"Urbanspace Union Square is home to two of our favorite chicken specialists in the city: Bobwhite Counter and Lou Yau Kee. Their stalls are right next to each other, so if you’re here for lunch with a friend, it’s a good idea to pay a visit to both. We usually start at Bobwhite, where we order tenders or a chicken caesar wrap, and then end at Lou Yau Kee, where we like the mixed chicken rice, which comes with both poached and roasted chicken. The food hall has some high-top tables, and a full bar where you and your poultry-loving friend can get down to business. " - willa moore, bryan kim, matt tervooren
"Urbanspace Union Square might be the least overwhelming food hall in all of New York City—mostly because it’s on the smaller side, with only 11 vendors—and we highly appreciate any food hall experience that doesn’t result in us feeling hungry and paralyzed by choice, all at once. This glassed-in hall on 14th Street is also home to two very notable chicken spots: and —and they also happen to be directly next to each other. A visit here should include both. There are some high top tables, and a full bar, where you and a poultry-loving friend can get down to business. " - Willa Moore
"Urbanspace has added two new vendors: Mysttik Masaala, a Mumbai street food truck turned permanent location, and Lou Yau Kee, a Hainanese stand from three vendors of Urban Hawker." - Emma Orlow
"The sixth Urbanspace location in Manhattan, featuring 13 food stalls forming an island in the middle, with outdoor patio seating and a variety of food options including bowls, salads, and sandwiches. Notable dishes include tuna tostada, eggs bacon parm, a tofu bowl, chicken gyro, and pizza of the day." - Robert Sietsema
"Union Square’s new Urbanspace food hall will open to the public on December 13, a spokesperson tells Eater. The 10,000-square-foot space — at 124 E. 14th Street, near Irving Place — is home to 13 food vendors, including fried chicken legend Bobwhite Counter, California burrito shop Summer Salt, and Taiwanese foods vendor Bao by Kaya." - Luke Fortney
