"This breezy spot on the southern border of Kensington describes itself as “authentic Uzbek cuisine.” The kebabs are nicely smoky from charcoal. The usual manti, lagman, and plov are also available, and all meat is halal." - Robert Sietsema

"This breezy spot on the southern border of Kensington describes itself as “authentic Uzbek cuisine.” The kebabs are nicely smoky from charcoal, but be forewarned that some don’t look like your idea of a kebab — such as kazan kebab, which is a full meal including potatoes. The usual manti, lagman, and plov also available, and all meat is halal. Did I mention they’re open 24 hours?" - Robert Sietsema

"An Uzbek restaurant known for its kebabs, plov, and manti dumplings. The food features a combination of flavors including cilantro, cumin, garlic, and sunflower oil. The space is modern with a youthful staff." - Melissa McCart

"Each of these five fist-size dumplings ($13) is an explosion of flavor: It starts with the coarsely chopped lamb inside, oozing fat, flavored with onions and Asian cumin. It’s topped with sauteed and pickled red peppers as well as chopped cilantro and dill. And the wrappers are wondrously thin, given the load of meat they must carry." - Eater Staff

“The food is good, I liked it. The best dish for me was Uzbek plov. Their menu has many options, but some dishes might not be available. For example, when I went, they didn’t have manti.”

We liked the dishes, the shashlik was delicious and juicy, the dumplings were fresh, the samsa was crispy and awesome. The only minus and for this I am removing one star was that the table was dirty, they didn't wipe it down and we ate like that. But the food here is excellent.

Thread the path that's least explored. Not being an Uzbeki myself, as we maneuvered through our order, was greeted with Assalamualaikum and placed our orders of Manti, samsa, Plov and shashlik. You know it's authentic when everyone that dines in there is a Khabib-lookalike. Besides that, the food is beyond amazing. The samsa had a really good ratio of beef and beef fat that were juicy, my samsa was dripping with goodness as I take my first bite. The Plov, was one of the best! Unlike the Pakistani pulao or Afghan Plov, I would say this version ranks the highest. The beef again had some fats surrounding the meat which makes every bite enjoyable and not dry. The rice combination with the sweetness of the carrots was perfect, my whole family loved it! The shashlik, ah, I wished we dined in, it was juicy just lightly spiced so that the taste of the meat was not overpowered by the spices, really yummy. The manti juicy succulent meat in a light dumpling like cover, with the right thickness of dough, I gobbled them up in seconds. One small recommendation, for non-Uzbekii patrons, it would be good to have photos or description of the dishes, will help with the ordering. Four words! Great authentic Uzbeki food! Added to my go-to halal Uzbeki restaurant whenever I am in Brooklyn.

Great food. We had Lagman Soup and Uzbek Plov. Delicious, fresh and rich. The owner gave us a sample of Tuy-Kebab, a traditional Uzbek wedding stew, and it tasted great. The owner is very friendly and enthusiastic. He says he just took over the restaurant and 'everything is new'. He has obvious pride in his food and homeland. Highly recommended.

I ordered Uzbek pulau twice in 1 week and both times the rice was very dry and hard. The meat was barely chewable. I informed brother Abdullah and said he will make sure the rice was cooked but same issue. Brother also overcharged me.

Some of the best food you'll ever eat! The plov is absolutely incredible. The samsa is also delicious.

Very low key place, food tastes authentic and delicious. Try their beef plov along with some fresh salad and warm bread. Service is very attentive. Restroom is so tiny, I bet an average Uzbek guy doesn't even bother going inside lol Recommended for quick "refueling"

Generally not a good place, I came three times without looking at the car. My car still has sound.
