Where to Eat Middle Eastern Food in and Around Boston

"The Sami’s food trailer has been serving the hungry folks of Longwood for almost 40 years. It’s known for its wraps — and probably contributed heavily to popularizing wraps in America — but it’s all good at Sami’s." - Terrence Doyle

Raising rent from ~$1100/month to ~$1550 a month under new management and calling it an enhancement to the residential experience. Could deal with shared kitchens with 20-40 people and shared bathrooms for the convenience in location, but this is a shameful money grab from already struggling medical and graduate students, and only hurts the community.

These are the dorms for incoming dental and medical school students, but you can also find many graduate students from HMS and HSPH. Rooms vary in size, but in general, they are ok. Places have a heating system, a window, a bed, a desk, and a walk-in closet. Some rooms share a door with the next room (permanently locked), which can be inconvenient if you have a noisy neighbor. Restrooms, showers, and kitchens are shared. There is cleaning staff in the mornings for the common areas. The place feels pretty old but is functional. The best thing about living here is having a gym, a tennis court, a basketball court, and other amenities just downstairs. There are also many cozy lounges to hang out. This is as good as it gets in terms of price and distance to the campus. If you value these two things more than privacy, this place is excellent for you. However, your experience will mostly depend on how ready you are to live in a communal style and how tidy and respectful people around you are.
