on returning.

Google
The best nachos in the world!!!! The atmosphere of URBANA is quite nice although the music was insanely loud when we went. Servers were very kind and service was quick! And the food is incredible! Both me and my partner got the nachos and they are truly to die for! Heads up they don’t accept cash so if you’re a traveller make sure you have a credit card

Google
Neat little place inside the bottom floor of the Packing House. Delicious food. Recommend the Green Chilaquiles and the Urbana Burger. Plenty of drinks and liquors to choose from. Have a TV that was showing sports. Seating is somewhat limited, but plenty of room for groups. They were down a cook and it took over 45 minutes for us to get our food while others who arrived after us received their food before us, but workers were informative and made up for their little hiccup. Recommend.

Gardenia B.

Google
A little pricey what it was but the food was pretty good. Love aesthetics and the fact they have their own seating area exclusively to their customers. The tacos were the best!

Alexandra G.

Google
Absolutely fantastic tacos! The flavors are authentic, with perfectly seasoned meats and fresh toppings. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. A must-visit for any taco lover! 🌮🔥

Yelp
Came for the indoor cool air and a ice cold aguachile michelada. Got gifted with a reposada shot, courtesy of the awesome bartender. Salud The gobernador taco was chef's kiss 10/10 Crispy, fried wild prawns, in a mild Cornmeal batter. Fresh Fresno chili, red onion, cabbage, melted queso and a house made blue corn tortillas, bring this taco together for a sweet and spicy perfect shrimp taco Amazing ambiance, impeccable service thanks to Kenon, my bartender, and food! Can't wait to come back

Yelp
Gave this place another try, I went on their taco Tuesday. Me and my hubby got the margarita for $8 they were so good! So good job bartender I should've gotten his name. The server was friendly got our food fast and everything was delicious Wish I would've had more time for another margarita hahaha The place has good music playing I was feeling the beats of the music. Not too loud. I will be back to try there other tacos and maybe a few more drinks?

Yelp
Located inside the Anaheim Packing District, Urbana Mexican Gastronomy serves alcohol and food. My friend from out of town wanted to check this spot out and we did. It has nice decor inside and dim lighting. In my honest opinion, Food was decent, and certainly not worth the price. Presentation was nice but I can't see myself coming back.

Yelp
Tacos Dorados!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All day, everyday! Gimme those tacos dorados! I love potato tacos so much! And for whatever reason, not many places sell potato tacos. I was beyond excited to see dorados on the menu! And had to scratch that itch. The dorados were so freakin delicious! The taco sell had a nice crunch to it. And the potatoes were cooked well. It had some garnish on top and salsa. Those were a good compliment. These were really great. 10/10 Service was satisfactory. The tacos were served after about 15 minutes. And they were fresh and really hot. Ambiance is cool and I love the decor- sugar skulls everywhere. The day of the dead vibes throughout. Very cool and trendy vibe.
google avatar

Kayden H.

Yelp
Cute little restaurant, and good food. Ceviche tasted fresh, but could've used a little more flavor.
google avatar

Amanda V.

Yelp
The Packing District is such a vibe, and URBANA fits right in. Loving sugar skulls, I was a big fan of the decor right away. The vivid colors draw you in; the food and drinks keep you there. We started with guacamole and chips and our drinks before ordering our entrees. The hand rolled corn tortillas were amazing! Service was quick and friendly. Our server provided excellent suggestions.

Yelp
I really hate to send this review because I've come to this restaurant for so many years and never had an issue but I ate recently and the server split the check and probably added gratuity and thought we wouldn't notice when he dropped the sign slips after he split the check. This is very dishonest and because the manager that I wrote to never got back to me I can only assume that they know what's going on and probably in on it or they like the server and want to protect them. This is a huge problem and as much as I hate to do it, I can't come back to this location because management handled it poorly and I don't feel safe spending money here after this happened to us. Just make sure you are looking at your check when you come here. Hopefully they take care of this problem because we love the food.

Yelp
This place is a little hidden gem within the Anaheim Packing District. I had only been to the packing district one time and was under the impression that all of the food places were "order at the counter and sit in a common space" type of places but I was wrong. This is just like a restaurant but on a smaller scale. They have their own seating within their own restaurant space. I was sent here on a TimeLeft dinner, and of course i came to Yelp to check out the pictures and view the menu. I tend to be a little bit picky I don't really venture out much with my meals, I'm very basic when it comes to food so I was a little nervous that the mix of the flavors and ingredients were going to be too much for me... But I'm happy to report I was wrong again! The food at this place was absolutely fantastic. So much flavor you could taste all of the different ingredients within each item. I had their burrito which was filled with meat and cheese and corn and a few other things I can't even pronounce, but it was mouthwatering deliciousness!!!! I will say though, this is the only Mexican restaurant I've ever been to that does not give you chips and salsa... We ended up ordering chips and guacamole which was great! Also (this won't take away from my rating nor would it keep me from coming back) but their chairs are terribly uncomfortable. They are very small, red, metal chairs. It fits the vibe and I totally get it but I don't think I've ever been so uncomfortable. We actually moved from a hightop table to a low top table because there was an older lady in our group and she was having difficulty with the hightop chairs. The lower chairs were definitely better and slightly larger than the hightop chairs, but still not overly comfortable. Also, one of the ladies in our group had many food allergies and the restaurant was great at catering to those and making something special for her to eat.

Yelp
Back again! And this time with friends. This visit left me with mixed feelings. LOVE the vibe and perfect distance from the live band playing (singer was off the hook). Our server was nice, however she forgot half our food, so we had to get her attention a couple times. Once the food arrived it was as good as it looks. My personal critique there were a couple plates that were overly spicy (can't handle the heat). I prefer mild spice, so I can enjoy all the flavors. PS - can someone explain the flavor profile of their Mexi Hazy IPA. They were sold out and I'm intrigued.

Yelp
This place has some yummy foods! Must try/ get the chicken Tijuana kale salad and cauliflower tacos! Baja fish taco is yummy as well - the chipotle sauce is so tasty! Great music playlist and fast service.

Yelp
Definitely a vibe. I sat at the bar with a girlfriend and had some great conversation with the bartender. The drinks were very flavorful and the food as well.

Yelp
Loved the Paloma and Michaeladas !! coming back for the Carnitas Papas! also loved the flavor of the al pastor tacos :)
google avatar

Michael A.

Yelp
Food was very good. Very authentic and original flavors. The mole dishes were exceptional. Docking one star because the prices are also exceptionally high considering comparable restaurants.

Steve G.

Yelp
The food was horrible. The oil not changed so the shrimp and fish tacos were dark and tasted like bad oil. Worse yet the "manager" Gloria made zero effort to have any type of positive approach or energy to support us and just figured taking it off the check was enough. She didn't want to listen, she had excuses and obviously doesn't like her job. My wife tried to explain and she kept looking away and around instead of being present and hearing her. When that was mentioned she said she had too many tables to attend. Shined us off. She's in the wrong business and we will NEVER bring our work groups here ever again! They've gone way down hill. Horrible!

Yelp
Had some delicious nachos and quesadillas here to start the day yesterday. Also tried the pumpkin spice margarita, next time I will ask to swap out tequila for bourbon. Cool bartender in here is willing to change things up a bit. Sitting at the bar always has the best vibe.

Yelp
Javi the bartender provided exceptional customer service. Made it feel really welcoming. The drinks were fantastic. Overall ambiance was nice.

Yelp
Urbana is located inside Anaheim packing house surrounded by many other restaurants. I got invited on a brunch date by a gal pal who said she comes here often. I am glad I trusted her judgement because this place did not disappoint. We went on Saturday at 12:00pm. We were one of the 1st ones there. We got attended right away & were there for about 2 hrs. If you are a fan of micheladas I recommend their traditional one, it was so good! For appetizers we had Carnitas papas, I couldn't believe how delicious it was & the serving is great for 2-3 people. I had the chilaquiles & hands down every time I feel I have had the best chilaquiles, this one is #1 on my list. Service was great. The space is small which makes sense since it is inside the packing district. I did noticed by 1:30pm the place was packed. So I recommend an early arrival if you don't really like crowds. Would definitely come back to have a miche, the appetizer & the chilaquiles again. I had a great experience.

Yelp
Went with a friend tried a little of everything so when I got here I was a bit full but couldn't resist the tacos full of flavor the picked unions added that extra flavor for each bit

Yelp
Overpriced and underwhelming. $30 for 3 tacos and rice and beans. Tortilla was so thick and dry. Al pastor dry and tasted reheated in the microwave. Steak was all stuck together, no flavor, again dry. Salsas also lacked taste, when I asked for other salsas, was told it was a dollar for each small dipping container. Get outta here. Two stars because he was nice when we asked for extra napkins to clean the table and the rice and beans was decent. I shouldve looked for a truck instead for my craving, but I wouldn't recommend this place.

Raymond W.

Yelp
Ken is killing it! Wonderful drinks, and good vibes! first time here, will definitely be back!
google avatar

Rebecca C.

Yelp
The filet mignon taco was not a filet mignon cut but instead ribeye. 6 pieces of steak for $10 was definitely not worth it. They were pretty generous with the grilled onions though. You can order takeout at the bar or at the cash register. Seating at the bar or at tables.
google avatar

Yelp
We came here friday midday and first off the waiter was the most straight faced man. We ordered our drinks which were just fountain drinks. We got an aguachile and some entrees. I had come here previously and they used to serve beans and rice with the enchiladas. I kindly asked the same waiter when he brought the entree if I could order it on the side since I remember it included rice and beans. He very rudely said WE DONT SERVE BEANS AND RICE! He was also walking around and serving us very fast as if the restaurant was full. I am giving three stars because the food is good. The aguachile is very spicy so if you're not a fan of true spice tread lightly. The fish tacos we ordered are delicious. The enchiladas are also very good. The food is solid , service trash, this place is also very bar heavy so perhaps we did not get good treatment because we ordered no alcohol. Either way it's nothing special that we would return for.
google avatar

Yelp
With beautifully hand painted catrinas on the walls and kalaveras peppered throughout the bar, Urbana's decor was mesmerizing. This tiny establishment is located downstairs and to the right of the main entrance at the packing house. The carnitas fries were other worldly. The carnitas taco was also very good, but the arrachera was just ok, and the mole taco was on the verge of terrible. Our tortillas were gummy and slightly undercooked. Cadillac marg was typical, the Jorge Negrete was unique, and the Luchador was spectacular. I made reservations for 12:30pm on a Saturday, but it probably wasn't necessary since the place was fairly empty. We sat at the bar, which had a nice selection of mezcal. There were a couple TVs showing the soccer games. It was cool to visit once, but I'm not sure if I'd return.

Yelp
Taco Tuesday spot inside the packing house in Anaheim. Small place was busy but we had good customer service. Valet parking is $10 parking here is a madness even on a week day. The atmosphere was chill good vibes not loud just perfect.

Citlalli G.

Yelp
Authentic Mexican cuisine. Very flavorful. Service was quick and amazing . Tried the chicken mole enchiladas and didn't disappoint

Yelp
This gem is hidden in the basement of the packing house is well worth the fight for parking and the crowds. The decor screams Mexican and is so welcoming. The service is fast friendly and honest about the menu items. The tacos were amazing and full of flavor. The filet tacos were so tasty and full of flavor and the hand made corn tortilla were so good. This is a great taco shop!

Yelp
After arriving at our Airbnb, we were feeling a little peckish and were curious about the Anaheim Packing District, so we headed on over. It's such a cool space and it was absolutely packed. We scoped out a bunch of cool-looking eateries but finally decided to go with URBANA Mexican Gastronomy. We decided to start with an order of the Al Pastor Nachos ("topped with guac, melted queso Oaxaca, crema, pico, pickled Fresno chilies, chipotle salsa, micro cilantro") and they're terrific. It's a generous helping that's been loaded with all those aforementioned components, to the extent that there were hardly any naked nachos to be had (which is the most important thing when it comes to a plate of nachos). The components all worked really well together, and I especially enjoyed that chipotle salsa. It was so flavorful and it really enhanced the whole thing considerably. We also got a couple of Arrachera Steak tacos ("guacamole, pico de gallo, salsa, queso fresco") to share. They're also quite tasty and flavorful. I liked that they came with the salsa on the side, so we could apply as much or as little as we wanted. URBANA is such a cool little spot and I have to say I enjoyed my meal there considerably. I even got their namesake margarita and it was terrific. Good stuff.

Yelp
Went here for happy hour for the first time. The atmosphere was fun and authentic. The drinks were unique and creative! Just the right amount of alcohol ;) Lastly the asada nachos was on point!!! When it comes to the service the bartender was very friendly and made great suggestions to us! I will definitely be returning!

Yelp
Finally got to try this spot at the Anaheim Packing District! I love that this place has their own sit down area and it has such great vibes. We came here on a whim and got seated immediately. Service was good and the food was delicious! I'm surprised there weren't more people there, but menu prices were a little high for what you get in comparison to everything else in the packing district. I can see the dilemma for foodies there especially when the district offers so much. However, overall food and service was good! I would recommend giving them a try!
google avatar

Anna G.

Yelp
Great ambience and all of the food was excellent but it was also SPICY!! And I know it's Mexican so spice is expected but every single item was spicy. My fave was the arrachera tacos and least fave was the chicken mole. The chicken mole was a little too sweet for me and needed more savory and less cinnamon. Paloma was great too!
google avatar

Steven O.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I decided to stop here for drinks and food after we heard about this place from this random girl at this random place. We're happy she told us about this place because we had a blast. The food was great and the drinks were great. Kenan was a great bartender, he really suggested some great drinks and was just a good dude. We'll be coming back for sure.

Yelp
I saw this place at the packing district and the ambiance brought me in to check it out!! What a great new find!!! I'm super excited to tell u that the food is authentic and taste so delicious! I had the pasole and elote! I can't wait to come back! Their HH menu is amazing! Great prices and just an awesome vibe! They are friendly and helpful and know the menu! I'll be back this week for Happy Hour and if u wait a bit longer.. there is live music at the packing district 7-9!! Well worth it! I definitely give this a 5 star!!!

Yelp
Came in because I was craving a good michelada. Was very happy with it they use their own salsa negra made daily. Bartender was really cool. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Kind of inconsistent food and service. Unfortunately, I also feel the restaurant is cramped due to the location in the Anaheim Packing House, so it made for a more casual ambience than I was hoping for. Made a reservation for my boyfriend's birthday a few weeks ago, and had some ups and downs with the experience. Our server was helpful in giving recommendations, and also took note of my special request for mocktail recommendations, but forgot to acknowledge the birthday. Not a huge deal, food started off great. Chef's Oysters (5/5) were an unexpected hit---cooked garlic butter shrimp on raw oysters?! But it worked! Ahi Ceviche Tartare (5/5) was also delicious and fresh. But while I enjoyed my Enchiladas Suizas (4/5), the tacos all fell short. Most were dry, overcooked, or uninspired. Kind of a disappointment, considering the price of the tacos, but all the meats were dry and felt cheap. The cocktails looked enticing, but I don't know if I'll revisit. Strange to go to a Mexican spot where the food that excelled is strictly non-Mexican, but I guess it's fusion.
google avatar

Natalie B.

Yelp
Really fun place. From the pictures I thought it was just a restaurant but when we arrived it was this huge place with so many food options, Christmas decor was on point, it was really lively and pretty. The restaurant itself is one of the stores, we got a margarita and an expresso drink. We ordered the nachos to start which were FIRE. Exceeded our expectations. For our mains we got the birria tacos (3 of them) and then steak wagyu (2 of them) . It wasn't stuffing, it was just enough to keep us full and not over full. There was live musicians playing Christmas songs and it just added to the whole vibe. Def coming back here next time we're in the area.

John L.

Yelp
Like the flavor a good food means we're kind of tasteless but very expensive.. Being at the packing house, they would not let us sit at a table and bring food from other places.Yet the other restaurant did brought that I would pass
google avatar

Yelp
Great vibe taco Tuesday, on the way to a concert so didn't eat a ton. Great Baja taco crispy and light batter shared snapper ceviche with friends, so good. Oh and good Cadillac Margarita. I think about their Baja tacos too much. We were early dinner so it was getting more full around 730 ish when we were leaving. Def going back when I'm in area. We circled around for parking in lot, no dice so we valet it was 8$. Worth it if you're on a time schedule.
google avatar

Yelp
Really great option if you are eating at the Anaheim Packing House. The corner that they put us in was super hot even with slats open to the center area. Then again, your looking at the side of the staircase. The place is decorated very nicely. We started with a shot of tequilla, because why wouldn't you, and the portions were very generous. We then ordered some drinks; wife had the Pistolero which is our friend had the Paloma. Both were very good. My friends Paloma was a tequilla drink with grapefruit soda and other citrus. I don't know why I seem to remember it being red but then again, we had a lot of drinks and I was not desginated driver tonight! The Pistolero is an Old Fashion and the best drink i tasted all night. I had a Jameson on ice and again, it was a very genorous pour. The wife and I shared the three taco special. We each had a fish taco and we shared one Pork Belly. Surprisingly the Pork Belly was not a huge win but the fish tacos were. Food quality was very good. Would love to come back and try something else here.

Yelp
Okay honest review, first time at this restaurant. Is very difficult to get to this small little restaurant , is inside a food court, the restaurant is on the lower area and you need to walk through a lot of different restaurants to get to URBANA. Parking is so bad , hard to find a good parking space. - The place is really small , not big at all the seating area not very large , and a bit uncomfortable the tables are very close to each other you don't have a lot of room to walk is small , THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR BIG FAMILIES. the tables are super small no room to put your plate and drinks, also no room to strech your legs. ( look at the pictures ) - The music IS SO LOUD , you can't not have a conversation , I did asked our waitress why is the music so loud she said is part of the atmosphere of the restaurant. this is not the best place to go for a drink and have a conversation. just saying..... - The restaurant decorations is very cute and urban you can tell you are at a Mexican restaurant. I really like all the wall decor. ALSO the restaurant is very dark,. I dont know why. - AGUAS FRESCAS , I don't know who makes the aguas frescas they are not good at all, the strawberry and pineapple had no flavor and tasted bitter . for a Mexican restaurant you really need to improve you AGUA FRESCAS THE TASTE IS NOT GOOD. - The food is very tasty, i got fish tacos and they were so good, and everyone was happy with their food. small portions but good. The flavor is good and the presentation of the plates are very nice. - THE WAITRESS: DONT expect good service they will take your order bring your food and they don't return to check on you. pretty much you have to wave your hand to get some type of service. not the best service , make sure you get all your items at once.

Yelp
Service was quick and efficient. Food was phenomenal. A little spicy, but the flavors were amazing. My husband had the pork belly and lobster tacos, I had the burrito and we split the nachos. All the flavors were so complimentary of each other. The space towards the back is more comfortable, plus the mural is lovely. Thank you Josue for your great service!

Yelp
All I can say is FINALLY!!! The Mexican food we've been searching all over LA/Cali for! After wandering all over the Packing District, we stumbled upon Urbana looking for drinks! We got so much more than that! This cute place is so vibrant and the servers and staff were very welcoming! We started off with the Urbana margaritas and the bartender was attentive that she kept them rolling as we enjoyed our food! They were some of the best margaritas with the freshest lime! We all ordered tacos and an order of nachos to share! We ate it ALL! Not a chip or jalapeño left behind! So glad we decided to eat there for our first time in the Packing District!
google avatar

Val M.

Yelp
We got a spot at the bar. It was a bit dark and cramped inside but the food and drinks made up for it. All the staff we interacted with were nice and food came out with good timing. Everything was deliciousss. My friend and I shared so we could try a bit of everything we ordered. I think my favorite taco was the arrachera (super juicy in a good way!) followed closely by the Baja fish taco. Love the guac on both! The pastor nachos were really good. I'd say a pretty good chip to topping ratio and I like that they come out toasty. And we loved our drinks!

Yelp
Came to Anaheim Packing District for lunch with a couple of friends and needed to locate a spot that could accommodate my husband as he has Celiac Disease (can't have gluten cross contamination). I called ahead and Ashley answered the phone. She was so helpful and kind enough to check with the head chef to confirm we could be accommodated. She informed me he could have anything on the menu that wasn't fried (as they only have a shared fryer). Perfect! We showed up and ordered take-out from the bar. Ashley helped us and flagged his order (enchiladas) as an allergy and he was able to have a safe meal. Ashley is a rockstar!! I ordered the (vegetarian) cauliflower tacos and they were delicious! We did take-out and ate outside downstairs in the cute cushioned seated area. Highly recommend Urbana if you are looking for a spot with gluten free fare in Anaheim Packing District!

Yelp
Palooooooma with mezcal. Al pastor! Taco Tuesday. This is my favorite Taco Tuesday to visit for gourmet artisan tacos. The spice level with the Al pastor can be variable week to week but still very enjoyable. Service is always great as well!

Yelp
This is my second time visiting Urbana. The first time was wonderful with lots of shared appetizers and cocktails, along with the happy hour items for our group of six. The Dorados were among out favorite items, pretty sure we ordered 3 orders! The second time was for a spontaneous dinner! We sat at the bar top, as we didn't make a reservation. I always recommended reservations if you are adamant about getting a table places! Fortunately there's was a bar to sit at and we were lucky to get two spots on a busy Friday night. To start the cocktails, Paloma and Urbana Margarita. Both were delicious and presented beautifully! My friend got the red snapper ceviche which was refreshing. It was OC restaurant week so I ordered off the specialty course menu. I started with the Ahi Tostadita, next had the Arrachera steak and flan for dessert. Did not get a picture dessert as we requested it to go after it took a while due to the restaurant being very busy and backed up. (only con). All the servers are friendly and had been very helpful every time. The location is easy to find downstairs in the packing house.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! You have to stop by for Taco Tuesday, the atmosphere is lovely. my favorite are the carnitas tacos - I have been here multiple times, Gloria, Chantelle, Ivan & Kenan have been amazing every time. Always a great experience when I stop by for a couple drinks & some food. I always get the best service every time I come i'm happy, no complaints, must try!

Yelp
It's official. After years of research Urbana is our family's #1 Mexican restaurant in Southern California. Get the salad! Sons love the tacos. The mole' is still my & my husband's favorite. I wish I lived near the packing house, as I'd be at Urbana more. Question for Urbana? Where did your cooking skills come from? Grandma? School? Other?
