My husband and I decided to go here for our date night as neither of us had ever been, and we had both heard a lot about it. We made a reservation, but it was early on a Friday and not really necessary. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good. The place needs updated and and honestly, it was way too hot in there for a summer evening.

Everyone was very kind, the bread boy, the hostess, the waitress, the food was delicious authentic Italian food, the perfect quiet place to enjoy your dinner accompanied by a good talk.

Google
My second visit and so close to 5 stars. I'm very picky about my Italian food experience. Food One of the few restaurants I have gone to that has manicotti that is real manicotti none of the crepe "really thin pancake" garbage. The meat sauce was delicious. Ordered a meatball and it was ok I had expected a little more flavor but would totally order it again. Enough to share for two of you order an appetizer. The calamari was fabulous as well, cooked perfect! Lobster ravioli was good. Not something I would typically order but wanted to taste something different. Great sauce The espresso martini was meh, I was ok they didn't have real Expresso but you would expect an Italian restaurant to have Expresso. Atmosphere First of you want to be comfortable eating ask to be seated in the wine room those chairs look comfy. I was there on a Thursday when they opened so it wasn't crowded. It was quite and pleasant. Service I arrived 50 minutes before my reservation and requested if I could move it up 30 minutes or so and they were able to accommodate. Had a cocktail in the bar. Every staff member was friendly, pleasant and courteous. Food was timed well. If I had to say anything negative is getting the check and the togo box took a little long. Highly recommend and will go back.

Google
$10 for this Tiramisu to go. When I got home, I was so disappointed. I Paid for two slices but it looks like one slice cut in half and placed in two boxes. I really feel I got ripped off. Food was good, but overpriced. I forgot the name of what I ordered, but it came with four pieces of ravioli and one tiny thin piece of chicken. Not worth it at all. I ordered a white Russian took 10 minutes to get to my table and they were not busy. Server came to us once. I had to ask for our bill. I won’t be going back anytime soon.

Google
The dinner as always was amazing. I chose the scallops, with sauteed vegetables, and fresh mashed potatoes. It was very tasteful, fresh, and perfectly prepared. To start I had the caesar salad and I requested anchovies which was very good. For the red wine I chose a glass from Peachy Canyon. The service was spot on. Thank you

Had a wonderful birthday in Bakersfield with great service, delicious food, and good drinks.

Google
Old building which is fine. Furniture could use some updating. Servers were all very good. Food...no. $100 for spaghetti, lasagna, 2 Caesar salads and iced teas. We were passing through town and went here based on reviews. Sorry this is a $40 meal. Just not very good.

Last night, nine friends and I had a lovely time at the wonderful Uricchio’s Restaurant. We were seated in the comfortable wine room. All of our meals were delicious with generous portions. Our waitress was terrific, attentive and efficient. We had a great time and will be back.

Yelp
Today we stopped by one of our old favorites, Uricchio's Trattoria off 17th street. They have their lunch specials for the month of May 2025 for only $15. Their Chicken Piccata is one of my favorites - we chose to have it with a side of pasta (Fettuccine Alfredo) If you haven't had a chance to stop by recently now is a great time to take advantage of lunch specials at this local favorite. They have the specials available throughout the rest of May on Wednesday - Friday during lunch hours from 11am - 2pm. Chicken Piccata with Sautéed Vegetables and Potatoes Baked Lasagna Rigatoni with Sausage and Pink Vodka Sauce

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick drink after a meeting. The bar was empty but the service was quick and polite. I will say that the chairs and bar top itself could use some improvements. The chair was barely hanging on and there were crumbs in most crevices. Bartender was friendly and drinks well made so I can't complain!

Yelp
We have always ordered Italian food from your wonderful menu. I again, ordered items from your menu last evening and I have never had CLAM CROWDER WITH EXTREMELY HOT PEPPER OR SOMETHING SUPER SPICY. MY HUBBY ORDERED a salmon and he loved it. I too in the past have enjoyed your food. CLAM CHOWDER IS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE SPICEY. TOTALLY SUPPRISE that a dish Of yours would leave your restaurant with enough spice in food to give you third degrees internal injuries. My Husband's salmon was enjoyable. Clam chowder is a NEW ENGLAND DISH WITH POTATOES AND CLAMS BUT NO HOT SAUSE. MOST Of everything ordered from URICCHIO's is delicious but last night they were introducing a new cook, and my food was rated a one(1) and I am being generous. Thanks for reading.

Yelp
I have not been here for years. It has not changed. Very busy on a Thursday night. The waitress was very helpful and our drinks were on the table in minutes. It is very nice, with black table cloth, the decor is a little old school. But the food was incredible. The calamari was crunchy, fluffy, just perfect in every way. The scallop and jumbo shrimp was flavorful and succulent. And the pasta was amazing. My wife spoke highly of the browny. Great experience over all.

Yelp
The food never disappoints!! This is the best Italian place in town! The server was awesome as well!

Yelp
The service is excellent. The entire staff is friendly, attentive and quick to meet your needs. My favorite food choice is the lasagna. There is absolutely no comparison to the quality and taste of this amazing plate!

Yelp
This review goes out to Emily. She's been a server there for 3 years, and I hope that she's here for 30 years, so I can celebrate my 100th birthday! Don't laugh, my mom lived to be 99 1/2 and my father, a WWII Veteran who received a medal for helping to liberate the Philippines, lived to be 92, Like me and the rest of my family, we've been coming here for over 30 years! Papa Nick, a culinary legend, used to carry our precious infant around the restaurant, we could enjoy our delicious, classic Italian dinner, without interruption. She took to him, and loved him, as we all did. Fortunately, his incredible family took over the business, after he and his wife passed away. Emily our server, and Brian, the 3rd generation part-owner, are a perfect example of why we keep coming here for special occasions, or any time we crave their pasta dishes, with meat sauce,

Yelp
Consistently good food and service. We have been eating here for over 30 years. Fair prices and a good bar.

Yelp
First time here and definitely not the last! Had family in town celebrating a few birthdays and this place was recommended online and they commented on the post saying they would love to host us and that's what drew us in. Being from out of state, I had never heard of sand dabs before. It was one of the best meals I've ever had. The staff was super friendly, they met us walking out to our car after dinner to offer a birthday dessert on the house after already giving us a free appetizer. Nice place for a romantic dinner or just really good Italian. We will be back!

Yelp
Always the best. We live an hour away and always drive out to Bakersfield to eat here. Thank you everyone for the great service. Delicious food.

Yelp
My wife and I came in dressed very nice and it seemed like the restaurant stopped and stared at us for being overdressed lol. Other than that it was very lovely, food was amazing. A tad bit crowded but the host made up for it with some complimentary basil bread. Would 100% come again.

Yelp
I'm not going to lie, I was highly disappointed about tonight's dinner. We decided to celebrate our 33rd anniversary tonight instead of Wednesday. I had bought tickets to Joy Koy a few months ago and knew I needed to find a restaurant before the concert. A week ago I made the reservations, I let them know it was our anniversary and wanted a nice table inside. I picked this place because it had been a long time since we've been here. And we use to come here back in the mid 90's, a lot. So we get there, the parking is always awful. But we finally found one. We walked in, wasn't greeted, then taken to our small table up against the window. I don't ever remember all the tables being so close to one another. To the point that walking in between tables people have to scoot the chairs so you're not bumping in to them. Our waiter came over, very nice and very busy. We went ahead and got our drinks and put in an order for bruschetta. The waiter said it should take 15-20 minutes to come out, said okay no problem. So we ordered a cup of chowder, and ordered our entrees. My husband ordered the lobster ravioli, and I ordered the chicken piccata with alfredo ravioli. We actually got our bruschetta before our chowder. It looked nothing like we remembered or tasted. The bread was very soggy and it tasted like old ingredients. Do not recommend! The claim chowder was very good. We got our entrees and I about laughed right in front of the waiter. You will see in the picture. My chicken was very thin and smaller than the palm of my hand. I should have said something, I don't know why I didn't. I will say the flavor of both the chicken and alfredo ravioli was good. My husband did not care for the sauce on the lobster ravioli. I want to also point out that the bread they served us was hard and came in a basket they serve chips in at a Mexican restaurant. What happened to the nice baskets and was the bread was covered up? The menus look like a dinner menu, what happened to the really nice menus that you use to open up? For a restaurant that looks and feels classy and upscale, you need to do better. I also want to point out that your windows need to be cleaned. Please don't sit people next to dirty windows. And no it wasn't on the outside or in between the windows. We tried to relive our past and it was a fail. Sorry to say we won't be back.

Yelp
It is my son's birthday and we wanted to take him some place nice. We seen that uricchios seemed to be a popular place in town and he loves pasta. We all were incredibly disappointed with the ambience and the food per price. The restaurant is too packed with tables to enjoy the food. Being a person who walks with a cane it made me feel trapped and uncomfortable. This restaurant in my opinion is not handicapped friendly. The restaurant was dirty and dusty with chunks of broken tile on the floor. The food was not as good as we thought it would be considering the price per plate starts at $22 if you're not ordering appetizers. For 4 of us my total bill was $136 and I feel like I was cheated. My son's lasagna had giant bay leaves mixed in and all of our plates seemed to be reheated. The bread was stale and the butter too hard to spread. It was super noisy and overall made all 4 of us super comfortable. We will not be returning to this establishment.

Yelp
I'm not sure why, but nothing feels more privileged than to have lunch outside on the patio of Uricchio's with a glass of wine, watching the world go by. This is a place where they treat you like family. Mica, our server, knows we're going to enjoy a leisurely meal. My wife got the Eggplant Parm. I opted for the Penne Puttunesca. Brian brought out some cheesy bread to nibble on. While we waited, we ordered a glass of wine. They have an excellent selection of reds. My wife says the Eggplant Parmesan is delicious. The chef cooked my penne to perfection. The sauce was flavorful, but not overpowering. Do yourself a favor, if the weather is nice, try lunch outside in downtown Bakersfield.

Randy S.

Yelp
A friend and I ate at Uricchio's and were pleasantly surprised! While the ambiance could be improved, the food and service was excellent! I will definitely be going back.

Yelp
VERY busy tonight for lovers' day, but we weren't in a hurry. We were seated in the "wine room" (always preferred) and our server was Jennifer. As always, everything from ambiance, to food, and service was terrific! We usually reserve this for special occasions and boy, are they always special!
google avatar

Corby O.

Yelp
Still hands down the best Italian in town and at a reasonable price. My wife and I eat here almost every year for our anniversary as well as taking home dinner once in a while throughout the year. The food is always high quality, perfectly cooked, competitively priced and they are still serving the Crème brûlée cheesecake which is without a doubt the best dessert I've had in town, it's an absolute must try.
google avatar

Yelp
Went for lunch and had the lunch special-susage sandwich. It was a lot of food. On that day, the sausage was dry and not great tasting. Complementary bread was offered during lunch. However, I don't remember specifics because it's been a few weeks. Server who seated us found us the perfect spot for our lunch meeting. Ambiance is nice in the back room.
google avatar

Oni M.

Yelp
The bruschetta was awful, too wet & soggy- the windows are so dirty you can't see outside! I will say that the server was kind & professional. No interest in returning.

Yelp
There are few places in Bakersfield that stand out. When people from out of town ask: "where do you recommend going?" I have trouble coming up with any names because, for the most part, my experiences with dining in this town are underwhelming at best. It's usually the same old tale of paying too much for a mediocre meal served by someone who obviously hates their job. Urrichio's, I'm happy to say, breaks the mold. I ordered the salmon: a beautiful piece of wild-caught fish adorned with capers and the lightest, brightest, most complimentary sauce. The vegetables were fresh and crisp--not the frozen garbage everyone else seems to serve these days. I also had a side salad with their house dressing which was a creamy Italian and it was beautifully balanced. You really get the full Bakersfield ambiance as well--with the screams of a homeless crackhead echoing throughout the streets of downtown. I would be cautious at night, but the food is definitely worth it.

Yelp
I had the best eggplant Parmesan ever at Uricchio's. I plan on returning to try other items. I do suggest their Chocolate Windmill Cake. I was great.

Yelp
The best Italian food in all of Bakersfield. It's a bit pricey but it is SO worth it!

Yelp
First time here and I would really like to give kudos to our server! I believe her name was Jennifer. Very sweet, attentive, and provided such great customer service. I ensure to tip her accordingly as well ( ps I do not tip just to tip. I tip based on service and the service from Jennifer was definitely deserved) The food definitely exceeded my expectations. Both my boyfriend and I left feeling very satisfied with our overall experience. If there could be one minor takeaway it would be the table we were sat at. We tested the table next to us to see if it was just our table but it wasn't. A few of the tables were unleveled and wobbly which made eating a bit unpleasant but other than that everything was phenomenal! We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Food was outstanding, 5 stars. Service was good, 4 stars. Ambience good, crowded, 3.5 stars.

Yelp
Disgusting Experience - Will Never Return! We visited last Tuesday and the restaurant was completely empty, with no music or ambience, which made for a very uncomfortable atmosphere. The food was decent, but I couldn't even finish it. After paying the bill, I asked for to-go boxes. While transferring the rest of my meal (fettuccine with white cream and cheese sauce) into the box, I noticed something unusual under my bowl. It was covered in dried-on tomato sauce! I immediately called the waiter over, but his limited English wasn't helpful. He called the owner, and I showed him the dirty bowl. The owner looked at it and said, "We usually wash them." When I asked if he was serious, he shrugged his shoulders, almost as if to say, "What do you want me to do?" No apology, no offer of a discount, nothing! When I pressed him again, he gave me another shrug, completely indifferent to the situation. Instead of addressing the issue, he went into the kitchen, returned with a slice of cake, and claimed it was a "creme du caramel from Beverly Hills." He handed it to me and ushered us out the door. When we got home, it turned out to be a cheesecake, not even what was promised - but it was from Beverly Hills.... hmm... This experience was absolutely disgusting. The fact that they serve dirty dishes to new customers is beyond appalling, and the owner's complete lack of accountability is inexcusable. I will never return to this place, and I strongly advise others to avoid it as well.

Yelp
I was craving pasta as I didn't like the other foods choices. I went with linguine and clams. It was clearly disappointed. The clams were not fresh at all. The mini clams were probably from a can. And the sauce was way too thick. It should just be wine, garlic, and clam juice. What's up with all thickness? I wonder if it's cream? Anyway, the pasta is a little too soft. I was a little disappointed. The service was excellent. The restaurant is beautiful.

Yelp
Every time I'm passing through Bakersfield I plan an overnight just to experience this wonderful family owned establishment. It's a small venue and maybe that's what makes it so special. This Italian restaurant could go up against any in Vegas or a big city. Intimate atmosphere and meals are just amazing and the portions are large. The history of this family explains their success. So glad I don't live near here, because I would gain weight!! Can hardly wait to return.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a sweet experience. My wife and I were sat at a two seater near another two seater table which at first was a bit odd, however come to find out as we stepped closer to the table I realized the people at the other table was the doctor who delivered my baby and his wife! We had a nice dinner and even ended up connecting the table to them. I don't have many friends and my self esteem boost was recognized by my wife who got the hots for my manliness post dinner. The garlic cheese bread they serve before your meal tastes good and our server was great. The bathroom is in a parking garage however the homeless people outside do add to the ambiance.

Yelp
It was okay. Based on other ratings, we expected more. Maybe an off evening for them. We were on our way up north and wanted Italian for dinner in Bakersfield. Read some nice reviews and decided to pop on it. We were greeted by a nice host and seated quickly. She was actually very attentive. Waitress stopped by quickly after and she was very prompt on taking our order. We order the chicken piccata, linguine pescadora, and angel hair pomodoro. The food came out pretty quick. We were served bread before. Bread - the end piece was tough. Middle slices were decently soft but crust was dry The chicken piccata lack flavor. Had to add lemon. Not the usual tartness. Linguine pescadora came out in a medium size bowl plate and looks like it was slopped on like it was all cooked together. It was very salty. Decent amount of seafood but they were tiny pieces of scallops, fully peeled shrimp, a couple of clams and mussels. Also in it were clams. Definitely have had better. Angel hair pomodoro was also slopped onto a bowl plate. Flavoring was okay. Extremely hot, like it was cooked all together. Overall service was good but food was lacking.

Yelp
We were pleasantly surprised that we could get this great Italian food in Bakersfield. Truth is, we had never spent any time here in the downtown area. We usually get gas and keep going. Everything was superb! The food, service and the spot was neat and friendly.

Yelp
This place is so special in Bakersfield. True aunthentic Italian food and the dishes are top notch. The location is tucked away on the corner of the street where you can dine inside or outside. Service was great when we came by on a Friday evening. We had made restervations ahead of time and did not wait for a table once we checked in. The host was very friendly and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Overall very good service. I have been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Recently went back for my sisters 20th birthday dinner and we were happy to make this decision. The gnocchi with mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes was the star dish of the night. A 10 out of 10, the pasta was delicious and this place is not common for the Bakersfield area. The Ravioli Al forno was really good and the meat sauce has so much flavor! Would give that dish a 8 out of 10. However, the Alfredo sauce was pretty bland, just needs something more. Spaghetti was good and would rate that a 7 out of 10. Make sure to add the fresh permasian cheese that's at the table, that stuff is such a great add on. Please be sure to support this local Bakersfield resteraunt.

Yelp
Very disappointing dinner from start to finish. We were seated promptly as the restaurant was mostly empty. Dark interior with black tablecloths. Waited about 15 minutes before our waitress noticed we were there. Food came out almost a half hour later. Bread seemed like it was store bought. Soft and tasteless. Dinner salad was over dressed and lettuce was soggy. One small slice of tomato. Similar old looking lettuce on the salmon Caesar salad and the salmon was very overcooked and tasteless. My lasagna was barely heated through. Pasta was overcooked. Red sauce was ok. Overall a dinner disaster. Definitely would not go back.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Bakersfield. It is my favorite, Italian restaurant, and a perfect place to come for a wonderful dinner. We came on a busy night, with three downtown events happening all at the same time. We were served by Michael, who made sure that our order was rushed, that we had drinks, appetizers, and plenty of pepper when our meal arrived. I ordered the linguine with white clam sauce and my husband had the "one crab leg short of a cioppino" linguine pescadore. The restaurant was sure that our ticket was ready, with plenty of time for us to check out and make our event on time. If you would like great service, and even better food, go here!

Yelp
Service is not what it used to be. Food is obviously not the same as a few years ago. Sad to say one of our previous top recommendations for out of town friends now will no longer be graced with our family any longer. Just not worth the money. Sad
google avatar

Jor L.

Yelp
The food was amazing! I had the crab cakes and Gnocchi. The crab cakes we so flavorful, crisp on the outside and steamy on the inside. The sauce that comes with them is the perfect combination. The Gnocchi was cooked to perfection, the tomatoes were so flavorful, I almost could've had a plate of tomato's and I wouldn't been okay. The service was okay, my crab cakes came out frozen the first time but the second time they were perfect. Our waiter was super nice as well. The only thing I didn't like was the table we were seated at. It was the only table in this super awkward spot of the restaurant, but the restaurant was nice on the inside and they offer outdoor seating.

Yelp
What a gem! I always have a good time when I eat there, food is consistent and so delicious. Great for lunch and dinner, especially special occasions. Emily was out server and was attentive and food was perfect time. Cheers!

Yelp
We had such a great experience at Uricchio's. The staff were very polite and the service was fast. Me and my husband split the spaghetti with meatballs and it was huge, we could've actually split one order four ways! I would definitely recommend this family restaurant if you're looking for some great, authentic Italian food..

Kim N.

Yelp
We've been coming here for years. Hands-down the best Italian food in Bakersfield. Service is always impeccable and you cannot beat the chicken piccata with ravioli. Highly recommend.

Christine A.

Yelp
I realize this is a Bakersfield staple and I'll probably be shunned for leaving a three star review, but here goes nothing. We went on a late Saturday night. Of course it was buzzing, because like I said, it's a Bakersfield stable. Anyway, the place was buzzing and as a result our waitress was running around like a chicken with her head chopped off. When our waitress remembered us, it was decent service. She was nice, but needed a few reminders. The food was only okay. The pasta carbonara was thick and had mediocre flavor. They have gluten free pasta, so that's always a plus. The gluten free pasta was raviolis, which almost never happens. The sauce for the raviolis was only okay though. Will I go back? Yes. Is it in my top three for Italian places in Bakersfield? No.

Stephanie Q.

Yelp
Co-owner, Brian is AMAZING. Quiet and private location. Very grateful for the hospitality and amazing service. Love this place & love the amazing food!

Yelp
First time here . It's a beautiful set up, Customer Service was amazing, Food is outstanding. It looks small from outside , however it is not . Right when you walk in your greeted with the biggest smile , it's genuine smile . It's really nice on the inside . The toasted cheese bread is so yummy . The chicken piccata with pasta Alfredo, I didn't care the pasta Alfredo it was just okay but the chicken piccata was delicious an the sauce I couldn't get enough of the sauce , it's a creamy lemon sauce an it was perfect. Their bathrooms are outside but more like in a garage. I'm planning going back , I'll like to try their pasta Alfredo with shrimp . I high recommend this place . You will not be disappointed!!!

Yelp
Let me begin by saying, "Why haven't I eaten here sooner?" I was craving pasta and happened to be downtown, so I googled Italian cuisine and Uricchio's came up in my search. I was a few blocks away and headed over. Parking is atrocious but after circling, only twice, I found parking. Let me note, I visited on a Thursday at approximately noon or so. There were many empty tables, so immediate seating was not an issue. My waitress greeted me promptly and took my beverage order..iced tea, yeah boring. But I was working so wine was a definite no. I ordered the basil garlic/cheese bread, which was delicious. The bread was not toasted, which I would have preferred but nonetheless I enjoyed it. The bread was not overly garlicky and not greasy and just the right amount of basil. I recommend this item. For my entree, I had the lasagna...OMG! So delicious. The taste was on point, the sauce was not overly acidic and the pasta was cooked to perfection. I would definitely order this again and highly recommended it. I took a slice of carrot cake to go and let me tell you, it was so darn delicious and would definitely order it again and highly recommend it. The carrot cake is not made in house but the shop that bakes it does a fantastic job. (Since I took it to go, I forgot to snap a pic). Overall, the service was impeccable and attentive. The food was delicious, served hot and a great portion. I would definitely enjoy another meal at Uricchio's and highly recommend this establishment.

Yelp
Very disappointing! Our server was very overwhelmed with a large party which carried over to our table and the rest she was handling. We went three times during the appetizer, salads, and dinner that our water and tea glasses sat empty for five to ten minutes. We asked for bread and was told they had ran out but then a few minutes later they brought bread to the large party table. The Sanddabs that are usually wonderful were under cooked and soggy. I was truly let down by a place that we love so much.

Yelp
Love Uricchio's have been going there for years.. If you like fish. Theirs is very good. Wonderful desserts

Baynes B.

Yelp
Uricchio's is a family favorite for special occasions or just a good night out. The food is great and the service is top notch. Our favorites are the chicken piccata with Ravioli Alfredo and Sand Dabs. Their steaks are really good, too. Almost forgot to mention their clam chowder is exceptional. It's nice to get away from the chains and support a local family business in downtown Bakersfield.

Mark L.

Yelp
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Uricchio's. Brian treated us like royalty. Comped us bread and a delicious tiramisu. The manager stopped by to check in. He insisted on giving us an incredible lasagna to go when we told him about a meal in Rome. Delicious food and amazing service. We will come back many times!

Yelp
I came here on a Thursday for lunch with a friend. There was no wait and we were seated right away-plus. The hostess walked us to our table near the window and I noticed the chair was dirty with food crumbs--minus. The waitress came to take our drinks and brought our bread with appetizer plates and silverware. As she took our order, I noticed something crawling on the table near my plate and it turned out to be a COCKROACH!!! --Major Minus!! I tried to sweep it away with my menu and the waitress downplayed it saying it was a spider. I told her no, it was a cockroach, and it turns out there was another dead cockroach on the floor next to our table. She took our order which came out nearly 45 minutes later. When we asked when our food was coming out, she said it was basically my fault for ordering a soup and that's why the order wasn't submitted. I just know I am NEVER coming back here again. There were just too many negatives with this dining experience. Not only was the service bad, but their entire interior is outdated, old, and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a week.

Uricchio's has been a Bakersfield staple for a while and for a reason. Tucked away on the corner of 17th street I usually don't venture to downtown much but obviously I should be cause I've been missing out big time. Living in Bakersfield for over 20 years I've heard of Uricchio's numerous times, I'm ashamed to say I have not be here, until yesterday. Let me tell you from beginning to the end the experience was great. We got started off with some bread and butter that was okay not great but we were starving so it was a welcoming sight. Then we went the Italian sausage appetizer which was delicious served with there marinara sauce that was delicious. On to the entree we decided to both go with the chicken Parmesan I had it with a side of penne and meat sauce and my wife with fettuccine Alfredo. Unlike most places you could tell the chicken was not the pre breaded packaged stuff. My wife said it was delicious but the Alfredo sauce was lacking the cheese flavor she enjoys from other places, but still good.Overall it was a great experience I would recommend this spot and put it among my favorite Italian restaurants in Bakersfield.
