I had a chicken sandwich with cilantro and pesto it was good, though not perfect. I also ordered a pistachio coffee; it was nice but a bit too sweet. Overall, I liked the place for a first visit. It was definitely worth trying at least once.

Great Location, but Limited Selection and a Bit of a Wait Urth Caffé in Laguna Beach has a beautiful setting and a lot of potential—perfect for a coastal coffee break or dessert run. I stopped by craving a scone and something sweet to go, but was disappointed by the limited selection in the bakery case. The café was pretty busy, and while the staff was doing their best, the wait time was longer than I expected. After standing in line for a while and not seeing what I came for, I ended up leaving without ordering. I’ve had great experiences at other Urth locations, so I’d give this one another try—but next time I’ll come with more patience and a backup plan.

I went around noon, and it was a bit busy — I had to wait about 20 minutes to order. Both indoor and outdoor seating were available. The atmosphere was warm and pleasant. The cappuccino and marble cake were delicious!

Food was okay, but not great. Flavors were muted. The Mexican omelet tasted like an omelette, but not a Mexican omelet. Same for the Italian omelet. They was no flavorful or spicy salsa. In fact the salsa I ordered appeared to be a mix of warm marinara and salsa, very strange. Overall, for this price I would expect a better meal. That doesn't mean it was bad, it just wasn't commensurate with the cost.

This is such a nice restaurant. Came here yesterday for an afternoon late lunch and came away very impressed. After placing our orders, me and my friends sat outside and it only took 5 minutes for them to bring out our food and drinks. Everything tasted natural, even the pizza. It tasted like pizza I had in Rome many years ago, which surprised me because I’m used to pizza tasting like cardboard in the US. The cheese and bread tasted fresh, and I very much enjoyed trying out their cheese panini, the chicken with cheese panini, and their Mac n cheese. The only reason I’m deducting a star is it can be difficult to find parking near this restaurant. There’s pretty much only on street parking and most of it is paid metered parking. Other than that, 0 complaints.

Delicious Treats with Partial Ocean Views (But Mind Your Budget) Urth Caffe in Laguna Beach is a spot I consider a special treat rather than an everyday destination. Their prime location with partial ocean views already sets a pleasant tone for your visit, but it's their unique offerings that keep me coming back despite the steep prices. Their breakfast selections are consistently good across the board - fresh ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and generous portions. However, what truly shines for me is their mocha granita - a perfect balance of coffee, chocolate, and ice that's refreshing and indulgent all at once. It's my go-to order regardless of the season. One standout feature that deserves special praise is their milk alternative options. While many cafes now offer the standard oat or almond milk, Urth takes it a step further with pistachio milk, which adds a subtle nutty richness to their beverages that's truly special. This kind of thoughtful detail elevates the entire experience. Speaking of pistachios, their pistachio croissant is nothing short of magnificent - buttery, flaky pastry with the perfect amount of pistachio filling that's not too sweet. It's easily one of the best pastries in Orange County. The only reason I don't visit more frequently is the price point. Urth Caffe definitely positions itself as a premium establishment, and your bill reflects that. A coffee and pastry can quickly approach what you might pay for a full breakfast elsewhere. Still, for those occasions when you want to treat yourself to something special in a beautiful setting, Urth Caffe delivers a memorable experience that's worth saving up for. Just be prepared for your wallet to feel a bit lighter on the way out.

There's always a seagull by the globe at the cafe and it's an incredible sight to see. You can get a cool breeze while having brunch or breakfast. Its a great place for hangouts, and the view is breathtaking. Its also pet friendly and kid friendly, all the times I went there I made a new pet friend 🧡 and my niece was sleeping in her stroller because its that peaceful.

Google
Best Urth Caffe I've been to out of the one in LA and Pasadena. Service is respectable, and the view with the seating is really nice. I would come here again as it made my beach experience great. Got the NY sandwich and the king french toast. I dont remember the food names

Yelp
Food: so many great options for vegetarians! Salad was fresh, came with specialty fruit and nut bread. The huevo ranchero pizza was creative, delicious, and came out hot. Service: order and pay at the register, so expect minimal service directly at the table. Getting side plates from the kitchen was a little awkward, but cashier was friendly and helpful. Ambiance: lovely patio with heaters and plants makes you forget you're right off the PCH.

Yelp
You come for the vibe and because there's nothing offensive about the place but as far as the food goes, it's pretty bland and the service is not great either. We came on a Saturday midday and not surprisingly it was pretty busy. While you're waiting in line, you'll want to figure out you want to eat because once you get to the counter to order, they're pretty impatient regarding your order. They were pretty short and impatient, which, maybe if they're dealing with constant people they get annoyed but this is their job. We got a wide variety of food, the Diablo panini sandwich, a pizza, a Mac and cheese, a salad, and their chicken soup. We also ordered drinks which will take a VERY long time to make (we didn't get outside until we finished eating) so be prepared for that. My panini was pretty bland although the jalapeños were pretty spicy. The soup had a sour taste which I didn't like. The pizza was very average. The best part was the salad. A very good vinegarette albeit a little heavy and fresh ingredients. But otherwise it was a disappointing meal. My drink was the Japanese latte which, given they have Macha drinks, I thought this would be more like a brown tea but it was a green tea latte. Not great. They have excellent desserts and pastries, which, if we had, would have been a higher rating but only by one star. I know they have go

Yelp
Urth Cafe is a great spot for coffee enthusiasts and those looking for a nice place to hangout The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax or catch up with friends. I tried the smoked salmon and bagel , it did not disappoint. The combination of flavors was delightful, and the smoked salmon added a nice touch to the dish. The coffee I found it a bit too sweet for my taste. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout my visit. Prices are medium to high. $18-$22 per plate. This is a great spot, but on weekends, there's always a line even after lunch. Difficult to find parking.

Yelp
Always crowded place but nice to have a quick bite outside in a beautiful sunny day. Parking is a challenge. Food price is reasonable. Good for casual dining near beach.

Yelp
Cute place to grab brunch by the beach. No parking lot, there is street parallel parking for $2.50/hr that you can walk 5-10min from. Waiting in line just to order could take 30min-1hr itself so I paid for 2hours of parking. I came around 11am on a Saturday and the line was unbelievably long for something you self seat (we waited in line for 45min). I got the sprout sandwhich ($16.50) full size. The sandwich was really good and it came with a side salad with a vinaigrette sauce. The side salad gave me and my friend diarrhea. It did not sit well and it kinda felt like a knife stabbed me in the stomach. I know it wasnt the sandwich bc i ate the other half the next day and I was ok. The side salad was the only thing me and my friend shared. Also if you dont like pigeons, be prepared. I had no problem but there tends to be a lot of pigeons that will come and sit on your table or fly around the area. I thought it was cute but other people looked annoyed. Overall an ok experience but with the long line, paying for parking, and the bad salad, I dont know if I'd come here again

Yelp
In our last days of the year, my family and I planned to visit Laguna Beach. They came to visit CA and Urth Cafe holds a special please in our hearts. The famous Spanish Latte is just fenomenal and you cannot go wrong with it! However our experience with this location it was truly disappointing. Waitress and barista were so rude, unfriendly and with a horrible attitude. We love this place but that type of service should not be allowed specially when the waiting was over an hour just for coffees!! The orange location or the LA Downtown are the best!

Yelp
We came here on a Friday afternoon, it was a bit crowded so we waited about 15 min to order. We ordered: - Chocolate Pistachio Waffle ($20.42) it was a Belgian waffle drizzled with Chocolate Hazelnut Cream and Pistachio Butter topped with matcha cream, matcha powder, and chopped pistachios + some berries. This was really upsetting for its price. The berries did not seem fresh at all and it tasted old and mushy. The waffles were not crispy either as it was nowhere near warm/hot. It felt as if they left the waffles on the counter for a while and finally served it when someone ordered the waffles. The pistachio butter did not taste like pistachio either :// so disappointing. I'll give another star for it being aesthetic, but taste wise it was sad. Not worth the money at all.

Yelp
Love this place! Everything is delicious, if you want my honest opinion. If you want to avoid long line, try to come during off hours and you might also have a better chance of finding a parking space too. They have a wide selection of choices to choose from, (you will never feel limited) You order first and then find a seat (open seating). The server will deliver food to you when it's ready. The downside is, since there are so many ppl, bathroom maybe an issue. It's not very clean and most of the time, you need to wait cause both are gender bathrooms.

Yelp
9/4/24 Wednesday 4pm...cricket cricket No one in line at Urth Caffe!? I have never encountered this, no line at this restaurant when it's usually a 30 minute wait just to order! I will take the win We found parking about s block away, SCORE!!! I ordered an Turkey Panini for Hubby & my usual Urth Salad. Our order was up by the time I returned from my restroom visit. Quick & painless, I'm on a roll. I should buy lotto or drive to Vegas lol. Hubby's panini was delicious! He really liked it, it also was accompanied with spinach salad. The ciabatta bread was toasty & the turkey was savory, full of flavor. My salad was superb, unlike last time when it was served with some other weird dressing (it's supposed to be a vinaigrette). Plus, my bread was fresh & not dry/stale like last time. "Today was a good day, I didn't even have to use an AK"

Yelp
We came here around 11:30am on a Saturday. I was probably 6 orders behind. It gave me time to glance the menu. They have 95% of the seats outdoor and some indoors. The indoors have a homey appearance. Outdoors have the overhead heaters and patio heaters. So you place your order, take your number and find your table. I was too tired to decide which to order, and I saw this Urth cafe panini pictured in a frame. So went with that. It comes with a side of potatoes/salad/fresh fruit. Also ordered blueberry muffin, chocolate pistachio waffle (must order) and urth cafe breakfast (eggs, toast, sausage, bacon, potatoes and grilled tomatoes). Found an outdoor table and it had a nice view of the pacific in the distant. While waiting for our food to arrive, noticed trays that had thick slabs of bread a.ka. French toast. Seems like a popular order. There is a table with paper cups and a water dispenser. When the food arrived, it looked good, it smelled good and tasted even better. Now I understand where there is always a line here.

Yelp
One of the best brunch places in Laguna Beach! Order at the counter, get your number, and in no time a hot plate of deliciousness is served. Plenty of outdoor seating with 2 and 4 person tables. Appreciated the umbrella shade. Loved both the - Poach di Parma with prosciutto on sprouted bread. Prosciutto went great with the fresh cantaloupe. - Eggs Salmone with smoked salmon and crème fraîche dill. Recommend getting medium poached eggs! - HUGE cup of local coffee. You get a free refill for dine in. Water is self-serve.

Yelp
What a cozy vibe! I went here on a Friday evening in the fall. Street parking was a little tough. You order at the register. The Green Rose Latte was beautiful and tasty. I usually love smoked salmon pizzas, and this one had some really cool elements like the greenery on the top and the side seasonings that came with it. However, for a "fresh" pizza like this, I haven't seen (nor did I particularly like) it being put on top of a pizza with tomato sauce and mozzarella. The freshness of the smoked salmon felt like it clashed with the classic, warm pizza on the bottom.

Yelp
We walked by this restaurant and we're actually on our way somewhere else... But we ran into someone who told us to turn around and headed back with us because this place has the best breakfast and brunch! We waited in a fairly long line but it went quick and we found a seat outside. Our food was delivered quickly and the atmosphere was perfect. The menu is awesome... It was really hard to pick just one thing to get! And the desserts looked stunning!

Yelp
You can't go wrong visiting Urth cafe, it's always busy so be prepared for a wait time. Since this is laguna beach, parking is always an issue. The food was amazing and great portion, we sat on the patio which was a great vibe by the fire and enjoying the summer night. Shoutout to the behind the scenes staff! They were able to help with cleaning a table for us and helping us grab a few extra chairs. They go very unrecognized so make sure to tip them directly as they do all the food services and cleaning! If it wasn't for them this review would have been very different!

Yelp
There is always a line queuing up outside especially on weekends. The nice touch is they have take away menus outside so you're ready to place the order and water dispenser with cups. The display case entices you with pastries that are giant sized. We ordered: King French toast - it's a huge slab of bread with toppings that can easily be shared it's too much for one so be warned! Pistachio chocolate waffle - disappointed not how a waffle should taste it's soggy and not fluffy and crispy. Earl Grey tiramisu cheesecake - huge can be shared but too sweet and can't taste the tea flavor. The best part are their drinks. Other than that my opinion is they are overrated there are other better breakfast brunch places.

Yelp
My favorite spot to eat in Laguna. Ambience is always perfect, great patio seating with heat lamps and super close to the main laguna strip. Finding street parking just a few blocks behind the restaurant is always easy. My go to is the tasty egg panini, and the lasagna never fails. The wait for the food can get a tiny bit long, but it's because the place is so popular. Always have a good experience here overall

Yelp
Love the seating & Ambiance music is in good taste. Ordering went smoothly however it ends there... They brought our food but not our latte and tea.. we waited and summoned for help.. STILL WAITED ANOTHER 10-15 min!! SOLUTION; Bring the food & beverages/drinks TOGETHER!!

Yelp
Such a cute little cafe and they elevated the acai bowl! I was thoroughly impressed by the presentation as well as the taste. One of the best acai bowls I ever had. Loved the touch or dragon fruit. I requested no coconut and got these cacao chips on it. Absolutely delicious. This place stays really busy and they got my friend and I's order out quickly. I was just visiting my friend in California. This place also had a lot of amazing baked goodies too and I would definitely come back if I ever found myself in California again.

Yelp
I came here since I was near the area for the sawdust festival and they always have such great tea. I brought my computer to work here and it was very relaxing having a tea and some soup watching the sunset turn to night sitting outside. Definitely an ambient place to work and just sit outside in peace. The staff is friendly and nice as well so that's always great!

Yelp
Great location and ambiance. Food good service excellent . Outside seating the best. Try tea!

Yelp
His Urth Café is situated off N. Coast hwy on the northwest corner of Aster Street and N. Coast hwy. The ambiance is very nice with their heat lamps. The weather is a cooler today at 58°. We shared the King French toast. It was absolutely delicious!! And we had their latté. Service was excellent. And Geraldo, was great to clean up the table for us before and after. Thanks Urth Café team foe our delicious breakfast and service!!

Yelp
There is always a line but it does move fast. What doesn't move fast is the service once you order and find a seat. We waited about 40mins or so for the food which came before the drinks. The food also did not come at the same time. One person at our table got their food first which then got cold while waiting for the rest of us to get our food. Also since the drinks came pretty late when we were done with our food it kind of ruined the experience a bit. Parking is difficult, you have to use street parking and possibly pay for it too. With the heavy wait times for food you make sure to add money for more parking time while you eat. The food was pretty delicious. It was hard to complain about waiting because the food was totally worth it. Unfortunately they were out of their pistachios' options. We had the Rising sun latte and an Italian latte. Both drinks were pretty good. I had the Poach Di Parma. I totally recommend it. Especially if you order it with runny eggs. We also had the hash browns to share which were not bad but also not very special. We also had the tasty egg panini which was very tasty and full filling. Totally recommend it. Lastly we had the turkey panini sandwich. Also very delicious and filling. Overall, if one could at least get the drinks faster and the food for the table at the same time I would recommend it more. Unfortunately the wait overall to eat was 50mins from getting in line to the food being at our table. Dont come here hangry lol but do eventually give it a try.

Yelp
We had breakfast at Urth in Laguna Beach. The food was excellent and the service was really good. And the ambiance of the outdoor seating is great right next to the PCH. We had the Eggs Benedict Canyon with Salmon and the French Toast King.

Yelp
Food is pretty good, but usually has a long line to order and can take a long time to come out. Good place to meet girlfriends for brunch and to sit outside (weather permitting!).

Joanna G.

Yelp
Good food and atmosphere, very gluten free and vegan friendly. I definitely recommend it. Give yourself time to find parking on the street as it is a beach community and lots of tourists. We got lucky with metered parking right in front.

Yelp
Absolutely adore Urth Caffé! I had been here quite a few times when I lived here and it never disappointed. It is such a cute spot for lunch, dinner, or even a late evening dessert as well. Their drinks are always so yummy and I enjoyed their lasagna this time as well. The outdoor patio is so cute and has a fantastic view of Laguna Beach. Service is always quick and easy and servers are so helpful! Can't wait to be back again!

Yelp
Laguna Beach California is known for brunch as the local say. Brunch options are plenty, but if you have opportunity stop by Urth Caffe for a unique European style breakfast like beautiful poached eggs on top of delicious toast served with salmon or ham serve the side of fruit. Highly recommend their Manhattan mudd dark roast coffee . Sunny outdoor patio great for your mornings! They bring out your food to you and if you dine in you get one free refill of your coffee! #coffee #lagunabeach #european #breakfast

Yelp
Urth Caffe holds a special place in my heart during visits to my best friend in Laguna Beach, just a short stroll from her home. Despite its location facing PCH, the tropical atmosphere on the patio is truly uplifting. At Urth Caffe they focus on "sourcing local, sustainable, and whenever possible organic ingredients and have become pioneers in health-conscious coffee." With an abundance of lovely breakfast options, whether your cravings lean towards sweet or savory, vegan, GF, vegetarian, meat lover or plant based--Urth Caffe inspires you to savor every moment. I love THE SALMON SCRAMBLE: Three eggs with natural smoked salmon, Roma tomatoes and chives on (optional) gluten free toast--I prefer mine made with egg whites. I also love the Eggs Salmone: lemon mascarpone, fresh avocado, natural smoked salmon and wild arugula, topped with poached eggs, chopped salsa with capers and fresh dill (I had mine on gf toast). I can't contain my excitement for the GF waffles and pancakes! They look absolutely divine, and I'm eagerly counting down the days until I can indulge in them during my next trip to Laguna Beach!

Yelp
A quintessential LA spot. Good brunch spot for some LA breakkie and salad. I had the eggs benedict and it was great! The hollandaise sauce was a bit cheesy here but I enjoyed the meal. 4/5 I usually get their chicken pesto panini and that is DELICIOUS! 5/5 The lines are long but they go by fast. Everyone is very nice.

Yelp
Great place to have lunch. Loved the outdoor seating. Definitely worth the drive and food is amazing quality.

Yelp
There was quite a big line when a few of us went on Saturday around brunch time (understandably so) but it moved really quicky. We weren't even in line for very long and someone took our order while we were in line so we would just have to pay at the cashier. This would have been great, in theory, but the person had somehow added four drinks to our order that we never asked for, and my friend who had paid didn't even notice initially. We sat down (outside there was lots of seating, it was quite nice. Inside seating was also cute and cozy) and our food came out but our coffee never did (we had ordered a large french press for the table). Normally, places like this bring out the coffee first but our coffee didn't come and we were almost done with our food. I got the D'Lox Pizza (salmon pizza) and it was actually delicious. The sauce and the cheese and overall proportions were all really well done. I think this was everyone's favorite at our table. The salmon scramble and breakfast burrito were good as well. We had asked our server for our coffee several times and they said it was on the way. Eventually, with our food done, we checked the receipt to make sure we had even ordered the coffee and it wasn't OUR mistake and it was then that we saw the four OTHER drinks that had been added to our receipt (a boba drink, something matcha, a latte, and something else... I really don't know where these came from) along with our french press. Hilariously, none of them had been delivered to our table. When we brought this to the front cashier's attention they fixed and refunded us for the added drinks but that was the extent of their "apology." And then they proceeded to take even more time until they finally brought out our french press. After all this wait, it was truly disappointing to drink the coffee not just because it was out so late but it was not good coffee. At all. We ended up going a few stores down and getting some DELICIOUS coffee from the Lost Bean after. Overall, Urth is not the worst but it's pricy, service is not great, coffee is terrible, but the food is not bad and the area is really nice. Next time I might just order a salmon pizza to go and save myself the trouble.

Yelp
The customer service was not great. First place we have been to in Laguna Beach that showed they are not used to new people. The waffle was completely over the top(waaay too much going on) and although it was over the top, mine was missing items from the photo. The reason I gave 1 star is...1) the waffle wasn't good and 2) as we were leaving, we decided to bring our plates and trash inside because the birds were definitely trying to eat food left over the tables. As we were walking our plates and trash in, a waitress just walked past us. Then, we asked her "where should we put our plates and trash." She just shrugged and said "you were supposed to leave it on the table." We explained, the birds would've attacked the food and we didn't want to leave it a mess. She didn't say "thank you" or anything. We had to ask her "well can you take them from us?" Ambiance is beautiful. Just the service wasn't amazing.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots growing up in Socal! Have never been there for breakfast but finally had the chance to try. The pizzas are usually my go to for lunch/dinner. The Brioche French toast with nutella was not too sweet and tastes very good! Would get it again. We also ordered the panini with prosciutto, eggs and cheese. I love the taste and tomato sauce that came with it too. Also ordered a pistachio latte, love the presentation. Service was friendly.

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday around 10:30 am with a party of 4, and it was surprisingly easy to find seating! Service was okay, they gave us our food in a timely manner but the reason why I say it was okay was two of us ordered juices that we didn't get until way after our food was arrived... I even had to go check on it in the kitchen. Overall the experience was good and I would come back again! They have a pretty extensive food menu that can fit any preference- sweet, savory, healthy, vegan! What I oredered: I got a green juice and the pizza huevos rancheros, and that's all you really need!! Omg breakfast pizza?? How did I not know this was a thing! It was amazing, crust was crispy and the pizza was loaded with beans, soy chorizo, avocado, almond cheese and two eggs which I chose sunny side up (fyi you can request however style you like it to be made) this is one pizza I will come back for!

Yelp
Food 4/5 Service 5/5 Interior/Ambiance 4.5/5 Overall the food and ambiance at Urth is always good although the prices in relation to the quality of food is kind of off. Though it's a cute cafe style spot, just expect to spend a little higher than you usually do for various items.

Yelp
Urth Caffe is a delicious and aesthetic lunch spot to grab a bite to eat with your friends! This Urth Caffe had great and attentive service, what I really liked was that despite a long line, they were able to get our food very fast and consistently! Seating is based on the front, so it's first come first serve, its pretty packed but I'd say always go for the outdoor seats with the beachside view. I ordered the Italian omelette, whereas my friend ordered the Egg Panini. Both were super delicious and flavorful and packed with an assortment of dipping sauces that really enhanced the dish! Prices are fair and reasonable and service was on point with free water stands on the side. What I would prefer is if I was able to get more for what I'm paying for, but again, thats just college student complaints.

Yelp
Desserts are yummy haven't tried the food yet but all the drinks I've gotten have been really delicious. Service is quick when ordering but the place in general is pretty busy so it does take about 20-30 minutes depending on time of day for you to get your drink for dine in. Other than that the ambiance is great and cozy.

Yelp
Such a cute cafe built on values that align with me! The fireplace is a beautiful scene with a hot matcha latte. For sure grab the pistachio tiramisu, haven't had anything like that before!!

Yelp
I have been going here for years and with many others, they have a wide variety of selections for food, drinks, and dessert. The food is always fresh and plated beautifully. It's a perfect place to go during the summer and even winter for warm drinks at night. It is located across the street from the beach and the beautiful gazebo, where you can take a walk to digest the food. You pay first when you order and the food/drinks are brought to your table shortly afterwards. The only complaint I have is related to their drinks, as I have experienced not getting my drink till the end of the meal several times and I always have to follow up in order to get it. Otherwise great spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

Yelp
I Had to wait in line for 15 min to be told in a an unpleasant way at the counter that I have to wait an extra 40 min for a spanish latte . This place used to be one of my favorite spots in Laguna Beach , I won't be going there anymore.

Yelp
Food is great but horrible customer service, Jacquelyn D was super rude when she took my order. She has horrible customer service skills and should not be at the front counter taking orders if she's going to be rude to customers.

Yelp
I had a really great experience at this location of Urth Caffé. Parking can be a little challenging, so you might have to park and walk to get here. During the time we came, we had fairly good service with our food coming out very quickly after ordering. The ingredients and flavors were absolutely delicious, with each bite tasting uniquely satisfying. The ambiance was awesome! Super great dining areas inside and outside with nice views. They also have lovely heat warmers which keep guests cozy and add a nice touch of ambiance. Also a very short walk to the beach. I definitely recommend dining here!

Yelp
Honestly the perfect healthy, light, yummy beach food. I loveeeeee the tuna sandwich. The ciabatta bread is delicious! I also liked the sprout sandwich, but I think I would get the tuna over it if you're a tuna person. My sister loved her tasty egg panini. She describes it as a panini pressed omelet. Yum! Obviously all the desserts and coffees are to die for. Really can't go wrong here, AND it is super cute and lots of seating. Easy enough parking around the way as well!

Yelp
Loved the iced matcha latte. Loved the seasonal pumpkin pancakes, definitely recommend trying those. We also got the huevos rancheros burrito, it was good but really pricey for the size of it. Also. Very cute place to eat outside for lunch or brunch. They stop serving breakfast at 1pm on weekdays and 2pm on weekends. We tried this place on the 5th and we definitely loved the iced matcha and I mentioned I wanted to come back and try the bakery items to my partner. So on the 7th (my birthday) Lo and behold I woke up to the iced matcha and some of the cakes for my birthday. It was very special. I loved the blueberry cheesecake, I would not recommend the berries and cream cake though.

Yelp
Urth Caffe has always been an LA staple when it comes to cute cafes with food. I'm so glad that they branched out to OC as well, so that way I can still enjoy their matcha without having to worry about the traffic to LA! Located in Laguna Beach right across from the ocean, Urth Caffe offers such a relaxing and coastal vibe in their little cottage. They have plenty of heated outdoor seating available, in addition to their cute interior seating. Parking is extremely limited, as they only have a small lot behind the establishment and the rest of it being street parking, which gets really crowded for the beach too. My boyfriend and I came for dinner and shared their Mediterranean Platter, D'Lox Pizza, and their blended green tea with boba. This was a lot of food for the two of us, as we weren't the hungriest at the time. The pizza is definitely on the smaller size, and easily could be for a single individual. It was a classic pizza topped with fresh arugula and smoked salmon. This was a refreshing pizza to enjoy after a long day, but I will say it's very small for what you pay for. Is it delicious, definitely! But for me, this was more of a "treat yourself out" type of meal. The Mediterranean Platter was definitely larger and more of shareable size. It came with very freshly made hummus, olives, pita bread, feta cheese, artichokes, falaffels, couscous, and pickled bell peppers. I loved how the hummus was so fresh that you could really taste the garbanzo beans, rather than it just being flooded with olive oil. It was definitely a lighter meal to enjoy and a great one to share! The green tea with boba has always been a classic that I enjoy! I prefer it blended and I love how it's not overbearingly sweet. My one critique on the drink would be their boba -- it's not terrible but it's a little too hard for my liking. Overall, Urth Caffe still remains such a classic spot to visit when in Southern California, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting and wanting to treat themself out to a cute meal, drink, and dessert!

Yelp
It was an acceptable short wait to order our food and quickly found a table outside by the fountain. The food came at a decent wating time. The vegan patty melt was the last one to arrive. I so enjoyed the aesthetic and taste of this place. The eggs Benedict, French toast king with acai, and Thai tea and the vegan panini was unforgettable. This was one of the best french toast I've ever had. The combination of the fruits and the cube sized toast was really elevated by the acai. Worth the extra few dollars. The egg Benedict was so yokey and rich in color and taste. The Thai tea was probably one of the best Ive tasted. There's an added flavor to it that I haven't tasted in any other Thai teas and I already miss it. The matcha Tiramisu was alright. It looked better than it tasted. The matcha was generous and definitely big enough to share.

Yelp
Urth Caffé has a little special place in my heart and will forever remind me of my 2016 Kylie tumblr era lol. I've only ever gone to the one in Santa Monica/Los Angeles until I visited this location. It's just as beautiful and can get busy. Food and drinks are always a hit or miss. Staff are friendly.
