Varners Restaurant and Tavern - Review - Smyrna - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Varner’s Restaurant & Tavern in Smyrna is lovingly referred to as Smyrnadelphia by the Eagles fans who flock to the tavern (Fly, Eagles, Fly). Come here on game day, where you can sing the Eagles fight song on every touchdown, led by a hype man on a microphone who is only slightly off-key. Wings are your best bet here with fun flavors like lemonyaki and staples like lemon pepper. They do have some odd options for a sports bar, like their jalapeño wontons with a surprisingly fancy blueberry sauce and a very interesting fried banana pepper appetizer—a rarity for fried food offerings (it kinda works, but we wouldn’t order it again). Plenty of TVs line the walls in the 21-and-up bar area and in the family-friendly dining room, so you won’t miss a second of the Eagles' season." - Juli Horsford

The food is usually pretty good here, service is usually friendly. There can be a long wait if you order food to go, but if you dine in you will be seated quickly and food comes out in a decent amount of time. Karaoke night is fun and the song selections are good. The only down side is that they still allow indoor smoking. Otherwise it’s a nice place to hang out or have lunch/dinner.

Google
Decent sized dive bar. Decent amount of parking. Has a trivia night with a decent crowd. Pool tables. Check. Pitchers of beer, got them. Pitcher of High Life was $15 or less. Don’t remember. Food is decent. Came out quick and fresh. Overall I’ll give this place a: pretty good. Will go back.

Google
Lived around here about 40 years. Never tried Varners. Will never go back. Server snatched the lunch menu off the table at 5 minutes after 3p. Decided to order the cheese fries with bacon...it was suppose to be bacon. I've never met bacon in didn't like...until today. Had ABSOLUTELY no taste. Not salty, not hickory, nothing. Won't be back.

Google
Pretty good. Servers and host were great. Wings were really really good. Great size. The philly fries was delicious. Baked potato was ehhh ok. But what great service and def will be back. Has an older tavern sticky floors feel to it. All in all. Good.

Google
Absolutely delish!! The go to place for sudden dinner plans because they are open till 2. The restaurant is huge and really engaging with several open mic events. Food is amazing and they provide large portions. Family friendly and good for group hangouts too. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Came by Varners for a late night meal and to hang out. Decided to go with the wing combo. The wings were cooked perfectly, perfectly crisp yet still tender and juicy inside and neither overcooked or too flabby. The fries were alright, nothing special but did the job, however the portion was rather small. The vibe inside the bar was nice, as we went on a weekend there was both trivia and karaoke available for the patrons. Service was alright, initially we were checked on for food and first round of drinks, but the visits from our waiter for additional rounds started to become barren as the night progressed. Overall decent bar with some great wings and fun activities to do at night.

Google
I had high hopes for this establishment but I was sadly disappointed. I tried to order a white wine (I am 23, turning 24) during trivia but was denied and rudely told by the manager to come back with a new form of identification after I turned 21. My Florida driver’s license that I have had since I turned 16 (For 7 years) is vertical. The manager was clearly confused because he thought that all vertical Florida ID’s mean that the person is under 21 but the orientation is an indicator of when it was issued, NOT current age. If he had provided a way for me to verify my age instead of condescending, I would feel less inclined to give a negative rating. However, I was embarrassed in front of my peers for no reason; completely unprofessional and I recommend dining at other locations if you have high expectations.

Google
Went in on a busy Thursday night and received great service from the bartender. Although she was busy she took the time to play a soccer game that I requested on one of the tvs. I will be back here more often. They’ve definitely earned my business.

Yelp
I'd been to Varners years ago to play trivia. The place was packed and the food was good. Pre-Covid. Went last night for trivia and what a sad place. Hardly filled and my Cobb salad was tasteless, dry chicken, under seasoned and the Bleu cheese had barely and Bleu cheese flavor. Not happy for $16 with tax. Server was good and even played along with us on trivia. I'll go back for trivia but not for that salad. It looked good a real shame about the taste.

Yelp
Great food, fellowship and no crowd! We decided to finally go to Varners! They have daily specials today is $4.50 fireball shots and live music on Fridays!! I am very full and happy about this spot and will be back! Hubby had the fried chicken sliders with tots and I had balsamic steak wrap!! Delish!!! Of course no tomatoes. OH MY GOODNESS their sweet potato fries are the best!! One shot of FIREBALL!!!

Diego P.

Yelp
The Food is mediocre, the manager there is miserable and had an attitude when I wanted to cancel my order. Couldn't cancel my order sooner because my sever was no where in sight even though we were the only group in the restaurant. First time ever I had a server tell me to remember what number my ticket is, I thought the servers job is to keep track of the tabs!! Also, Not a fan of the smoky smell in the place either, better off going somewhere else.

Too H.

Yelp
Ordered Doordash: Packaged with care...Hot Lemonyaki Cauilflower was the bomb wish I would've ordered ranch/blue cheese on the side. Spicy beans hv corn in it and are hooot & Collards were particularly spicy/vinegary but flavor was bold n good w/ side mash; a bit over cooked but tasted fine next day. Mash was thick and hearty w/ the skins like I like them. Will be back for more veggie options (mac) and try other sauce flavors...maybe on Karaoke Fridays if it's still on. Thanks VT Staff!

Madilynn B.

Yelp
My kids love it, cause what kid doesn't like Mac, hot dogs etc. but the place always smells like a stale pack of cigarettes and if the kitchen is as clean as the rest of the restaurant, well, just don't think about it. Cheap food, friendly service, go for the tots and beer and call it a day.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was terrible. The food was not great at all, it was lacking flavor. I ordering a drink, Moscow Mule which is super basic and it was awful they didn't have limes, made it with lime. They made it with bottled lime juice. It is dark and there is smoking allowed on the bar side. Which is so dated and gross.

Yelp
French fries and a cold beer game of pool always fun at Varners. Stop in the atmospheres cozy and inviting

Cody H.

Yelp
Love varners, great food and cozy atmosphere. But I'm to the point I almost can't go anymore. The bartender Bert and his insistence to flirt with and proposition straight men when I tell him no I'm just here to drink not be hit on by a man repeatedly is creepy and harassing and if this was a woman writing people would care. But as man watch out, it's seriously pissed me off and I'll never go when he's there.

Cindy G.

Yelp
We have been there several times and the food is always great.....but the service has typically been questionable. That changed last night when we had Cannon! She was wonderful and really went above and beyond! Will definitely ask for her each time!

Yelp
Good food and I can smoke my cigars. They have karaoke on Fridays which is fun to watch. Also a nice patio area.

Yelp
Food not tasty Service good Just not my type of place I guess Food taste old or recooked

David S.

Yelp
Went in tonight like we do every Friday for many years. 2nd week in a row. Drinks are watered down and the meal we have ordered every time we go there is now half the size. We complained and manager came out (said she had been there 10 years, but I didn't know her) and tried to tell me it has always been that way. Wrong! Something has changed. Nick look at your management.

Yelp
I usually refrain from writing bad reviews because we all have off days, but this place is where I pick up my phone and take 5 mins to write this out. I didn't expect much but what I got was god awful. Egg rolls had hair in them, chewy meat, the wrap I got was completely soggy, I ordered a German style hotdog that looked like it was from a world war 2 concentration camp. The fried cauliflower was actually pretty good, but it's hard to mess that up. I wouldn't even order from here if I was drunk. I'll update this and give them an extra star if I don't contract some form of illness.

Yelp
I have never ran across such a crazy situation at a restaurant in my life. My hamburger was ordered medium well. I sent it back because it was pass well done. I had cut it. A few minutes later they returned the same overcooked cut burger to me. When I called them out on it the manager started screaming I was a liar. Then in her crazy fit of rage she took and threw my daughters food away by accident. Then yelled at me about that. That sad part about all this. I was talking a friend out who had just lost her husband. I loved this restaurant. I had no idea it had gotten so bad! I couldn't even believe it!!! I have recommended this place to everyone. Never again!!!

Yelp
We liked Varner's. The food was good, the service was great, and it is a local, pub-like spot with inexpensive food options. It has traditional tavern/pub food. The food is good, but they left out of the salt. We had to salt just above every thing. We started with the fried zucchini. It was great, just needed some light salting. I had the lemon pepper wrings, extra crispy, with ranch. They were delicious. They just need some light salting. I also had a side of the mac and cheese. It was decent but also needed some light salting. We didn't get dessert. The ambiance is very casual and friendly. It is a very popular spot.

Yelp
The sign said 2 for 1 boneless wings on the sign, so I'm thinking $0.50 wings, that awesome. I go in and find out it's by the pound and I love wings and I wanted to know how many wings that was, the bartender (and let me say the place was almost completely empty at 630p) handed me a menu, I ordered and was served chicken breasts cut up and seasoned. They were horrible and nothing close to a wing. Again, I asked the bartender. That was a chicken breast, how can you sell that as a wing. She said, 'They are called boneless wings' I'm never going to this place again for food. Chicken Wings are a sacred delight, what an abomination.

Yelp
Decent spot to eat at. Came for Trivia night, with a group. I feel like everything is fried. Wontons wasn't good to me, but the fried pickles, fried cauliflower and fried mushrooms were good. The salad was decent. The Shrimp were good too!
google avatar

Fahrina H.

Yelp
Mixed feelings about this place. We ordered the philly steak fries and Phily's burger. The steak fries were really bland. The fries were underseasoned, the meat was underseasoned, there was not enough cheese. I am all for crispy fries topped with gooey cheese and meat and peppers. But honestly, this was not that. The burger too was not all that special. Above all, they lacked flavor on both the patty and the fries. While I thought the price was reasonable, the quality was subpar at best. I was not sure if the place was having an off day, however I will not be too enthusiastic to order from them again. I would say that they completed the order in 15 minutes and we were able to pick it up really quick and easy, so A on customer service. They do hold weekly trivia which seems like a great activity with your friends. They have a big parking lot so no need to worry about parking/validation.

Yelp
I came here for the first time and it was very disappointing. Got a fly in my drink and they said there wasn't anything they could do about it. I just asked for a refund and they said no lol. Do not recommend.

Amber J.

Yelp
Definitely a go to. Only issue is late night menu is limited. Their karaoke night hilarious. But that spinach and artichoke dip is heaven in your mouth.

Yelp
Best restaurant in Smyrna. Delicious food, plenty of options, decent price, and it's been here forever.

Yelp
Experience: I would recommend this place for their friendly staff, food quality, atmosphere, and overall value Vibe: local family dinner vibe one side, sports bar with great bar setup and pool tables/ games other side Food: good food. All categories Drinks: strong and good value - great beer selection Service: good service, speedy and hospitality Prices: fair for the good quality. Recommend food & drink: pretzel and beer cheese app + chicken skewers app. Any of the Sliders.
google avatar

Verity W.

Yelp
Great neighborhood bar and restaurant. Food was flavorful and fresh! I had the pretzel with cheese for a starter And me and a freind split wings and a speciality burger. You could tell the burger was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The wings also had lots of flavor and were fried crispy with no batter (loved it) They also offer a shuttle to The Battery so if you have Braves tickets you can eat and have a drink there first then they will shuttle you to the game and pick you up after the game! So cool!

Yelp
Gathered for a farewell lunch with coworkers. I was one of the last few people to arrive I ordered my food I also just had water with no ice the waitress, very nice and energetic. Even though I was one of the last ones to arrive I didn't have to wait very long to get my food. When my food arrived it was very hot and I was able to enjoy the meal with my group. This was a very good experience. This was also my 1st time at this restaurant. I will also recommend this restaurant to friends and return for another visit.

Yelp
I've been coming to varners for a while, but this time I was extremely disappointed. I ordered a veggie quesadilla to go and specifically mentioned and emphasized to the staff member that I was allergic to peppers multiple times (hence take off red/green peppers and leave out salsa and jalapeños). When I got my order home and started eating my food, I could taste spices with peppers in the quesadilla. I immediately called varners and the manager confirmed that the "black beans" written on the menu are actually their spicy black beans ...go figure it had pepper spices mixed in with it. I should have gotten a refund, but I had then remake it instead and picked up a new quesadilla. Now I'm sick as a dog and can't eat anything at all after eating the peppers. They should be thankful I'm not deathly allergic, or there would be a lawsuit on their hands. Thanks for ruining my evening varners!!!!

Alajah S.

Yelp
Food is averagely good. Service is trash very rude staff from the greeters all the way to the bartenders. They all seem very uninterested n working there. They have a computerized system that u can place 2 go orders on. My friends n I have tried 2 use the service but something always goes wrong, it never works. If you're looking 4 a chill local bar. I recommend Timbers across the street.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I come here a couple times a week because it's so close to our house. I've only ever eaten the fries and tater tots, which are amazing. But normally we just drink beer :) The service is always great and the staff is really friendly. Customers are allowed to smoke/vape, so if that bothers you it may not be the place. But the indoor bar and outdoor patio have excellent TV's with relevant sports games on. It's a nice place to hang out.
google avatar

Cory R.

Yelp
I love wings and chicken tenders and wanted some despite it being late. Fortunately, Varner was open and they delivered via Uber Eats. Wings and fries were surprisingly good given the time of night. Would definitely order from here again and will eat there soon.
google avatar

Doug G.

Yelp
Our hope for Varner's was that it could become our new neighborhood place after we moved to Smyrna a few months ago. So, I really want to like Varners...shoot, I really want to LOVE the place, but after multiple visits in the recent months I have to accept that it's just not happening. I don't want to say that I dislike Varner's and I won't be back, but I will say that I have been consistently disappointed with my experiences thus far. I'll start with the positives, because they have several for sure! For one, they literally have a different special and activity each night. The best of the deals are 2-4-1 wings (boneless and bone-in) and $6.95 burger night! In addition to the food specials, they have bingo, trivia, karaoke, darts, etc...Additionally, I would be remiss if I didn't give them props for changing their sign every night - it takes commitment for sure! So, in addition to the specials and events, the food is decent here. I have had the wings, boneless and bone-in along with a burger and a few sides and apps. For the most part, I enjoy what I get. They have a wide variety of wing sauces, and while my go-to's are usually lemonyaki and medium - I have branched out here as they have sauces such as hot honey bbq, hot house, lemon pepper and ranch. I will say that while the hot honey bbq are solid in flavor, they are lacking anything that makes them "hot". In addition to the wings themselves, the sides are quite important! I am a tot guy and Varner's has some pretty legit, crispy and crunchy tots. In addition to the wings and tots, I have had their burgers. I have had the Big E's Ranch burger on a few occasions. It's a good sized American style burger topped with a ranch sauce and onion ring. I have also had the Widow Maker - topped with a fried egg, bacon and a garlic aioli, this burger is one of my fav's on their menu for sure! Additionally, they always have a good variety of beers, lots of local, as well as a solid supply of liquors and cocktails. Now for the not so good...the first thing is the service. The service has been absolutely hit and miss, inconsistent at best every time we visit. The latest visit brought a few issues with service. The first being that our server was not available much and didn't check in much. We had our drinks delivered by another server, in which we asked if they had a particular beer. She was unsure if they did, but stated she would let us know. She never circled back around and our server was absent so much, by the time he came back we had already moved on from wanting another drink. In addition to the actual service, we ended the night with requesting the ticket be split evenly between the three of us. The waiter seemed confident, took our cards and stated he would be back shortly. He returned, quickly dropped the tickets off and disappeared into the night once again. The tickets were off, way off...one was $26, another $8 and the other $16. It was the oddest math for splitting a check - we simply signed and moved on, as we didn't feel like fighting it. Outside of the service being spotty, the food has it's moments as well. While the wings are good and the burgers are yummy, the one thing I do have issue with is that at least 3 out of the last 4 times we have been, the wings have been luke warm at best. I have sadly never been served "hot" wings at Varner's and that is a bummer! Outside of the normal menu items, they run specials on a monthly basis. This past month was a taco dip. I LOVE all things taco dip/Mexican, so of course we order it. A few minutes later they bring out a small plate with a mound of "dip" on it. I have never had a dip served on a plate. Additionally, it was ice cold. As a taco dish, you would think it would be warm at the minimum. Either way, it was served cold in an ill-advised serving dish. Lastly, I want to make sure to mention that the bar area does still allow smoking. So, be strategic with your sitting. Overall, Varner's is a decent place. I definitely don't hate it, but am disappointed for sure. If they could tighten up their service and make sure the food hits the table hot, they would be in a good spot. Until that happens, I feel we will relocate our weekly dinners.

Adofo E.

Yelp
First time here, not the greatest experience. Ordered chips with spinach dip, the chips were greasy as ****, the dip was cold, not even lukewarm. Honestly don't know how it wasn't solidified. The waitress wasn't the brightest, ordered fries with my burger and they tasted as if they were cooked in oil that something was burnt in. Absolutely grotesque, I wouldn't recommend to anyone unless absolutely nothing else was open but at least my burger was good, there's not much of a margin of error for cooking a well done burger.

Christina B.

Yelp
Food was fantastic! New to Smyrna and so happy I stumbled across this place! The hot dog was on point and wings were fantastic!
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
My dad and sister were visiting from out of town (Philly) to go to the Eagles/Falcons game one weekend. We looked up Eagles bars in the area and discovered Varner's. I live downtown so it wasn't the closest bar, but it was just a short trip up 75 north. The night we were there (Saturday), the bar was hosting the Green Legion Tailgate Party. They had part of the parking lot blocked off for cornhole and the majority of the party activity was on the patio, including the DJ. We got there a bit early so we could eat before the rush and we were glad we did. I had the Ranch Burger and it was huge! It was delicious. There ended up being a couple hundred people, but we had a blast! It was awesome to hangout with other Eagles fans! This place has an awesome draft beer selection and the food was great too...good/huge portions worth the price tag. My only complaint was the wait time after placing a drink order. I know it was crowded but they should have planned/staffed accordingly. I would definitely go back again but probably only for a special event...not because of anything they did, just because of their location.

Velecity G.

Yelp
Ordered their chicken fingers over and over again! Getting them lemon pepper style is the way to go! I love it here!

J K.

Yelp
We always like going as a family to Varners, sure it's a little bit run down and it's a bar.. but the employees are usually very nice and the food is reasonably priced and tasty. Kids eat free on Fridays and everyone there seems happy to accommodate the kids and don't act annoyed they are swarmed with them :) Our todder son loves the little arcade and he happily goes back and forth on his own from our table.

Yelp
I ate here only once, after flying in to Atlanta, taking a long Uber ride to Smyrna, having enormous trouble getting into my AirBNB and not having anything to eat all day. I liked the place for a couple reasons and would encourage anyone to eat here if they're looking for something on a menu consisting of a wide variety of bar bites. I ate the wings. I ordered them with the hot sauce. They were not very spicy, but they were flavorful enough to keep me interested. The fries were good as well. They also have numerous other kinds of burgers and nachos and quesadillas and other varieties of stuff on the menu. I'd suspect they're all greasy and good. They also have a very wide, surprisingly good selection of craft beer. I could have plowed through a half dozen and not really scratched the surface. I did have a miscommunication with the server. I had a beer going and as she walked by my table she asked if I wanted another beer. I said yes. Well, she didn't stop or come back right away. I wanted to order a different kind of beer. But after a couple minutes she came back with a glass of the same kind of beer I had. She didn't realize I wanted to change it up. I didn't say anything and just drank it. Most people who work at a place with a lot of craft beer will typically know they should ask what beer the customer is ordering, as most of us do not like to order the same beer over and over. But it wasn't a big deal. The one thing everyone in this area should know is they run a shuttle bus to and from the Braves stadium, which has a notorious problem with parking. A previous reviewer said it's free, you just have to order something. I was told it's a little more involved than that. You are supposed to call ahead, reserve a spot on the bus, then show up and you have to buy X amount worth of food and drink, I think it was $20. The ticket for the shuttle comes in the form of a voucher you get once you buy the food. At least, that's if I understood the server correctly. As stated above, she wasn't the most thorough.

Yelp
I would not recommend this restaurant. We called twice to confirm there would be trivia on Saturday and were told yes both times. We got there on Saturday and the waitress said yes it would be starting at 8. Unfortunately that was not the case. We went there specifically for trivia. We stayed for the food but it was not good. The spicy black beans were awful! It was like they heated black beans from a can and dumped a cup full of black pepper on them. One of our party got a sandwich and was sick afterward. The steak sandwich was very small. We won't be back.

Yelp
I passed by this place a thousand times. Finally stepped out post quarantine. Pulled up the the parking lot - packed. Walk up to the patio - packed. Walk to the bar - had to pull up a chair. Pool tables - taken. It was fair inside but outside won. It was a nice night out. My friend told me about this place. She just wanted to get out for some drinks. I'm always down for that. We sat at the bar and kinda hopped around to the high tables on the side and then eventually made it to the pool tables. All of the waitresses were really friendly. I didn't eat here but the drinks were good. Someone close to the pool table ordered wings and they smelled SO good - over the cigarette smoke? How is that possible? By the time my drinks we're wearing off and I was ready to eat, the kitchen had closed. I'll try them next time. Waking up the next morning with a slight hangover I realized that no one had face masks on - only the waitresses but the patrons did not. I hope all were healthy. No one checked temperatures at the door ‍ I feel like this post observation is getting worse but I refuse to remove the stars because of the staff.

Yelp
Tara was outstanding! She greeted us with a friendly smile and was so attentive. Drinks were cold and delivered quickly. The food was delicious and came out faster than I expected. Can't wait to come back and visit Tara again. You have to come try this place!

Yelp
When we first walked in, I was put off my the old cigarette smell and dark dated wood. But we decided to stay. There were lots of televisions with football playing. The volume of the game was very loud. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. My husband ordered the black and blue burger and I ordered the homemade Ruben. The food came out pretty quickly. The burger was good but the meat itself could have used some additional salt and seasoning. The Ruben sandwich was tasty. French fries were okay. As we were finishing our food the Eagles scored a touchdown and the entire place erupted into cheers. Then someone came by our table and dropped off green Jell-O shots. So that was kinda cool, even for me who isn't a big football fan. I could see how this spot would be really fun to hang out with friends and to watch a game. I'm deducting one star because the smoke-smell, the loudness, and darkness. I'm giving four stars because of the great service, fun atmosphere, and relatively good food.

Neal I.

Yelp
I ordered a Philly cheese steak. It cost about $14 after I ordered it with red peppers, onions, and marinara sauce. The sandwich came cut in two halves. However, the sandwich was so small I was shocked. Each half was smaller than one of my fists. They did manage to give me an enormous amount of celery and carrots as the side that came with the sandwich. I told the nice waitress that the side should not be larger than the meal. For $14 they charge, they should know this is a huge mistake in terms of valuation. In my opinion, the sandwich that was delivered was worth about $5 - not $14. Additionally, the chicken wings were done too crispy and it felt like I was eating the burnt turkey dinner from the National Lampoon's movie: Christmas Vacation. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

Yelp
Went on a Sunday for wings and football. Very smoky in there. Enough to probably stop me from going again... wings were okay nothing exciting. My friend and I both ordered two different flavors and we both complain about lack of seasoning on the wings and the fries. I can't think of the last time that happened anywhere else. However their service is on point and they definitely have their systems down for taking peoples order getting in and getting the food out to them piping hot. Due to the great service I gave them three stars but for ambience smoke and no tasting food I cannot rate above three stars which is just average to me

Yelp
This restaurant is in a very convenient location and their staff is so sweet! Try their specialty cocktails and grab some tasty chips and queso. There is an amazing variety of food that will please everyone. Burgers, salads, wings, wraps and more. The only disappointment we have is before trivia Thursday nights the music played before and throughout the game very old music is played. It would be nice if music younger than 30 years old would be mixed in.

Yelp
Please never to to trivia on a Tuesday night. The guy running trivia is complete horrible and has no care for the patrons at the bar. I love this bar but there decision to allow the guy talk to their customers the way he does is atrocious. Go somewhere else.

Yelp
Cool place to eat, meet friends, get a drink, watch a game or just crack it off in general. Hell, when I walked in around midnight on Black Friday, there was even a poker game taking place and DJ Bob killing the 1s & 2s. The TVs are prevalent and the craft beer is flowing. The food looked pretty good but I only had a couple chicken wings which were pretty par for the ATL bar food scene. The craft beer selection, while ample, left something to be desired in terms of unique offerings (though Lagunitas might be some kind of Holy Grail in these parts). They do have game and pool tables, but the shuffleboard table needs some serious love. The staff is super friendly and Varner's seem like the type of place where old friends meet up; the neighborhood kick it spot that has some good food too. The patio is sizable and I bet Varner's gets popping on a warm Summer night. We shall see.

Yelp
My son and my friend and I decided to try this place on a Wednesday evening after work, and I must say they have really great burgers! The craft burger are $5.95 on Wednesdays, served with French fries ( not bad huh) and they offer a nice variety of craft burgers. The kid ordered chicken tenders and a brownie sundae ( delish ) all of the food was great. The service was a little shaky, we had the most confused and missing waitress ever. I believe she took on to many tasks at one time because the service was bad, friendly but bad. The people across from us had to go find someone to get water. I heard them complaining as well. I'm probably sure that what I'm about to say has absolutely nothing to do with the restaurant or maybe it does because someone could have told him to sit his ass down and shut up, but when we walked in it looked like some people were setting up to play poker in the restaurant area, which was cool, I had no problem with that, but there was a gentleman with the porker crew whom treated the restaurant like it was his home. He was watching a basket ball game on the flat screens up front where they were playing poker, and he was literally standing up and yelling at the TV throughout our entire meal. It was awful, just awful. My friend and I could not even have a conversation or enjoy our meal between searching for the waitress and looking at this clown every time he started yelling. The waitresses & greeter seem to have been acquainted with him already, so they just smiled. Words of advice: Control your regulars/ don't allow them to take over your restaurant. The bar area seemed fun, a lot of very handsome bearded men were gathering In that area as we were leaving. Which means I will check out the bar area on my next visit. Lol. Food: Thumb's Up Service: Thumb's Down

Yelp
Great neighborhood pub, solid pub menu and beer selection. Wife and I relied heavily on this place during an extended re-construction of our place. And ownership supports community non-profits. By far one of the most prompt Uber Eats/similar service in Smyrna.

Yelp
Food is typically good. I haven't ordered anything I've disliked. The tater tots are always cooked well and I really enjoyed the Black and Blue burger the last time I had it. We typically go on Fridays because kids eat free with the purchase of an adult meal which is great. Each meal comes with ample portions. Service can be a hit or a miss. Seems like some of the wait staff is often spread thin amongst many tables. The atmosphere is pretty dark in the dining room, but we haven't been to the bar. Bathrooms are pretty clean. They have a fantastic shuttle to the stadium for Braves game days. They just require you to purchase something - a drink or some food - and you can take the shuttle from the restaurant to the stadium for free!

Yelp
We came for wings and beer and college football and it was okay. You can't hear the games they have playing because there's music playing (good music, but still). I got the ranch wings with onion rings and it was pretty good. They also have a great on tap beer selection and you can sample different beers for free! Plenty of parking. Not a place I'm dying to go back to, but it wasn't a bad experience by any means. Just kinda meh.
