On a Snowy Day, Utopia Bagels is open! So grateful to have this wonderful bagel shop in Long Island City!💕⛄️🤣 We ordered LES, the bagel is phenomenal; fresh & delicious 😋! Dining in is a great experience! Definitely will come back for more! 😁🙌👍🏻👏🏻

I visited this place today and ordered an Everything Bagel with scallion cream cheese and salmon along with a lime sparkling water. The atmosphere is really cozy and inviting and I enjoyed the vibe. When I arrived there was no line but it quickly got busy and a long line formed. The service was still fast and friendly. The bagel was delicious with great flavor and fresh ingredients. I really enjoyed it. The only point to consider is the price which feels a bit overpriced compared to other places I know. Even so the quality is very good and I would definitely come back and recommend the experience.

I started a new routine where I go to Utopia once a month for breakfast as a treat to myself. So far every single bagel has been amazing! The Oreo cream cheese with French Toast bagel is my favorite so far. Super excited for my next visit!

The well know Utopia Bagels is expanding their footprint into Long Island City. An area that was once seedy, without the tall steel and glass buildings and now crawling wall to wall with transplants. The highlight of Long Island City used to be the PS1 Sunday school parties and the diner. But I digress. Back to the bagel shop review. Have to say they have Delicious ice coffee. I love the flavor. The everything bagel tasted w scallion cream cheese was bountiful generous w/ the cream cheese. Smooth, creamy and tasty. The bagel is easy to chew. Soft and crispy. Exception bagel and cream cheese combo. I see why they are at the top. They didn’t skimp on the package I g. Good paper to wrap. Custom prints. Event the Togo paper bag is quality. Seating is comfortable. They even have couches a Very soft cushioned bench seating and chairs. Great art work on the walls and a customized arcade game. *difficult to find a parking space.

Ordered on uber eats delivery since I had a gift card and wanted some grub before working from home. Everything was extremely tasty. I was surprised they had egg everything bagel. I got that with scallion cream cheese. I like to put the home fries in the bagel or eat them together in the same bite. Yes weird I know but don't knock it till you try it! I'd definitely reorder. Bae should try this.

I rlly wanted to give this place a chance, but my angry bird sandwich sourdough bread was burnt unfortunately. I only realized this after I came home to eat it. It also took a while for the sandwich to come out but it shouldn’t be hard to toast bread. Sadly disapppointed.

I have been coming to Utopia my whole life starting with the original location. I’ve visited every utopia in the city so far and have only had amazing experiences in all locations. The staff do everything they can to assist and provide quality customer service in addition to keeping the line moving and running like a well oiled machine. The lic location is no less than a pleasure to be in. I came week 2 then weekly watching the store grow better and better each time. They’ve listened to all suggestions I’ve had thus far and now take cash again- thank god! My only suggestion in addition to the affordable drinks and fruits is to carry dr. Brown’s Cel-ray soda. It’s delicious and pairs perfectly. Each team member laughs at my corny jokes and it’s so much fun inside. They spell my name a millions ways and we all joke about it- laughs all around. It would also be a great job to land to find some comromdarie at a cool workplace especially in these hard times. There’ are games for kids and great artwork on the wall. In essence, this is a dream bagel shop in the world of nyc and beyond. If I could live anywhere I’d suggest utopia jump on the bandwagon and expand! It could be global- let the world try the best nyc bagel can offer! For a utopian society- this place is heaven on earth! :) Shoutouts to Daisy C, the owners, those who won’t even accept tips! Tip for everyone- tip these guys- it’s the utopia way!

Bagels quality was out of this world! They put really good amount of cheese and it’s just the perfect ratio! Definitely recommend this place

Rating: 7/10 Date Last Visited: 1/19/2026 I ordered the Worth It bagel ($16.75). The bagel contained cream cheese, lox, capers, onions, and tomatoes. They gave a generous serving of the lox, and it went well with the cream cheese and everything bagel. The bagel was a bit too crispy in my opinion, but the overall bagel sandwich was quite good as all the ingredients went well with each other. Compared to the top bagels in the city, Utopia is a bit lacking, but still very solid. There's very few bagel spots in LIC, so this is a great addition to the area. Overall, I would recommend this place if you live in LIC and want bagels but don't want to travel into Manhattan.

Came on a busy Sunday for a morning pick me up. Def packed but they're moving quick and constantly making fresh bagels. It was def too packed for seating, the standing waiting was already getting a little crowded so we just took it to go. Probably took around 10 min to get everything ~ For a busy Sunday, we weren't bothered. The kitchen is moving and packed, they're honestly killing it :)) We grabbed 2 iced lattes and 2 bagels. Actually loveddd their coffee, needed the extra shot of espresso and they delivered. Got a Lox bagel, added cucumber slices. Also got "The Freak" - Bacon Egg Cheese with Hashbrown and Jalapeños The actual bagels were great, good texture and bite. The lox was fresh, I'd ask for less cream cheese next time but if you love a good schmear, I feel like they do a decent one without it being a blob. It looks like the Lox layer is missing but it was PACKED in there. The Freak was yummy, the jalapeños and hot sauce really added a little extra and eggs were made well.

Ate their L.E.S PASTRAMI, FRIED EGG & SWISS. At first I was skeptical eating pastrami for breakfast but it actually came out pretty good. They say Utopia bagels and Curleys are the best bagel shops in Queens. I have to agree, I can't choose which is better. I have a slight bias to curley's since I went there first but Utopia is definitely a solid choice if you're in the neighborhood or nearby. Highly recommend their LES.

If only you could smell the good toasted bagel smell in the area from a block away through my video!!! You can never go wrong with Utopia Bagels!!! NY bagels are the absolute BEST!! It's probably in the water! There are so many bagel options and choices for topping. Best part is you KNOW they are fresh. I'd definitely return to this location or any other Utopia Bagel in NY. *This is NOT the location with the giant bagel pizza*

First time in New York and we heard amazing things about this place. And they were all right! This place was absolutely amazing I ordered a cheddar and jalapeno bagel with scallion cream cheese and it was amazing!! I also ordered a coffee and have never in my life tasted such good coffee. I never really liked the taste of coffee and covered it over with sweeteners, come to find that I just wasn't having the right kinds!! I also got decaf and it was amazing! The guys at the counter were super nice and helpful. The overall environment was cozy and welcoming . Will be going back to bring some bagels back home.

very very good bagel , the price point is pretty high though so that's why it's 4/5! the food: both hot sandwich bagel and lox were great. i think the toppings aren't that much for the price , like the lox bagel comes out to almost $15+... but the bagel itself has a great crust and chewy interior. i ate the other half the day after, and it's stlll the same great texture. the space: it's pretty big but seating is by the door and it gets veryyyy cold lol the service: not memorable

The omelet platter is a great value. In addition, it comes with a bagel or toast. I ate at Utopia Bagels. There are tables, couches and bar seating. The line moves quickly and staff are very friendly. The food was prepared fresh to order and very well.

Sorry but any rating lower than 4 stars can't be trusted! I want to first start by asking the reviewer on here that complained WHICH OTHER BAGEL SPOTS IN LIC ARE BETTER?! This has to be a joke. Yes, I've tried Curley's, Blackseed, Rollin bagels, LIC Bagel, and Bricktown bagels and I don't think any of them compared to Utopia (to ME). Secondly, lox bagels have NEVER been cheap. Truly surprised at the number of people complaining about the cost and it is on par with what I've pay at other bagel places like Essa-Bagel and Russ and Daughters. Are ppl mad they are getting charged this price in Queens? Moving on, I was surprised by my boss with a catered breakfast for my birthday. She had nothing but good things to say about the delivery person & placing an order. It was awesome! Shoutout to Utopia for using real eggs and not watered-down fake eggs (side eyeing you Rollin bagels) you usually get for catering. Fruit salad was surprisingly fresh, bacon, bagels, and shmear were also wonderful. Oh and they praise God they aren't cheap with the seeds on the everything bagel. It's seriously getting out of control with the lack of seeds on an everything bagel yet charge us more and more. Utopia is 100% in my top 5 bagel spots along with the popular Apollo & Pop-Up. I find the bagel to be big, lots of seeds, have a nice 'chew' without being too dense, with a crispy exterior. They didn't get 5 stars because I personally did not go to this location and have a regular customer experience. However, I will update this once I do!

A yummy bagel spot in the neighborhood! There is plenty of seating inside and the lines moves SO quickly. I got a toasted everything bagel with low-fat scallion cc and well done bacon. My husband got a toasted sesame bagel with low fat cc and well done bacon. There was a good amount of cc on each bagel and bacon was super crispy. I wish the everything bagel seasoning didn't fall off during toasting bc there was so much seasoning on the bagels! It's cool you can see them baking the bagels as well, it's all open kitchen with glass. Would def go again!

My first experience with utopia bagels & I'm pretty impressed! I got the freak on an everything bagel & it was really really good - perfect amount of heat & crunch from the jalapeños. Also tried a bit of their egg salad, which was solid. I was a little disappointed with my chai - which felt like it had too much syrup, but other than that, really liked everything!

Place is always great for a bagel and enjoy the pastrami nyer here on an everything as well as french toast with cream cheese. Huge space and cool arcade machine gives it a chill hangout aesthetic. Always fast solid service.

This place was such a big hype when it first opened. Videos on Instagram showed that there was line down the street on opening day. I came here recently to try their Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on an everyday bagel. It was around 2pm and the bagel was warm and soft like it was just made. Surprisingly, I got a decent amount of eggs. But they gave me 2 thin slices of Taylor ham and a slice of American cheese. It was very good but for almost $11 it was an expensive breakfast sandwich. I would have stayed there to eat but all of their seating was occupied. It's a nice big space inside with seats/ tables and barstools. They do have some competition from Pumperkickel Bagel around the corner but Utopia Bagels is open 7 days a week and I believe that Utopia does have the better bagels. I'm looking to order some bagels from here for my next company luncheon.

Awesome experience. Good ambiance on a Nice Saturday morning. Egg everything bagel with scallions cream cheese. There is a pac man game for you or kids to play while in line. The vibe is young and energetic. Open design with a cool look into how the bagels are made through a glass wall. Bagels are big and fluffy. We will come back for sure

Love the Egg bagel with white fish salad / Nova bagel / LES Honestly the lines are not as long anymore I don't like eating there always crowded and loud and I see ppl put their feet in their table

Great location for some tasty bagels. We were visiting and my significant other needed some breakfast. We came on a Sunday morning and it was busy. We were on our way back home soon and we were lucky enough to have some room in our suitcase. He took the opportunity and ordered a dozen bagels to take home. He ordered an assortment and they were all delicious and they froze well.

Serviceable bagels in LIC. Have been here twice. Lots of seating inside which is nice. Bagels are generally quite fat and have a nice fluff/chew to it. However, both times I've gotten the bagels toasted for a sandwich it inevitably gets burnt bits which is annoying. Most recent visit got The Freak ($13.51) and The Worth It ($19.26) since I had an Uber Eats gift card. Both were fine, but certainly not on the cheap side. All-in-all, would go back if I had a bagel scratch, but certainly wouldn't go out of my way for them. Plenty of other bagel shops in the city, but I'm still happy there is a bagel shop in LIC.

Utopia bagel is a great addition to the neighborhood. Bagels were something we were severely lacking in the part of Long Island city. Utopia filled in that gap nicely. The ambiance and atmosphere is very clean and modern. It's also very efficient. Classic ordering on the right and pick up on the left. Both with a good amount of space for people to queue. There was a wide variety of bagels to choose from. Pretty much all the typical flavors. Same with the cream cheese. Pricing is your average price nowadays. I ordered the sausage egg and cheese on a toasted bagel and that ran me about $10 ish. Bagels were good. Nice and chewy. It was dense and flavorful. The exterior had a good crust as well. It was slightly smaller in size than what I expected for some reason but delicious bagel all around.

After months of anticipation, Utopia is finally open! A bagel store was much needed in the neighborhood (love rollin bagels, but it's not really a place to grab a dozen dry unsliced). As a local, I'm happy I won't need to order from Brooklyn Bagel in Astoria anymore. I visited at 9 AM on a Saturday and the line was short/quick. Got a rainbow bagel toasted with scallion cream cheese, and an everything bagel to eat later. The scallion cc is fire!! The bagels are smaller than Brooklyn Bagel's, but they're fantastic and I will be back again and again.

Solid spot for bagels in the area. This place gets packed on the weekends, so I usually try to do a pick up order if the online ordering platform is open (sometimes they close online ordering if they are too busy). I prefer getting just the bagels - I think they add too much cream cheese here. They have a solid selection of bagel options but you can't go wrong with the plain bagel. When it's fresh, it's pillowy soft inside with a nice crunch on the outside. It's like if a bagel and a baguette had a baby. There's ample seating inside, but it can be hard to find a spot during peak hours. Also, since there's only one pick up counter for both to-go and dine-in, the waiting area gets packed during peak hours as well.

Wow, recently opened and all the rage and well worth the wait. Day two we waited 13 minutes to order, much shorter than the day before. Within 7 minutes we had coffees and another six minutes we had four bagels and a cookie. Total experience to get food and eat was 25 minutes. Lines out the door and down the block for hot and fresh New York bagels. Smells are amazing and the line seems to move. Right in Jackson, just down the street from the food hall and the Aloft Hotel. Open 6am to 4pm everyday. The everything was delicious and the veg cream cheese is fluffy and chunky. The cheech sandwich is a huge bite but good. Not quite as savory as you expect which is probably a good thing. We got a French toast with strawberry for later. All in with four bagels, one cookie,one energy drink and two coffees was $58.

This location opened up in the area, decided to give them a try. The space is beautiful, clean and big - you can also see them making their fresh bagels. It was fairly busy, but didn't too wait long to order, and was called in about 5 mins. Iced coffee and whole wheat everything w/ scallion cream cheese. Bagel was good, a bit salty but still good. $15.50 for a bagel and large iced coffee, I guess that's standard these days!

I've heard such good things about Utopia Bagels that my expectations were high when I heard they were opening up a location LIC. Unfortunately, I was let down by the quality of their food. The bagel was a little tough and there was not enough scallions in the cream cheese. It wasn't a bad bagel but just compared to other "New York Bagels" it wasn't great. The food is also expensive in my opinion. The reason I only got a bagel with cream cheese was because a bagel with Nova salmon or white fish salad was going to cost closer to $20!!! $6 for a bagel with cream cheese was already enough for me. The space itself is nice though. I like that you can watch the bagel making process and there is plenty of space and seating. There wasn't a huge line at 9am on a Sunday but either way the line moves pretty fast. Overall, didn't live up to the hype and it won't be my regular bagel spot but it is convenient if you live nearby.

I came here this morning and it was good. My boss and I ordered bagels and coffee. I ordered an everything bagel with bacon egg and cheese. I also ordered a freshly squeezed orange juice. My sandwich was really good and it was done well. They also had a good system, very organized. I did not wait very long for my food and they handled the flow of the food well. The employees were very nice and I did not feel rushed when I ordered. I would definitely be back.

Hyped up launch of Utopia Bagels - probably the new king of Bagels in the LIC Queens Plaza/ Court Square-ish area :) The space was much bigger than I first thought and featured ample amounts of seating ! I came the day after their soft opening and it was very busy at 8am on a Sunday ... though the line moved very quickly and our name was also called soon after Ordered the blueberry cream cheese on a rainbow bagel (which is a dollar extra but I think it's purely for cosmetics? Couldn't taste the difference) as well as a nova spread on an everything bagel. They were extremely generous with the blueberry cream cheese and nova spread , hopefully when I come back it wasn't just a grand opening mentality :) Nova spread was a tad too salty for my liking, but blueberry cream cheese was a hit for me since it felt softer and whipped. but overall both bagels tasted great , will be coming back for more

I'm just visiting the area, but I hear there has been a lot of excitement over the arrival of this new bagel shop to LIC. First, I was really impressed when I walked in with the spaciousness and welcoming seating areas in the space. I had ordered in advance (their website directed me to UberEats for ordering for pickup), and my order was waiting for me when I arrived. The Staff were pleasant. I ordered three bagels: Onion bagel with vegi cream cheese, tomato and onion; Egg everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and tomato; and Build your own Nova sandwich on an onion bagel with low fat cream cheese, tomato and onion. Egg everything with jalapeño cream cheese - my dining partner really enjoyed this, saying that the bagel had a nice texture and the jalapeño cream cheese was excellent. Nova sandwich - pretty pricy on the one hand (over $18), but, on the other hand, a large serving of Nova lox on the sandwich. My dining partner enjoyed this and did something they rarely do - usually they will eat half and save the other half for later. In this case, they ate the entire thing and enjoyed it. Onion bagel with vegi - This was mine. I think the bagel was toasted perfectly - nice light-brown color and the outside had a nice crunch. I found the bagel inside overall to be a bit chewy though. Overall, a good bagel, but very chewy. We all noticed that they put cream cheese on both halves of the bagel, which is nice. Also. One of their nearby competitors charges $1.50 for tomato slice and 50 cents for onion. Here, each is 50 cents, which is much more reasonable.

Finally, a solid bagel spot in LIC, which the neighborhood has been sorely missing. As a result, Utopia is regularly packed during morning hours, and maintains a steady crowd through lunch. If you want to skip the wait, order ahead for pickup on Uber Eats. My go-to is a toasted sesame bagel with olive cream cheese and Taylor Ham. I don't even know how I discovered this combination, but something about it works for me. Just know that these puppers come loaded, and when you bite into it the cream cheese may squoosh out the back. Approach with thoughtfulness and consideration or make a mess. The Freak breakfast sandwich is also worthy of praise. Loaded with so much freshly sliced jalapeno, I almost couldn't believe it. So good, and adequate for a healthy appetite. Because of how busy it gets, you may have to wait for a table. Be patient, or take your order down the street to the picnic tables in front of the CUNY Law School building. Hopefully the Court Square park opens again soon and we can all eat bagels on the grass together. A better world is possible.

So glad this spot opened up! Bagels are smaller than Brooklyn bagel but just as fresh! I ordered via Ubereats and everything traveled really well. My everything bagel with lox spread was soooo yummy. I also got their macaroni salad and potato salad to try. Both really good, but the Mac salad had a bit too much mayo for my liking. Also ordered their iced matcha latte, and it was also a bit too sweet for me. Overall, I'd definitely order again and can't wait to try their other CCs!

I was so happy to see a location of Utopia Bagels open up in this neighborhood, as I really love Utopia Bagels in Whitestone but never made the drive there. The restaurant is large and spacious. But it's always packed on weekends, so it can be a little hard to find a place to sit. The line on weekends is also out the door, but weekdays aren't so bad. My favorite bagel is pumpernickel, and theirs is really good. I did knock a star off for the cream cheeses, which are good but not amazing. The fresh squeezed orange juice is great -- definitely worth trying. As others have mentioned, these bagels are pretty expensive. I often get the Worth It, and it's over $20. Overall, I'm very glad that Utopia opened up here. The bagels are great.

Solid bagel spot with huge interior. Plenty of seats. Bagels are on the expensive side and not anything to write home about, but we desperately needed a bagel spot in this neighborhood. Saturday morning service was surprisingly fast.

So happy Utopia has finally decided to expand into a second location in Queens. They're a short walk away from the Court Sq-23rd St (E/M/G/7) station and the shop offers plentiful seating and a restroom. I will note that this place is absolutely packed to the gills on weekends, as I've seen the line reach the door several times. However, it does move at a good pace and there are usually multiple cashiers to help with the flow. My usual order is a sesame seeded bagel, untoasted, with veggie cream cheese ($5.72) and it is pretty decent for the area, considering the disaster that was my experience at nearby Pumpernickel Bagels. The bagels themselves are a good size and feature a nice chewy crust. The veggie cream cheese, however, was heavy on bell peppers and could probably use a little more vegetables.

Low-key mid. I got an everything bagel, untoasted, with tofu vegetable cream cheese. I know most people might blame me for getting the tofu cream cheese, but I usually get that at other bagel spots too. I'm a big believer that if a bagel is fresh, it does not need to be toasted. Prior to ordering, I confirmed with the employee to see if the bagels were fresh (they said they came out within the past 10 minutes). I would give it another try to give it the benefit of the doubt, but if the experience the second time is similar, I would not be a returning customer.

There's always a line but it's totally worth it! Highly recommend the egg bagel, French toast, and rainbow.

Love how big and clean this establishment is and the line moves pretty quick, however every single time I go in person or order on Uber eats, my order is wrong!!! I always order 1 plain bagel and 1 French toast bagel. I've ordered this 3 times now and they never give me the French toast bagel. If you don't have it, please take it off the menu!

Be careful when just ordering a bag of bagels. The cashier takes your order and asks someone else to grab them. You need to check the bag bc I was missing a bagel. A bummer for sure- but the ones that made it into the bag did taste good. Crisp on outside and a great chew on the inside.

Bagels and sandwiches here are really good, bread is not dry at all and they definitely stuff the ingredients. Usually has a line but goes by really quickly. Food is on the saltier side though, and is definitely a bit pricey. Interior seems like a great spot to study or do some work!

Quick line Sunday at 8am. You can play Pac-Man while you wait for your order! Got the everything bagel with veggie cream cheese (my usual order at other bagel spots). Super chewy bagel, crisp outside slightly toasted. Huge dollops of cream cheese. The bagel quality is great- dense and chewy, but much smaller in size compared to other spots.

Have been here a couple of times now and both were great. Fresh NY style bagels with an army of people working here. They do a ton of take out via apps and the line is long early. So give yourself a few extra minutes. I've had the lox bagel with all the fixings ("Worth It") and it's been great. I've also tried hi at a bagel with cream cheese. Excellent as well. This last time I ordered and picked up and it was ready right on time. They have some nice seating spots inside as well that tend to be crowded so plan accordingly. It's a busy place.

I got one of these bagels delivered and it was a solid way to start your day! I got the worth it bagel (which includes capers, cream cheese, and lox) with everything bagel and it was solid. The cream cheese was a bit heavy for me, but I know some people are fans of it. The bagel itself was really good and chewy. I just wish there were veggies, like tomatos or cucumbers in this, to make it a bit more refreshing. Overall, not a bad spot for bagels in LIC.

We went during opening weekend and it took 30 minutes overall to get our order. I wouldn't wait that long again, but would come again when the line is shorter! We got a plain bagel with tuna salad on the side (they didn't have white fish available) and a plain bagel with bacon, egg, cheese, and avocado. The bagels looked perfect in terms of shape & color compared to images online. It was really, really chewy. I've never had to chew so much for a bagel. The tuna salad was good, but I probably wouldn't pay such a premium price for it again. The bacon, egg, cheese & avocado bagel was good. I do think the bagel is good enough to eat alone, so my future go to order would be a bagel with a smear on the side!

Food Let's get straight to the point: the bacon, egg, and cheese here is solid. The bacon's crispy without being dry, the eggs are fluffy and fresh, and the cheese melts just right into everything, tying it all together on one of their signature bagels. And the bagels? Service Service is fast and efficient, especially considering how busy it gets. The staff moves with purpose, and they're usually friendly even during a morning rush. Ordering's smooth, and your food comes out pretty quickly, even when the line's long. Ambiance The Long Island City outpost has a clean, modern vibe--more polished than your average bagel spot. There's a decent amount of seating, and it's a chill place to hang for a few if you're not in a rush. The Takeaway Utopia Bagels in LIC delivers a legit bacon, egg, and cheese--crispy, melty, and satisfying. It's a well-executed take on a classic, but it comes at a bit of a premium. If you're cool paying a few extra bucks for quality, it's worth the stop.

Ordered take out. 4 stars for the food 1. Egg bagel w/ veggie cream cheese, + jalapeños, & tomatoes: the egg bagel was the perfect texture, cream cheese was smooth but could have more veggies in it, glad I did add ons. 2. Onion bagel w/ white fish salad, toasted, + jalapeños, tomatoes, red onion: white fish salad was delicious! My bagel was a bit tough, probably toasted a little extra. However still enjoyed this combo and already want another. 3. The Freak: bacon egg cheddar jalapeños hash brown hot sauce. I added tomatoes and onions. I did not taste the hot sauce in mine but over all filling sandwich. Lot of egg and bacon in mine.

Let's get an accurate review on here: the BAGELS ARE GOOD, the management is the downfall. I've seen the reviews about the food not being great, and I'm not sure where those perspectives are coming from. Utopia's bagels are up there with NYC's tops like Ess-a-Bagel. I don't get their sandwiches and I honestly only get lox at places like Russ and Daughters so I can't speak to those. But the bagels are solid. Where this place falls short is the management and you notice this in its chaotic operation and poor customer experience. The lines are long during peak hours, they will frequently write down the wrong order. The pick up process is then super drawn out and confusing as they mumble out your name, so if you miss that quiet call out you might be waiting another 5 min. Then, the staff are just a joke. They are always super overstaffed but half of them seem to be standing around, and half of them are tripping over their colleagues. My personal favorite is the bagel ovens are separate from the core kitchen are. Which results in staff plowing through the area where customers wait for food with a tray of hot bagels, hopefully no one gets burned! It seems like all of this could easily be solved with some solid management and operational structures. Hopefully they figure it out as their product is good and it is the best bagel in LIC. The atmosphere is cute, though I usually just get take-out so I don't think about it very much.

It's a good bagel and a great addition to Lic. I'd give a a solid 4.3. I personally like it better when I take it home or get it for delivery since I can microwave it a little, and the bread gets softer - which is my preference on bagels Service can be a little long for a bagel spot, but they always have so many orders so there's that. I do think it would be helpful to turn off delivery during really busy times at the store, and I think they would push out consistent quality. But to rate this at a 3.4 (currently) that's just blasphemy lol. I'm not from Lic, but this current breed of lic folks tend to complain about everything. Price. Noise. Change. They Hate international ppl. So I wouldn't take the rating seriously.

Fast service. Delicious fresh bagels! The kids loved watching them make the bagels as well. The cafe area is clean & very open, plenty of space for you and your friends

Was not a fan of the bacon egg and cheese I got here. Unfortunately, this was my first impression of a NYC bagel, and I was left disappointed. The sandwich itself was bland and a bit tough but generally okay. But the restaurant's environment made the experience bad. I was sitting near the front of the store by the windows and there was just this awful smell in the air that I couldn't escape. It made me lose my appetite and I couldn't finish even half the bagel. Maybe it was an off day, but it really put me off.

Real rating: 3.5/5 The establishment is extremely clean and the people there are super friendly. However, the low scoring is based on the food. I got an egg salad sandwich and the egg salad was kinda bland; if they could revamp the recipe and add some spices like paprika and pepper, it'd be much tastier. The bagel itself was okay, they over toasted my bagel a little bit too long.

Wonderful bagels shop. Freshly baked and tasty bagel. Friendly and professional staff. Great breakfast restaurant.

The food here is generally pretty good but I had some pretty bad experiences with my past few orders. One order the toasted bagels were essentially burnt. Further, the cream cheese had a weird smell and taste as if it were spoiled. Last time, I ordered on Uber Eats, where for whatever reason I couldn't select Everything Bagel with cream cheese even though you can order an everything bagel on its own. I called the store after I placed the order and was hung up on. I called again and they said the delivery driver picked up already and nothing they could do about it. No offer to send a replacement, credit, or any type of remedy.

Poor quality ingredients, seen what they actually use, mediocre recipes producing food that is just meh and at ridiculous prices. The fish is outsourced from a good quality company, but the markup is absolutely ridiculous and somehow they managed to make it taste worse on a bagel or sandwich as opposed to just eating it on its own.. For such a simple and basic type of cuisine to be hyped and then deliver no quality, this place is a joke.
