Vegan East

I ordered a cake for my son’s 20th birthday. First time ordering and first time trying vegan carrot cake. Carrot cake is one of my favorites. This vegan cake didn’t disappoint it’s very tasty. We really love the cream cheese frosting.

I'm not vegan and I don't have any dietary restrictions. I bought my birthday cake here to accommodate dairy intolerant family. It was one of the best cakes I've ever had. Definitely better than most non-vegan cakes. I returned to buy cupcakes for a family gathering and the family members who normally say they aren't into sweets scarfed them down and proceeded to rave about them.

Cute lil bakery with amazing cupcakes, cinnamon rolls and desserts! I was visiting from Washington state and stopped in for some yummy treats! I’m so glad I did, Feel like they need to start promoting online orders to ship to people out of state😁 I would definitely be a buyer! The cupcakes were moist and had amazing flavor, but not too sweet. The peanut butter dessert we bought was out of this world good!!!! I was a bit sad that they were closed when I came up with the idea to go get more to take home before our vacation ended. I’ll be back for sure!

Fantastic employees who are great at their job and are extremely friendly. I've been here several times and even as a non-Vegan myself, these are some of the best baked goods in Minnesota. Buy with confidence!

Vegan East is our go-to for event desserts and that was the case again for a recent wedding shower. We do a special order from their cupcakes-of-the-month selection to make sure all our vegan and gluten-free party-goers have yummy options (and always hear positive things). So happy to have Vegan East in the neighborhood!

One of the best places for vegan desserts in the cities. They have a continually rotating selection of cupcakes and other sweet items. They are located in a cozy little building that adds to the charm of coming to buy.

Such a cute place! Super convenient spot with off street parking. I was able to get in and out pretty quickly, so that's super nice. It was my first time visiting this place...and seeing "vegan" I was put off a little bit. I didn't really know what to expect, but for sure, my expectations were blown away! They had a lot of nice variety of cupcakes and my favorite was their peach one. Forgot the name of it though...super moist and not too sweet. I also got their brownies...and that was really good too. I'm super picky, so me finding this place wonderful, it's REALLY good.

I am making this review in response to a recent review accusing Vegan East of having dairy in its desserts. I have a severe milk allergy and have been getting desserts from various Vegan East locations for over three years. I never once have had a problem with their desserts. Their desserts are freshly made and incredibly delicious. As a loyal customer with a severe dairy allergy, I can say that you can confidently eat here if you have a dairy allergy. I love Vegan East and am so grateful for their production of amazing vegan desserts that I felt compelled to defend them with my positive experiences. Please do not hesitate to give them a try if you haven't yet!
