"In a small side street in the island's old town, you will find this restaurant in a lovely vaulted cellar. In a stylish and modern setting, you can enjoy seasonal cuisine made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Opt for a set menu comprising four or seven courses, or choose from the small à la carte selection. At lunchtime, the options are more limited. Friendly front-of-house team. The secluded terrace in the courtyard is a pleasant spot. There is also a wine bar." - Michelin Inspector

We had an amazing experience at Valentin! The food and service were exceptional. Our waiter was not only attentive but also had excellent knowledge about wines, which made the evening even more enjoyable. We built our own courses, and it was absolutely no problem at all. The oysters and tuna tartare were fantastic, and the salad with feta, walnuts, and figs was so fresh and flavorful. The house-made gnocchi were delightful, but the highlight of the evening was the steak—absolutely divine! We also loved the complementary bread with two different dips—such a thoughtful touch. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely 4 course menu here with wine pairing. The food was amazing, the main course was especially exceptional. The wines were nice and special requests were fulfilled as well. We would definitely come back!

This was our second visit to Valentin. We were in Lindau last November, had a memorable experience there, and were eager to return. As an unexpected bonus, Eileen, the wonderful server we met in November greeted us. She is such a wonderful combination of friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We especially enjoyed the wine pairings she suggested (both times). Valentin is now our 'go to' place when we visit Lindau.

Underwhelming food but fine dining for Germany. Good break from the ubiquitous schnitzel. Mashed potato slightly gooey. Nice bread to start.

It’s a stylish and nice restaurant. In 2020 they got a Michelin star. We ordered a fish wich was baked in salt. It was served right from the oven, the salt was just removed before serving. It was with many side dishes. And some olive oil. Price was normal for the class.

Food was a disappointment, especially for the price. Appreciate the efforts of fine dining but it didn’t pull through. Tuna tartare was smothered in mayo and the bouillabaisse was approaching a fish soup, without the fish stock. The homemade bread and bavarian cheese spread were fantastic!! Wine was excellent, we had a bottle of local grüner veltliner at 39€, a great option versus 15€ to 30€ by the glass. The definite highlight of the evening was Eileen, our server. She was warm, welcoming and very professional despite an otherwise stiff atmosphere.

All menu is created by owners, some incredible tastes and combination, ex goat cheese ice cream, avocado ice cream. The service is the best in the world, so tremulous and attentive to details. Strongly recommend if you want to taste something new and fresh

The garden they have behind where they grow their vegetables is just wonderful to eat in. The food is really good, the staff is nice. Only thing is that it is a bit expensive, but other than that everything perfect.

Yelp
We, our family of six with kids, happened upon this place during a foggy day in winter because other restaurants were closed! WOW! The service was professionally fantastic! Our waitress was amazing, I could spend another page just on her! And the food was beyond what we expected in a bio/organic eatery. The salads were heavenly, ice creamed-like goat cheese, for one and entrees completely satisfying. I am certain the menu changes frequently but the ingenuity of ingredients was surprisingly delicious. Be prepared to be impressed, not for the picky eater... STAY AWAY! But for those of us who enjoy a relaxing and wonderful meal with friends and/or family what a gem!

Yelp
Thrilled to have had such a lovely dining experience in Lindau. Both the attentive service and quality of food set Valentin apart from the other restaurants in the area. Such a creative menu that was well executed - paired wines brilliantly with each course. Bravo Valenteam!
